Speaker A

You know, there's really only about three types of people that you're gonna encounter in life.

Speaker A

And each and every one of you will have to make a decision which one of these three people you will be.

Speaker A

And the first person that kind of sits in this seat, this person, if you're taking notes, this is the natural person.

Speaker A

This is the self directed life.

Speaker A

Matter of fact, if you're in church right now and you're watching this, you probably aren't one of these people.

Speaker A

But you work with these people, you go to school with these.

Speaker A

These people are your family members that you see a couple times a year, you know, when you have holidays together.

Speaker A

So these people, they have not received Jesus Christ.

Speaker A

They.

Speaker A

They have not received him.

Speaker A

As a matter of fact, self is on the throne, and self directs all their decisions and actions.

Speaker A

And often it results in frustration.

Speaker A

I'm gonna read a verse.

Speaker A

First Corinthians, chapter 2, verse 14.

Speaker A

And it says, the natural person does not accept the things of the spirit of God for their folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

Speaker A

Now, if you look at First Corinthians, chapter 2, verse 14, this word folly, everybody say folly, okay?

Speaker A

It means foolishness.

Speaker A

But I want to go deeper.

Speaker A

Can I go deep today?

Speaker A

Is that all right?

Speaker A

Okay.

Speaker A

Foolishness in the original language means being ridiculously or wildly unreasonable.

Speaker A

So what this means is, you know, these people, they're living their life and they're just trying to get by.

Speaker A

You know, I know that you don't have anybody smoking marijuana here in Michigan, but in New York, we have that problem.

Speaker A

And these people are good people, but they use it to get by.

Speaker A

And it's THC and caffeine and nicotine.

Speaker A

And when they're driving to work, they turn the music up real loud and they're just trying to survive.

Speaker A

I want to rock and roll all night.

Speaker A

Oh, you guys probably know that song.

Speaker A

And party every day.

Speaker A

I.

Speaker A

Okay, only a few old school rock and rollers here.

Speaker A

Probably you all are Beyonce fans.

Speaker A

And so, you know, they turn up the music and they're just trying to survive.

Speaker A

You know, it's as many physical experiences that you can create at the same time.

Speaker A

So taste, touch, smell.

Speaker A

It's everything through their physical being.

Speaker A

And it's like, how high can I get?

Speaker A

How drunk can I get?

Speaker A

How loud can the music get?

Speaker A

And I just have to survive all of the pain and anxiety and depression and brokenness of this life, and I am in control.

Speaker A

No, the thing about 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 14.

Speaker A

It says, the natural person, they do not accept the things of the spirit of God, for they are false foolishness.

Speaker A

They're absolutely ridiculous.

Speaker A

It's unreasonable and wildly unreasonable.

Speaker A

So the fact that you woke up today to go to church on a day you didn't have to go to work and you decided to take a shower and put on nice clothes and come here is wildly unreasonable to them.

Speaker A

And as a matter of fact, this Christmas, when you're with them, they might even tell you how crazy you are for giving your finances to the local church.

Speaker A

Now, never mind the fact that they spend their money on weed, alcohol, thc.

Speaker A

Never mind the fact that they give huge portions of their money to Panera Bread and to the local Applebee's.

Speaker A

But heaven forbid you support the local church.

Speaker A

Oh, come on.

Speaker A

We're gonna get sassy today.

Speaker A

We're gonna.

Speaker A

Faithful are the wounds of a friend.

Speaker A

I'd rather cut you with the truth than kiss you with a lie.

Speaker A

Amen.

Speaker A

Isn't it funny?

Speaker A

Doesn't it reveal that they're in this seat, that they're mad at you for giving your money to the church, but they support Bud Light.

Speaker A

Okay, I'm amongst friends, but this is a natural person.

Speaker A

So when you give your finances, that's a spiritual decision, and it says it's wildly unreasonable to them.

Speaker A

Some of you are serving on teams today, and you say, not only am I gonna go to church, but I'm gonna stay extra long and serve.

Speaker A

They're like, you are crazy.

Speaker A

You're a psychopath.

Speaker A

But see, they'll go to work, and they'll work overtime to get more money to fund more addictions.

Speaker A

But the natural person can't understand.

Speaker A

So they turn up the Beyonce.

Speaker A

Oh, the single ladies.

Speaker A

Oh, I don't know.

Speaker A

I just embarrass myself.

Speaker A

I don't know Beyonce.

Speaker A

But, you know, they turn up the music, they vape, they drink more alcohol.

Speaker A

They're trying to do whatever they can to survive.

Speaker A

And some of these people have great hearts.

Speaker A

They want to do the right thing, but they're lost.

Speaker A

Okay?

Speaker A

Many of you here are like, okay, Pastor Mike, that's not me.

Speaker A

I'm not that person.

Speaker A

Well, maybe you're the next person.

Speaker A

Okay, now, don't get too excited yet.

Speaker A

This is the carnal person.

