ED Innovators: Protection Against Opioid Overdoses
Dr. David Gordon introduces the Dove device, a wearable technology designed to detect life-threatening opioid overdoses and alert bystanders or emergency responders. Built to operate independently of cell phones, the device uses physiologic monitoring and onboard algorithms to expand access to lifesaving intervention for people at risk of overdose.
