04 Hey, you love them too, that's sure. I'm come from four see why you wake up of America. It's time for the Adventures. So pipe Man on W four CWY dot com west poond beats his number one internet radio station. Here's your host, the White Man right store this, it's the pipe Man here on the Adventures. Pipe Man w for c Y Radio and I'm here with Nick and Matthew from blood from Bloody. Nice. See.

00 I like when the band say the name because sometimes you get cool shit like the last band they did it like this, you know, like so it's great and other bands off al Noa pronounced it. It works out well because I'm butchering her name. I'm gonna start off right off the bat to dispel this rumor that metal heads only wear black. We don't tell them what you're wearing. I've currently got on a bright pink Hawaiian shirt covered in pineapples and parrots. I love it too, and hey, it's indication and Sophie, so that's what's cool. I love that here too, Like I don't think I've been to any other festival, and I do all the vessels that gives so much dedication to just somebody that had a bad experience. Not It doesn't have to be somebody important, as we're all human. Absolutely, it's something that resonates with all of us because we've all experienced it to a certain degree.

07 Yeah, so it's something that's very close to our hearts, feel very attached to it, and we all stand behind it absolutely. And so tell the litters of a little bit about your music, not genre, because I hate genres, the blocks as artists like you have to play only this, you know, but you're an artist. You express yourself and that goes beyond genre. Lies absolutely very much the same thing, but not fun of genres. But the core part of Blood Chad, even from day one, was music that was energetic and fun. We want music that you can get up there and bang your head too, and so it doesn't matter to use genre. But whatever genre we're playing with, we keep it fun and energetic.

50 Everybody can get up and yeah shads, yeah, something that bang your head too. You know. You don't have to think about complicated times, niches or anything like that. Just just enjoy yourself. And that's key, I think, because as somebody in the audience, I look at a band if all they're worried is about the technical aspects of it. I'm kind bored because it's like they're looking boring to me. If they're passionate and they're having a good time, that portrays to us. And then weekend and I think it should be more about passion and less about right, absolutely, because well, I thought, we watched buns week in, week out, and when you're feeling their emotion, and we then kind of thought, well, we want to give that back. We want to make people feel the way we feel, and that's what we like feeling when we watch guns. So it's just about keeping that psychle going. Yeah. Absolute. And so we're here at Bloodstock. We have actually decent weather, which is shocking, and man, how does it feel like like this energy that we have here? Yeah, if you know, if you can describe it. I mean, everybody's just so friendly. Everybody's here for the same reason I have a few drinks listening to some good music. Yeah, And that's what it's all about. Absolutely,

25 And that's why I love this festival. Because I have all the festivals, I feel this one is such a family. Yeah, it's the best way to describe it. It's like we're all here for one purpose, and that is to love one another, enjoy music, have fun, and forget the rest of our bullshit going on around the world. And even in all the build up to the festival, it's always people going, we're going home in a few weeks. Yeah, everybody, We're coming home in the next couple of months. And that is truly what it feels like. You come here, there's no bullshit, there's no people judging each other's We're all here to get drunk with heavy music and have a good time. That's it.

09 You know. It's funny because I do all these festivals, and a lot of them in the United States, and I love being here because I just find that everywhere I walk around, somebody saying hello to me, and that doesn't happen everywhere, especially in the States. We're fucking assholes. Were were good because, like we play a lot in the North and you meet people, you make friends, and you see the same basis that you're doing it. Then you get here and they're all here too, yeah, because they've come as well. Love it were So where you got new going on that we want to tell the listeners about. So our new album came out last month, Well, distilled aggression and yeah, it's going down really well.

50 We love it. Yeah, it's harder, faster, heavier than what we've done before, and we had. The reception has just been incredible, even worldwide. You know, there's Australians and Americans buying the album and nice, mind blowing, but we love it. So when are you going to come over to States and do a festival? Then as well, let's make that happen. That's why I'm saying that I'm putting it out there for all the powers that be. They need to book you on some festivals and the stake. Through the streaming services, you get email reports telling you where people have been listening to it. We have Daytona Beach, We've aout Wisconsin. We've about CDs going out to wind the holes. All right, so Daytona Beach, you should be playing Rockville then, which I do that one? I live in Florida and Wisconsin they have rock Fest so need to do that one too. Well, there you go, there you go. What's something interesting that you want the listeners to know about you guys that it's not like the typical thing or the typical thing, and interview something like maybe you know are said in an interview before whoa you see that makes it more interesting? Then how do you get your band name? Right? Absolutely? I think what did? I'd like? The interesting fact about us is it lyrically and even through the music because myself and Donna the singer huge bookworms, but sit and

23 read all day, so a lot of our influence with our music and say Donna's lyrics, it is book driven. Got songs based on Stephen King books, We've got songs based on me. I'm a fan of the First Low trilogy by a guy called Java Brombie. So it's like, as I'm reading those books or listening whatever emotion that's evoking with me, try and transfer that to the music. And then Donna, being a very similar reader that I am, we all like the same books. We can often work together and almost make our music and appreciation of the literature that we're reading nice. I love that, you know why? I love that because they're again another misconception about metal heads. I was in high school. I wore my leather, my denim vests with the patches, sunglasses, long hair, spikes, and I was in the geek classes with all the pocket protect their geeks and they all used to cheat off of my papers. But hey, metal heads don't read. They're just like blah blah blah. Yeah, absolutely, so keep going on there. Yeah, different, you're not just singing about war and death and yeah, the usual tropes. It gives you a different hung Well not only that, but okay, so how many pop bands sing about things in books? But yet there's lots of metal bands like Iron made in almost all of their music, all their catalog since Bruce has been it is about

56 books, you know, and there's a lot of bands like that, including yourself. So that's why I think we stress on that. So that was a good thing to pick to talk about because we need to change the perception of the metal. Although a friend of mine in a band we're talking about, he's like, nah, let's just keep them scared so you know they don't come. And there's nothing wrong with that, and if you can mix the two even better, that's right. It's always got a little bit a little bit of outlaw about it, all right, So tell everybody how they connect you on socials, on the web, get your music at the new album by your merch because that's the only way you survive all that good stuff.

39 So Instagram is blood blood Yard six six six. Same is the Facebook. We're on Spotify, Apple Music, most streaming services. To search a blood yard, you'll find us there. And then, if you'd really like to help us out by buying merch, we've got our blood yard at band Campaige. Get on there and we'll get it sent out. We do ship worldwide, so go for it. I love that because they can't listen to my show if they don't buy your merch. They're banned from listening if they don't buy your merche ball ball Well, thanks for being here at Bloodstock and thanks for being on the Adventures. Absolute pleasure. Thank you for listening to the Adventures of Fate Man. I'm W four CUI Radio.