Speaker A

Now, this is a carnal Christian, though.

Speaker A

And this.

Speaker A

Okay, now, am I your friend?

Speaker A

Do you promise to still love me when this is over?

Speaker A

Cause some of you might be like, pastor Dwayne, please don't ever bring him back.

Speaker A

This is a carnal Christian.

Speaker A

And the reality is, most of you are sitting in this seat.

Speaker A

Now, I say that out of love.

Speaker A

I know.

Speaker A

My name's Mike Signorelli.

Speaker A

You can call me Papa Siggs right now, because I'm gonna have to give you some uncomfortable truths.

Speaker A

But I'm doing it in love.

Speaker A

And the carnal Christian, this is one who's received Christ, but they live in defeat because he's trying to live.

Speaker A

He or she's trying to live that Christian life in their own strength.

Speaker A

So Jesus is in their life, but not on the throne.

Speaker A

Self is on the throne and self is directing the decisions and actions.

Speaker A

And it often results in frustration.

Speaker A

Okay, I got a verse for you.

Speaker A

First Corinthians, chapter three.

Speaker A

First Corinthians, chapter three, verse one through three.

Speaker A

And I, brethren, I could not speak to you as spiritual men, but as.

Speaker A

Okay, can I read it the way that I think the apostle wrote it?

Speaker A

Cause you know, the older I get and I've got a 16 year old here, Bella.

Speaker A

And you know, when you have teenagers and I pastor a multi site church and I'm raising up leaders and pastors, I started reading the Bible differently.

Speaker A

So I'm going to read a familiar passage with an unfamiliar revelation.

Speaker A

And I brethren, I couldn't speak to you as spiritual men, but as to men of the flesh, as infants whittle babies in Christ, I gave you milk to drink, not solid food, for you were not able to receive it.

Speaker A

Indeed, even now you're not yet able.

Speaker A

I have a 16 year old.

Speaker A

You're not ready to drive a car.

Speaker A

I can't even trust you with a cell phone.

Speaker A

You're just a widow teenager.

Speaker A

Bella, do you hear the language?

Speaker A

I wanna give you a car, but I have to learn to trust you with other things first.

Speaker A

You need to clean your room first.

Speaker A

See the apostle, he's speaking to the church and he's saying, I want to entrust you more, but I can't.

Speaker A

Now watch.

Speaker A

This is.

Speaker A

We're gonna go there.

Speaker A

O. I feel like y' all are ready for this.

Speaker A

Indeed, even now you're not able, for you are still fleshly.

Speaker A

Say the word fleshly.

Speaker A

Why?

Speaker A

For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly?

Speaker A

And are you not walking like mere men?

Speaker A

Oh, this is so good.

Speaker A

In churches all across America, we have made the milk and the meat.

Speaker A

How intellectually profound and articulate and deep can.

Speaker A

How much Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic and authorial intent and historic background can you give us?

Speaker A

That's the meat of the word.

Speaker A

No, that's not the meat of the word.

Speaker A

And people have even left churches and then said, I'm going to another church because this church doesn't teach the meat.

Speaker A

You know what's so ironic about people who say that they're taking that scripture out of context to say that you can't leave this church saying, well, we don't teach the meat of the word because according to the apostle, the meat of the word is not how articulately you communicate it and what kind of verbal linguistic gymnastics you can do with the language.

Speaker A

And wow, people, the meat of the word is how obedient to the spirit you are.

Speaker A

And so if you are surrendered and submitted to Jesus Christ through the person of the Holy Spirit, living a spirit filled life, now you are living the meat.

Speaker A

Does that make sense?

Speaker A

And so milk, because this is what it says.

Speaker A

For since there's jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly and are you not walking like mere men?

Speaker A

And so milk and meat, it's not deep preaching and shallow preaching.

Speaker A

It's spirit led living or carnal living.

Speaker A

Oh, come on.

Speaker A

We're going there today because the carnal Christians, they're no different than the unsaved people.

Speaker A

We have our music too.

Speaker A

We're just trying to get by.

Speaker A

How can I do it in my own strength that we turn up our music, shout to the Lord all the earth.

Speaker A

Okay, that's old school.

Speaker A

You unravel me with.

Speaker A

And so, oh, that's my jam.

Speaker A

I'm no longer a slave.

Speaker A

Y' all know that one.

Speaker A

See, what happens is the carnal Christian who's sitting in this seat, they're turning their music up too.

Speaker A

And they're saying, I need this music to get by.

Speaker A

I'm no longer a slave to fear.

Speaker A

And they're just turning their music up.

Speaker A

And then the person over here who's not a Christian is like, I wanna rock and roll all night.

Speaker A

And they're saying, oh, I understand why you're doing that.

Speaker A

We're doing the same thing.

Speaker A

And you're telling them, oh, no, no, no, you can't sing that music.

Speaker A

You gotta sing our music.

Speaker A

And they're saying, well, your music makes you feel better and my music makes me feel better, so what's the difference?

