The third day of ACEP26 took place in Chicago, IL, on Wednesday, October 7. Newly elected ACEP Board of Directors members Kurtis Mayz, JD, MD, MBA, FACEP, and Torree McGowan, MD, FACEP, discuss the pediatric and rural perspectives they bring to the board; U.S. Army Maj. Spencer Heggers, MD, describes opportunities for emergency physicians in the Army Medical Corps; and Yale emergency medicine resident David Gordon, MD, focuses on preserving the human touch as AI transforms medicine.
