How to Activate The Gifts of The Holy Spirit

We're gonna be talking about the gifts of the Spirit.

Is there anybody excited about that?

Okay.

The gifts of the Spirit.

And we're gonna do a deep dive into that, and I'm gonna tell you some of the most incredible stories from my ministry as I've learned how to operate in the gifts of the Spirit.

Now, let me just start by saying this.

You cannot earn the gifts of the Spirit.

I had this precious old woman from our church.

She came up to me.

She said, pastor Mike, she said, I've been praying.

I. I've been fasting.

I've been giving money.

I've been volunteering.

I'm doing all those things, and I still have not yet received the gift of tongues.

Tell me why.

And I told her, I said, if you receive the gift of tongues after doing all of that, it would be the rewards of the Spirit, not the gifts of the Spirit.

Come on.

Is that good?

So it's not the rewards of the Spirit, it's the gifts of the Spirit.

Before we jump into the scriptures, can I go a little bit deeper than that?

So the thing that you need to understand is that if you can earn it, it's a reward, but you receive it because it's a gift.

In all of my experience, the people who have the hardest time receiving gifts of the Spirit are the ones who give the most to others.

This is a profound revelation.

I've traveled all over the world, and there's been many people who are like, I haven't received the gift of tongues.

I haven't received the gift of prophecy.

I haven't received the gift of healing.

Why is it.

And I've really deduced that these are the people that serve the most, give the most.

And so it's hard to give a gift to the person who has their whole identity in giving other people gifts.

Does that make sense?

So oftentimes, the people who are the strongest in the area of giving gifts, whether that's single mothers, whether that's fathers over their home, and they're working to provide, they have the hardest time receiving gifts because they give gifts.

And so because it's a mystery, how could I be empowered by the God of the universe to operate accurately in prophecy?

And I'm just a simple person.

It's like an identity issue.

Well, I just want to help other people.

And the Lord will say, no, I want to give you this gift so that you can help them through my Spirit to a greater degree.

So we're going to start in First Corinthians, chapter 12, verses 12 through 31.

So First Corinthians 12, 12, 31.

It says, now you are the body of Christ.

Do we have the body of Christ here?

And each one of you has a part of it.

Turn to your neighbor and say, I have a part.

Now poke them and say, you have a part too.

We all have a part.

And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then the gift of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues.

Here's the question.

Look at verse 29.

Are all apostles?

Are all prophets?

Are all teachers?

Do all work miracles?

Do all have the gifts of healing?

Do all speak in tongues?

Do all interpret?

What's the answer to those questions?

Obviously, no.

Oh, thank you.

An emergency sweat cloth.

Thank you so much, man of God.

So the answer is clearly no.

We're not all apostles.

We're not all preachers, we're not all pastors, we're not all moving in miracles.

So that means that some will receive different gifts and some will distribute those gifts to others through the administration of laying on hands.

But here's the most important part of this entire scripture, and I want you to understand on the deepest level what this means.

Verse 31.

Now eagerly desire the greater gifts.

Let's say that together.

Now eagerly desire the greater gifts.

Let's say it one more time.

Now eagerly desire the greater gifts.

Another translation says, yearn to possess with sincere and intense conviction.

Yearn to possess.

Say the phrase, yearn to possess.

Yearn to possess.

So here's the thing.

Now this is gonna get a little scandalous, so stay with me.

What are some things in your life that you have yearned to possess?

I remember the very first time.

I was 21 years old, maybe 20 years old.

And I used to be a musician.

And, well, I'm still a musician, but I used to play music and perform.

And I was looking down into the crowd and I saw this curly headed, five foot three, blondish brown haired girl, and I yearned to possess her.

I was looking the whole crowd, I said, that's the one, Lord, there she is.

And I went up to her after the concert.

I thought it was a big deal, you know, I played this concert for everyone and I said, hey, you know, I'd like to take you out sometime.

And she said, no, I'm sorry, I'm dating Jesus.

I said, jesus, who is that?

Where is he?

Let me talk to him.

And then I asked her out three more times and she turned me down every time.

And then I said, okay, well, I'M yearning to possess.

So I'm gonna increase my tenacity.

I'm gonna go a little bit further now.

And so, you know, I basically just stalked her a little bit.

Sorry, Jules.

And then I said, well, okay, if you won't give me your number, give me your email address.

And she was like, you're a psychopath, but here's my email address.

So then I gave her my email, or she gave me her email address.

I went back to college, and I would email her.

And then finally, after making her laugh via email, I said, well, let me call you.

And then we got on the phone.

And then I said from the phone, I went to a coffee date.

I said, well, no, it's not a date.

We're just getting coffee.

Smooth.

Some of these single guys, you need to take notes right now.

Come up, talk to me.

This guy back here got delivered.

So we went to coffee, and I made her laugh so hard, the coffee came out of her nose.

And when that happened, I said, I got her.

You know, because when you make a woman laugh, that's.

It's over.

It's over.

And now she's my wife.

I like how you guys are clapping.

You did it way out of your league.

So why do I say this, though?

Yearn to possess.

Say it again.

Yearn to possess.

So when we yearn to possess something, we go to great lengths.

We.

It's.

There's an intensity level to it.

So we yearn, we don't earn.

We yearn, we don't earn.

We long to desire it, but there's nothing that we do to earn it.

So here's the thing.

I can't.

Oh, I feel the power of God on this teaching.

I yearned to be married to Julie, but it was Julie's grace to say, yes, I'll desire to be in relationship with you.

I couldn't force her to be in a relationship.

I couldn't handcuff her and throw her in the backseat of my car.

I had to.

I longed for it, but I yearned for it, but didn't earn it.

So it was an act of grace when Julie said, yes, I'll go out to coffee with you.

Does this make sense?

So you can yearn for prophecy, but you can't earn prophecy.

It will be the Holy Spirit that says, yes, I've graced you for this.

So I want to make the distinction between yearn and earn.

And probably no pastor or minister has ever taught you that before.

So I want to make sure.

