This week on Sasquatch Experience…

In 1973, residents of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, experienced a rare and bizarre phenomenon known as the “double flap,” a series of events involving sightings of both UFOs and Bigfoot creatures. The first encounter with Bigfoot occurred in December 1972, when residents of Greensburg reported seeing a hairy, bipedal creature chasing their neighbor’s two dogs in the middle of the day. The following month, glowing spheres of pure white light were reported hovering in the sky, from which shards of luminous material fell toward the ground. This “double flap” was reported in nine counties, an area spanning over eighty miles!

Stan Gordon, an electronics technician in his twenties, led the investigation into these events. He formed a ufology group based in Westmoreland County, which proved invaluable to the police as they became inundated with reports.

The “double flap” of 1973 is a fascinating and mysterious event that continues to intrigue paranormal enthusiasts to this day.

00:00:12.320 --> 00:00:15.439
Stick around. We'll be right back. The views and opinions expressed by

the guests of Sasquatch Experience do not
necessarily reflect the opinion of the host,

sponsors, or affiliates of the Sasquatch
Experience. As always, listener discretion is

7
00:00:25.079 --> 00:00:37.600
advised. We got someone or something
crawling around out here. Does a legend

8
00:00:37.640 --> 00:00:45.359
walk among us working in the forests
of our world? Did you see what

9
00:00:45.399 --> 00:00:49.320
it was? Well? It a
person or an animal? Or I can't.

10
00:00:49.320 --> 00:00:51.719
Oh, I know, it's if
my thunder light came on and I

11
00:00:51.840 --> 00:00:55.560
get happened to glim say the thing
running across the yard a good fight,

12
00:00:55.759 --> 00:00:58.280
man or nothing? It works like
a man. I don't know what it

13
00:00:58.399 --> 00:01:07.599
was. For over fifteen years,
we've talked with scientists, researchers, investigators,

14
00:01:07.599 --> 00:01:14.840
and witnesses trying to gain insight and
truth around the existence of this mysterious

15
00:01:14.959 --> 00:01:23.120
entity. Quiet, hello, get
somebody out here. What's going on?

16
00:01:23.120 --> 00:01:29.560
Announce thereablement about I don't know,

19
00:01:51.200 --> 00:02:16.000
Sasquatch Experience, and Welcome to tonight's
show, folks. Sasquatch Experience Seawan Forker,

20
00:02:16.080 --> 00:02:19.680
James Baker, Matt Arner, Henry
May and Vance Nesbit. Down there

21
00:02:19.680 --> 00:02:22.879
in the bottom corner. It's like
Hollywood squares, but it's not a square.

22
00:02:23.439 --> 00:02:25.759
It's just some strange shape that we
happen to be occupying. But welcome

23
00:02:25.759 --> 00:02:29.719
to tonight's show. Guys. Yes, you've got us back to back weeks

24
00:02:30.280 --> 00:02:34.080
because we just love you so much. But guys, this show and I

25
00:02:34.120 --> 00:02:37.719
hope you all had a great weekend. I know we chatted. Matt you

26
00:02:37.759 --> 00:02:40.240
were sick, and Baker you've had
some stress going on. I'm glad you

27
00:02:40.280 --> 00:02:44.039
guys are both with us tonight and
feeling good. Henry, you got some

28
00:02:44.080 --> 00:02:46.840
monster storms rolling through there, so
I know you're trying your best to stick

29
00:02:46.879 --> 00:02:51.080
it with us, and Vance and
I are just two boring old guys who

30
00:02:51.120 --> 00:02:55.879
have been pretty much Yeah, you
guys, have all that fun stuff.

