04 Hi, you love Done to Censure? See Wow for you yours? The Pipe Man here and the Adventures a Pipe Man W four c Y Radio and I'm here with Chain Saint. Nice. It's so cool. We're here at Bloodstock. Last year we talked at Welcome to Rockville. We had to cross the pond and do it again. How does it feel to be here at Bloodstock in the UK? Man? It feels amazing. Right now we're in the middle, well, actually on the ladder half of our tour with Slaughter to Prevail. You know, we're just chilling, surviving and thriving.
45 Nice. How has it been being on tour with Slader to Prevail? Man? Let me tell you it's been one of the best experiences because not only do we get to like play our own music, we also get to learn from some of the best. It's very fortunate. So were you guys at Blood for Blood before Rockville this year? Yeah? Oh my god, that fight I Alex. He's fucking brutal. Like he fought. I think he got his notes broken and then still performed like mad props. So tell the people that haven't heard you guys before, what you guys are all about. How you would explain your music not necessarily a genre, just you know, give them an idea of why they should listen to you.
31 I think I said it last year, A raw ball of fire. Yeah yeah, yeah, that's how I see it. I mean, it's just like a lot of energy, a lot of emotion, and a lot of thrash and a lot of hardcore. A lot of fucking thrash. I love it. I'm an old school thrashball ahead, if you remember, we talked about that last year, but that's old point. Thrash is a combination of hardcore, punk and everything you can't like just take like Suicide and Slayer are not the same, and Frax and Megadeth are not the same. And that's what's cool about the fresh genres. You can blend all these genres, especially today because today you have a lot of metal genres are so finite that you can only play like this. And I love bands like you that can blend all kinds of experiences and make it something unique that's going to stand out.
28 And that's why Slurred Ravail brought you out. I think, man, thank you appreciate that. So we already know Suicide is one of your influences who would you say is your major influence. The guitar wise or like bands bands Sepultu nice did. You catch their last u K set? Every astronam As the Rocks, so their last Spain set? Oh well see that's cool, that's cool. How about you as a vocalist. I gotta go fill in Somelmo Panthera. I mean it's just like there's a certain level of great he has. But you know, either way he talks. Even when he talks, I know, he's like I'm friends with him and he's like, oh dude, you know, I don't really like what was going on today at the festival, and you know it's pretty fucked up. Bring up the goddamn cigarette and try it, how about you?
18 I would also have to agree with Sepultura that's like probably our main influence in general. So yes, I would say somewhere like newer, like Power Trip, you know. Oh yeah, see, those are some badass influences that are all, like I said, a little different that brings that uniqueness. Well, and we probably talked about this last time, but what would you say so far on your musical journey, because maybe it's new now a year later, it's your most memorable experience, good or bad, crazy or not crazy. Memorable tour like tour experience, like. In general, anything in music.
01 I'm gonna have to get back on this one unless you guys go around for us. He's got a lot to think. Mine's explicit. That fine. You could say explicit, you could do explicit. I don't know what he's gonna say. Remember, Oh, yeah, Okay, So we're playing Arizona Bike Week, right and we're sound checking and yeah, and basically we hit the last quart of the sound check. We're expecting to just go backstage because you know, but since it's the festival, there's people that were watching a sound check out of nowhere. Somebody screams, sign my titties. Now, I'm like, I'm like seventeen eighteen at the time, so it's I hain't never seen titties before, period. So I was just kind of like, no, long story short, it just did not go the way I would have liked it to go.
52 But we signed her. Bra Well there you go. And now you probably think back and like, what was I thinking? Oh no, I'm even today, I would not sign them. Good for you, Good for you, good person, think. I think one of the ones I'll say is definitely on this tour. It was, Yeah, what was the when we're at with Matt around the festival super Lit. Romania? Yeah, yeah, I think so the festival in Romania. You guys were lit. They were awesome. I had a great time there. That was probably my favorite night on tour. Nice all time, how about you? Uh? Low key? Yesterday was kind of crazy.
34 We met me and him, met the singer for Marauder. He was like watching a side stage and that's a big influence on so it was pretty cool. And then we also like almost got into an altercation with some guy in this band. I don't know who he was, but uh, there's that. I guess why was there an altercation? What? I think he just thought we were talking about him, but he was just singing a Prince song. Singing a Prince song and then he got offset and then said like my dog just got put down, and I had no clue. Oh yeah. Then he like threatened me saying I'll be put down next, but you know what, I don't care. Well, you know what, I'm sorry you had that experience because usually at Bloodsuck there are no assholes. Here. We don't like assholes, and that's an asshole. I feel bad no for what he happened happened to him, but that don't give him a right to be a dictum totally point blank. So is that one the story you would.
31 Share a story I was gonna say, so. Yeah, so that's pretty cool that Marauder was sitting side stage like that must kind of blow your mind. Yeah, of course that that was very crazy. I just like looked over when like in the middle of one of the songs and then I just see him standing there. I'm like, holy shit. So yeah, it was a big deal. And then in catering, he like came up to us and he was like, oh, like we killed the set and I was like, wow, So it's really cool. That is a cool experience. So tell everybody what you got going on after this and after the tour is over, and tell everybody how to connect with you on your socials and buy your merch because they can't listen to my show. And let's say buy your fucking merch.
15 Okay, well I like that, So to get started on like what we got going for the rest of the tour. You know, we're just playing we're ending up at Dynamo Fest. So that's another cool one. Keep it, keep it, keep the love out there, keep it, keep it Dynamo. Then we got some new music coming out, you know, so keep keep checking the Spotify chang saying, keep checking on Instagram, change Saint, check our website changsaint dot com. Uh, and then when it comes to merch it's on the website. I'm wearing the Affliction collab right now, so I can give you a O. I'm glad you showed me to back because that is pretty fucking cool. It's pretty fucking hard, right, I love.
57 It, man, it was already cool shirt and then I didn't even know it was a collapse. So that's fucking really cool. So anybody who wants to get it, they can go on Affliction's website. Just search up Affliction, exchange Saint. It's gonna pop up. Nice. Well, you guys fucking rock. I'm glad you're here at Bloodstock and fucking traveling the world showing people your music because they need to hear you. And props to Sorry to Prevail for bringing you out on this and thanks for being on the Adventures of pipe Man once again. Pipe Man Thank you so much my pleasure. Thank you for listening to the adventures of pipe Man.
38 I'm w for CUI Radio.
