04 Hey, you have done to censure? Wow, crare you young? Whycoume of America. It's time for the Adventures of pipe Man on W four c Y dot com. West Pompeas is number one internet radio station. Here's your host, the White Man.
56 This is the pipe Man here on the Adventures pipe Man W four c Y Radio. I'm here with our next guest, who is on the I would say on the other side of the pond, but I think on the other side of a few ponds. And what a great artist with some great new music that we're going to share. So welcome to the show. Absy, how are you? What's going on? How's it going? Oh, it's going great? And man, So my first thing is, like a lot of artists nowadays, there's artists that are moving from other genres into rock and you've done the same thing. What for you prompted that to happen? Or is it more of you just want to experiment in all genres and forget the labels, because I'm all about that.
45 Definitely. You know, it's it's such an amazing thing to explore here and there and to find yourself literally doing everything you know, like the sky is your limit to like just keep trying out and see what's good, what's suitable. So yeah, moving from genre to another it was such a fun journey for me. But by the end I find myself and then the heavy music mostly because of the energy, you know, and the way how all that heaviness channels the emotions the message behind the music itself.
30 So yeah, that's why I feel like the heavy side is more homelike, you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, And you know the thing is too is you know. That's why I said what I did about labels because I hate boxing an artists into one area. Because I think being an artist means the same as the listener. We like all kinds of genres, we like all kinds of music. We have different facets of our personal only different vibes, different moods, depending, you know whatever. And I think as an artist you want to experiment with all that, and like a true artist is just gonna make the music that they feel coming out of them, not just by some rules, but.
18 One also like that the fun factor or the best part of doing all that experiment in different genres and stuff. You're gonna expand your fan base, You're gonna gain more people. So to have an album that have different vibes in each track, you might one hundred percent, uh catch some fans from this truck and some fans from this truck, so expanding it's it's very like bonus and and goal from doing that different vibes and different genres, you know.
01 Yeah, And I think even you as the artist, it's like you would get bored right in the same song over and over again. For me me as well, like when I listen to music, I don't only listen to heavy, you know, I listened to all kinds of genres. Even I'm from the Middle East. Yeah, there is some good music from the Middle East, from the Middle East, so listening to that stuff could inspire you, and you can get inspired from all the way to put it in your music after all. So hell yeah, dude. So since you brought it up making music and performing music in the Middle East, what is that like for some For somebody like me that's over here, you know, I know from my perspective, what is it like over there for you?
55 Like in Kuwait specifically the local underground scene, which is me as an artist, part of. It's not a big scene, to be honest, the focus is not on the local scene, on the underground local scene specifically, it's more focused on big selling artists that can bring on, you know, big audience and big concerts. You know, it's like a money talk kind of thing. But out of Kuwait, in the region around Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Bahrain, they are becoming more collecting for the local scene, which is specifically in Saudi Arabia, like the metal scene in Saudi, specifically in realb it's getting bigger in crazy way, like we never dot yeah, dude, like Metallica played there last year? Was it last year or this year? I think last December. Lincoln Park just recently played this month thirty seconds to Mars, MWS, Guns and Roses are coming so cool, it's amazing, Like we could never think that those big bands that we grew up listening to coming to the Middle East to perform, you know what I mean. Yeah, So so like looking at that, it's it's very hope, hopeful and faithful for
29 the youngsters for the underground scene, for shows happening in the region. It doesn't matter if it happens and it or not. I can make it to Saudi. I played in Saudi. I performed like more than once in Saudi, and the scene there it's just amazing. The cloud is thriving and thirsty for for music and their energy is just amazing. I wish if you could see it. It's it's fucking amazing, dude. See so cool here, Because you know what, music is the ultimate uniter and maybe because this is all happening, the younger generation can create a new world where we are united instead of all the bullshit that's going on in the world. And I think that's why I say it a lot. I think that's why so many people after COVID were so angry and attacking because there was no live music for two years, you know. And I think that's the ultimate therapy. It's the ultimate place to get things out. I think that's what people that aren't into heavy music don't understand that heavy music is not about hurting other people. It's about getting out your what's inside you that you already have instead of taking it out on other people.
46 One percent, you're absolutely right, and like with with all of that happening nowadays, yeah, you are right about music is connecting people. The music is is the love language to to everyone. We all love listening to music. Music put people together. It doesn't matter what kind of it is. For example, my brother, my younger brother, he's not into heavy music. He doesn't even listens to English music. He likes the music based locally. Once I took him to uh in Dubai. I took him to a cover and Nirvana cover band were playing in a bar in Dubai and he was like, whoa, what is that dude? And and after we finished the gig, he's like, are they playing tomorrow as well? Can we come?
36 You know? So, yeah, music brings people together, and it's amazing how it works. And you know, like spreading love with music without like putting a good message in music to to inspire, to make people get touched by it. It it modif motivate in a in a good way, you know. So that's the beauty of making music overall. I love it and I love like I was checking out some of your tiktoks and we spoke about vibes before and it was like every TikTok, every song that was performed on TikTok was like a different vibe and you're gonna love hearing this. But the one where you were promoting changing that gave me a total deaf tones vibe.