Because what will happen is people will fast and they'll try to buy it, and you can't do that.

Okay, how many of you ready to keep plunging deeper with the.

Okay, I want to give you a little two ways to understand the gifts of the Spirit, Two ways to understand it.

Number one, there's many different ways to experience the love of the Father through his people.

So why does he give different gifts to different people?

It's a different way for you to experience the Father's love through people.

Oh, this is very cruel.

You see how quiet it got?

Nobody shouted.

Let me tell you why nobody shouted at that.

Because when you've been wounded by other people, you want to receive love straight from the Father.

But part of your healing is him giving a gift to another human.

So you must receive from them.

You.

It's through them.

It's from him through them.

And there's a lot of people who don't want a local church.

There's a lot of people who don't want a pastor because they want to receive directly from Him.

And they're not revealing how deep they are.

They're revealing how wounded they are.

So the thing that God does, and it's almost like a righteous cruelty, is that he will.

He will place his gifts inside of broken people just like you, and then have those broken people minister to other broken people.

And God will do that for your healing.

You were hurt by a man.

He will use another man to heal you.

Did you know that whatever area in life that you were wounded is the very area that God will use to heal you.

If you are hurt by a church, it's going to be a church that heals you.

If you were hurt by a pastor, it'll be a pastor.

Well, how do I know this?

The first Adam fell.

So God did not send a dinosaur to redeem us.

And he didn't send a giraffe.

He sent another man.

It wasn't a different species.

It was the same species.

It was the first Adam fell, so the second Adam redeemed it.

And so the gifts of the Spirit, the wisdom of God through the gifts of the Spirit, is that he gives the gifts to people that are a type and a shadow of those that hurt you in previous situations.

And he uses it to actually heal you double.

It's a very incredible thing.

Very incredible thing.

Because people say, why can't Jesus just descend down and minister directly?

Because for some of you, that would reinforce your own wounds.

Because you can go to the person Jesus and not have to go through the person that he gave the gift to.

Oh, this is not the talk on the gifts of the Spirit that you expected, is it?

I mean.

I mean, come on.

I'm gonna love you all the way to your next level right now.

Okay, Number two, this is important.

For the gifts of the Spirit, Each gift opens up another way to experience his love.

And I'm gonna talk about that.

So I know many of you are taking notes.

Each gift opens up another way to experience the love of Christ.

Each gift opens up.

Man, I'm so glad that I get to deposit this into you.

I'm so grateful.

Matter of fact, the teaching that we're going through right now.

Oh, I wish that I was able to teach this to the nations.

I wish that I was able to get to them first.

Because we've taught gifts as a source of power and not a source of Christ's love.

We have taught.

Oh, I'm speaking.

I mean, this is rich.

We have taught the gifts of the Spirit as a source of power, but not a source of his love.

And when you operate in power without love, that's called witchcraft.

I'm revelating right now.

Power without the love of the Father is witchcraft.

It's an incantation, not a prophecy.

It's a spell.

You're spell casting.

Because what happens is when you operate in the gifts of the spirit, you are actually being emboldened and empowered to reinforce the spirit by which you are operating, in which is the Holy Spirit.

And.

And you will feel his compassion, and you will feel his love, even in prophetic rebuke, even in deliverance.

Last night, okay, people came to me and they said in the U.K. people have told me that we'll never see deliverance.

Mass deliverance.

A thousand people.

You had hundreds of people manifesting demons from front to back.

And people said we would never see that.

But we saw it last night.

But I want to tell you, I somehow got elevated into this realm of notoriety, and I'm referred to as a demon slayer.

Some of you know my friends, like Vlad Sovchuk and Isaiah Saldivar and Alexander Pagani and them great men of God.

But they will tell you the thing that struck them when they started to minister with me is that when deliverance begins to break out like it did last night, the aroma of God's love permeates the atmosphere.

And there's many times where I've seen people do deliverance.

And it's almost a satanic atmosphere.

It feels dark and foreboding, and it has this evil presence to it.

But the one thing that my peers in the deliverance realm acknowledged.

They said, mike, it's so different when you're doing deliverance because the love of the Father just permeates.

It saturates.

And people are simultaneously weeping and receiving deep inner healing while they're being delivered from demons.

Demons, it doesn't feel evil.

Can you affirm that last night?

So what happens?

And this is partly why in New York City, which is a very non Christian environment, I'm not in the Bible Belt, let me just tell you.

I can take you to some places in America that's like little Jerusalem.

Everybody's a Christian in Tulsa, Oklahoma or Dallas Metroplex.

When TD Jakes said the Lord called me to Dallas, I said, did he really?

TD Jakes kidding.

But in New York City, less than 3% of people identify as a Christian at all, which means significantly less than that spirit filled true believers.

But even unsaved people who were here last night would have seen demons manifesting but felt the love of the heavenly Father.

And it would have provoked them to a place of surrender and repentance.

And so that number two, when it says each gift or opens up another way to experience his love.

If you prophesy, even in a hard.

I mean, I've given hard prophetic words and that's the designation of authority that you have.

I wouldn't suggest you start there, start with exhortation, start with encouragement.

But as God's increased me into an apostolic realm of authority to administrate the body of Christ, I've had to give hard words and people have wept and they've said, I feel the Father's heart even through a rebuke.

And so it's very difficult for me to see Pentecostalism today, which, number one, has divorced itself from proper theology and number two has divorced itself from the love of the Father.

So I'm on a mission to be fully the Word and fully Spirit.

And I'm on a mission to reintroduce the love of the Father in the midst of the gifts he gives.

Are you with me on that mission?

Come on.

So let's now look at First Corinthians, chapter 12, verse 4.

Now, there are diversity of gifts, but the same Spirit.

Everybody say same spirit.

Diversities here, they mean variety, they mean a distinction and they mean a difference.

And you know, our world is ready for this because we have movies like the Avengers, Endgame, and everybody has different skills.

You know, you have Spider Man, Iron Man, Hulk, and they're all different, but they team together.

