04 Hey, you have done to the censure? Wow, pray you why become of America. It's time for the Adventures of Pipeman on W four c y dot com. West pomp Beats is number one internet radio station. Here's your host, the hit Man. This is pipe Man here on the Adventures pipe Man W four c y Raio and I'm here web. I love it.
57 It's a solva from you already know where we're from. Did you work on my song more the pipe Man song? Yeah, it goes like pipe Man, pipe Man, pipe Man, pipe Man? Nice? So here you are at after shock. Tell me this is fucking the best one. Right? Too hot? Too hot? Right? Too hot? You weren't wrong. This is this media tone right. Yeah, that's why I want to get to the interview now because later you guys will be in coherent. Yeah, it gets a little, it gets a little wild here. Later. I don't know about the last day, but it definitely last night and Friday night sick. Yeah, we'll be here. Everybody forgot to go see corn because they're back here. Yeah. And then a little while you got the chef will be dishing out some food. I know we have pizza, so we haven't eating all day. So there you go. Well you'll have you have to wait for that. So what's been going on since last time I talked to you, which was a couple of days ago. This guy drove all of our gear from Ohio to California. Wow, we have all our gear? So wow? What was our plan? What's our other plan?
09 We're gonna try to fly our stuff out and that just fell through. We don't have enough money, so we rented a van. It might not have gotten here anyway. By the way, Yeah, we had a couple buddies that actually lost some some stuff in the flight. But do you have everything across the country? Honestly, it was beautiful. I'd never been to Cali, and this is the best reason to come out, you know, have an excuse to come out or whatever. That's a cool thing about being on the road because like you're forced to, you know, drive forever, but then you get to see all this cool shit you may have never seen. Yeah, especially flying, Like I like doing road trips because I find the coolest shit, you know, absolutely Salt Lake around that area. It's just cool because you get to go like ninety Lake Tahoe. As I was trying to go to Reno and then from Reno to Sacramento. But we saw that Lake Tahoe is right there and lake a little distraction of a stop and we jumped in. Water was about forty six degrees. It was it was fresh, but woke me up. I was glad I did it. And then a couple of days later, come and just do this festival to be one hundred and million degrees. Yeah, went from that to this. I think it helped. But everything, we killed it. Everyone out there loved us.
30 So yeah, see, I love hearing that because you know, sometimes you never know coming up to a festival what's going to happen, and you're playing a certain time of day and it's like mm and then boom, you never know, and they're loving it after cheering on after every song, and I'm just like, I love you guys, seriously, I'll be auf of. Isn't that a cool feeling when you're like up there and they're just digging it because these guys know more about it. They're up front on in the back. Yeah. Right, It wasn't like the biggest crowd like a louder or something, but like it was still cool because this time everybody that was there was like super into. Everybody that was there was jumping, everybody was going crazy. So it was definitely a plus on that end of maybe not having the biggest crowd, but it was still like everybody there was, every single person was into it. So it's proofs you're making your mark already.
26 Yeah, well I think it's difficult coming you know, we're East Coast. Yeah, you know, so coming out here, I don't know that everybody knows us now, so these people got to know us and they were into it. So I'm really saying, and these sacked people, I'm gonna tell you, they're fucking loyal. Like I've got to know over the years doing this festival, people come to this festival no matter what every year, like this is their vacation, this festival, you know. So the sacked people are really dedicated to the band and the music at this festival. So you probably made your mark now. I appreciate that, I hope. So there you go. What else you want to tell the listeners that we haven't covered last time or this time that they need to know what's going on with you guys. We traveled to California and conquered it. There it is, and that you're gonna open a restaurant. Yes, yeah, Carnea, Yeah, there you go, and it will be a base out of Sacramento. There it is. You know, look at what would you just say? Oh something we can't tell. Yeah. We got a song coming out next month in November. It's called Canyon. It's got a little little country twang on it a little bit, but like it's good, nice, Probably a week before Thanksgiving is the plan is when it comes out. So see, I like when things are a little different though, like you gotta mix it up or otherwise it's just boring if it's same music over and over again. Yeah, you know, like it's the only one I've written in like fifteen minutes, like lyrics and all. I love that. Yeah, it's like that
56 means it's real, Yeah, because it just comes out of you. It's nice not to have to spend like a year and a half on a song or something. That would be me Like I write a book and then narrow it down and it takes me ten years to narrow it. There's a there's a rawness and a realness to it. Like for instance, like we got an acoustic guitar or nylon string where the nut wasn't filed right, so it would intentionally buzz when he played, so it sounded like somebody on the porch singing. And how parts in the song where it cuts out and it's just him and it sounds like some dude on the porch just playing. It's like that old school backwards Georgia exactly. Yeah, it makes it relatable. It makes a human as opposed to just something between your ears. I love it. That's something the best shit anyway, instead of the overproduced stuff, you know. Yeah, so tell everybody your socials web all that great stuff A SAPA, band A, sa v A b A, NDA dot com, slash shop. We were poor by everything that was pretty fucking good. Thanks, I've rehearsed it. Thanks for being on the Adventures of pipe Man, pipe Man, pipe Man, pipe Man, pipe Man, plip Man, pipe Man, plate Man, plate Man. Thank you for listening to the Adventures of Pypemin on wfur CUI Radio.
