PipemanRadio Interviews Holy Wars at Download Festival 2025

0:04 Hi, you love them too? Yes, that's true. Wow for you you. This is the pipe Man here on the Adventures pipe Man W four c Y Radio, and I'm here with Yes at download. I can't believe we had to cross the pond to do this interview for real. We're like the only Americans here. Yeah. So I love how this happened because I was waiting for this interview and you came up.

0:47 I needed a cellphone charge and you. Guys need a charger, and you're like, I'm like, here, I got this thing. And I could tell you're American before you open your mouth because you were like on the adapter thing and most of the people here are like, what the fuck is that? Yeah? Uk switching it up on every other outlet that that we've had. So right, how's it feel to be a download? It's incredible. We've been waiting to come here. So it's the first time. It's our first. Time here, and even Nick, who's played with some other artists, this is your first time as well. Yeah, first time, nine, first time. And so I want to ask, how do you compare doing download the post to like the Danny Wimmer festivals?

1:34 We do love all the festivals but I will say, yeah, song one, the fans are going hard, like they're ready to come and have a great time, where maybe in some other areas we've had to really earn it real man. But I saw a lot of people out. There singing our songs, so they were they were ready for us, and I really appreciated that. Yeah, I mean, I agree, the energy here, the history here, it's further away from my so like the anticipation to get here I was. It just didn't disappoint for sure. It's an even longer flight for you than me. I mean I flew it was like nine hours from Florida overnight. Oh you guys, that adds like another. Five or six hours to that plus the time change.

2:18 So yeah, it must be really like our You don't even know what time you're in right now. Right you're finally caught up because we've been touring Europe and we did Germany and Czech Republic. But yeah, when we first it took us three four days to feel like we were in a time zone. That made sense, right. I tend to what I do is before I leave the US, I like put myself in this time zone, like it's like I'll live life as like I'm already here. That's smart, right, Yeah, that's some good preparation. Something you're drinking a bunch of strong bow or what. Or some medicine, and so tell us what else you got going on after this?

3:04 We have a lot of music coming out. Oh, I guess I'm allowed to say. Hey, being that way, like, can't say much. We have a lot of music. We just dropped our first song I Feel Everything last May. But we do plan to come back to the UK. We're hoping hopefully for next year. But yeah, there's we're playing ship Rocked in America. I love it. Yeah, I just did for the first time this year. They kept asking me to do. I'm like, uh no, I know, Okayick. We're playing January twenty twenty six. I'll tell you what. I love ship Rocked. I'm ready. It's like the coolest shit ever and every ours love ship rock. I've been hearing so many good things about it. So that's something we're looking forward to early next year. But we're gonna have a lot of music coming out before then, so everybody will be ready for some new stuff, all.

3:50 Right, So tell them how they reach out to you to find out about everything that's coming up. Holy Wars Music we have our own Holy Wars Music dot com, but we're also on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, Apple, Pandora, you name it, we're there. Cool Ain. Final words you want to give us from the Golden Retriever just gratitude. Thank you so much. I mean, it's amazing to travel. So far over the world and see familiar faces, and just thank you for having us. Thank you for listening my pleasure, thanks for being here, and thanks for being on the Adventures of pipe Man.