Speaker A

Oh, come on.

Speaker A

Oh, I'm going there today.

Speaker A

And then this person says, oh, you know, your unsafe friend.

Speaker A

They say, well, you have your church, I have the Kiwanis, the Key Club, the local ymca.

Speaker A

I have a community.

Speaker A

There's a lot of communities out there.

Speaker A

Oh, help me Lord, help me preach.

Speaker A

This I have aa.

Speaker A

I have.

Speaker A

You have your group, and I have my group.

Speaker A

What you're doing is no different than what I'm doing.

Speaker A

And then you say, no, no, but the church, it's different.

Speaker A

The church, it's special.

Speaker A

We should all come together.

Speaker A

We should worship and sing these songs.

Speaker A

And they're saying, yeah, we did that at the Taylor Swift concert.

Speaker A

You give your tithes and offering.

Speaker A

We buy tickets.

Speaker A

It's the same thing.

Speaker A

Oh, come on.

Speaker A

Do y' all still love me?

Speaker A

Okay, now watch.

Speaker A

And I, brethren, could not speak to you as spiritual men, but as to men of flesh.

Speaker A

As infants in Christ, I gave you milk to drink.

Speaker A

Not solid food, for you were not yet able to receive.

Speaker A

In so many churches across America, we have people that are still milk Christians.

Speaker A

Not because our worship's not good.

Speaker A

We have the best production we've ever had in human history.

Speaker A

Not because our sermons aren't amazing.

Speaker A

We have the best communicators in human history.

Speaker A

It's because we don't know the things of the spirit.

Speaker A

We've taken the spiritual things and we've dialed them in and made them as carnal as possible.

Speaker A

And the people of the world are saying, I don't want that.

Speaker A

It's not attractive to me.

Speaker A

Oh, parents, can I just tell you that Gen Z is not becoming more atheistic.

Speaker A

Gen Z is spiritual, but not religious.

Speaker A

Did you know they have a mobile app on their phone called TikTok?

Speaker A

And one of the most viral categories of it is witch talk.

Speaker A

Did you know that?

Speaker A

Because Gen Z is looking for the supernatural, they're looking for the spirit.

Speaker A

If you go into the grocery stores, if you go into the stores where they buy clothing, the impulse buy at the register is tarot cards so that they can learn how to read tarot cards.

Speaker A

Did you know this?

Speaker A

And so Gen Z is telling us, they're saying, we don't want dead dry religion, but we do want the supernatural.

Speaker A

And how many of you know the devil shows up parading as an angel of light, and he says, oh, I'll give you the supernatural.

Speaker A

And he gives them a counterfeit power.

Speaker A

And then here's the thing.

Speaker A

How many of you know that even networks of demons work together and they trade and exchange information?

Speaker A

And so even a psychic medium will be accurate not because they're hearing from God, but because they're hearing from a false spirit.

Speaker A

And so now we have carnal.

Speaker A

We have carnal.

Speaker A

We have carnal, fleshly people.

Speaker A

They're dead in their spirit.

Speaker A

They haven't accepted Christ, and they're just experiencing as many physical things as possible.

Speaker A

And then see, some of them are saying, but maybe the spiritual realm is real.

Speaker A

How do I access it?

Speaker A

And they love shows about ghosts and ghost hunters, and they love shows about the spiritual and the supernatural.

Speaker A

And they're getting into occult practices that.

Speaker A

And Pastor Duane mentioned influencers.

Speaker A

But how many of you know that there's influencers even within the realm of occult practices now?

Speaker A

And there's people that would have never heard about all of these other things.

Speaker A

But now because of the Internet, your kids are in their bedroom doing spiritual practices.

Speaker A

And then you have this Christian that's saying, I wish you would just go to this, and I wish you would just listen to this music and I wish you would go with the program.

Speaker A

But the problem is, to those who are spiritually dead, it looks the same.

Speaker A

Are you with me today?

Speaker A

To those who are spiritually dead, it looks exactly the same.

Speaker A

And so what must we do?

Speaker A

What's the next level?

Speaker A

We must learn how to operate in the spiritual realm.

Speaker A

Let me tell you a story from when I was a teenager.

Speaker A

I remember my mom, she's a single mom with five kids.

Speaker A

And she raised us and we struggled.

Speaker A

She got married multiple times to what became abusive stepfathers.

Speaker A

And so my childhood was spent between a trailer park in South Chicago and, you know, just subsidized housing in northwest Indiana.

Speaker A

And I remember we were just trying to survive and we weren't these people, but I think in a lot of ways we were these people.

Speaker A

And my mom said, well, we gotta go to church every week cause that's gonna help our family.

Speaker A

But then all of a sudden, we started learning the supernatural.

Speaker A

And when we started learning the supernatural and how to live a spirit filled life, things begin to change.

Speaker A

And I remember my mother, she got a diagnosis and I was a teenager and.

