04 Hey you lovelan too. Cents. Sure, I'm on four see wow row, wake up of America. It's time for the adventure. So hype Man on W four CWY dot com. West Palm Beach is number one internet radio station. Here's your host, the White Man. Welcome to your side. They look any dog Jose pre scaring out of Hello you sass collyoo, pype Man W fours by Radio, and I'm here with Chris Daughtry. Hello, hello, nice here at Rock Oklahoma. Man, Oh, how's it field?

00 Awesome? Man, this is my first one. Were really Yeah. I do all kinds of festivals, and this is like one of the coolest festivals in the US. Yeah, you know, especially for the camping. I don't know if you gut been one. Sure, we've been wanting to jump on this thing for a long time. So we're excited to be here. Yeah. Yeah. I mean the fans here they're like no other. I mean, they're like so dedicated to this festival. Love, man, that's what we love. And I was out on the campground this morning. There's a lot of people out there waiting to see you. Awesome. We're excited to be seen, So tell us a little bit about you for those everybody should know you. But what do people don't know about you? What do they not know that they should know? God, maybe I like to keep that a secret. Maybe that's my I s I actually don't know.

48 I'm actually shocked at how much people do know sometimes, so I actually have no idea what they don't know. So what's what's the craziest story in this whole journey that you've been on? I don't even know if I could pick one. I am really boring when it comes to finding the most embarrassing moment or the craziest story, because I tend to forget all of it. Uh. Well, we uh, here's a crazy story from this tour. We uh we were getting a new bus and we got a call from the bus driver an hour later as it was headed our way from Nashville saying, stop payment because the bus is on fire and it's catastrophic. And they sent us pictures and it was like toast, Wow, that could have been us.

38 So that was a bullet dodged. I think the universe was watching out. All of a sudden, the old bus that we had didn't seem so bad. I know right that that would have been because there's a lot of bus stories. Yeah that are not good. So glad, I'm glad to know that no one was her or burned in that in that particular situation. And so what have you not accomplished that you still have said as a goal? Uh, well, Rocklahoma there it is. Check that off a Grammy would be nice, but not necessary. Would just be nice, nice to have under the tool belt. Not necessary, but it would be nice. We've been nominated, be nice to have that under our belt. But honestly, man, it would be awesome to to play stadiums one day. Nice just to see what that's like. Yeah, of course, And I'm sure like everybody else, it's like, oh, it's good to be back in the small rooms, you know, where it feels more connected and intimate. But would they want to be there, like for a year, Like it's good when it's a one off, but you know, let's let's just go for them stadiums. Way do you find out in COVID that some of your other passions are that you had a little time because of the lack of live music, Well, it was a huge that was a huge turning point for our trajectory. You know, that was for me when I realized that I wasn't

12 doing exactly what I wanted and and and got to really cultivate my vision a little more clearly musically speaking. But I got into building legos, and uh, we were doing gardening for a while and that got old really quick, by the way. But yeah, I mean there were all kinds of things we started taking up, Like we started we had our we had chickens, we were you know, I was like, what are we doing here? We turned into farmers overnight, I know, right, just find them something to make the time go by. Right, Well, tell everybody how they can reach out to you, and they should know. But on socials on the web, by your merge, yeah, at Daughtry and go on our LinkedIn, I mean LinkedIn, our linked tree page and it's got where you can get merch tour dates. Uh, sign up for our Patreon or you can hit me up directly on at Chris Daughtry. All right, cool, Well, man, I'm so glad you're here at Rocklahoma. Thank you so much for having me.
