04 Hey, you have done to censure? See wow, crazy you. Why become America. It's time for the Adventures of white Man on W four c HY dot com. West Palm Beach is number one internet radio station. Here's your host, the HiPE Man. Go up the bass up, yo, got that. Talk about the jo stops?

52 Yo? Get stop because it's the pipe man. Here on the bunch was fight Man W four c Y Radio and I'm here with. Nice. I have a story for you before we start. So Thursday night, I was walking out of here and I was going around that corner there and I heard something that sounded really, really good. And then I looked, I'm like, holy shit, looking at you all bouncing up and down, and so I even have like I have coverage of your show outside.

34 That was bad ass. He well, that was fun. That was a lot of fun. And then I was like, I was saying it right by the U haul and I watched you guys kept pushing each other out to start the pit and it was so much fun. That is to me, that's the old school ship. That was the real deal, right. And then you know, it's funny because at first I thought you were not their band. When I was far away to say, do that shit, silly goose, Yeah, because that's how they got on the Danny Wimmer Festival doing exactly that. Yeah, how did you get on Danny Wimmer Festival? Well, we were crashing after Shock for a while. We actually we've. Been doing the We had a bud, we had an ambulance, a bus, three buses, and then now we're doing U hauls.

20 I like the ambulance. Yeah, the ambulance was really cool. That was like the primitive version of what we're doing. We just kept grinding. They just kept grinding, grinding, were playing outside of after Shock, all the stadium shows. But like for some reason, for for the longest time, no one was like knowing about us, but like people on the streets to would know about us. So when it finally like we made it on the internet, it was like, goddamn right those guys, So that's how we got it. And then they just kept offering us ship. So I love it because that's such old school ship, Like from where I come from, that's what bands did, exactly what you're doing, and bands like you, yeah, are bringing it back and that swept music, so you know that that's the true grassroots stuff right there, and you had a huge crowd out there last on Thursday night.

11 Yeah, it was unbelievable. It was crazy how things been playing out. You know. It's because like we weren't like really like making content creating or like trying to be like an internet person. We're just gonna like, we just gonna play a show. And it's gonna be good, and then like people gotta post it, and you you would never hear me talk to the camera, only had interviews because. I want to be a real band. Yeah, but yeah, yeah, that's how that's our formula. That's that's why we're here. So how does it feel playing at Louder than Life inside. Well, it's amazing. First of all, it's our first like for the longest time, we never opened up for a big band in our local scene or anything like that.

53 And then the promoters are just never gave us a shot. But we will we will take them by playing outside and then like still no one who was still giving us a shot, and now like the festival people are trying are getting to know who we are. It feels really, really really good. That's how Danny Wimmer like, that's how he rolls like he discovers bands like you and gives him the opportunity that you can't get anywhere else. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, like everybody in our hometown is gonna be like kind of pis that we're playing big shows now, I know, right, Like I was knocking on their door for so long. You deserve it. You deserve it because that's a tough life. Yeah okay, and you gotta really to me when you're doing that, you're a true musician because only true artists would do stuff like that, and you're doing for the right reason for the music.

45 Yeah, we saw the game in our local scene, like I said, like there's a lot of politics involved, and like you gotta know who's who, and we were just about like screw that. We're just gonna be really good. It is undeniable, so you better give us what. This is what you deserve. So that's all we're doing, and I think that's why we're here. And you had like such a following, So how did it also shock you that you had a huge following here inside playing so early? It was surprising to me, But I shouldn't be surprised though, because we've been grinding really hard, nice well, I'm so surprised, Like, bring me down to the ground outside they'll get too cocky.

25 So I got a story for you that you like and it's related to what you do. I was at the first Slayer show ever, and then when Slayer and Metallica's first show ever, and when they left LA and went up to Bay Area and left us with all the fucking crap. Bands in LA. Me and my bro used. To hitchhike up to the Bay Area Wow to go to the classic shows. And one of my favorite all time ever band, well, Slayer is yeah, and one of my other favorite all time ever bands. If I didn't go up the area at Bay Area, I probably went't known was Exodus. Gary Holds. That's the man, bro, That's what I say. Like Gary Holt like kind of like took a shine to you guys.