And the Lord spoke to me with those Movies coming out, because whatever movies are successful in culture is always a reflection of the values of the people.

And you go back 30 years and you only had a Batman movie.

It was Batman was the hero.

And if you look at Christianity 30 years ago, you had just one man of God and they would be ministering to the masses, the Reinhardt Bonnkes and those type of men that you had, these really statesmanly like guys.

But then now the culture is telling us there, there's a value for team.

Because when you watch the movies that are the most successful, they're all superheroes within a team.

So, and I'm speaking to somebody right now, prophetically, we must learn how to administrate team and put together the joining together of team gifts.

Because it's as we honor each other's distinctions and differences that we unlock the fullness of what God has.

It's not competition, it's celebration.

I don't compete with you because it's the administration.

By the same spirit, I celebrate you because where I'm deficient, you are strong.

And where I am strong, you are deficient.

And together we have it all.

You see that?

And so the world understands this.

And they make movies like the Avengers.

But the churches, we're still trying to do it alone.

So we must work.

I said I wasn't going to preach.

You guys are provoking me.

So there's nine gifts that are listed.

And I want you to, for the sake of your notes, there's three, three and three.

I want you to think about them in divisions of 3, 3, 3 and 3.

So there's nine gifts.

So the first three, very simply, the category is to say something.

The first three.

The category is to say something.

To say something.

Prophecy, tongues, interpretation of tongues.

That's to say something.

Prophecy, tongues, the interpretation of tongues.

I feel in my spirit as I'm teaching this, that this may be one of the most significant teachings that's ever happened in somebody's life.

Because I feel that there is going to be a mobilization of these gifts after this teaching.

I can feel it in my spirit.

So the first three are to say something.

The second.

The second set of three is to know something.

It's to know something.

These are revelation gifts, Wisdom, knowledge and discerning of spirits.

I love the gifts of the spirit.

So fun.

I tell people, if you're bored as a Christian, you're doing it the wrong way.

It gets so much more exciting.

Right when I thought I've seen everything, the Lord does something else.

And I'm like, this Is amazing.

I can't even hardly hold back.

Okay, the second three is to know something, and the third three are to do something.

The power, gifts to do something, faith healings and the workings of miracles.

So say something, know something, do something.

Is that simple enough to digest?

Because people over complicate this way over complicated.

So can I break down the three categories briefly?

Do you guys have a little bit more time?

Okay, so prophecy, tongues, interpretation of tongues.

It's to say something.

So the Lord wants to open your mouth.

Now let me give you a profound revelation about this.

The average person thinks when I receive something, I'll say something.

But that requires no faith.

The gifts of the spirit.

In order to operate in the eternal realm, which is the unseen realm, you must first learn how to operate in faith.

And so almost 100% of the time that you've seen me prophesy over someone, I have not had a word until I opened my mouth and started speaking.

You don't prophesy when you receive a word.

You receive a word when you prophesy.

And I'll tell you the very first time.

So this is prophecy, tongues, and interpretation of tongues.

You know, the very first time that I begin to prophesy over someone, it actually started as a prayer of encouragement.

And as I begin to encourage them, prophecy just leapt out of me and there's no striving for it oftentimes.

What will happen again when it's motivated by the love of the Father, you will feel his love for them, and you'll begin to minister encouragement to them.

And then further from that place, things will begin to leap out of you, and then you'll know the secret.

The secret is it's Jesus trying to animate your mortal body to minister to them.

And you are only the facilitator.

That's why we say I decrease so that he increases through me.

No matter how much I think I love all the people who came last night, Jesus loves them so much, he died for them.

And so as I'm pouring and ministering, I can feel him saying, let me get this Polish, Italian, Italian, North African, British body to do my will.

That's, you know, I'm a mutt.

I don't know if you can tell that's my.

My gene.

So he's.

He, the Holy Spirit in me is trying to get me to do his will for the people.

So what happens is prophecy, tongues, and interpretation of tongues will begin to do that.

Let me go deeper about tongues.

Wave at me if you speak in tongues.

Okay, Most of you all right, I just filmed an episode with Sid Roth on speaking in tongues, and it was an incredible episode.

And he actually told his story almost identical to the story I'm about to tell you from my life.

I was taking Italian in college, and as I was taking Italian, kind of like relearning my roots, all of a sudden I was speaking in tongues, interceding one morning, and my tongue started to sound eerily familiar to the class that I was taking in Italian.

So phonetically, I sounded them out, and I tried to actually type them out.

So I printed them.

And this is me being incredibly bold, and I took them back to my professor, and I said, hey, I have a question for you.

You know, I have an Italian heritage.

This is phonetic, but I'll try to say it for you, and I want you to try to read it and tell me if this means anything in Italian.

And all of a sudden, she's sounding it out, and she's like, yeah, absolutely.

She's like, but where did you get this?

And I'm like, you don't want to know.

And she goes, well, the reason why I'm asking is because this is an archaic.

Like, an old form of Italian that's not spoken anymore, and historians study this Italian.

And I said, well, what does it mean?

And she's like, well, the only part that doesn't make sense is I think this is a name, the name Sarah.

And she says, what it's saying is, sarah, I will wash you clean.

Sarah, I will make you pure.

My sister's name is Sarah.

My sister had backslidden.

At that moment, I was interceding for my sister, and the Holy Spirit in me was saying, sarah, I will wash you clean.

Sarah, I will make you pure.

And sang it in ancient Italian.

And she has Italian heritage.

The Holy Spirit was speaking into the root system of that dysfunction.

He was speaking into the very DNA level of that ancestry.

And you know, Sid Roth's story, and you'll see this when it goes live on television, is that he was just newly saved.

And there was this woman who had a miscarriage, and they were praying for her because the baby was still in her womb.

And.

And he started speaking in tongues.

He didn't know what to do with a situation like that.

And it was actually an archaic.

The guy next to him was a Hebrew scholar because Sid Roth is a Jew.

And all of a sudden, he said, where did you learn that version of Hebrew?