Speaker A

And the diagnosis she got was that she had tumors and cysts and that she needed to go into a surgery and they were gonna remove the tumors and cysts and she was gonna be bedridden.

Speaker A

And then that meant that our family was not gonna have any provider.

Speaker A

And you all know what happens next in those situations.

Speaker A

And so I remember saying, oh Lord, we're gonna lose our place where we stay.

Speaker A

We're gonna lose our house.

Speaker A

Everything's gonna be really, really bad.

Speaker A

We need a miracle.

Speaker A

How many of you know that impossible situations will force you to move out from being a carnal Christian to a Christian led by the Holy Spirit?

Speaker A

There's an activation that happens, you know, in those types of situations.

Speaker A

And I said, oh, God.

Speaker A

This is truly a test of what I believe and what I don't believe.

Speaker A

So something began to rise up inside of me as a teenager.

Speaker A

And we were at Masonic Hospital in Chicago and they were prepping my mom for the surgery.

Speaker A

And the surgeon came to meet with us and he said, hey, I just want to tell you it's going to be several hours.

Speaker A

When it's over, we'll come and get you and we'll give you an update.

Speaker A

I looked at that doctor and I said, when you open up my mother, you will not find any tumors or any cysts.

Speaker A

Oh, come on, you're clapping already.

Speaker A

So there must be some spirit filled believers in this place.

Speaker A

How many of you know that faith speaks and fear jumps?

Speaker A

How many of you know that the power of life and death is in your tongue?

Speaker A

How many of you know that spirit filled Christians know how to change an atmosphere by the words that they use?

Speaker A

And I was just new to this, I didn't know what I was doing.

Speaker A

And I just said.

Speaker A

And he goes, what did you say?

Speaker A

And I said, mm.

Speaker A

I said, when you open her up, you're not gonna find any tumors or any cysts.

Speaker A

Well, all of a sudden, hours went by and a person who worked for the hospital said, hey, the surgeon wants to speak with you in another room.

Speaker A

Well, here in America, when they take you to another room, that's often an indicator that your loved one passed away and they wanna prepare you to tell you they died.

Speaker A

So I was immediately filled with fear.

Speaker A

Have you ever had a moment where you say the right thing when it's time to say it, but then fear starts to creep in afterwards?

Speaker A

See, when you're sitting in this seat, there's gonna be a tug of war.

Speaker A

That's why the Bible says I do what I don't wanna do and what I don't wanna do.

Speaker A

Tug of war in this seat between the spirit and the flesh.

Speaker A

And see, I was in that moment where I was like, oh, Lord, I feel so much fear right now, thinking that they're bringing me into this other room to console me because my mother has died.

Speaker A

Instead, I come into the room and this doctor looks at me and he's like, tell me again what you said to me before the surgery.

Speaker A

And I said, well, I told you that when you open up my mother, you're not going to find any tumors or any cysts.

Speaker A

And he goes, okay, can we take a seat?

Speaker A

Come on, somebody.

Speaker A

And it was me and him, and he's sitting in the seat and he's like, Okay, I want to tell you what happened.

Speaker A

I went to go make the standard incision where we always make an incision.

Speaker A

And when I went to go make that incision, I heard my head nurse.

Speaker A

The head nurse said, no, don't cut her there.

Speaker A

You have to cut her in another spot, this other spot.

Speaker A

And I did it.

Speaker A

And when I did that, I realized that there was a main artery running another direction.

Speaker A

And if I would have cut your mother in the standard way we do all these surgeries, she would have hemorrhaged and bled out and died on the table.

Speaker A

So then I went to my head nurse and I said, hey, thank you for that information.

Speaker A

You really saved me today.

Speaker A

And the nurse looked up to me and said, I never said anything.

Speaker A

That's when they knew something was changed.

Speaker A

See, the atmosphere begins to change.

Speaker A

Something begins to happen.

Speaker A

There's worlds start colliding between the physical and the supernatural dimension.

Speaker A

You probably can feel the atmosphere changing right now.

Speaker A

Some of you are going to be healed even before this sermon is over.

Speaker A

God's about to do something in your body.

Speaker A

God's about to touch you.

Speaker A

I know that you came from all over today.

Speaker A

Expect God.

Speaker A

I feel the anointing.

Speaker A

But then he said, I gotta tell you, the next thing that happened, I open up your mother, and I.

Speaker A

And he goes, you understand?

Speaker A

I have all of the scans, I had all of the information, all the data.

Speaker A

But when I opened her up, there were no tumors and no cysts, and I had to close your mother up and send her away.

Speaker A

Can somebody shout Hallelujah if God is good?

Speaker A

And I said.

Speaker A

I said, well, it was Jesus Christ that did that.

Speaker A

And he said, well, I'm a Muslim.

Speaker A

You mean Jesus the prophet?

Speaker A

I said, no, Jesus the Messiah, the savior of the world, not Jesus the prophet.

Speaker A

Come on, somebody shout.

Speaker A

And I said, today I'm going to get you a Bible.

