Schiaparelli prepares to land on Mars
In less than a week from now the European Space Agency’s ExoMars entry,
descent and landing module Schiaparelli will touch down on the frozen
arid surface of the red planet. The cone-shaped lander was launched on
14 March attached to ESA’s ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter spacecraft for the
seven-month journey to Mars.
