19 This is the Pipe Man here on the Adventures of Pipe Man W4CY radio, and I'm here with... Ethan. Sean. Cameron. Sebastian. We are at Shane's Saint. We're happy to be here with Pipe Man. Yes, and I'm happy to have you here at Louder Than Life. You were going to say something? I just said once again. Once again. Like, see, I love this though because normally I don't interview bands like two months in a row, but you guys are too fucking cool and I caught. Your set today. I'm like, oh my God, they did a badass set in the fucking hell of Louder Than Life because it's so freaking hot. Yeah. Like, I don't even know how you guys do it, man, to be honest. I'm just sitting here and it's enough for me and you guys are running around stage doing that shit. Like, I have to bow to you for this.

06 Heat and giving us a show. So tell us what it's like to be here at Louder. Oh man, being here at Louder Than Life, it's awesome. Round two, we finally get to hit it this time. And the set was a lot of fun. The people, the crowd, they showed up. And we're very happy about that, being early in the morning. It's been a blast talking to people here, talking to Pipe Man. And yeah, always love it here at the DWP Festivals. Yeah, and how does Danny treat you guys? How does Danny Wimmer treat you guys as a band? D-Money. D-Money's amazing. I mean, we're just very fortunate he allowed us to play on the live stage today. I mean, it's huge. This is our first main stage performance at any festival. So we're just blessed.

51 What's it feel like being on a stage that much bigger than what you're used to? It's a playground. Right? It is a playground. A lot of space. And it was so cool because it was a part connecting it to the stage next to us, to the ladder stage. I had like the, you know when it's like the angel and the devil on the shoulder? Oh yeah, totally. Every minute of my life. Yeah, it's the devil like, you should definitely go on to the other stage. And the angel's like, don't do it, Sean. You're going to get yourself kicked out. Don't do it. I didn't do it. You did it. Come on. I think you had, come on, you didn't do it? I went halfway. Okay. Okay. So that's cool. A little balance there. A little bit devil, a little bit angel. Yeah. You got to have a little bit of both. A little bit.

37 That's the recipe. So how do you feel the difference is playing here in the U.S. and playing in the U.K.? Oh, the difference? I mean, look, people did not disappoint today. But in the U.K., I mean, in all of Europe, everyone's crazy in a good way. It shows. They are. like true metal heads, but people here today showed the same energy. And, you know, it's a different crowd, but it's a different type of crowd. In good ways. And, you know, mosh pits the whole way. Loved it. What blew me away when I drove up this morning is, like, it's a Thursday, hot as fucking hell, and I couldn't believe the line for people to get in that I didn't have to stand on.

25 Yeah, when we were flying in, I recognized some people From just around town, I'm like, oh, they're going louder than life. Like, a lot of people that are just coming in just for the festival. Oh, yeah. My flight, like, everybody on there was there for louder than life. And it was a packed flight. Yeah. And somebody asked me, they're like, Nate, we're sitting right next to me. Are you here for louder than life? And I'm like, look at my hair. Look at my shirt. I didn't really say that. But that's what I'm thinking in my mind. I'm like, well, yeah, of course. It's badass. Yeah. Like, this is one of my favorite festivals because it is so cool. Like, there's so many stages, so much going on, so many cool bands. And speaking of which, what bands are you going to catch?

12 Machine Head. Unfortunately, we're out today. But, I mean, today, Machine Head, Danzig, and Pantera, I'm there. Nice. All those sets. Tomorrow, if I was here, I'd be going to Twitching Tongues and a bunch of other bands. I've got to look at the full thing, but... we're only here today and still stacked lineup. I look at while you're not here. Cause then you'll just feel bad that you have some FOMO that you're missing. That's fair. Do you guys have a bands that you would want to see here at Laird and life that he didn't mention? I want to see Danzig. Nice. Pantera. Who do I want to see today? Shoot. Danzig. It looks like Danzig's the winner here, man. You know? And, uh, So I love your shirt, too. It says fucking punk.

01 Yeah, that's for our new release that drops at midnight tonight. Exactly. So tell us more about it. All right. So my wonderful lady friend made this for me. Shout out Ava. It's different T-shirts with different letters. Oh, wow. Yeah, that's cool. There's a different T-shirt from a goodwill, you know, and and she sewed them all on here. And yeah. Custom shirt for the release and I wore it for for the show today and yeah it's fucking punk. Nice I love it well you guys are fucking awesome is there anything else you want to tell the listeners that we haven't covered already that you have up in common. Punk drops tonight at midnight October 9th full EP rise to fall drops another three songs on there and yeah just keep your eyes open your ears peeled and you know We're going to have a lot of new stuff coming out soon.

56 I love seeing you guys because every time I see you, you're blowing up even more. Thank you. And you are working it hard, and it's paying off. So thank you for giving us great music. Thank you. Hard at work or hardly working? How about a little bit of both? And thanks for being here at Louder and on The Adventures of Pipe Man. Thank you for listening to The Adventures of Pipe Man.