Speaker A

And I'm coming back with a Bible today for you.

Speaker A

And I gave that Muslim doctorate mistake, Masonic Hospital in Chicago, a Bible and said, welcome to the winning side.

Speaker A

This is when I started to really learn and understand that man.

Speaker A

Let me just tell you, young people, being one of these Christians is boring.

Speaker A

If you don't like being a Christian, you're doing it wrong.

Speaker A

The Christian life is an adventure.

Speaker A

It's a wonderful adventure where you wake up and Eugene Peterson, in the message translation, he gives a translation that you wake up and you say, what's next, dad?

Speaker A

What's next, Papa?

Speaker A

I mean, the life of a Christian is not the life of survival.

Speaker A

It's the life of thriving.

Speaker A

And when we turn that music up, it's not to drown out anxiety.

Speaker A

It's to say, in Grand Rapids as it is in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, God, today, what's gonna happen on the Spirit break out.

Speaker A

And carnal Christians, they simply don't understand this.

Speaker A

They don't understand this.

Speaker A

And I just want to tell you, if you're sitting in this seat, if you found yourself growing cold, cynical, one of the biggest indicators that you're sitting in this seat is you become a critic.

Speaker A

We don't need more bloggers.

Speaker A

We need more prophets and evangelists and shepherds and people flooding the streets.

Speaker A

We don't need more blogs.

Speaker A

We need more prophecies and words in the street.

Speaker A

And we need people to rise up.

Speaker A

But when you're sitting in this seat, you always have a complaint.

Speaker A

You know, I would rather be a chef than a food critic, I'd rather be an author than a literary critic, and I'd rather be a burning one than a lukewarm Christian.

Speaker A

Anybody with me on that?

Speaker A

Because when you're.

Speaker A

You know, when I first moved to New York and I want to honor Pastor Duane, he really believed in me in a time where probably not many people believed in me.

Speaker A

And I remember when I moved to New York City, I was.

Speaker A

You know, the pastors there, they told me the average Weekly attendance is 30 people.

Speaker A

And they thought they were helping me.

Speaker A

They said, we just want to protect your expectations.

Speaker A

I said, protect my expectations?

Speaker A

What kind of language is that?

Speaker A

I saw Moses stood in front of the Red Sea and it parted.

Speaker A

I serve a God that does the miraculous.

Speaker A

What do you mean?

Speaker A

And they said, well, we've been out here.

Speaker A

You don't know New York.

Speaker A

See, carnal Christians will put Saul's armor on you before you fight Goliath.

Speaker A

And it was David who said, I don't prove that armor.

Speaker A

I know he delivered me from the paw of the lion and the bear, and surely this uncircumcised Philistine.

Speaker A

And see, what they didn't realize is I was going to New York City, where there's a whole bunch of Muslims, But I've already seen God save a Muslim in northwest Indiana and Chicago before I moved to New York City.

Speaker A

How many of you know that?

Speaker A

You've got a radio reference your past, to know your future.

Speaker A

God gave you a victory back then.

Speaker A

He's going to give you a victory again.

Speaker A

He's going to do it again.

Speaker A

He was faithful.

Speaker A

He healed you back then.

Speaker A

He's going to heal you again.

Speaker A

He saved you.

Speaker A

Surely he can save your family members.

Speaker A

But carnal Christians, they can't understand this because the warfare and the battle of the mind, that's why the apostle is saying, I really wanted to speak to you as spiritual men, but you're really men of flesh.

Speaker A

You're infants in Christ.

Speaker A

And I really feel like this is a wake up call for many of you who are sitting in this seat.

Speaker A

You know so much, it's time to activate it.

Speaker A

I moved to New York City and all of a sudden, you know, these pastors, they told me what could and couldn't happen.

Speaker A

And we're having movie theater, church, and that was the only venue that I could get.

Speaker A

And I was one sermon, I was talking about God as a father.

Speaker A

And I said, if you want to receive God as your heavenly father, just raise your hand.

Speaker A

And I look all the way up into the balcony and there's this beautiful big brown man waving me down like he's trying to land an airplane.

Speaker A

And I was like, well, that's not necessarily the Christian way to do that.

Speaker A

Usually we just raise one hand.

Speaker A

But that man really wants God.

Speaker A

After the service was over, and I had led everybody to Christ through Romans, chapter 10, verse 9, Confess with your mouth.

Speaker A

Believe in your heart, you will be saved.

Speaker A

All of a sudden, I met him on our mezzanine and he said, hey, it's so nice to meet you, Pastor.

Speaker A

My name's Ayush.

Speaker A

I said, ayush, where are you from?

Speaker A

He's like, well, my family's from India.

Speaker A

And he said, we're multi generational Hindus.

Speaker A

And I said, well, today really messed that up for you, didn't it?

Speaker A

I said, what happened?

Speaker A

Because when I said, who wants to accept Christ?

Speaker A

You were waving me down.

