48 Don aryall or this is the pipe Man here on the Avengurans pipe Man W four c Y Radio And I'm here with CJ. From Drowning pool Pools, Drama Pools, but today it's on point. It was a great show man. Oh man, it was. I was lucky enough I was in here and I could hear you loud and clear in fact over some interviews, which was great. So I turn my amp up kind of lou because I'm getting little deft z. So I had to crank that ship up. Oh. I like it loud and I like it as the background music for other interviews.
29 Yeah, we got slive over here. I'm like, Bobby, be quiet, man, I'm trying to talk. Bye. Bobby's great man. I love some love dude. Awesome. Oh yeah, ho'sually weeken going dry today? Huh? When I get rained on Today's Today? You know, we get blamed every time we play a show is drounding pool and it rains that day. We get blamed for it because there's a name. So I'm glad we brought some sunshine and you're life. Yeah, because this is the best day. Today's it's been dude, Today's one of the great days. We You know, this is how my band works. This is how we work in Drying the Pool. We don't have like a set list every night. We're like the Grateful Dead. Now we have some of the songs and catalog and we keep changing things up last minute, where drops our crew guys in their rails crazy because they never know we're gonna do. But you know, I want to keep it fresh every night.
10 It's like it's the fans, the field, the vibe of the of the show. So the thing we said we were not going to do last night, We're not going to stay up and party and drink. We just have to play early. And what do we do a three o'clock in the morning. Excited to come here? Our bass player Stevie Ban goes, hey, man, why don't we play cowboys some Hell? Okay, let me just not warm up it just maybe come on, man, So I warm my good luck, Dim shirt and I looked up and you see it. I love it. It's like, dude, tell me, we do so. I feel like he's telling me I'm doing this sole He goes yes, yes, yes, no, no no no, it's a pull up, it's a side. Come on, squeeze. It's all about again this show and bringing the metal. And we had a great show. I haven't heard at the end. You did a little quiet Riot.
52 We did a hats all quiet right, the first metal band of Sell the Mating Records. All the love and respect. Dude, absolutely. I saw them at the US Festival nineteen eighty three. Dude, really, dude, dude a LUWQUI right, man, they dude, they changed another band that was influenced. Man, they just brought the metal early on. Dude. Yeah, totally mental health and job may bang ahead, son. Then bang your head. That's the anthem. Jeremiah Shining Hippee one of my favorite bands too. Man. Oh yeah, they's just every great band here at Louder today. I wouldn't say every single band we've toured with, but most of the bands here we played with at some point. And and the other thing about today that I love we get to do our thing. But I get to catch up with with you know, a bunch of our best friends that we haven't seen in a while, like Saliva, Hippie, just because they're here. Yeah, in front of my face.
39 But dude, it's Today's Today's a great day. Man. That sucks raining the last weekend, but we appreciate the fans sticking in it, sticking out. You know. We had a show last week. We did Pouring Down ray Man, and we just we did it. We play it, we all we all get wet together. There it is there, it is, get wet together. We all gets rock and roll right away. Metal makes me a little wet ever down in come. Up, that's right, that's right now. You guys playing after Shock too, right. We're doing after Shock as well. Man, have you played after Shock before? You know? Right now you ask me these questions and I drink and you don't know, you know, I didn't have the food yet. Well it is. It is a bourbon town and a bourbon festival, so I've had I've done this like every year for the past ten years. I've done Bourbon Beyond. Yeah, and I can tell you that I've gotten the best interviews about from these festivals because of Bourbon Bourbon.
33 Yeah, and we're working on Asdranna Pool Berbon. We just got a new beer that came out really, Dynah Pool Revolution Beer. We just did from. Rollertown right before we left the house and we was getting out in production. And because you know, why not, man, we love to be I love the whiskey, I love the bourbon, and we have one coming out working with Andrew and Tko getting that rolling along. So we're gonna have a Dranna pul Burbon. What's gonna be unique about yours? Well, you know, the the Amazing family have Anata and Neils your Auto are putting stuff together. They're mixed. I didn't know they were mixologists when it comes down to that. So we're gonna be working with them. Mary is Harry is over here. We were looking for you. I was trying to do my best. I'm Ryan McCombs and John f I was trying to say, I was trying to do your parts.
18 Here you go. I already answered everything, but started off. You're done and we're not at We're not at the day telling the speedway. But hey, there's got a lot of loud bounce around here. There is there is. So I got to catch a little part of your set from back Hero's telling him and it was so loud that I got it as background for other interviews, right right. I think that's fucking badass, because. What you're saying is we messed up your other interviews. No, you made it better now. I don't have to pay my engineer to do any kind of background that it is. It's already, isn't it telling the background? You got Revolution? That finally, am Amen?
59 Amen? Yeah, that was what we haven't talked about yet. That was gonna bring up. Let's talk about the new song. It was. It was fun man, being back with these guys again, right, and it was awesome to come up with Revolution. But there's so many more songs waiting to be done. I mean, we've got so many different different tunes and everything like just waiting to We actually have our producer coming. Out on this tour that we're on right now because we don't have time. We don't have any time, so we're bringing him out to actually capture some of the ideas that we have and everything while we're on the road. And I can't wait to get some of this new music out there. It's it's yeah, they're the excitement of you know, rhyme being back and the connection that we have. We always had a great writing relationship and a friendship, and you know, this last year we've been playing shows and just capturing that energy, capturing all that and putting that in music in a song.