31
00:02:55.879 --> 00:03:00.439
It's just Vance and I doing our
normal thang. It ain't nothing the thing

32
00:03:00.599 --> 00:03:05.080
right, But this show started Matt
Napp, a good friend of mine,

33
00:03:05.280 --> 00:03:10.400
partner of mine, over at Bigfoot
Crossroads. Very interesting episode. We talked

34
00:03:10.400 --> 00:03:14.319
about the mysteries of the Chestnut Ridge. Last week he asked me to come

35
00:03:14.360 --> 00:03:17.039
on and be a guest with him. Him and I always have good dialogue

36
00:03:17.039 --> 00:03:20.439
together, so it was, you
know, much appreciated and a lot of

37
00:03:20.439 --> 00:03:23.000
fun. But as we were talking, I just came to the real of

38
00:03:23.039 --> 00:03:30.759
eight revelation and I can't talk tonight
that it's been fifty years since the nineteen

39
00:03:30.879 --> 00:03:37.039
seventy three UFO flap in Westmoreland County. And actually we called the west Moreland

40
00:03:37.039 --> 00:03:46.479
County clap Clap Clap. It isn't
it incorporated a lot more than just Westmoreland

41
00:03:46.520 --> 00:03:50.639
County. There's actually quite a few
places, but interesting none the last.

42
00:03:50.639 --> 00:03:53.439
So I just want to get your
guys' thoughts on this going into this show

43
00:03:53.479 --> 00:03:57.000
tonight, I don't care who goes
first. Aker. You were born in

44
00:03:57.039 --> 00:04:00.159
seventy three, so give us your
thoughts. You know, I don't remember

45
00:04:00.199 --> 00:04:03.599
a lot about that. You know, a lot of a lot of incontinents

46
00:04:03.680 --> 00:04:10.879
and getting Bob it was unique here, but I was reading a lot of

47
00:04:11.000 --> 00:04:14.560
articles on it. And I'll tell
you what, just not just the UFO

48
00:04:14.719 --> 00:04:17.639
sightings. They were they were nationwide
and they were also across other countries.

49
00:04:17.680 --> 00:04:23.120
But there was a lot going on. Nixon had his troubles. There was

50
00:04:23.199 --> 00:04:29.240
the Jan Kapor War I think I
pronounced that badly, but with Israel and

51
00:04:29.279 --> 00:04:32.560
basically all the Arab nations around them, that could have ended with a nuclear

52
00:04:32.959 --> 00:04:40.879
response. There were so many sightings
of different alien spacecrafts, and then there

53
00:04:40.959 --> 00:04:44.720
was also creatures. But you know, in some areas, like you were

54
00:04:44.759 --> 00:04:50.160
saying in Pennsylvania, it was starting
to tie into the bigfoot community. Some

55
00:04:50.240 --> 00:04:54.639
of the some of the major people
that we talked about today really got their

56
00:04:55.279 --> 00:04:58.560
you know, really got their feet
wet into that where people started to know

57
00:04:58.639 --> 00:05:01.240
them as common names. One of
them would be like Stan Gordon. I

58
00:05:01.279 --> 00:05:03.680
know, there were a few other
ones. A lot of them are unfortunately

59
00:05:03.759 --> 00:05:11.199
have passed on due to natural causes
and or just you know, because fifty

60
00:05:11.279 --> 00:05:15.600
years ago when they were twenty another
seventy, you know that would be natural

61
00:05:15.639 --> 00:05:19.040
causes. Yeah, right. For
one guy got hit by a drunk driver.

62
00:05:20.399 --> 00:05:26.319
Well, that's not natural. I
did post up the artic and the

63
00:05:26.439 --> 00:05:30.319
chat, so if anybody wanted to
follow along, Oh, thank you makes

64
00:05:30.560 --> 00:05:35.399
no, that's that's that's incredible.
Actually, Bake, you're absolutely right.