Speaker A

And he said, oh, he goes, recently my dad died.

Speaker A

And in Hinduism, we watched the body burn for hours and hours.

Speaker A

And it's a form of mourning that we go through.

Speaker A

And he said, the whole time I was watching my dad's body burn, I kept thinking to myself, I'll never have a father again.

Speaker A

I'll be fatherless for the rest of my life.

Speaker A

And he said, when I came to church, I've been severely depressed and I've been grieving, I've been in a mourning season.

Speaker A

And one of my friends said, you've gotta come to church, just try it.

Speaker A

And I got into church and you were saying, you can have a father, you can have a heavenly father.

Speaker A

If you're orphaned, if you're broken, if you come from abuse and trauma like I did, you can have a father.

Speaker A

And he said, you were speaking right into the pain.

Speaker A

And that's when I knew, I need Jesus.

Speaker A

So that Hindu became a Christian through the adoption of Jesus Christ.

Speaker A

And Ayush became saved.

Speaker A

Weeks later, I baptized Ayush.

Speaker A

And I just love seeing people who've never been a part of church do some of our church stuff because they don't even know how to do it right.

Speaker A

And it's amazing.

Speaker A

I baptized him and I put him under that water, and when he came up, he shot up 8ft like free Willy out of that water.

Speaker A

And he just screamed, woo.

Speaker A

This is amazing.

Speaker A

This is the best feeling of my life.

Speaker A

The joy of my salvation.

Speaker A

Some of you have lost the joy of your salvation when you sit in this seat.

Speaker A

Oh, Lord, help me.

Speaker A

I'm gonna turn this way so I don't offend you.

Speaker A

When you sit in this seat, you will exchange the joy of your salvation for the criticisms of being a professional Christian.

Speaker A

I don't want to be a professional Christian.

Speaker A

I don't want to ever get better at Christianity.

Speaker A

I want to get better at being surrendered to the Holy Spirit.

Speaker A

I want to submit and surrender to him and say, God, whoever you want me to be, however you want me to live, I want to live that way.

Speaker A

I don't ever want to be a professional.

Speaker A

Matter of fact, for as many people as I lead to Christ on the stages of V1 church, I always go into the streets and say, God, without a piano player behind me, can I still lead them to you?

Speaker A

Oh, and they cuss me out in New York City and I say, oh, I love being persecuted.

Speaker A

I know Peter doesn't respect me yet, but he will one day.

Speaker A

Why do I say this?

Speaker A

Because I want to move you out of this seat today.

Speaker A

This is not why you submitted and surrendered your life to Jesus Christ to sit in this seat full of.

Speaker A

I hope they come out with a new song.

Speaker A

I hope Bethel and Upper Room and Hillsong come out with a new song.

Speaker A

I hope Elevation Church comes out with a new song.

Speaker A

I hope we have another conference.

Speaker A

I hope that they hype me up with another feel good message.

Speaker A

You did not sit in this seat because this seat is all about emotions.

Speaker A

It's all about feeling.

Speaker A

It's all about your mind.

Speaker A

It's all about what you can experience through that realm.

Speaker A

And it makes us not that much different than these people.

Speaker A

But there's one more seat, and this is the seat that I came here today to move you into the seat.

Speaker A

And can I just tell you, when the scriptures Say that broad is the road and many people will walk on it.

Speaker A

Do you see now that there's even gonna be people who cast out demons in the name of Jesus and they're gonna do these amazing things and the Lord's gonna say, depart from me, for I never knew.

Speaker A

You see how broad this road is?

Speaker A

And very few people will ever get to this seat.

Speaker A

But I think that we can get a whole auditorium, people and everybody watching online in this seat today.

Speaker A

Because in this seat, it's, try harder, be a better Christian.

Speaker A

Oh, I messed up.

Speaker A

I can't go to church and show my face because I was vaping and smoking and drinking with this person.

Speaker A

I have to try harder.

Speaker A

I have to fast, I have to pray.

Speaker A

I got a dear woman in my church, and she came to growth track after church one day, and she said, pastor Mike, she said, I've been fasting, I've been praying.

Speaker A

I've been reading my Bible more.

Speaker A

She said, I've been giving.

Speaker A

I said, praise God.

Speaker A

She said, I've been serving more.

Speaker A

I said, praise God.

Speaker A

And she said, I've been doing all these things as much as I could because I want to receive the gift of tongues.

Speaker A

And I haven't received the gift of tongues to speak in other languages according to the Spirit.

Speaker A

Why is that, Pastor Mike?

Speaker A

And what she was revealing is that she was sitting in this seat.

Speaker A

I said, if you did all that work, it wouldn't be the gift of the Spirit, it would be the reward of the spirit.

Speaker A

It's not the rewards of the spirit, it's the gifts of the spirit.

Speaker A

If you can earn it, it's a reward.

Speaker A

But you can't earn it.

Speaker A

You only receive it.

Speaker A

Can I just tell you, if you're sitting in the seat, you're always trying to earn it.

