04 Hey, you love them too? Sure? Why wake up of America. It's time for the Adventures of Pipeman on W forcy dot com. West Poon Beach is number one internet radio station. Here's your host, the White Man. Why because since the pipe Man here on the adventure in spipe Man W forcy Y Radio and I'm here with John, I've heard soon from the rock Orchestra of Avatar. The drummer nice, the badass drummer. Oh thank you.

00 So here we are at download the twentieth anniversary and uh man, the first thing I have to say about that is how do you guys perform in this heat? That was challenging, But it wasn't the worst, and that was always considered before entering the stage, like it's been worse. Yeah, this was not the worst. So it was pretty cool. I mean, like, we played only for thirty minutes. You know, there's so many bands on this fest of all, so they're really cramming everything. So I mean like we just walked into today with a ramone st attitude. I love it. I don't know if you saw the show, Like I couldn't get eye here. I was watching up there though, stuff like all right, so everybody. We decided in advance, like when are we gonna take the jackets off? And everybody took the jackets off at the same time. You know, just stuff like that. Stupid stuff like that, but that is you know, that makes a cool show when you when you're not able to do a ton of fire or fireworks, you know, then then you've got to do that little stuff instead, and and sometimes the audience appreciates that even more. Yeah, the audience was on fire pretty literally because they had a son in the heist, so they had it worse than we had it.

21 Well, you guys always put on great show. And one of the things I love about you guys is Okay, it's music, obviously, but to me, music is a complete artistry. You know, it's not just music, and especially a live show. There's bands that are great musicians, great on their album and I don't care if I see them live because they're no different. You know, every thing is a big piece in the art possible in our world. And I think it's a shame that not all bands on this universe seem to you know, take it that way. But that is something that we has been We've been very adam at about like since since since two thousand and twelve, and we did Black Wats, like because we've done a bunch of albums before Black Wats, right, but that is, you know, we grew up playing together, so we just grew up on the stage together, so like we did all the mistakes publicly, right, you know. But then on Black Wats, we we just we basically quit the band. We we said we're done with this, you know, and uh, and then me and Janice were like fifteen minutes later, Oh, we just got to do something with this riff, you know. All right, all right, We're we will do a comeback then, all right, But then we decided we're gonna do this last album, and we're gonna do it exactly the way we want it, right, and and we're gonna make it super important that like every little piece of this, like how the pictures look

54 of the band, what colors is there? Like, how does the videos look like, how does the live show look? Like? Everything is going to be a little piece in like the puzzle that makes a big picture. Yeah, it's like all the ingredients in a recipe to like bake a cake or something. If you leave one part out, doesn't quite taste the same. No, it depends on what recipue r exactly right. So yeah, and you do have all those components because you put on an amazing show no matter where it is, no matter how long it is, it's always a performance. It's not playing a show, it's you put everything you have artistically into it. And I think that is what makes the difference. Thank you, And we really try to do that, you know, but sometimes you're limited. Then you do the best you can out of what you have.

53 Like, that's a pro the Swedish entrepreneur said Norwegian. Actually, like, sell the strawberries you can sell, like, don't try and sell your competitor strawberries, sell your own. Like, so today, what's the coolest thing we can do? Take the jackets off at the same time and make it look awesome and then just stuff like that, and I love it works. The greatest special effect is always your eyes. Yes, absolutely. Now I want to talk about more importantly your new album. Yeah, badass, thank you, So let's talk a little bit about that. We're very happy about it. Yeah, it was a it's recorded on Swedish countryside, all right, so it's it's recorded at Johanna's our singers, his parents summer house cottage, like it's a play cottage in the middle of the woods with no neighbors or anything. Just moves, you know. I love it. Yeah.

49 Yeah, So we we just brought a lot of studio equipment there and and did the album there, and that was a very good time. We had a month together just cooking for each other, drinking some beers and whiskey and recording an album and as far from lay as we could possibly get, you know, literally. So yeah, the entire process about this album was amazing. And you know, like it's obviously it's written during the pandemics and all that bullishit that happened. If you remember I don't want to no no no, I realized I'm almost like there's just two blank years, you know.

32 But it was recorded when everything started to open up again and you could actually sense that, like, ah, the world is coming back. Yeah. So yeah, we're very happy about this album. Well, I've said for a long time that some of the best music ever. If you're going to pick a positive the pandemic, that's it because you as artists and you what you're saying proves it. You get to actually sit down and create instead of rushing or you know, you're on this like constant thing that you can't really just sit and focus. I like it almost started to before the pandemic, kid, I almost started to like become bored of you know, like you say this an American or English like a squirrel wheel. Oh no, this is what we say. Hamster wheel. Hamster wheel. That's what I've been saying that everybody else. And I wasn't sure if you would understand that Swedish we use squirrel wheel for some reason. You did never have squirrels in those.

38 But you know, it sort of felt like, all right, it's it's just easily repeat, it's recorded tour right repeats. You know why we call it hamster wheel because everybody gets hamsters as pets and the number one thing you put in your cage is a wheel. And all they do, it's point four hours a day run on this wheel. Like you can't even sleep because they're running on the wheel. I feel very terrible for the hamsters currently walking in their wheels, I know, right, yeah, And so that's what's cool about this new album because to me, it is in that realm, like I was saying some of the best music ever made because because you guys were out in the middle of nowhere just focused on creativity. Yeah, thank you. We're very happy about it. So let's talk about how people can get the album now and all your merch and connect with you on socials and all that stuff. Store avatar metal dot com and then you spend your hard earned dollars on me and apart from now, you can also search for Avatar Metal on every social media and there we are. Well listen, they should spend it. And for no other reason, but it's the only way artists like you or anybody survives nowadays. And why not support the bands that

09 you want to be with. So anything else we want to talk about that you that we haven't covered yet that you want to let the listeners know. I need to drink some water. I think, oh yeah, no, I'm gonna go get that. So that was everything I had to add. I presume well water is important right now for sure? Very well, Well, you guys coming back to America, and we're coming back to UK, we're coming back to everywhere. Well, we love you in America for sure, as you probably know. And uh, everybody has to get Dance Devil Dance because everybody's got to get Dance Devil Dance because it's the only album NA should have in their whole collection. It's in my opinion. So thanks for being here, Get some water, and thanks for being on the Adventures of pipe Man. Always a thank you for listening to the Adventures of pipe Man.
