0:04 Hey, you have then too, censure. I'm for see Wow cra Young. Whycoup America. It's time for the Adventures of White Man on W four C why dot Com West pomp Beats is number one Internet radio station. Here's your host, the White Man. It's only tacud, it's posts. It's only just for kuding this this stuff, but it. Says a story.

0:46 Forever to charm. And we know it's only live. Mon. This is the Pipe Man here on the Adventures pipe Man W four C Y Radio and I'm here. With Jeris Johnson. Yes, After Shocks start of your new tour. What a great way to start off the tour. This is a very good way to start it, and it is it is. Have you played After Shock before I came? I have one time. I did one time. Yep. It's pretty a couple of years ago to play at right. It was awesome. Yeah, we played like a big, bigger stage, bigger stage last time, but today was actually much better than it was last time. And it was a smaller stage and an earlier time slot and it fucking crushed.

1:35 It was amazing. What made it better just the energy the people I don't know like because it's early and it's the first day, you know, I don't. Know, people just want to fucking get right to it. I don't know. Maybe they like me, I don't know. It was it was just great. I don't know. It blows your mind too, when you're like Thursday, first day early and you have that kind of crowd. Yeah, it was a huge, massive crowd. Everyone was super People are mashing, people were washing in between songs, I. Know, music playing. I love that. I was like, wow, you guys are fucking crazy. See if I was up there, I would just stand there and just watch them for a little while, you know, Like yeah. And people do that too. People do that too, people gow, you know, gock at the sword or whatever. But yeah, there you go. So what else you got new going on? That we want the listeners?

2:16 I mean, I'm honestly just so focused on just crushing this first headline tour, never done one. Want to get it right, want to put on a good show for my real fans, you know, for the first time. And it's also just the first time that I've been able to like be in control of the whole show, the openers, the house music being played in between, like just just curate the whole experience, you know, and just make it as good as I can make it, obviously, when you're I've done amazing tours and I've done I just got off the run with Falling into Verse, which was awesome, huge, massive venues, massive shows, good hangs, everybody was awesome. Nice. But I'm the first one going. I only play thirty minute set this whole thing. So this is it's going to be so different than anything I've done, just actually doing a headline tour, you know, And I'm.

3:03 That must feel great too, to make your own decision, because it's hard. I think people don't realize when you're the undercard artist, you can't really put on the show you want to. Yeah, yeah you can do you know. I try to do as much as I can obviously, but yeah, you're there. You're there to do a job, you know exactly. It's the headliner show. They run the show, they make the decisions, and you're there to get the crowd warmed up, make everybody feel good, put on the best show you can. And that's It's just a job, is what it is at the end of the day. But when it's your own headline show, you can do whatever the fuck you want, and that's what I plan on doing. So I think it's gonna be great. And because you are so creative, and that's part of what gets taken away when you're not a headliner, that creativity.

3:43 Yeah, because you just have less option less, you know, less control over doing weird. You know, I could spend fucking I can pull people up on stage and night them, I can do whatever. You know, you can do whatever you want when you're the headliner. Where you're not the headliner, you just gotta go play your music. And you know, that's what it is. So very cool. And so what other things you have in store for your headline tour that people why they should go your live show. There's a few bits I have planned that I won't spoil. Of course, some get in between the song shit. I mean, I really just want to go celebrate an album that just came out that I'm very proud of, which is Dragonborn, and celebrate. That with people who love the music.

4:24 Because that's when you also, when you're not playing your headline show, Yeah you're gonna have fan show up and yeah people are me be saying everything. But when you're doing a headline when you're doing a headline tour. That's like the true celebration between you and the fans of the music that you've created, because you get a few hundred people in a room and you guys get to celebrate this thing that means a lot to me and hopefully means a lot to them. Yeah, And it's just it just becomes much more beautiful, you know. And when everybody's there for the same reason. Yea, and it's your crowd, like they're coming there for you specifically. Correct hopefully, yeah's hopefully up. All right, So tell everybody how they can hit you up on socials on the web. Jerish Johnson on everything at Jerishohnson dot com. All the links are readily available everywhere. It's pretty easy. I have a very googleable name, so it's not too hard to find.

5:16 And do you have a favorite piece of merch that people should buy. Honestly, the tour shirt goes pretty damn hard. The tour shirt is great. The poster is really good. I'm proud of the poster. Yeah, the VIP meet and greats those are awesome. They're selling well. I'm excited to meet people. I mean, obviously I've met people. You know, just at the other if I'm able, if the shows are small enough and I'm not the headliner, I can usually go out to the merch booth and take pictures with everybody. Obviously, being the headliner you kind of have to do the VIP meet and great thing. But I'm excited to just hang out with everybody, take pictures, you know, meet the ones that are the most into as into it as I am. You know. That's like, it's so cool, so fun to meet people that it only becomes real, like a sure number on the internet or good.

6:01 Yeah, whatever. I have two million. Monthly listeners on Spotify and two million followers on this and blah blah blah whatever. Like numbers on the internet are good, but it doesn't really get real until you actually meet people and you hear them say this song, and you know, that's when it actually means something. So yeah, that's my favorite part is just meeting people and getting to realize that the music actually is real and it's a real thing that people listen to and sing and enjoy whatever. You know, what's your favorite thing somebody has said to you? Sorry? Were what was your favorite. Thing somebody has said to you? Oh? God, I've definitely had some really good interactions. Nothing comes to mind immediately, of course, you have all kinds of interactions when you're I mean, I really like when there's like little you know, when parents bring their. Little kids, yeah, and the kids make signs.

6:43 And because I remember going to shows when I was younger, like with my dad, and if I got to meet somebody or take a picture of somebody, it was like, so I would just I would never forget it. I'd never forgot all the times I had those interactions. So it's cool to imagine that, like life has come full circle to the point where where I am now able to give that kind of interaction to like parent and their ten year old you know, son or daughter who's there at the show with them. It's just cool, man, it just feels very like full circle. Well, you're definitely a true artist change in the face of rock and roll. Bro. I appreciate that, and I love that you're here after shock and thanks for being on the adventure. Thanks for having me, Bro appreciate it. Thank you for listening to the Adventures of Fight Man. I'm w for CUI Radio.