And Sid says, I don't know Hebrew, even though I'm a Jew.

And he's like, yeah, you were speaking it fluently, and he was saying something in tongues to the equivalent of the spirit of the baby is mine, says the Lord.

So the first three, it's to say something.

Can you say that with me?

Say something.

That's why the devil will try to muzzle you with fear.

He'll put a muzzle over your mouth of condemnation.

Who are you to prophesy?

Who are you to say it?

But see, we have to earnestly desire these gifts because the muzzle will come off.

Okay, the second is to know something.

Wisdom, knowledge.

The woman at the well, Jesus walked up and said, well, you have five husbands.

She was like, wait, what?

How did you know I have five husbands?

It's a supernatural knowing, one of the most.

Now this story, I'm saying among friends, and I can't give you all the context, but because this story is.

It could get me in trouble.

But I'll say it to you because I'm starting to trust you.

Two days in this is wisdom, knowledge, but the gift of knowledge.

So the gift of knowledge is when information appears in your mind that there's no way that you could possibly know it.

And just how Jesus looked at the woman said, well, you have five husbands.

So there was a time where I was praying for a guy and I told him, I said, wow, the Lord just showed me that you have word of knowledge.

And he was.

And I said, it gives you a strategic advantage in your field.

And he said, yes, yes, that's true.

And I said, all your friends just think you're highly intelligent, but you know that it's a supernatural gift of the knowledge of knowing.

He was like, yes, yes.

And I said, wait a second.

I'm seeing a word in the spirit.

Undercover.

Undercover.

Undercover.

Under cover.

And he started getting a little nervous.

And then I saw the word agent.

And I said, this is gonna sound bizarre, but are you an undercover agent?

He jumped back, he grabbed me, pulled me forward and whispered in my ear, I'm one of the highest ranking FBI agents in America.

Come on.

I got chills all over me.

So what happened?

Now, understand the whole point of being an undercover agent is nobody knows.

And here comes some ignorant preacher walking up to him.

I know your secret because the Lord's told me, you might be able to fool Russia and China, but not the man of God.

How do people do ministry?

Without the gifts of the spirit, it's just a boring lecture.

Without the gifts of the spirit, it's just pride.

Trying to impress people with what you know.

But the word of knowledge is heaven impressing Humanity with what he knows.

Come on.

Evangelist Daniel Chan told me, I only have three hours for this teaching.

I'm trying to make it through.

Is this helping?

I love it.

I love it, I love it.

We're looking at flats already.

So it's a knowing.

It's a knowing.

It's knowledge.

Matter of fact, there's been different times where I've gone to teach on topics, and the Lord has deposited things into inside of me that I didn't know with my natural mind.

I remember one time the Lord told me, it's eq, not iq.

And I said eq, and I looked it up.

Emotional quotient.

And I began to study it.

And then it became a teaching that went viral all over the world.

These are just things like, you know, so many ministers rely on Google, not God.

I want God more than I want Google.

Google can tell me information, but God can give an impartation.

Come on.

Google's good, but God is better.

And that comes from an intimacy with him.

Let's talk about discerning of spirits.

Discerning of spirits is a gift where you can actually sense that there are angels around you, but you can also discern human spirits.

Discerning simply means to take a deeper look.

It doesn't get past your radar.

And, you know, I believe that God gives that gift to people.

And, you know, we don't chase angelic visitation because I don't want to train you to be weird.

But I will say that new covenant, we entertain angels unaware.

And oftentimes when you are on an assignment from God, the extremity of that assignment will release the realities of heaven.

In other words, you don't need angelic visitations if you're just going to get coffee in the morning and you're having a bad day.

You know, some people, they want a supernatural experience that does not match their evangelism.

Like, Paul got released from prison because he was imprisoned for the gospel.

Like, he had an angel that came.

I mean, a lot of times the supernatural realm is accessed not because you desire it, but because you need it.

Oh, I'm preaching deep.

And you got all these people.

It's like, well, I just want to see an angel.

Yeah, because you.

It's like you're.

You're just design because you're spiritually lazy.

It's like, put yourself in a situation where you need an angel and you might see one.

Do you want to hear an angel story?

This is.

This is like one of my favorite stories.

So we were in New York City, and we're launching a church, and I have this box truck full of all of equipment of the church, as well as our family's personal items.

And it got impounded, which means that it was in a lot and it was locked away, and we had service the next day.

And I was like, lord Jesus, please help me get through the bureaucracy of New York City to get the equipment so we can have church.

All these people's lives are on the line, and all of a sudden, I get there.

Now, in New York City, you have to have a license plate on the front of the car and the back.

Is it like that here?

Okay.

So I show up, and I have the license plates, the new ones, and I'm there to get my box truck out.

And it's late at night, and I have fought all day to get this thing out.

And we will not be able to have church service the next day unless I can get it out.

Well, all of a sudden, I get there, and they're just getting ready to close.

And there's one guy at the front desk, and he says, hey, get your truck out of here and go.

Because we're already after hours, and this is favorite.

So I show up to the truck, but he was like, you can only leave if you mount the plates to the front and the back properly, because they're all about rules in New York City.

You guys don't know anything about that in London.

And all of a sudden, I get there, and I realize that there's nowhere to mount the front plate.

And I am so frustrated because I'm realizing now the mission's over.

We won't have church the next day.

We're done for.

And I kid you not, I don't even care if you believe this story, but it's one of my favorite stories.

In frustration, I'm like, lord, help me.

All these people are depending on me.

I need screws for this.

And I'm praying.

All of a sudden, I get a tap on my shoulder, and this person is holding out two screws and said, hey, is this what you need?

I grab the screws.

I'm like, yes.

And I turn around to screw them in, and I turn back around, and I'm like.

To thank the person, and they're gone.

So I jump up.

I literally jump up.

And now I'm running all around, and I'm like, hey, Hey.

I go back to the front desk, and I'm like, where was the guy?

He looked like this, this, and this.

He gave me the screws.

The guy started laughing at me.

And he said, I told you, you're after hours.

