04 Hey, you love them too, sus Sure, I'm come from four see Wow, Wake up America. It's time for the Adventures. So pipe Man on W four cy do com West pom Beats, his number one internet radio station. Here's your host, the pipe Man, Shoup jow book that's what share Shaw Sure Josh every book scratch. This is pipe Man here on the Adventures pipe Man W four c Y Radio. And I'm here with hid Press on call and I'm at nice here at Bloodstock. Oh my god, is this amazing or what? Yeah, it's an annual event for us, So it's good to be and be playing this year. There you go. I love it. And we got good weather at least today today, perhaps not tomorrow. Yeah, but yeah, listen, it came for you. The good weather came over you. So tell our listeners a little bit about your music, not in the respect of a genre, but in the respect of you as artists. How you describe your music. Well, I think we describe its slightly differ. It's a bit of a collective of a sort of a bit of death, a bit of sort of hardcore stuff, whatever comes

38 out in a way. Really we don't sort of put ourselves into a pockets of what we are and we just rites and it is what it is. If we like it, we like it. And that's why I say it that way because I hate freaking genres because everybody wants to box you in, and you're an artist, it's expression, play whatever you feel, you know, and that changes exactly or day to day, you know. Like I remember being a teenager and I would go to Slayer shows on a Friday night and Dead Show on Saturday. That's how I recuperated at the Dead show. So yeah, and today I say this a lot. But today, with so many bands out there that are locked in these genres and use like these formulas to make their music, it all sounds like the same shit. So band like you, that's just playing what you feel and blending whatever makes you unique and stand out, And to me, that's better music. Lots of volume, that's right, I'm all about volume. Funny story, I was doing covering a show a couple of weeks ago, and I brought my brother, who is not a metal head, and he was like complaining, like, oh my god, the bass. I feel like I'm having a heart attack. I'm like, dude, you're lucky. Normally I sit up by the subwaer. I love this shit, you know, and it's like, how do you stand up by the subwayer? I just love it. I love feeling the music, not just hearing it. Well, I could tell

12 you a story when we played in Antwerp, we actually got locked down by the police after two songs because of volume. And we were playing in a basement, playing in a basements. We've gone over there for three or four dates and Dick had to the fucking left off here thoughts ad max it more than you can max it, and we got shut down after two songs by the police. I love it. Did you hear about what happened that download? So? Oh yeah, wow? There was a lot a lot in the press want there from like sort of local residents about the volume and stuff. Fifteen miles away there were complaints that Metallica was too loud. Yeah, well, I reckon you could have heard him about fucking seventy miles away that now it's to be it was a bit excessive for for monest you know what, there is no such thing like look at look at Motorhead like they were like the loudest ever, you know. And I even stood up against subwa vers that motorhead. My brothers like, how do you even hear anymore?

15 I don't even have hometown. There you go, I love it? And did you see did you go into the art gallery right out here before? We've been before. We've only just really got into the arena to be bad. So did you see have you seen before? There's a Lemmy thing in there? You know it's got it's got like a base that's really freaking cool, And go, look, I can't I don't even want to tell you anything because you need to have what I had, that element of surprise, like, holy fucking shit, that as cool as shit. So well, you guys got new that we want to talk about the let the listeners know of what's going to become in the future, what they have to look out for, what they need to get from you guys music wise and all that.

08 Well, we we would do to play here last year, but we had to pull out a very last minute. But so we had we released a video last year there was outlines. Since then, we've been I've been personal things going on, so we haven't been contributed. We've still got songs in the pipeline. We've got plans for videos. We hope to get something close to an album released that though it used to be eluding us a little bit, which is okay because most people want songs nowadays. Yeah, what we've operated the last few years songs videos, just keeping it fresh and the way we write as well, that sort of suits us in a way.

51 Yeah, so we keep it sort of that well. And what often anyway, you know, what you made me think of is like, because I'm old school, so a lot of times I'll talk about, well, I missed the days of you know, just putting an album on, putting your headphones on and listening to the whole thing with kids don't do nowadays. But then you had a great point because all those albums are Sometimes there would be like a couple of good songs and the rest were fillers, and it's like, I gotta listen to this, and you did because you paid money for it, so you listen to it and you ended up enjoying them. True too, I mean I'm a massive maiden fun right. Actually, if you go through that Bot cotsologue of the albums, even though I love them, does some bucket Bot songs on every every album's got at least two a free that saw well, we're gonna fill this with lie boh. Yeah exactly.

42 So the way you're doing it to me, it's like your best song every time because you're playing your focus on that the energies exactly. And funny story, I was asking another band about tattoos today and I was just looking up at your hat and I talked about the tattoo that I wanted to get that I'm kind of thankful I didn't get now. And when I was a teenager and it was two tattoos, New York hardcore and LA Hardcore. There it is there, it is New York called cold tattoos I was doing. Yeah, so I was gonna get on one risk New York hard I wanted that.

29 But now I'm like, well, I'm kind of glad I didn't get, but it is kind of badass. I should have, but you know, I don't live there. Abers, I was like, well, what's up? Well, and then you guy explained the ship and they don't understand anyway. But I was gonna get New York hardcore on one arm and LA Hardcore on the other because that was the height of those like that symbol that you have was everywhere. So that was cool. I looked up. I was like, oh shit, literally just talked about it. That's wild. So tell everybody how they can connect you on socials, on the web, get your music, check out tour dates, buy merch all that good stuff.

13 So all the normal sort of platforms like Spotify, Apple, mousiez, YouTube, We've got the videos on there, some live stuff on there, merchs, a bunk camp, we've got some stuff on there. Or to be honest, come to a fucking show and come buy a T shirt from us. That's right, and let's go to old school. And if they don't do that, they can't listen to my show. That's it. Yeah, it's ear one story, good or bad, that's happened in your musical thing life that you will remember at eighty years old and want to share with people. Hopefully this hopefully that's the best. Well, let's make that act.

56 In fact, we'll just get everybody. Everybody's got a clear out of press tent. You all gotta go to the show. Everybody's gonna go to the show and fucking tear it up. I love it. Any final words you want to give our listeners that we haven't talked about that. They need to know about you guys. Come support shows, support local bands. At the end of the day, that's where it all starts. Absolutely, the UK metal stuff is, it's on fire at the minute. So you go go sport your local buns because their their qualities. Local buns are they get cover buns right, And you know what the UK has always been it okay, so well it's a teenager first of all. I sent a priest made in all that stuff before we had real metal, you know, and then it was our martsol punk. So it was always my dream to go to London to the whole punk scene. And I didn't do it then, but I did interview Discharge at Bloodstock last year's Wave from Me Yet, I interviewed Exploited. I interviewed Watty at what was It Punk Rock Bowling in the States.

11 I got fired up man during the interview and they were going on stage right after the interview, I'm like, so, waddy will you think about pop punk? And I knew the answer. Oh he went off and led on stage. He started going off on the crowd about pop punk. It was so fucking funny. Yeah, exactly. And then I interviewed calling at GBH in this place that I wouldn't even go in Florida. It's like this little tiki bar in like the worst place of Florida. And so I'm talking to about and I said something about, so, how does it feel playing here in Florida, Because well, one day you're playing to a million people in Mesopotamia. Next day you're playing to a bunch of people and some teaky bar. And already we'll do it. There we go, We're plate I love it. I love it. Well you guys rock Welcome to Bloodstock, and thank you for being on the adventures of this month. Thank you for listening to the Adventures of plate Man. I'm W four CUI Radio.