31 Oh yeah, oh yeah. I've had different vibes that would would eat songs. So yeah, I was trying to go for deaf tones here. I was trying to go for modern bands here, you know, like Lincoln Park vibes here. So so doing that, it's it's so much fun and it's nice to see people noticing that I'm trying to present to you everything that you would like. You know what I mean? There you go, I love it, And so tell us about your newest music. So basically I just released a ten track album, which is the album called Hollow Bloom, and each track takes you to a different journey. There is songs talks about recovery.
14 There is like self recovery from a past trauma. Uh. There is a song that talks about this toxic friendship that out of the sudden turns to be a horrible situation out of nothing, Like You've done nothing. Why would you turn and become a bad person to me and talk shit about me for no reason? I've done nothing to you. Yea, we have we have that. And also I've got a song called Gone Gone is a song that talks about you know, we all have that beloved person who passed away and they're not with us in this life, and we wish if we get one chance or one moment to them once again, to express to them how much we missed them, and how much we and what what did we go through without them, all the all these years without them, you know, to share with them the stories that we we we were not able to share, you know. Uh So, so that that's it was inspired by my grandparents who passed away a couple of years ago. And it's nice to put it in a song and see people can relate to it, you know, absolutely, Yeah, and and yeah, there's songs that talks about life. There's songs that talks about toxic relationship.
42 There's a song called The Broken World that talks about what's happening in the world and like with all the wars and all that bad timing that's happening now, and people who are being killed and dying for no reasons, just for stupid politics and and selfishness and greed, you know. And yeah, that song was very very close to my heart because we're sick of it. We're sick of it. People don't deserve all of that. Nobody deserves any of this, you know. Uh so putting that in in a song was was really really really amazing to to put it in a good way, in a good message for the world to hear it, you know. So, yeah, it's it's a it's a great journey, really nice songs, different vibes, and I'm excited for everyone to hear it.
39 And I love about the last one because it's a peb peeve of mine. Anyway, you know, it's ridiculous with the world leaders sometimes due to us as human beings and people, and we're like, we were talking about music, you know, and if you look at the fascist leaders in history, they all try to stifle people from listening to music that says something. On the other side, it's used as power to take away from so that people are not united. And like to me, I'm a jew. Coolest thing would be is if all the people in your region that don't like each other form the band from each part of the region and perform live shows.
28 That we could end the what's been going on for thousands of years once and for all. Probably, Dean, if we think about it, it's all those names and all that stuff are just labels. We are just human, right, There is no different dude. We are like if people believe in God, they believe that they were made from sand, you know, so we are all sand. If people don't believe in God, their logic is just like some people believe that we monkeys in our past lives, you know, and whatever you believe, and we are all the same. Yeah, just human beings, one race to human race, exactly.
10 All those labels are put there to separate people, to spread hate, to do. All that, all this trick in the book to finde and conquer, like you exact to the ancient ancient leaders, and they use the same strategy. Why is it still working in twenty twenty four? Brainwashed since day one? You know, it's hundred percent, So I love it. Tell everybody how they can reach out to you. Check out your music, check out where your live shows are, merge any of that good stuff. Let me pull the page that I use for what's it called websites? I'm still new with it.
51 Link tree your link tree? No, No, I'm not. What's it called absy dot? Call me k orm i dot he that I oh again, it's absy ab Why that's k O M I do's io. You can find me there, all my links, all my stuff, all my music merch that's all that nice? Nice? Is there anything else you want to share with the listeners that we haven't covered already? Um, guys, just listen to music and in in like, let music be your escape from reality. Life sucks at the same time it's amazing. It's amazing. What what sucks about it is? How uh the spotlights is all about the heat? Fuck the heat? Put your eyes focus, focus on something buzzard or focus on something that makes you happy.
46 Find your passion in life. Life is amazing. Life is amazing. Like like the the tiniest thing or the easiest thing, are that the best out of it. Take it easy on yourself, enjoy your life, enjoy music, find your passion and listen to music and that's that's what really matters. That's all you need. There it is and you know I'll add to that too that like my big thing is understand everybody else and what the different variables are in their life. You know, maybe people feel the way they do because of a place that they live. It doesn't even need to be a country here. You know, it could be in a different county, like it could be somebody that lives an hour from here, lives a very different lifestyle than where I am. And everybody has different upbringings, different influences. We're all unique individuals, and maybe take the time instead of thinking everybody should be the same and putting labels on people, maybe understand why people feel the way they do, and if it doesn't affect your life in any way, like, then why you let it bother you? Let people just I say, just be you. Forget all the labels, the division.
58 You just do you and whatever you is. That's your unique thing. But yeah, and that holds true for music, and you're definitely doing that too. So thanks for being, you know, such a great inspiration and role model for others around the world too, you know, so we can make these dreams happen. And thanks for being on the Adventures of pipe Man to yours. I appreciate it. Dean, Thank you, thanks for having me. Thank you so much. Thank you for listening to the adventures of Patemn. I'm w for CUI Radio.
