04 Hey, you lunt to censure for see wow, cra you you. This is the pipe Man here on the Adventures pipe Man W four c Y Radio and I'm here. With La from Luna Kiels. Nice fucking you, oh my god for us really yeah, this is the first time. Had that happen? How did that happen? Well, somebody wanted to book us here, Like you. Must be really really really good that they book you on the Holy Ground. Yeah, I guess so. You can never say that you are that good.
46 But I'm saying this. You don't have to say. I'm saying it. You are that good. Thank you. So tell me a little bit about uh, you know what the experience at valking has been. Is it what you too? Because it's my first time I walk into and I do festivals all over the world, it way surpassed my expectations. I'm gonna say the same for me because I did not realize how huge this festival actually is. I have never ever in my life been in this this huge festival that I'm in right now, and what I've seen it's really cool and I'm really happy that we get to be a part of it. And I'm looking forward to seeing a little bit more now that the show is done.
28 Right, Yeah, you can have fun right. A little bit because we have to fly over at the next show. But yeah, that's the life, right, Yeah, that's the life. It's like me, I've been here for three days. I don't think I've caught a full set yet. Oh yeah, an airview one after another after another. I beg a list in the morey of what sets of I go to, and at the end of the day, I'm like, oh and I miss that one. I miss that when I miss that one, okay, never mind. Yeah, but you get to see a little bit of like everything. So kind of. I haven't left this press tent much. Okay. When I did come, I was in a container in the in the artists area. So it's like ours area, President, ours area Press. I've even eaten today, Oh same as Yesterir, I need to like midnight yesterday.
14 Well that's the life. Right, But see, people like us, we love that. Yeah, that's why we do it. Like I bring my doughter sometimes so festival I do. And she's like after the halfway through first say, She's like. Dad, I don't know how you did this. Every weekend I'm done already. Yeah, I bet, I bet. But like you said, this like hectic kind of lifestyle is something that I enjoy personally, so you too. If it's sometimes tiresome, I still love it. Yeah. Who needs sleep when you have music? Yeah, definitely, that's true. That is really my viewpoint. Yeah. So what would you say the highlight of Vodkin has been for you so far? Well, definitely the show because it was insane. The crowd was insane. We did not know.
57 What do you expect that? No, we didn't know what to expect, if we're being like completely honest, and we didn't know who was going to play with us at the same time and everything, so we just thought we were just banned from Finland, so maybe somebody will come. And it was packed, So that was the highlight and everybody was going insane and that's something I like to see. So it was really great. So did it even cross your mind that you'd have that big of a crowd and so into it. No, No, not at all. So that was a pleasant surprise, right. Yeah. Now, how does that make you feel as an artist? Because it could go both ways. It could go you get up on stage and you're like, holy shit, or it could be like, oh my god, this is the best day of my life.
43 Yeah. Well, every time I go on stage, I expect, even though there is like smaller crowd or bigger crowd, there is going to be a person that does not like our music or has come with a skeptical mind, and MY goal is to turn that around nice my mindset every time I go on stage. So and today it was definitely one of those moments like holy shit, like this, this is insane, and this is going to be the best show I've played the entire summer. Wow, that's see that. I love hearing that because that makes it all worthwhile, right, Yeah, all the stuff we're talking about, that's what makes it worthwhile. Yeah. And so what in your opinion since you brought it up, what in your opinion do you think people why they wouldn't like your music?
28 I wouldn't like with that music? Yeah, well, I think these days you don't know if the band is going to be good live, if they're good on record, you don't know are they going to be a good live band. And we think there ourselves that we are a really good live band. So I know that there is going to be somebody a little bit skeptic. Is this going to be good? Is are they going to sound good? And I'm looking forward always the changing the opinion that yeah they are good. There you go. So that and I love that you think that way because there are summers that might think either they get upset about it or something. So I love the positive spin. Yeah, because I'm also a motivational speaker, and it's like, yeah, it's all it's not what happens to you, it's what you do with it.
12 Yeah, you know, Yeah definitely. And that makes you a true artist that you want to get them to realize, Yeah, why you're there? Yeah, definitely, And that's the mindset. And it's okay, even though if there was some somebody that it still thinks that it's not for them, you know, but you know, it's music and everybody likes what they like. So well, you rock, you rocked, vacking, you killed it at the Holy Ground. And thanks a lot for being here and being on the adventure. Thank you so much for having us pleasure. Thank you for listening to the Adventures of Pipelin. I'm w for CUI Radio.