65
00:05:35.920 --> 00:05:43.399
In nineteen seventy three, there was
a lot of strange things going on nationwide,

66
00:05:43.639 --> 00:05:48.279
not just focused on what was going
on Pennsylvania Flap, but there were

67
00:05:48.319 --> 00:05:54.800
things going on nationwide, and I
would bring up a couple of interesting points

68
00:05:54.839 --> 00:06:00.000
to just keep in the back of
your mind that in some of these circumstance

69
00:06:00.040 --> 00:06:05.720
ch answers, it was described as
a Bigfoot like creature that was seen along

70
00:06:05.720 --> 00:06:13.639
with these UFOs. Now, with
that said, the Patterson Gimlin film had

71
00:06:13.680 --> 00:06:19.240
come out only five years prior to
that. The Patterson Gimlin film was only

72
00:06:19.439 --> 00:06:28.480
seen under a public distribution through local
media, So whether the news source or

73
00:06:28.720 --> 00:06:33.319
a television show decided to show that
clip, those were the only people that

74
00:06:33.399 --> 00:06:39.879
saw it. So there were millions
of Americans that did not see that footage

75
00:06:40.160 --> 00:06:44.839
and had really no idea of the
concept of Bigfoot at that time, even

76
00:06:45.000 --> 00:06:50.079
five years after the fact, and
I found that really interesting and another interesting

77
00:06:50.160 --> 00:06:54.800
name to bring up, along with
Stan Gordon, which you know, my

78
00:06:54.920 --> 00:07:00.600
heart, it's all to Stan Gordon. He's done such amazing and a plethora

79
00:07:00.600 --> 00:07:05.879
of work that you know, sir, I can't put it into words as

80
00:07:05.879 --> 00:07:13.560
to what that man has contributed to
this entire topic. But Stanton Friedman took

81
00:07:13.600 --> 00:07:18.560
an interest in this whole seventy three
flat and even though he was investigating the

82
00:07:18.560 --> 00:07:24.240
things that were going on in nineteen
seventy three in Sacramento, California, and

83
00:07:24.319 --> 00:07:29.639
he was more focused on the UFO
incidents that were happening at the time,

84
00:07:30.439 --> 00:07:38.120
Stan was looking more at the contribution
of both things being tied together with each

85
00:07:38.120 --> 00:07:42.680
other and if there was any kind
of similarities or if there was an actual

86
00:07:42.879 --> 00:07:51.800
tie between both a hominid that walks
our earth and UFOs And you know,

87
00:07:51.839 --> 00:07:57.360
I just I just wanted to put
that out there that again, millions of

88
00:07:57.399 --> 00:08:03.639
Americans were unfamiliar with seeing the actual
Patterson Gimlin film at the time, unless

89
00:08:03.680 --> 00:08:09.279
they saw it at a local library
or whether their local television news happened to

90
00:08:09.279 --> 00:08:13.079
show a clip of it. But
again, millions did not see it at

91
00:08:13.079 --> 00:08:20.279
that time. And we're talking five
short years after or prior to that fact

92
00:08:20.360 --> 00:08:26.399
that this what this film was released
when this whole seventy three flap happened.

93
00:08:26.480 --> 00:08:35.360
Yeah, Matt, go ahead.
You know, going back into that particular

94
00:08:35.399 --> 00:08:37.080
era, we were also you know, we were in the Cold War.

95
00:08:37.679 --> 00:08:41.840
There was a lot of syops that
were going on between you know, between

96
00:08:43.279 --> 00:08:48.440
you know, NATO and the Soviet
Union. A lot of I think,

97
00:08:48.960 --> 00:08:54.000
what the UFOs. Some UFOs were
attributed to, you know, craft from

98
00:08:54.480 --> 00:08:58.000
say like the Skunk Works and from
from some other places. But you know,

99
00:08:58.200 --> 00:09:01.399
some of you know, just reading
through with some of the accounts,

100
00:09:03.279 --> 00:09:07.240
I'm not a UFO person myself,
but you know, it just seems that

101
00:09:07.320 --> 00:09:15.360
we just had this major, major
influx of activity in that particular year,

102
00:09:16.320 --> 00:09:20.679
during that particular era. And again, you know, having the Cold War

103
00:09:20.799 --> 00:09:24.639
going on plays a big factor into
it. But there could be also other

104
00:09:24.720 --> 00:09:28.440
factors as well. The fact that
we are using at that point a lot

105
00:09:28.480 --> 00:09:33.799
of nuclear energy. That could be
we're starting to send signals into space.