You're the only person here.

I'm at the security gate.

Nobody came in.

And chills just covered my entire body.

I was like, angels can give self tapping screws.

And I know that sounds weird, but angels gave bread to the prophet, they fed him and they come to minister to us.

Praise God.

So I just want to encourage you, but I didn't get the angelic visitation when I wanted it.

I got it when I needed it.

And so what I love about the kingdom is no matter how much you stretch your faith and you go out to the unknown, once you get there, the gifts activate faith.

Faith.

Okay, lastly, so those.

That's really the no.

Say to know something.

So that's wisdom, knowledge.

Okay, we did that.

Praise God.

Lastly, to do something.

Say do something.

Oh, I love this.

Faith healings and working of miracles.

So there's normal faith, which we all must have faith to access the kingdom of heaven.

So without faith, it's impossible to please him.

Every single one of you have a measure of faith because you're saved.

But then there's the gift of faith.

And the gift of faith is a greater measure of faith.

I have people on my team that have the gift of faith and they provoke me and they're like, no, we will do this.

And they see things in the spirit.

I see the building, I see the territory, I see the people coming.

They operate in greater levels of faith.

Somebody's being stirred in their faith right now.

And usually one of the indicators that somebody has the gift of faith is that it's like an oil that's released from that gift.

And people who normally wouldn't believe for things will begin to believe for things in their presence.

So their presence empowers.

It's an empower.

So the gift of faith empowers other.

It's like when you're around people who have the gift of faith, suddenly you feel empowered by their gift.

Who?

I got chills all over me.

I feel it.

This is a very important teaching in this hour because the spirit of religion has tried to eliminate the gifts of the spirit.

As a matter of fact, there's many pastors who are afraid of the gifts of the spirit because they say it's going to be too chaotic.

But the Bible says that where there is an ox in the stall, there's a mess.

But the farm benefits greatly from the strength of the ox.

So the wisdom is, I would rather have an ox, which is a person operating in the gifts of the spirit and have to clean the mess up than not have their strength for the pulling of the plow of a harvest.

So do people prophesy stupid things that are wrong?

Yes.

So what?

We teach them how to prophesy.

We don't tell them to stop prophesying.

Nowhere in the New Testament did Paul show up and say, wait a second, you all got it wrong.

Just stop doing it and just let me preach to you for 20 minutes and we'll go home.

Matter of fact, what you see Paul doing through the epistles is provoking them to desire it more.

And, you know, people were saying stupid stuff, and, you know, people were pushing other people down, all the same problems we have today.

But Paul didn't say, well, because you guys are getting it wrong.

Stop doing it.

He said, now I'm gonna teach and administrate it.

So God's desire is not to eliminate the gifts, it's to administrate the gifts, to teach it, to train it.

Okay.

Faith healings, working of miracles.

Let me make a distinction between working of miracles and healings.

As we come to a close.

We're winding down, so.

Oh, I like you in the front.

So yesterday was amazing because.

And I love this about the atmosphere that Daniel and Tanya Chan have.

Have cultivated.

They have made the gifts of the spirit normal.

They've made healing normal.

That is so rare in the earth.

So rare.

Because, listen, I've ministered at other churches in different places.

Right here, this boy was standing right here.

And as soon as I prayed for his ear, he starts smiling real big.

And I said, why are you smiling?

He's like, because I can hear my own voice now.

Think about how loud it was in here.

And he was like, I can hear my own voice so much better.

And he was smiling.

Now, at some churches, that moment would have happened, and people would have taken off running in every direction, shouting and having a good time.

But here, we're like, praise God.

Let's do it again.

It's naturally supernatural.

It's normal.

I mean, miracles were happening this.

The usher's leg gets healed, then his wife's neck gets healed.

And, you know, God's doing miracles.

Miracles all over the place last night.

And so UK needs to know that God does miracles on the regular.

On the regular, on the regular.

But then there's the working of miracles.

And I'm gonna give you a little bit of information about what that is, because sometimes miracles and healings can be connected.

Here's an example.

I was in Washington state, in Yakima, underneath a tent.

Now Their tent has nothing on this tent, by the way, all my DMs were filled with ministers saying, that tent is amazing.

I said, don't covet their tent.

So, so here's the thing.

When I was in Yakima, this woman, she had the bones in her ears removed when she was 8 years old because of a condition which the way that your ear works is that vibrations go and they vibrate and move those bones in your ear and your brain interprets those signals into sound.

So without the bones, there's no hearing.

So all of a sudden I was on the stage and off to the side of the stage, they bring me this woman and everybody's crying and they're like, pastor Mike, you have to hear this.

And this woman says, when I was 8 years old, the bone was removed in my ears.

But when you prayed, I can hear fully out of that ear, 100% full hearing.

Have you all ever heard of Azusa?

Azusa?

One of the hallmarks of Azusa was recreative miracles.

People were growing back limbs.

I mean, things that are hard to believe without seeing them on video.

That woman's regrew bones in her ear, that's a miracle level that healing is not taking.

Well, let me put like this.

Healing is often taking something broken and making it whole.

Miracles often occur when there's something missing that's replaced.

So I mean, it was like, whoa, this is a miracle.

We've even had people with metal in their body that was dissolved and turned into bone.

We've had ridiculous stuff that it's hard to believe.

Matter of fact, I begin to encourage people, get a medical verification.

And we've even had doctors who were like, I need to reevaluate my faith after seeing what just happened.

Praise God.

The working of miracles.

James, chapter 1, verse 17.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there's no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

First Corinthians, chapter 12, verse 5.

And there are differences of administration, but the same Lord.

First Corinthians, chapter 12, verse 6.

It says, and there are diversities of operations, but it's the same God which worketh all in all.

Verse 7.

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit with all.

So it's the same spirit.

Say that with me.

Same spirit.

It's the same spirit, different operations.

So we have to honor the different operations because it's the same spirit.

And there's also different ways to do it.

Like, I never had a dad.

Because I never had a biological father.

