04 Hey you have done to censure? Wow, pray you Why Coup America. It's time for the Adventures of White Man on W four c why dot Com West pomp Beach is number one Internet radio station. Here's your host, the. White Man Side.

45 See a Criminal Space, last things on all This song. Accounted Son in my for Honesty Will Memories. This is the pipe Man here on the Adventure Spike Man W four CY Radio Here at after Shock. If I have who you got? Roy and Adam from Capitol Theater. Nice you just played here after Shock. Yeah, but were you shocked at the crowd you had this early on a Friday? Yeah, yeah, midday everyone tuned up. We hit it. We hit it. We had a lot of people chilling out under the bridge as well. It was good. Well we were next to the bridge of the highway. Yeah. Yeah, that's what's cool about this venue.

32 It's like there's like trees you can hang out under, you can hand out under the bridge. If somebody wants to jump off the freeway, they can land right in the festival. It's a hell of a way to enter the mush pit. I know, right, would that be cool? Though? Like just swan dive off of the freeway into the mosh pit. Yeah. Yeah, you're badass if you're doing that. Yeah, but there is a thing that we were just talking about this earlier that people literally pull over on the side of the road and right there when the festival is going on to catch bands and cops have to like arrest them or something, probably cheaping then the ticket and hey, listen, there's a venue near mad that before I was a media you can literally stand right outside the fence. It would be opened a little bit and see the whole festival without having to walk inside and like why bother.

25 You know, we loved it. We had the same stage manager met risk you who did our stage when we saw you last in Florida and that was at Risky Stage. Yeah, it was great to can eat with him again. We will hype to see him again. Isn't that cool because normally you do these festivals and you're not using your own people, and who knows if there ain't good at your sound or what you need. Yeah, so it's good to go back. To doing another festival and run into the same person doing it for you. It's a great crew here. The after show, all the Tenny women guys, they just the slick man makes you feel, makes you feel like everything's in control. We just had to get out there and play on music and it was fucking great.

06 I love hearing that because all I ever hear from artists for years is how great Danny Wimmer treats the artists. And that makes all the difference because especially with festivals, Like. A lot of arts I talk to, they hate. Doing the festivals because how they may betrayed there compared to other places. The sound all kinds of shit show stuff, But not here at Danny Wimmer, No, not. These guys are the beast and that's why we play the festivals. Well, there you go, you know, otherwise you're like me. That last year was a non Danny Wimmer festival and I was holding down some band's tent while Hale was pelting me in the back and they were it was like Woodstock ninety nine. They were flipping golf carts and setting shit on fire. And yeah, that festival isn't around this year.

02 People behave badly when they're not treated like like adults, like respectable humans that we are. You know, no doubt, you work very hard at what you do, and it's so stressful to go play a show and not know what's gonna be. So it's better when you show up and there's no stress, Like, you don't need more stress. You're people don't realize. They think you're just having fun. There's a lot of stress to coming out and performing at a festival. There is. That's why it's very important to massurbate before a show, just to release as much stress as possible. I like the master bait before your show too. Yeah, no way, don't you do it during it? Well, it gets see a drill, it all pumped up for the pit.

43 You know. It's usually one before the show and one during the pipe man interview. There it is. See, I thought we weren't going to bring this interview down like we did last time. Well here's the thing. You can't really bring it down too far because one of the questions I asked about, like give me a story, good or bad, The most popular answer that I've gotten like six times is where an artist has shit in their pants on stage. So I would really welcome masturbating in the interview over shitting on stage. Now we've never done that. Now. Capitol Theater is a clean, sophisticated band we focus on an audio product and nothing of the fecal meta. Okay, but here's the question.