11 Yes, Like that man is very cool. I mean even have a song with him, that's how cool he is. How did that happen? We were we were. Working with the same producer and like our producer was like, you guys are gonna come up. We should probably get Gary hold in one of your songs. And this is after like we we got hit by a truck and we lost the first bus. We got tot old and everything, and then like we were just built regrouping and like going to the studios writing songs about that. And then Gary Hill showed up. It was like, let me rip a solo and then I'll do it. Then we'll talk about it details later. Well I'll do it, and he did it. That's the one thing about our community is people on the outside think we're all the tough, mean people.

55 Gary Holts like one of the nicest guys ever. Yeah. Yeah, and he always says hi to us, like he came out. It comes out to like when we whenever we get to see him in a convention or like concert whatever. And his wife is super nice, Lisa. That's way cool. Yeah. I love stuff like that. Yeah, because really it's those people that keep you a musician, because if you meet your idols and your dicks. I still get pretty nerded out right, but I still don't know what what to say sometimes, but yeah I get to. But but he's nice about its being like, oh, who are you talking to me? And that's that's why I love about this community. And the coolest thing is because he was pretty much like the leader of the band, right, Like I've met some of the members, like at a different time, but when he came up to us, his band members and crew came with him, and that was the coolest shit ever.

50 And every time I see them when they go tour with different bands or like I see them at venues, they always say, what's up now? That's the coolest shit. And like he actually helped us get our ESP endorsement too. Wow, Yeah, because. Like he was the endorse by the ESP sign and shine a light on us and like from there he has been reached out to us. That's so cool because he doesn't have to do that. So it tells you at a lot about how he looked at you and also says a lot about your talent. Thank you, sir? Are you? I don't remember because it all swirls in my head. You guys playing after Shock too? Yeah, we're playing after Shock. So that'll be like almost hometown for you, right, Yeah.

31 There's gonna be like our homecoming show. That's official because we haven't played the venue there in like years. I love after Shock. Yeah, it's a fun festival. We played a lot in the parking lot and the gas station. The last couple of years it has been super. Fun and that's so cool. I think this time is gonna. Be like a big deal because like one of the locals probably got on I know, and we're like the only SF man wow on. That on that bill, so wow, hi five for us. I love it. Yeah, how do people reach out to you on socials? On the web? Buy your merch? All that good? The merch you can go to Savage People dot net. It's our business and it has our like you can also get order some custom prints have skirt printing shop, so that's that.

18 Social media. Just send us an email however you can, or a DM any platform. We're always on it. I manage all of it. It might take a few days, like respond, but it's all me and I'm busy, so yeah, and I'll respond. You're busy playing parking lots all over the United States. Yeah, we were doing that twenty day. Besides Aftershock and Lower than Live, We're doing all renegade shows, all shows. I love it. Yeah, So it's gonna be fun. It's a lot of workout too, because like loading in and out and all that stuff. No doubt, and it's a lot of it's a lot of work to just play that much.

58 Yeah, people don't. They think it's all fun and it is fun, but it's hard. Yeah, it's hard work. And plus like there's days where like we're doing eight or ten hour drives. Yeah, you know, that's the cool thing about what we're doing though, because like we don't have we don't have load in time, we don't have a schedule. We just show by the end, I know, right, and so we can't take our time driving to one place to another. There you go, but it's still a long drive. Is there anything else you want people to know about your band or anything upcoming that we haven't discussed already. Yeah, I just want to let everybody know we're like an independent band. We do everything ourselves, from the merged production to design to like the music production everything. So like anything that you got anybody like buy from us or like support us, it's all like genuines from us.

42 And I just want to they say thanks to everybody, everybody who's been like in this journey with us. It's been a really trippy couple of years. Well I want to say thank you for being that louder than life outside and. Inside outside again tomorrow, when are you. I want to after. After always after. We want to be respectful for all the bands. I'll be there because I was having fun the other night, like yeah, you guys are badass. And thank you for being on the Adventures. Bye. Thank you for listening to the Adventures of Tatemn on w for c u I Radio