106
00:09:33.240 --> 00:09:37.679
You know, it could have been
something to trigger something, you know,

107
00:09:37.840 --> 00:09:43.679
to come forward. But as for
the Bigfoot phenomena tied into it, I'll

108
00:09:43.799 --> 00:09:48.159
go into my little theory a little
later. I think it is interesting,

109
00:09:48.559 --> 00:09:52.600
No, you bring up some you
all brought up some really good points.

110
00:09:52.679 --> 00:09:54.799
You know, I didn't come along
till many years later, Right, I

111
00:09:54.879 --> 00:09:58.480
wasn't even a thought at this point. My dad was still legitile. But

112
00:09:58.759 --> 00:10:01.600
this is the stuff I was raised
on, you know, the seventy flaps.

113
00:10:03.600 --> 00:10:07.759
As a Pennsylvania researcher, you come, you know, you come to

114
00:10:07.879 --> 00:10:11.879
terms that there's some strange shit that
happens in this research. It's just unavoidable

115
00:10:13.559 --> 00:10:16.519
that these things interweave, and in
that seventies was like the apex of that.

116
00:10:18.519 --> 00:10:22.639
Right, You've got John Green talking
about it in Sasquatch stapes among us.

117
00:10:22.919 --> 00:10:26.960
You've got stuff going on all over
the country California, Mississippi, Indiana,

118
00:10:28.440 --> 00:10:35.879
Illinois, Pennsylvania, Cincinnati, Ohio. There's this confluence of the UFO

119
00:10:37.039 --> 00:10:41.279
flaps. But why is Pennsylvania the
only one notating the bigfoot component of it?

120
00:10:41.320 --> 00:10:43.200
And I know there's folks listening to
it. They would be like,

121
00:10:43.200 --> 00:10:46.200
oh, here we go, it's
a UFO Bigfoot connection, which you can't.

122
00:10:46.200 --> 00:10:50.440
It's unavoidable, Like we have to
talk about this mainly for historical preference,

123
00:10:50.480 --> 00:10:54.919
but also to the fact that you
know, it happened, It's been

124
00:10:56.240 --> 00:10:58.519
you know, documented very well and
you talk about people that were part of

125
00:10:58.519 --> 00:11:03.840
this, who's been researching this now
for over fifty years. You see some

126
00:11:03.919 --> 00:11:07.799
photos on there from Stan at the
time. That photo you see with the

127
00:11:07.799 --> 00:11:11.960
three toad print there. The one
story I like to tell quite frequently about

128
00:11:11.960 --> 00:11:15.360
the bigfoot ripping the electrical box off
the back of the trailer, off the

129
00:11:15.440 --> 00:11:18.799
side of the trailer. That creature
left three toad footprints behind. So again

130
00:11:18.840 --> 00:11:24.679
when you make the comment bigfoot like
creatures vanes, that's part of it,

131
00:11:24.799 --> 00:11:28.240
right. And then we go back
to what we talked about last week in

132
00:11:28.320 --> 00:11:33.159
Boggy Creek, right with the three
toad prints. And then Matt brings up

133
00:11:33.200 --> 00:11:35.960
the point, well maybe it's not
three toe, maybe it's just how it

134
00:11:35.039 --> 00:11:39.840
walks. So you know, there's
a lot of connection points. But Stan

135
00:11:39.960 --> 00:11:43.840
Gordon wasn't the only person to be
investigating some of these. There was also

136
00:11:43.879 --> 00:11:50.440
a man by the name of doctor
Paul Johnson who also investigated UFO activity in

137
00:11:50.480 --> 00:11:54.039
Pennsylvania bigfoot activity. Doctor Paul's a
great dude. I got to know him

138
00:11:54.039 --> 00:11:56.720
over the years. I'm acquainted.
I don't want to say we're biffs.