Speaker A

You're always trying to try harder, push harder.

Speaker A

But there's another way.

Speaker A

Can I show you the last and final seat?

Speaker A

See, this seat, you actually don't sit in it at all.

Speaker A

This seat you reserve for the king and you get down on your knees.

Speaker A

Oh, I'm talking to the blue collar construction working men whose knees hurt from laying tile.

Speaker A

I'm talking to the mothers that are changing diapers and raising kids.

Speaker A

And I'm talking to the white collar professionals in suits right now.

Speaker A

You don't sit in this seat.

Speaker A

You bow before the one who does and you say, jesus, you're worthy of praise.

Speaker A

I worship you and you alone.

Speaker A

God, you are the true and living God, and I worship you.

Speaker A

Like Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, I have an inheritance and God, if you can do anything with my family, do it.

Speaker A

God.

Speaker A

In this seat, you say, I've been grafted in.

Speaker A

And God, I want to be that bloodline generational curse breaker.

Speaker A

There's some things that run in my family, but I am where they run out.

Speaker A

Come on.

Speaker A

Can somebody shout if you know what I'm talking about?

Speaker A

This is how you win the war, by waving your white flag and saying, I was an enemy to God.

Speaker A

I was against everything that you stand for.

Speaker A

But my family name is going to mean the name of Jesus Christ.

Speaker A

There's no more Signorelli.

Speaker A

There are just children bought by the blood of the lamb.

Speaker A

In this seat, they're fighting addiction.

Speaker A

In this seat, they're fighting addiction.

Speaker A

But on your knees, addiction is broken.

Speaker A

In Jesus name.

Speaker A

In this seat, it's, oh, how.

Speaker A

How much medication can I have?

Speaker A

In this seat, it's by his stripes I am healed right here.

Speaker A

There's something about this.

Speaker A

First Corinthians begins to break this down.

Speaker A

It says, but the spiritual man, the spiritually mature Christian judges all things, questions, and examines and applies what the holy Spirit reveals.

Speaker A

Somebody say the word reveal, yet himself is judged by no one.

Speaker A

The unbeliever cannot judge and understand the believer's spiritual nature.

Speaker A

For who has known the mind and the purposes of the Lord so as to instruct him?

Speaker A

Another scripture says, his ways are higher than our ways.

Speaker A

His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

Speaker A

Can I just tell you, if you will step into the spiritual dimension and say, jesus, take me by the hand.

Speaker A

He will teach you to walk by the spirit if you will let him take your hand.

Speaker A

There are some things that your mother never got freedom for, but you will.

Speaker A

There are some things that your grandmother and great grandmother never got freedom from, but you will.

Speaker A

There's some things that run through the bloodline on your father's side that your father and grandfather and great grandfather never got freedom from.

Speaker A

But you will be the first because you say, God, I submit and surrender my genetic code, my bloodline, my inheritance.

Speaker A

And I want to be saved, switched into a new inheritance by the gospel.

Speaker A

And I want to be what you want me to be.

Speaker A

God.

Speaker A

There's no other explanation for why a trailer park welfare kid is standing in front of you than the blood of Jesus.

Speaker A

Oh, we're getting ready to pray in a few moments.

Speaker A

Recently I did a genealogy and I spent money to have them trace my line back because I said, surely there's got to be something redeemable on one of the sides of my family.

Speaker A

Do you know That I got the report back, and when I got it back, premature death on both sides.

Speaker A

When I got it back, all kinds of dysfunction, jail, all these kinds of things.

Speaker A

And I said, lord, I thought in my bloodline I was gonna find something significant, clear as day.

Speaker A

The holy spirit said, oh, you did.

Speaker A

It was me.

Speaker A

You thought that your ancestors were gonna make you feel special.

Speaker A

But I actually am.

Speaker A

What is uncommon?

Speaker A

I'm what's uncommon.

Speaker A

And God will take the common and make it uncommon.

Speaker A

The Bible says he takes the foolish things of the world to confound the wise.

Speaker A

He'll take somebody simple and give them the gift of knowledge.

Speaker A

He'll take someone that's unlearned to give them the gift of wisdom.

Speaker A

Why?

Speaker A

So that Jesus receives all of the glory.

Speaker A

And so here's my question to every single one of you.

Speaker A

Who's next?

Speaker A

Which one of you are gonna surrender and say, okay, Lord, I'm ready.

Speaker A

I'm ready to burn for you.

Speaker A

I'm ready to live for you.

Speaker A

I'm ready to submit and surrender to you.

Speaker A

I'm ready.

Speaker A

Now watch.

Speaker A

Galatians, chapter 5, verse 16.

Speaker A

And just for a moment, could you just stand to your feet, because I want to pray over you.

Speaker A

Galatians, chapter 5, verse 16 says, but I say walk.

Speaker A

Everybody say that with me.

Speaker A

Walk by the spirit.

Speaker A

Come on, say it again.