24 If you're while you're masturbating before your show, is there a Koala bear present and is that why they have chlamydia? Yes? And yes, Oh that's great. So what is it like like playing in New Zealand compared to playing in the States? List Koala is here? I mean to be honest, it's not Koala's in New Zealand, but we've got a few just of our sleeve there. No, I think it's obviously bigger. We have some festivals in New Zealand not very awkward, you know, rock orientated though, so just a different scale, totally different scale, different level of professionalism. I guess it's quite an experience coming in doing this.

10 And we don't have an r siege like shipping Koalas over to ruin your show. No, yeah, there's no. There's nowhere in New Zealand where you can get four big rock stages and however many bands there are, especially over four days. That doesn't happen in New Zealand. We get we get one big festival a year, which is one rock stage and amongst a whole bunch of others, yeah, and some other other kind of bigger shows, but nothing like this the scale that that the women guys bring to these. We did Rockville and Sonic Temple, but they're all massive. Four day shows and they're all different. So if you're going to go to as a festival, you should go all of them because they are all completely like different. Right, this vibe here in Sacramento, like, I love this place, Man, is a great place for a rock gig.

54 Man. Yeah, and you could go surfing like before and after the gig because it's not far from. The cup there. Remember we do something else before well the gig. Yeah, well no surfing, just associating surfing the internet. For the right for the right rubbin tug. They do have those in California too, So you know. What I was. Thinking though, is like it would be kind of cool if in New Zealand or Australia they put on a festival where the band is surfing and playing at the same time. I've thought about that because I do them down and hunging the beach and we're like right on the beach. I'm like, man, be cool. If I was able to be like out there surfing and watching the festival.

36 I thought, you mean on boards with their Wiley's scared. Not quite like I know what you're signing, and that would be fucking cool, man. Yeah, Like if you could. Put the go pro on the board and the go pro broadcast to the stage, that would be cool. That would be it. I'll be down for that. When you saw that out, let me know and I'll be here. I thought you guys were gonna sort it out so I could go watch. By the way, where do you get that jacket? That jacket's fucking cool as hell? Yeah, this is This is from a New Zealand brand called World and I wanted it to be a little bit brighter, but this was the brightest they had. Oh wait, hold on, Oh yeah it is. I had my sunglasses on it. It was like it was bright but not too bad. I took the sunglasses off, and.

22 We can run full security on this thing. Man. I can like point, I can point and you know, tell people what to do fucking all day. How do you sneak up on Slipknot stage tonight with that jacket? Well, I'll have my mask on. You know what, you could get it like a clown mask? Where that jacket just go up there before clown goes up and start playing. Yeah. Yeah, this is like because someone like Wizball and would would dig this ship. You know, it created an outfit around it. There you go, I love it. What what you guys got new going on that you want to tell people about? Well, we just released our second album not so long ago. Yeah, Major Round Can so yeah, it's obviously out on Spotify, up on all those places you can go find it.

05 But yeah, it's a pretty cool LP available too. So if you're fancy a little well. Yeah, if you like the Hero's Journey, you'll like the progression of Major Varcana. We recorded it again with Mike Clink in La and I'm East West Studios. We got a oh we we've got another interview. Oh that media manager over there. So yeah, go and check out Major Arcana. Have a list of some good songs on it. I like it better when they give you the wrap it up and not me the wrap it up. Yeah, usually they're looking at all right, so good to chat. As always, you gotta go fishing for some more interviews, but tell everybody they can reach you on socials on the web by your merch all that cool stuff.

46 Yeah sweet, So go to Capital Theater band on Instagram and Facebook, or you can go to capitoldesh Theater dot com and grab. Your merch from there. Nice. One last question, are you guys going to masturbate before the next interview? Just for you by I'll take you. Yeah, there you go. Well, thanks guys. It's always a blast and now I have a whole new respect for New Zealand. I didn't have much before. But really, we'll have to do this. In New Zealand one time. Yeah, go get your other interview. You guys rock and thanks for being on the Adventures of pipe Man.

27 Jeez. Thank you for listening to the Adventures of Pipe Man on w for CUI Radio.