139
00:11:56.759 --> 00:12:01.120
We're not going out for breakfast or
anything like that. But good guy doesn't

140
00:12:01.120 --> 00:12:05.639
get nearly the credit because he's not
out there like Stan Gordon is. He

141
00:12:05.679 --> 00:12:09.399
wrote the book Chasing the Elusive Pennsylvania
Bigfoot for anybody who wants to pick up

142
00:12:09.440 --> 00:12:13.840
a really good read, you can
get that on Amazon, which you know,

143
00:12:13.960 --> 00:12:16.600
part of that book was written with
Joan Jeffers. And I was talking

144
00:12:16.600 --> 00:12:20.559
to Henry before we came online.
You know, Joan was you know,

145
00:12:20.759 --> 00:12:26.960
part of the Pennsylvania UFO Research Center
at that time, so she was one

146
00:12:26.960 --> 00:12:30.279
of the people that were taking these
calls and doing these investigations. She's not

147
00:12:30.360 --> 00:12:35.000
with us any longer. I had
one picture of Joan and I can't find

148
00:12:35.000 --> 00:12:37.120
it on this computer. I just
got this computer, but I couldn't find

149
00:12:37.120 --> 00:12:41.240
it in any of my files.
And when I went to do a Google

150
00:12:41.240 --> 00:12:43.759
search to and I couldn't find anything
about Joan Jeffers. So it kind of

151
00:12:43.759 --> 00:12:46.200
breaks my heart a little bit that
just aside from some footnote, she's not

152
00:12:46.279 --> 00:12:50.679
talked about. And you know,
I told Henry, like, I really

153
00:12:50.679 --> 00:12:54.440
want to get with Lauren Coleman and
maybe Heather Moser, somebody that could help

154
00:12:54.480 --> 00:12:58.919
me do the research to really tell
Joan's story, because I just have this

155
00:13:00.240 --> 00:13:03.320
like connection with her. I don't
know what it is why I'm drawn to

156
00:13:03.360 --> 00:13:05.600
her, but I feel like she
has a story that needs to be told

157
00:13:05.639 --> 00:13:11.240
and it's important to this because you
know, she was part of it,

158
00:13:11.360 --> 00:13:16.200
and she's just something that just goes
someone that just goes on, I don't

159
00:13:16.240 --> 00:13:18.759
know, uncredited, and it bothers
me all of them, because we're all

160
00:13:18.799 --> 00:13:22.440
important, you know, and when
you take the time and you, you

161
00:13:22.440 --> 00:13:26.320
know, contribute to this, everybody
should be recognized for the contributions. And

162
00:13:26.360 --> 00:13:31.960
she had a hell of a lot
of contribution to this. Let's get to

163
00:13:33.000 --> 00:13:37.000
it, guys. Pullet notes here. Yeah, so this really started.

164
00:13:37.320 --> 00:13:43.480
According to various sources, December nineteen
seventy two, residents of Greensburg reported seeing

165
00:13:43.519 --> 00:13:48.000
a hairy, bipedal creature chasing their
neighbors to dogs in the middle of the

166
00:13:48.120 --> 00:13:52.919
day. The following month, glowing
spheres of pure white light were reported hovering

167
00:13:52.960 --> 00:13:58.320
in the sky, from which shards
of luminous material fell towards the ground.

168
00:13:58.960 --> 00:14:07.679
Now standing his team recovered some of
this material and my understanding of it and

169
00:14:07.759 --> 00:14:13.039
see where I put that article,
because I did collect the article, it

170
00:14:13.080 --> 00:14:18.759
did come back with some Oh shit. I hate when that happens, I'll

171
00:14:18.759 --> 00:14:20.360
find it. We'll talk about it
again a little bit. But he did

172
00:14:20.440 --> 00:14:24.200
take it, some of it analyzed
and had some pretty interesting results. It

173
00:14:24.240 --> 00:14:28.200
was a material was plain old aluminum. Five percent of it couldn't be identified.