Speaker A

Walk by the spirit.

Speaker A

Come on, one more time.

Speaker A

Walk by the spirit.

Speaker A

This is your destiny.

Speaker A

It says, walk by the spirit.

Speaker A

And you will not gratify the desires of the flesh, for the desires of the flesh are against the spirit, and the desires of the spirit are against the the flesh.

Speaker A

For these are opposed to each other to keep you from doing the things that you want to do.

Speaker A

On the V1 church livestream, months ago, my friend EJ was leading worship, and he was singing, and I thought he was singing in tongues.

Speaker A

And I said, oh, this is so beautiful.

Speaker A

What an incredible experience.

Speaker A

So I came on stage as the lead pastor, and I said, ej, keep singing.

Speaker A

Keep singing, keep singing.

Speaker A

When it was over, he came to me.

Speaker A

He said, pastor Mike, he said, thank you so much for that moment.

Speaker A

I never sang in tongues before.

Speaker A

I said, tongues?

Speaker A

I thought you were speaking Spanish.

Speaker A

He said, no, I was singing in tongues.

Speaker A

I thought it was Spanish.

Speaker A

I thought he was singing in Spanish.

Speaker A

And all of a sudden, while we were still talking, his sister sent him a message and said, hey, ej, since when did you learn Portuguese?

Speaker A

And he said, I don't know Portuguese.

Speaker A

He said, I'm watching the V1 church livestream, and you're leading worship and you're singing a phrase in Portuguese over and over and over again.

Speaker A

He said, I thought I was singing in tongues.

Speaker A

I'm here with Pastor Mike talking about it.

Speaker A

What was I saying?

Speaker A

And she typed him back the phrase you were saying.

Speaker A

I give all of my adoration to you.

Speaker A

The gifts of the Spirit are real, but you've got to know the gift giver to receive the gift.

Speaker A

You know what I want more than a healing.

Speaker A

I want the healer.

Speaker A

Do you know what I want more than deliverance?

Speaker A

I want the deliverer.

Speaker A

Because when you have Jesus, you have it all.

Speaker A

And when you know him, he'll distribute gifts to you and things will begin to unlock and you'll go into the job and suddenly you'll have a knowledge about something to say, say to somebody.

Speaker A

And the tears will begin to fall down their face and they will begin to accept Jesus.

Speaker A

We need to open up into the spiritual realm.

Speaker A

And how do we do that?

Speaker A

Somebody say it with me.

Speaker A

Walk by the Spirit.

Speaker A

I want to do this with everybody's eyes wide open.

Speaker A

If you're ready to commit your life to Jesus Christ, just lift up one of your hands right now.

Speaker A

Is there anybody here?

Speaker A

Like, ayush.

Speaker A

Is there anybody?

Speaker A

I want to live.

Speaker A

I want to lift my life up to Jesus.

Speaker A

Just lift your hand.

Speaker A

Come on.

Speaker A

I see you.

Speaker A

Wow.

Speaker A

Seeing a lot of men, it's amazing.

Speaker A

Yeah, come on, we can celebrate that.

Speaker A

We're going to pray in a moment all over this auditorium.

Speaker A

Now, is there anybody else that says, I don't want to sit in the seat.

Speaker A

I don't want to be a car carnal Christian.

Speaker A

Just lift your hands, both of them, to heaven.

Speaker A

Right now, we're going to begin to pray.

Speaker A

And I believe that as I pray and you pray with me, that not only are you going to be ignited with the fire of the Holy Spirit, but you're going to rededicate your life to Christ.

Speaker A

You're going to join with those who are making the decision right now for the very first time.

Speaker A

I believe that physical bodies will be healed.

Speaker A

I believe that minds will be restored.

Speaker A

I believe that purpose will be realized and the chaos will be broken and turn into clarity in your life.

Speaker A

Everybody just say this with me.

Speaker A

Say, heavenly Father, I give you my whole life, my past, my pain, my trauma.

Speaker A

I give you my physical body.

Speaker A

I hold nothing back.

Speaker A

Wash me with your blood.

Speaker A

Forgive me of my sins.

Speaker A

I submit and surrender to you.

Speaker A

Have your way in my life.

Speaker A

And Father, right now, I give all to you.

Speaker A

Come on, let me pray for you guys right now.

Speaker A

Father, I pray for every physical body touch and heal their body from every pain.

Speaker A

Father, I thank you for tumors and cysts and cancer dying in the name of Jesus right now.

Speaker A

For deaf ears opening and hearing increasing right now.

Speaker A

God, that you would just touch their backs and all arthritis and everything that they're struggling with.

Speaker A

And I thank you for miracles right now in Jesus name all across this place.

Speaker A

Can somebody just shout Amen?

Speaker A

Amen.

Speaker A

Come on, let's give 20 seconds of praise to the Lord.

Speaker A

Let's celebrate what he did.

Speaker A

So saved, bodies healed.

Speaker A

Come on, shout unto Jesus.