How many of you know, wherever there's the greatest pain, there's the greatest purpose.

So then when I begin to minister and my ministry took off internationally, in the comments section, everybody started calling me Papa Sigs.

It's like a nickname.

And I thought, this is so weird.

Why are they calling me that?

And people in the comments were saying, I feel the love of the father.

I feel a father's heart.

So why do I say that?

Because it doesn't mean that the way I operate in the gifts is better.

It's just a unique operation.

But there's other people that come, and it's not really through a father's heart paradigm, but it is more through a power paradigm.

And they're surgical.

And the Lord called them to be that way.

It's the same spirit, but it's a different.

And so God will bring these different administrations.

And so we have to build in order to cultivate an atmosphere of the gifts of the spirit.

We must have a culture of honor.

Can everybody say honor?

Honor, honor.

You know, be careful how harshly you judge the operation of the gifts in other people, because you may be operating in a level of foolishness or woundedness.

I remember I used to be a teenage preacher.

I got called to preach when I was 15.

And I'll never forget, I was 17 years old.

I was preaching this massive event in the Hammond Civic Center.

Jules, do you remember that?

And it was called Youthquake.

What a terrible name for an event.

And I'm 17 years old.

This was the largest event that I preached.

It's packed out.

And I remember I came off the stage and this prophetess came up to me and she said, stop running from God.

I'm like, did you not just see me preach in front of 1500 people?

Run from God.

And she said it again, stop running from God.

And I'm like, woman, I am here preaching the gospel.

And she said it again, stop running from God.

And walked away from me.

And I would use that story for the next couple years to tell people about how people prophesy falsely.

Shortly after that, I went to a biology class where the teacher said that intellectuals don't believe in a God.

They're idiots if they do.

And over the next next course of the year, I went so deep into philosophy and reason and science that I became a full blown atheist.

And then atheism led into drunkenness and alcohol and all that.

And I remember literally being drunk, sitting on the side of the road, and that woman's words Stop running from God.

And I'm sitting there and I'm starting to sober up, and she says, stop running from God.

And then I learned something about prophecy.

Sometimes it's like a firework.

Have you ever seen.

Do you guys have fireworks here?

Americans are obsessed with fireworks.

They have a wick.

Sometimes prophecy has a long wick, and a prophet will light that wick, and you'll say, there's no way they're right until the boom happens.

And it was like that long wick was working its way through, and the Lord knew she was depositing a prophetic word in me.

And that woman became a catalyst for me to come back to Christ.

Because I said.

I said to everybody, this woman was a fool, but she saw something in the spirit.

She spoke it.

So oftentimes to be a prophet means years and years of being misunderstood, years and years of being judged, years and years of being said that told that you're wrong until the boom happens, until it hits and confirms that God was speaking through you.

And so when you talk about the gifts of the spirit, it can be a lonely journey.

So look around at each other.

These.

This is your family now.

You need each other.

So where there's a culture of honor, the gifts flow more potently because you need each other.

We're going to leave this tent and go back out into the United Kingdom, go back to our countries, and not everybody's gonna understand.

I remember when I first got ordained.

As we come to a close now, I first got ordained to ministry.

The Lord showed me that my lead pastor was in multiple infidelities and financial impropriety.

And I'm a young pastor.

I'm 22 years old, and I. I call a meeting with him.

And as we come into the meeting, I tell him, I said, hey, I'm telling you this privately.

The Lord showed me that you're having multiple infidelities and that there's impropriety in the money.

Now, what I wanted to happen was him to go down to his knees and say, thank you, Mike.

You're such a prophet of God.

I repent, Lord.

We're gonna get this under the blood of Jesus and heal this church.

But by the sound of laughter, you are discerning.

That's not what happened.

Matter of fact, he jumped to his feet and he began to cuss me out.

That's how we say it in America.

I don't know what.

Use it.

Curse me out.

And he said, you're lucky I don't punch you in the face right now.

This Is my pastor.

He started manifesting demons in that meeting.

And then I told my wife, well, I gave that prophetic word to our pastor.

It didn't go too well.

We have to leave the church.

And now Julie, I say this in all respect, but at that time, Julie was like, but how do you know you really saw from God?

How did you.

This is my pastor.

Now.

What you guys don't know is everyone loved this man.

He was a multi millionaire.

He would give money to everybody.

He helped everybody.

He was like a very special man, and he was very beloved.

So at that point, there was no visible evidence of what I'm saying.

And so my own wife was like, mike, I don't know if you saw correctly, but as your wife, I'll submit and we'll leave.

Then all of a sudden, we leave the church.

Now, at the time, we have a massive youth group.

200 kids in a 200 person church.

We had the same amount of youth as they did.

Adults was crazy.

And when we left, everybody felt it.

But I knew I had to obey what the Lord was showing me.

I'm talking about the gifts of the spirit, the emotional component.

So this pastor comes to our house unprovoked.

He visits without an invitation, and he sits on our couch, and he said, I had a prophetic dream that you came back to the church.

I had a prophetic dream that we restored you to as a pastor.

Pastor Mike, you're wrong.

I know that you didn't see it, right?

I'm not that guy.

I'm not doing it.

And my wife's like, yes, Mike.

She's looking at me.

Yes, this is true.

See, he had a prophetic dream.

And in my spirit, the holy spirit, saying, this man's lying to you.

So I turn to him and I say, I'm gonna say this in the most respectful way possible.

The last conversation I had was in your house.

This conversation's in my house.

And you're lying.

In the presence of the Holy Spirit, I'm gonna ask you to get up and leave.

And so all of a sudden, he gets up.

You guys are ornery.

Everybody's clapping for that.

Yeah, you tell him.

So all of a sudden, he gets up and leaves.

My wife's crying.

This is my spiritual father, my husband.

He's one of those psychopathic prophets.

Julie's like, why can't we just be normal?

Am I right?

Huh?

Am I right?

This was younger, you know, she's like, I just want to be normal.

But when you flow in the gifts of the spirit, you have to kiss normalcy goodbye.

Come on.

