I've been telling all weekend and interviews about you filming the video here. Yes, tell people your experience with Shawshank Prison.

0:48 Oh my god, we filmed Devil's Be Damned. We filmed Deviles Be Damned overnight and we had to stay in here. You don't want to stay in this prison. We're filming upstairs. I don't remember which room it was, but we kept hearing things and there's nobody in the building like you hear voices, and you'd hear things move and just stuff that's unsettling. And I'll be honest with you. There's a couple of rooms in there. You walk in and okay, we're what mid July right now? I guarantee in solitaire there's still ice on the floor. Uh like it, Just like there's places in this building that are inhabited by what.

1:31 I don't know, but I'll tell you. I don't want to know, but I'll be honest with you. Filming the video was amazing, but this is not somewhere I want to be overnight. Yeah, no doubt. I did the blood prison. And I'm like telling people like, you don't know if it's one of the characters or a real ghost. That's the problem. You don't know if it is the character or if it's something that's just here. Yeah, And I'll tell you, like from experience, there is something here. What Like I said, I do not know, but I did tell it the last time I was here. If you bring me to the other side, you're not gonna like me. I said, I love messing with me.

That's so funny because my house, when my kids were younger, they kept saying it's haunted and telling me about goes fucking with them, and I'm like, I'm not experiencing any of that. And so I have this really good friend that she does that paranoia almost yet and she came over to us and she goes to me, Yeah, they're not messing it with you because you're too powerful. They're afraid of you, yes, but they're messing with your kids and they are here. Well that's the thing. It's like I always say it, like, I don't let anything mess with me and my wife and my son. They've told me stories, but I've always like, anytime I've ever got a bad situation where I felt something, I'm like, listen, we could be cool, but you bring me over there.

3:07 We fight like I yeah, I don't care, Like, yeah, you're ruined a good thing for me over here. Leave me alone. I'll leave you alone. You're giving them a killer's confession, right. Oh yeah, we'll give you something to confess. So I have to raise you for coming over here and doing interviews because you just got off stage. Yes, it's hot as shit, Yes you got your mask, you're cool, fucking get up. And then I'm like, fuck, I'm sweating looking at you. Well that's the thing, is like, you have to respect the heat. And we don't put this stuff on for our amusement. We do it for yours.

And this is one of them situations where today you had the bad storm come in last night, everything got messed up, we got moved stage is but the humidity because the sun came out during my set and you could just feel the water vapor in the air and it just sunk into the suit, sunk into the mask, and I was done. I ain't gonna lie like she was dying. I always have to upmost respect for artists that go above and beyond, like you, And because you're an entertainer, you're it's a show it, you know, and to do this when you could say, fuck it's too hot, I'm not doing it. I have the utmost respect because people you're.

4:35 About the fan and I respect that. I respect the value of a dollar, and I love the fact that people are willing to spend their hard earned money. And when I say hard, I know how hard it is to make a dollar. And when you're willing to spend that dollar to come see me, I'm gonna give you everything i've got because it's like you're giving me the opportunity to take the burden of responsibility and you're giving me that hour or thirty minutes or whatever to relieve you of that and let you enjoy something that you aren't hard to be at you deserve it. And if people can't look at it like that, I ain't got. No respect for you. Wrong business, wrong business. Then if they can't look at it like that, they're in the wrong business, they are in.

5:19 The wrong business. We are entertainers and we have been blessed. And when I say that, I mean it. We have been blessed with the opportunity that people enjoy your stuff enough to where you can be a part of a forty thousand person in the festival and. You're allowed to be a part and they choose to listen to you. So respect that. Always respect that. And then on the other side, as it feel when you go up on that stage here earlier in the day and you look out as sea of people there for you. And that's the thing. There was a sea of people today. I did not be in at the. Stage got moved Like if you've ever been in a situation where. You get moved venues, do you cut what you were in half?

6:02 And there were people all the way back for us, and it was amazing. It was a beautiful sight. That being that we're from Ohio and we got that Ohio love and it's funny, but it's like, wow, they remember, they paid attention and they came to see a Killer's Confession. And I'll tell you today was a rough day for me. We drove last night from up Evil and that was a drive and we did rock and we did rock Fest earlier this week. I came back. I did rock Fest, came back in and brought two one six in my boys into it, j Man, Gravy and everybody brought them in, and then turn around and went to up Evil and then turn around and came back to do Incarcerational.

6:42 I'm tired because I did all the driving. Really, Yeah, we're. Not supposed to be to one driver. I work hard. How you do? It's like I'm not only the singer of a Killer's Confession. I'm your bus driver and welcome to congressman coach. Be prepared to get your drink, and we're gonna have a bumpy ride. Nice. I love it. Well, see that's what I like to hear or too, because people don't get it. They think a lot of times they look at like social media and stuff and they're like, man, you live the dream life. They don't see that other stuff never hard. It never ends. It is twenty four to seven. It is from the time I wake up to the time I.

7:23 Go to bed. I'm dealing with going from one thing to the next. We're planning the album release. It never ends. I've released an album a year, I got an album dropping again next year. So I'm doing the full trilogy, three albums three years. It's not stopped for me. No baby does that anymore. I love that we're we're. Just working constantly because I understand that we're living in an age where people don't digest music the way they used to. Like a lot of people, it's just a bad and for me, it's a cult. It's like I'm writing something that's going to outlive me, and I'm writing a message that's gonna like transcend the transcend time because it's a message that you should everyone should hold deer and that save a kid, kill a pedophile.

8:08 I love that message more than any thank you. I'm just trying to bring awareness to the fact that trafficking and sex slavery is a real thing and people need to open their eyes to it because this is not something we sweep under the rugs. These are our babies, and if I have a platform, I'm gonna use it to bring awareness to this situation. And I may be saying that they should get this some most severe punishment known to man, but I can't find any other way to fix it. Yeah, I mean like even next door the prison that's now working guaranteed one hundred percent of inmates that they're feel the same way as it, because I do. Even they hate pedophiles.

8:51 And everybody's like, looks at me. But it's like, I worked with children when I left mushrom It, I went and worked in a facility and I worked with the kids from trafficking. And these kids have changed my life forever. They change it for the better. But they also opened my eyes to the worst things that you could ever imagine. So now I use my platform, I use my. Art to express like this darkness that I will never be able to shake off. I gained the whole new respect recently for Ronnie Radkey, who performed the other night here. Yes, because he called out that dude in the band on tour with them and even called out a festival they played at. Yeah, because they've allowed the band to play.

9:33 They shouldn't be allowed in society. I have children, I have a grandchild. Now congratulate, Thank you. Very much, you know, Like I wasn't ready to become a grandparent, but I did. But the fact is I love children. I think children are the most amazing creatures on this planet because they will tell you the truth no matter what. Yes, and they love everybody no matter what they look like. To you, everybody that they see, everybody on equal play and field. They have imagination. The world is so massive and they got it all in front of them. And I believe in monsters, and I believe those monsters are the people that will take that beautiful, a beautiful creature and destroy it because that's exactly what you're doing the life that they were going to have you end. And so that's why we say, say the kid kill a pedophile, it's life for life, eye for eye.

10:23 I agree, And I think a killer's confession is all about that. Yes we are, that's our message. It's not going to change. Like I see people and they got their opinions about it, but it's like you go work with these children and you will get this darkness in you too, and when you see the light of it of like what was really going on, you'll never be the same. And some of those people are never ever fixed. So no, the only fix. Don't fix is elimination. Yes, because it's it's a cycle and it will continuously repeat itself. Always die about it.
