Hey, you have then too censure. I'm for see wow for you young whycoume America. It's time for the Adventures of white Man one W four C why dot Com West pomp Beach is number one internet radio station. Here's your host, the white Man. Fuck you want the crown because at least out of sexsode Lawsky. Come just go and leave me alone. That's a game that we like to play. Who sackbut everyone tax bussis on fat that's said. This is the pipe Man here on the Adventures pipe Man W four C Y Radio. And I'm here with Jack and Jack and we're in dead Boat Society. Nice, you're here at Welcome to Rockville. Man, So is this the first time you've been into Rockville? This is our second time playing? Nice? When was the last time? Three years ago? Was it that long years ago? It was in Daytona then right? Yeah? Yeah, okay, yeah, it's because it used to be in Jacksonville. Yeah, So I have a right off the bat, I have a trivia question for you. Now. I'm asking all the bands. Let's see if you know, why are those seats colored to make it look like there's people in them? Oh? You are brilliant. Nice. You're like one of the only ones that got it, like right off the bat, no thinking, no hesitation. I think somebody said it earlier today, right, say, there you go. You got to drive through the speedway. Yeah it's pretty that is that unreal or what it's like? I never realized how steep the thing was, right, It's like you see it on TV. It doesn't look like you know, you have to go at least eighty miles per hour to even stay on that one. Yeah, I have a I have a jeep moob Yeah, no matter what mile per hour, it's tipping over on that. Yeah. Yeah, we got a high roof, right, yeah, no good. But sometimes on the highway it feels like it's about to flip over exactly. And I have my skateboard with me. I keep wanting to go ride it out there. But then I heard about somebody got a permanent band for life from the venue. Do it right? You won't I did? I did ask Christine last year. I'm like, well, I lose my credential if I take my skateboard out on the wall. And it's like I wouldn't do that, Like, okay, I won't till after the festival exactly after Slipknot tonight. Yes, let's do it during Yeah, but then i'd miss Slipknot. Well, I have to get pumped up in the pit first, and I'll be like fuck it. Yeah. When you hit your peak in the pit, that's when you know to start sprinting for the for the road exactly. Yeah. So tell our listeners a little bit about who you guys are, what you're about, not genre bullshit, but you know, how you perceive yourself as artists, what your music's, how you would describe your music. We make rock music. I like that answer because to me, that's not a genre. Okay, rock is rock, Like there's like ten million micro genres, subgenres. It's all just rock. That's the way I look at So I love that answer that that like you, some people would think, well, no, I think rock is a way of life. It's not a genre. It's a way of life. It's a way of being an artist. And I think it's one of the most healing therapies there is. And considering it is Mental Health Awareness Month, I mean, I think this is our mental health therapy right here at Welcome to Rockville. Hell yeah, So how does it feel to play here compared to Rock Oklahoma, compared to other festivals? Like they're all Danny Wimmer Now, so, but which one's your favorite to play? Do you think? I don't know. I mean I like Rockville the most, probably because it's in the coolest venue I know, rightly imagine one, Like it's surreal to me, Like last night, it's a long walk around that thing. Last night, I missed a shuttle. I was down the farthest stage, so I'm walking backstage to get back here. I'm like Jesus, track never ends, and it's like it is just amazing to sit here doing interviews and seeing pictures people took pictures of being doing interviews and seeing that behind me, Like there's nothing more iconic than that, Like you do other festivals, Like there's I do download festival that's at a racetrack, But I have no idea on that racetrack when I'm at that festival. Yeah here, you know, yeah, you know it? Here? Did you happen to those two this year? They put sod out there? What sad out there? Sod? Like yeah, so instead of that hot pavement that you don't really want mash on because you're going to break your neck. Yeah, you got a nice cushion of sod when you fall on your ass. That's how it should be done. There, it is, so my head is swirling right now. Do you did your set array today? Did you do your set today? Array? Yeah? I've been stuck back here. Yeah. No, you're good, dude. Tell us about the experience with the set out there, because it's last day at a festival, kind midday. I bet you didn't expect it to be that crowded out there, did you. No. I mean, we never really know what to expect these festivals. We're starting to get more well known, so we know that there's gonna be a little bit of a crowd, but you just never know how big it's gonna get. Yeah, we got a pretty decent crub by the end of it. Yeah, and you got lucky with the weather because it's actually kind of cool for Florida. Yeah. I heard it was a sweatfest yesterday. It's Florida, And I think this is the first year I've done Rockinville, and I've done pretty much every Rockville that we didn't get evacuated because of a tornado. I say it was raining last time we were right right, So yeah, I mean I gotta tell you. I don't know if you know, but from what I know, this is probably the most attended Danny Wimmer festival ever in my opinion, from what just walking around like I see what's going on. So I imagine it was like crazy when you guys were playing, tell us a little bit about the experience and you know what you what you did that everybody missed? So that are you guys playing a Sonic Temple. Yeah, we are playing a Sonic Temple right, Yeah, okay, so we got to tell people what they miss so that when they listen to this, yeah, they got buy tickets and go to Sonic Temple and go your set. Yeah. Well it's just you know, it's chaos. I move my body too much on stage, a little too much on stage, so come watch that. And our bassist is basically doing is he's doing like what are those things? Suicides on the stage the whole time. And you know the music's good too. Suicide runs like from basketball. Yeah he actually doesn't play bass. He actually just has a basketball. That's he's doing suicides on stage all the time. That's great. I love it. Yeah, it's crazy. You should come check it out and tell me about your tat Let it Rattle, Let It Rattle. It's my favorite song of all time. It's by pos nice rapper from Minnesota. That's very cool. How many how many people that interview with you even no know the song or no know that that's what that means when they when they say you're not most people look at that. The secrets out tell everybody how they connect with you. On socials, on the web, buy your merch check out your music, all that good stuff. We are dps on all the socials and dead Pot Society everywhere else, on streaming YouTube wherever you go. Do you do any tiktoks? Sometimes? Is there any that are worth talking about that? You're like, now, no TikTok is worth watching dude, Right, yeah, we're like trying to do them and stuff like that. But it's just like it's just it's a weird world, right, freaking cheesy, and it's like we're trying to walk that fine line of like you want to you don't want to be like sitting there with a guitar and be like you didn't know you could do this with a guitar, And it's just like that would be shut that would be stupid, That would be stupid for sure. Yeah, we we do so well. You guys killed it here. Welcome to Rockville. You're badass. Everybody's got to check you out, and they have to go to Sarring Temple and go your set or they can't listen to my show anymore. There we go. Thanks for being on the Adventures pipe Man, Thanks man, Thank you for listening to the Adventures of Pipemin on w for CUI Radio.