You just kind of have to be okay with being misunderstood and all that.

So all of a sudden, we go on to a next assignment.

And one year later, now, mind you, the whole church is saying, pastor Mike's at Absolum.

Pastor Mike doesn't respect authority.

Pastor Mike.

This and this and this.

And.

And so why am I telling you this when you saw me flowing last night?

There's a very high price to pay.

You don't earn it, but you pay the price.

So I'm preaching in a dichotomy.

I'm preaching in.

In a seemingly contradictory idea.

That's why I say it's like you yearn, but you don't earn.

You pay the price, but you don't buy it.

Does this make sense?

Because you share in the sufferings of Christ.

So he suffered to finalize it when, but then says, okay, but now you must share in my sufferings.

And so you're sharing.

And so for me, I'm being persecuted.

The whole region, all these people, hundreds of people turned against me.

He didn't hear from God.

He didn't hear from God until one of the mistresses starts to collect data.

All of the conversations, all the finances, compiles a huge file, makes multiple copies in manila envelopes and mails it to all the eldership of the church.

The whole thing comes out.

Then those same people go, wait a second.

Mike Signorelli was the only one who saw it.

I went from being wrong to being the only person who saw it.

And so in that region, that's how my renown and my respect increased dramatically.

Now I've got good news about this story, though, because it's about prophecy.

It's about the gifts of the spirit.

So then I got a confirmation that I was right.

The financial impropriety, whatever.

So he loses his church, which is a very sad story.

But isn't it amazing to see that God threaded me into this man's narrative as a form of mercy before it got exposed?

Isn't it like God to always give you an opportunity to repent before it's exposed?

So you see how prophecy.

God was using me in an apostolic prophetic mantle to begin to reveal something so that God can heal it and deal with it on a lesser level.

But the more he lied about it, the worse it was for him.

So here's my testimony.

All of a sudden, years later, 10 years later.

No more than that, Jules.

15.

15.

15 years later.

I now own a church building down the street from where all this story happened.

And I have a campus in that region and I go there to do a revival event.

This man has been out of Ministry for 15 years, since the store, I just told you.

And I have over a thousand people in the park and I'm preaching the gospel and I say, if you need to be delivered, come forward now.

Come forward now.

And all of a sudden, from the very back, I see no way.

No, that's not him.

I mean, it was like almost disbelief.

And I see him weeping, and he starts coming through the crowd and people are partying because they know him.

This man is known.

And they're looking at him and he comes all the way to the front.

I have not seen this man in 15 years.

He walks up in front of a thousand people and he says, mike, I wasn't ready back then, but I'm ready now.

Deliver me.

I want to give my life to Jesus Christ and fully surren.

Deliver me.

And right there in front of the same people that watched him fall, in front of the same people that said I didn't hear from the Lord.

I got to deliver my former pastor right there.

And then he showed up at my church the next day and he's been.

He was attending my church.

It's a story.

But see, I'm bringing it full circle.

I didn't prophesy to be right, because if you prophesy to be right, it'll be mixed with vengeance.

I prophesied to restore and if.

And so the Lord saw my heart when I was 20 something years old.

And all these years later, the Lord restored.

And the moment that I hope for in the privacy of that office, I got publicly in front of a thousand people.

So New Covenant gifts are for restoration.

They're for healing, they're for reconciliation.

It's for the love of the Father.

And the Lord will give a hard word, but it's.

It's his heart to restore.

Oh, I. I feel that I deposited something major.

So don't you dare count anybody out yet, because if they're not dead, they're not done.

And the person that you count an enemy, the Lord will cause you to co labor with them just to make you better.

Oh, I feel his presence.

Can I pray for you as we close?

Would you just stand to your feet?

This may have been the most important teaching that you've ever heard.

On the gifts of the Spirit.

I hear the Lord saying, I have desired to take you higher.

I've desired to bring you into realms that you have known not.

And yet you have been patient Even though you have felt the testing of impatience, all you have endured and you have stayed faithful, even though you've been tempted to walk away and be distracted.

But there are rewards for faithfulness, says the Lord.

And the reward of faithfulness is receiving more than you intended to receive.

For you desired in part, but you did not know in full.

And yet I brought you to this place to give you more than you thought that you were going to receive.

Because there's a reward with faithfulness.

And I hear the Lord saying that you've stewarded little, little, little, little.

And as you have stewarded little, the Lord says, it has now been increased, increased, increased.

I see you cultivating a fire, blowing on the embers, trying to keep it going, fanning the flame.

But the Lord says, there's a grace coming upon you where it will not be as hard as it was.

The Lord says, for I am making things easy that have been hard.

I am making.

It's been almost as if there's been a striving.

It's been almost, the Lord says, as if it's been a striving like, Lord, you know I'm trying.

But the Lord says, you're shifting into mercy, you're shifting into grace now.

And the Lord says, it will be easy, easy, easy.

Because there is an anointing, it's a greater grace upon you.

And the Lord says that you will prophesy more accurately now.

You will no longer have to search for the words because my word has found you.

And the Lord says, I am taking your tongue, even as the prophet Isaiah.

And I am touching your tongue with a coal from the altar.

And I am purifying your tongue.

And I am purifying your tongue.

And even as I purified his tongue, the Lord think not about the former things, neither go back to them in your mind.

For I am doing a new thing.

And behold, it springs forth right now.

And you will step into what I promised you.

And the Lord said, even as you have tarried, even as you've waited, the Lord says, you have not been denied, but I am giving you access, access, access.

The Lord says, I am releasing keys to you.

And those keys are keys that will unlock the kingdom.

They are keys that unlock bondages, they are key unlock properties.

And the Lord says, I have given you dominion.

Dominion.

Your ancestors lived here but did not own here.

But you shall own here, says the Lord.

You shall be owners, not renters.

You shall be owners, says the Lord, and I will give you dominion to set up my kingdom.

I will give you dominion to set up my culture.

And the Lord says, they will not be able to resist me.

I hear the Lord saying, the enemy is coming in like a flood.

