04 Hi you then you censure for see wow, crazy young. This is the pipe Man here on the Adventures pipe Man W four c Y Radio. And I'm here with I'mfghiney. This is Siger. This is Alex wea kapper. Nice here at Bloodstock. Oh my god, Like I think Cypress is like invading Bloodstock. It's like all the Cypress bands are here at Bloodstock. You guys must be really good musicians. We have many, many more amazing bands on on on the island. Actually we are originally we are not from Cyprus.

51 We moved there from Russia and we were surprised how many amazing strongest bands we have on the islands. It's South Setting. And you know what, You're the second band that I've talked to that did the exact same thing. They left Russia went to Cypress and really, yeah, I don't I can't remember which one was Consults spinning in my head all right, I had the same thing, and I'm like, well, that's pretty cool, you know, so tell me about the music scene in Cypress. As the fact of that you came from somewhere else, you weren't even from there. What's the what how you feel about do you like feel like you're at home.

36 There completely completely. For example, me, I got super old citizenship, so now I'm a super nice yeah, and so so. Tell me about your journey to Bloodstock. It was cool, it was amazing. Uh we had our competed last year and we got to the finals. But speaking whispers, our good friends. I love them, were. Really good that time and they came here last year to represent Cyprus. Now this year, probably we were better than others and we're here. We're really happy with that.

28 I love it. Do you contribute to the fact that they gave you, like some tips to change and then you modified this year from what you did last year? Not really, They just told our friends, told us to be ourselves, to enjoy the first in general, and yeah, probably they are right, okay kind of. Well that's it. You gotta enjoy yourself, like otherwise why do this? You're not having fun? Right completely? Yeah? All right? So what was that moment in time that you knew music was what you wanted to do? Oh? Since our childhood it was like I have a sister who showed me Queen and Ironsmiths when I was maybe three years old, and since then then I decided, Yeah, yeah, I want to perform. I want to play music. And then for some reason I lost the dream to become a musician and for a long time, for maybe ten or more, and I started playing guitar only when I was sixteen. So the dream was really kind of splited parts.

57 Nice, But what made you go away from it? And what made you go back to it? Sorry? What made you stop and what made you start again? I stopped because for the I thought I was better in drawing, and I went with my completely into drawing. And then I started listening to more having having music like I found out for example, Moon Spell, Tiamatt, Caltonia, stuff like that, do me stuff might I and Bright of course Paradise Lost that bands and I thought, wow, that's that's the music I want to play. And we started from that and now we are playing like kind of more more dead and stuff. We started from melodic death and now we added some dark stuff in it and we call it dark metal.

08 Nice. I love it. Does he want to add to this? Tell me a little bit about how you got into music? Was when I was a student, I started playing bass. Uh when I heard the like system of a down, don't I realized that, Wow, the bassis, this the death instrument with which I wanted to want to which I want to play. So yeah, I started. Then I met your gay and we played in the one band we were playing do metal. Later, when we both came to Cyprus, we started a new bands. Yeah copper Okay, yeah, yeah nice?

51 And so what do you think about being here at Bloodstock? That's great, it's perfect at least, like dream come. True, right right, And it's it's a family here. This is like the ultimate festival because it's just one big metal family. Yeah, old people so gently. Yeah, So let's let him say in your language and maybe translate to him what he should talk about. Actually, his English is pretty good. He was trying to avoid. Huh. Tell me a little bit about how your journey and music started. What for?

35 What first got you into music? And how did it lead to where we are today. It's very easy. Yeah, my father was a musician. Actually, he showed me how to play drums, how to play in. That's it nice? Love it a love the didents actually. And how young were you when you first started playing drums? I think it was nine. Nice, and so how how did you all get together? We have a very great and nice community on cypress. We have all these chats, you know. Yeah, and that's.

16 Like we meet each other just simply to play some jamsen, that's it. And how you feel being here at Bloodstock today? Sit? It's awesome. It's a first festival that I saw. Really yeah, so and actually I don't know what to say. I really like it's awesome. Yeah, too exciting. Okay, so come on back here this way here again. What do you want the listeners to know about your band? Well? Oh yeah, Copper we are from Cyprus. We play very heavy, atmospheric and melodic metal based on ancient Egyptian mythology and history. Uh so, and this year we're participating at Bloodstock. I know.

13 How amazing is that? Right? Yes? Yeah? So tell your and tell my listeners how they can connect with you guys on socials on the web. By your merch you can't listen to my show, and let's say, buy your merch and you do have cool shirts. Yeah, So it's better to find us on Instagram because that's the we do the most attention to Instagram at the moment. It's Copper Official. Find us there, all right? Any final words, any of you want to give to the listeners. Oh, listen to good music, listen to metal. Yeah, stay fucking.

56 Metal, and say whatever the fuck you want. All right, that's great, that's great. So and to see you in front of the stage, guys, see you.