174
00:14:28.240 --> 00:14:33.519
So there was five percent of the
material taken from that luminous UFO or

175
00:14:33.559 --> 00:14:37.559
that luminous object that couldn't be identified, which is pretty interesting. I wonder

176
00:14:37.600 --> 00:14:41.120
if we ran that material today,
but that would come back, maybe that

177
00:14:41.240 --> 00:14:48.559
our advances in science could identify what
that material could be. Matt Well,

178
00:14:48.840 --> 00:14:50.600
I mean you look at the periodic
a child of the seventies. I remember

179
00:14:50.600 --> 00:14:54.120
our periodic tables of the elements were
like, you know, only like this,

180
00:14:54.279 --> 00:14:58.679
you know this big. Now it's
a lot more. So there's always

181
00:14:58.679 --> 00:15:03.120
a great possibility that we do,
you know, we may have something that

182
00:15:03.360 --> 00:15:09.080
can match that unknown property for the
metallurgy. So yeah, so I mean

183
00:15:09.080 --> 00:15:13.159
it's something to look into and perhaps
maybe find an answer to that. Guys,

184
00:15:13.360 --> 00:15:16.960
I don't know. Thanks, But
the same similar incident happened with the

185
00:15:18.120 --> 00:15:24.080
Raswell also there were materials that were
analyzed that were not identified at that time.

186
00:15:26.679 --> 00:15:28.440
I find that kind of interesting,
right, Yeah, But if we

187
00:15:28.519 --> 00:15:33.120
still had access to those materials.
It's something we could test today and what

188
00:15:33.279 --> 00:15:35.919
right, you know, go ahead
games. The fact that you bring up

189
00:15:37.000 --> 00:15:39.200
Raswell is kind of important to the
whole thing, because the article I read

190
00:15:39.519 --> 00:15:45.159
was because of some of the other
things that were going on around the war

191
00:15:45.600 --> 00:15:50.720
world, like the Israeli War and
a few other was we were actually gearing

192
00:15:50.840 --> 00:15:56.320
up to get involved in that,
and we were actually at the right Patterson

193
00:15:56.440 --> 00:16:02.360
Base, which is where they're actually
assessed that the Roswell ship in Area fifty

194
00:16:02.399 --> 00:16:07.480
one is based. So they're saying
that some of the some of the article

195
00:16:07.559 --> 00:16:11.679
states kind of gives you the idea
that the reason that we had so much

196
00:16:11.759 --> 00:16:17.679
of new activity is the fact that
because there was so much going on in

197
00:16:17.679 --> 00:16:23.559
an area near a supposed supposed vehicle, that the people that created the vehicle

198
00:16:23.600 --> 00:16:26.720
were kind of like, Okay,
they're moving around it a lot, maybe

199
00:16:26.720 --> 00:16:30.840
we should start doing stuff. And
that's why they were more visible and more

200
00:16:30.759 --> 00:16:36.399
hunting. You know, we have
Henry back here with us, so let's

201
00:16:36.399 --> 00:16:40.120
give Henry a minute to say something
before we lose them again. Henry seventy

202
00:16:40.120 --> 00:16:42.799
three, Bigfoot, what's on your
mind? Well, Jean said this.