But I have lifted up a standard.

A standard.

A standard against him.

Because the Lord says, do you know not that I turn the hearts of politicians to my will?

Even as I hardened Pharaoh's heart so I have always had the sovereign ability to turn the hearts of leaders in favor of my will.

So do not shrink back in fear.

Do not shrink back in worry.

Do not say to yourself, how can it be?

Because all of the things at play, because the Lord says, I divinely have turned their hearts.

And even when it seems like it doesn't work in your favor, yet I, the Lord your God, will cause it to work in your favor because it's going to prove my mighty power.

I see an oil of excellence.

I see divine blueprints being downloaded.

Right now I see the gift of wisdom.

The gift of wisdom being released right now.

It's a scroll from heaven that's being released.

If you want to receive the gift of wisdom, just yearn for it.

Right now I see the gift of wisdom.

The Lord says, you will make decisions with my wisdom.

My ways are not their ways.

My thoughts are not their thoughts.

But with wisdom, you shall make decisions.

With wisdom, you shall turn to the left.

When wisdom says, turn left, the wisdom of man will say, turn right.

It will seem contrary to their wisdom.

There will even be other people, I hear the Lord saying, there will be even other people who are saints who will advise you incorrectly.

But gift of wisdom will tell you to discern it properly.

And so even out of their love, they try to protect you.

Even out of their love, they tried to consult you.

And they've done it with the right motive, says the Lord.

But their motive has limited me.

Their motive has limited me.

Do not accept Saul's armor in this next season, for I have called you to kill Goliath.

And even Saul will think that his armor is a form of protection.

But I say it's a limitation you do not prove.

Saul's armor, take it off and run boldly and make it into the thing that I've called you.

Run boldly, I hear the Lord say, run naked into the thing I've called you.

You will feel unprepared.

You will feel unprepared.

But I, the Lord, will show my might and power on your behalf.

I, the Lord, will cause the victory to be given to you.

And it will be your inadequacy that proves my adequacy it will be your nakedness that proves my covering, says the Lord.

It will be your nakedness that proves my mighty hand of favor upon you, says the Lord.

Elionamondri Rebe, I see a vision over this nation of mother hens.

Mother hens.

And I see that you will receive daughters.

And they will come up under your wing, and they will imprint.

The Lord says, study the word imprint, because I've given you a discipleship mandate.

And you will raise them up in the Word, and you will raise them up in the faith, and they will do as you do.

They will pray as you pray.

They will worship as you worship.

But I see a mantle of mother hen.

Even know what I'm speaking to.

But many of you will begin to operate as a mother hen.

And they will come up under your wing for a season.

And one by one, they will grow and strengthen rapidly.

And they will go out and begin to draw others under their wings.

And as they draw others under their wings, so shall they begin to multiply disciples in this region.

And I hear the Lord saying, within the years to come, even a short time, yea, I say a short time, I will begin to multiply disciples in this nation, to turn the tide, to begin to change the atmosphere.

And it will happen suddenly.

It will happen suddenly.

And the Lord says, it is no longer addition in this nation.

But I have released the oil of multiplication in this region.

The oil of multiplication.

You've been operating faithfully with addition, but I will give you the oil of multiplication now.

Multiplication financially, multiplication in property, in dominion, multiplic.

For the area of discipleship.

I see multiplication in the area of leadership.

Leadership.

Leadership.

Multiplying, multiplying, multiplying pillars to hold up my true church.

For the Lord says that there is a false church in this land.

There's a church that masquerades with my name, but it functions with the spirit of the Antichrist.

But the Lord says, I'm raising up pillars now to uphold that which I am causing to increase in this land, which is the a true church that will contend with the false church.

And even as Elijah contended with the prophets of baal, the Lord says, I will bring down fire from heaven, and I will begin to show myself mighty in the houses that uphold truly my church in the land.

And the prophets of BAAL will not succeed, but my people will excel with fire from heaven.

Praise God.

Praise God.

Praise God.

Hey.

Okay.

I see many of you crying.

This has been like water for your soul.

See, when prophecies release, it's like Water Bible talks about the washing of the word refreshing.

So here's what I want you to do.

I want you to do everything in your power to get everybody you know to Sunday to this tent.

Because that word that I released, I'm telling you, Sunday in this tent, your friends and family members, and here's what I want you to do.

Operate in faith.

Do not ask the person to come who you think will come.

Faith does the opposite.

Invite the people who you don't think would ever come and let the Lord do the difference.

For real?

For real.

I don't know what it is, but the Lord puts a grace on me and people want to hate me.

And they'd be like, I kind of like them.

I don't know how to explain it, but you'll bring some people from your family and your friends this Sunday, and they'll be sitting there the whole time.

Why did you bring me here?

It's hot, there's bugs.

I didn't have enough coughing.

And then 14 minutes later, they're going to start going like this and looking around, and they're going to start seeing tears well up in their eyes, and they're going to try to act cool, and the guys are going to cough, and the Holy Spirit's going to draw them to himself.

So this Sunday, I want to see this place packed out even more than last night, because we're going to compel people.

We're going to bring them, bring sick people, bring your relatives.

You know, I've had tent revival events in the US where people have checked their relatives out of the hospital and wheeled them in with oxygen test and said, pastor Mike, pray for them.

And they've ripped the oxygen tank, the oxygen off of their nose and got up, start shouting so God can do it.

Compel them.

Somebody shout, compel.

All right, so how many of you are going to be back Sunday?

Can we spend a little bit more time together Sunday?

Okay, let me pray just one more time.

I won't prophesy.

I'll just pray.

I'm going to be good right now.

Heavenly Father, seal this teaching in their hearts.

Seal this teaching in their spirit.

Activate them now even as they go through the remainder of today into tonight, that they would see healing power through their hands, that they would give somebody a word, God, and it would be accurate and confirmed.

And Lord, I thank you that today what you did is for fruit that remains according to John 15.

If you all believe it, can you just shout?

Let it be so.

Can you just shout amen?

Amen.