55 Man. That's why we can't wait to get it out. We're on fire them and as an artist, you want to do new shit. Like people don't realize that. Like it's like you're like bored to death if you can't write new ship. We're still gonna give you what you want to hear and what you love. But you know we're gonna throw that new song on every now and then. And Revolution fits right in with the mix. I mean, it's the core sound of Jarnapo with Brian's distinct one of a kind real boys. Come on, I'm trying. With what you were saying though, you're absolutely right man. It's we're giving this gift to be able to do this as a job, and we need it because it's a release. It's a way to get out our.
35 Frustrations, our joys, our our emotions. Is to be able to put it into music and be able to be given the gift, to be able to still be doing that this many years into it, because people are still giving us the time of day. It's an amazing fucking present every day that we wake up. Man, it's awesome. I love that. Actually, we're have with a crowd today. Man. It was insane and I'm in awe of. People artists like you that can still write new stuff. I would like to think to myself, man, how do you keep doing it after all those years? And it amazing now, I mean, we. Haven't you know, we reconnected. You know, it's been a good thirteen years since we've been writing again, and then a lot of stuff's going on all our lives. Man, we have a lot to write about, you know. We write what we feel what's going on at this time.
25 It's a lot going on and planet Earth, man, which is why revolution. Oh you mean to play and that's what we do. It's yeah, it's expressing out. I feel that's the gift, is being able to get out what we have building up inside of us. Every day. Yeah, it's it's. Being I mean I'd be locked up with some insane asylum right now, but wasn't for the fact that I was able to actually express my emotions and my feelings in music. So every day is something new. Every day we wake up and something something twist your nets is the wrong way, and music allows us to get that out. And to your point, let me tell you what happened recently, because true for the ors, true for the fan, like, that's the way we get It's the best therapy there is.
07 So Sunday because they didn't play it lower in life, but Sunday I got to see Slayer. I had some bad shit going on recently, so I left all that bad ship in the Slayer. Pit, even the pit many you're staying about metal, like like it's sometimes it's called the heavy metal workout, or just like it's it's going. You come out of here and you get that out and depends and you can get on with your lives being happy, right because you know it's it's frown upon. You know. I think it saved me from going to jail because the next day I was flying out here for this and I'm sitting the airport about to charge my AirPods. I haven't charged and they're plugged in. Dude next to me doesn't say anything, doesn't ask pulls my charge out and puts his it people. Oh, if it weren't for that Slayer Pit, I was going to jail because I knocked the shit out of him. I was already a bad mood before a slayer you would have done that, I would have gone over the fucking top and forgot I was at airport and that would have been in I wouldn't be here with you right now. But the Pit saved me.
13 Yeah, that's so much about there's so many different aspects of life, of everyday life. The Revolution speaks to me. The New Song speaks to me with is that like every day we live, we're dealing with a society now. The things that are making a difference. If they that they post a meme on social media and. Everything instead of actually standing up and saying, man, stuff is messed up. Yeah, you know, like when it was the last time you held the door open for somebody and they actually said thank you. Oh wait, I get the opposite, like they get Matt, I can do it myself. Well, I know you can do it yourself. I'm just being nice.
54 Friends and family. Right to this day. I'm always yes, sir, no ma'am, No matter how old person is because it's respect. Oh yeah, I said it to somebody yesterday. Kid was like, what twenty and he helped me with something. I'm like, thank you, sir. You know it has nothing to do with age. Let's do it respect, respect and being nice together. We have to look at it as a planetary thing and not like a different culture and country and religion and freaking government. It's like, we have to come together and just the life is hard, it's built to fail, It's it's there to take you down. So like, let's help each other out when we get man. Absolutely no better words. And that's what music does, and that's what this rock metal family does because when we're here, we're all united.
39 The whole world could take a lesson from rockers and metal heads. Cool as you come to rock show, every right, you know what do just come to the rock show and see what we do here that part of it. Man, be part of the family. I have this idea that basically we should just take everybody in the world that's at war, fighting and everything else and put on one huge festival with everybody there. Sit down and look, let's go to happy hour, Let's have a drink, let's talk about these things. Put the guns down. Let's what do you want? You want? You want? He's a bread, you want some apples and oranges? Look, I got some shrimp. What do you guys? You got some Tomalley's, Let's trade them. I'm good. I vote Drowning Pool for president. Twenty twenty four, Ryan went.
19 So you can, you can't make a difference. We went to Capitol Hill where year was at, and we helped pass the Lanes Evans Bill, which helps our troops get bettermental health care. You can. We had fifty thousand of our fans soigned petition, and you can make that. It's still I mean, it's hard, but you can still like there's still some freedom left. Man, gotta believe in it. Yeah, ay about rioting or any of that shits, but actually making a difference, man, actually getting off your ass and getting away from the computer and actually speaking and making a difference. I love it. That's where it should be. That's why it's revolution, the final amen. If we just have one more where the revolution, My revolution is like happy hour. Let's sit down from four to six. I like it, and we sit down and we talk about stuff, have a drink, and then solve all the worst problems in those two hours, and then we're good.
05 Right, I'm great, that's it. I feel good. Here we are and now we got just solved. We just solved all the worst problems around the pool. There it is drowning pool. That's official. Now drowning Pool has now saved the world. Ryan mccoms the President, dual citizenship and everything. Thanks guys for being here, louder in life, and thanks for being on the inventures pipe Man, pipe Man. Thank you again. Thanks for having us, thank you for keeping us all together.