203
00:16:45.120 --> 00:16:48.759
He said it would it does we
lost them all right, We'll have to

204
00:16:48.759 --> 00:16:52.759
bring on Mary Henry. Sorry,
Henry. He's got bad weather going on,

205
00:16:52.840 --> 00:16:56.440
folks, and coupled with the always
challenge with his connections, so we're

206
00:16:56.440 --> 00:16:59.720
going to try to get that straightened
out. Henry. Sorry, buddy,

207
00:17:00.320 --> 00:17:03.159
didn't mean to lose you there.
But interesting enough, guys, when I

208
00:17:03.240 --> 00:17:07.240
was going into this, I went
and did some research into some Pennsylvania resources

209
00:17:07.559 --> 00:17:14.039
sightings that were happening okay, And
there were some instances before December nineteen seventy

210
00:17:14.039 --> 00:17:19.480
two in the Fayette County area which
I really feel may have actually precipitated the

211
00:17:19.559 --> 00:17:22.880
flap, And I think they should
be included only because they happened at the

212
00:17:22.960 --> 00:17:27.400
end of October, as it starts
rolling into December in November. So October

213
00:17:27.440 --> 00:17:32.839
thirty first, nineteen seventy two,
Jumminville, several witnesses in a car saw

214
00:17:32.880 --> 00:17:36.960
a gray haired, bipedal creature with
long arm, short legs, self illuminated

215
00:17:37.000 --> 00:17:41.240
eyes, and the creature looked into
the back window of the car. And

216
00:17:41.279 --> 00:17:45.480
then November nineteen seventy two, several
kids threw stones at a five and a

217
00:17:45.519 --> 00:17:48.720
half the six foot tall creature that
growled at them, So dumb kids throwing

218
00:17:48.799 --> 00:17:52.799
rocks at big feet and was surprised
one of them didn't get eaten. But

219
00:17:53.400 --> 00:17:57.359
so those kind of events happened,
and then of course there's the nineteen seventy

220
00:17:57.400 --> 00:18:03.079
two incidents. But then this is
where it gets really interesting, because in

221
00:18:03.160 --> 00:18:07.799
January nineteen seventy three, residents of
Greensburg reported seeing a hairy, bipedal creature

222
00:18:07.880 --> 00:18:11.519
chasing their neighbors two dogs in the
middle of the day, kind of like

223
00:18:11.599 --> 00:18:17.759
that they were talking about there earlier. Right when the bigfoot was confronted,

224
00:18:17.759 --> 00:18:19.920
it fled into the woods which boarded
the back of the homeowner's property. The

225
00:18:19.920 --> 00:18:23.880
bigfoot had a lopping gait into Its
fur, was brown and covered its whole

226
00:18:23.880 --> 00:18:30.799
body save for its ape like face. Those present also reported a rotten egg

227
00:18:30.839 --> 00:18:33.680
smell, and that's when you start
getting some of the smells notated with some

228
00:18:33.759 --> 00:18:37.160
of these creatures. Now, for
the rest of January into February, grizzly

229
00:18:37.200 --> 00:18:44.039
evidence of bigfoots or some other immensely
powerful animal mounted chickens were killed, coops

230
00:18:44.039 --> 00:18:47.559
have been violently ripped apart. A
few families woke up to find their dogs

231
00:18:47.599 --> 00:18:51.920
dead in their yard with their spines
broken. Yeah, pretty terrible. Many

232
00:18:51.960 --> 00:18:56.160
of these fatal attacks occurred in and
around Pottstown in Montgomery County, which is

233
00:18:56.200 --> 00:19:00.839
on the other side of the state. So as we start talking about this

234
00:19:02.039 --> 00:19:06.000
becoming more than just a localized situation, we call it the Westmoreland County big

235
00:19:06.039 --> 00:19:10.880
Foot Flap. I mean it it
expands out quite a bit into many counties.

236
00:19:10.920 --> 00:19:12.400
And that's what, Matt. How
many miles? Is it about one

237
00:19:12.440 --> 00:19:18.720
hundred and seventy four maybe from way
more than that, yeah, because I

238
00:19:18.720 --> 00:19:22.079
think interstate eighties, what three hundred
miles? I think yeah, maybe,

239
00:19:22.160 --> 00:19:26.240
And so I mean you're talking to
one side of the state. You know,

240
00:19:26.880 --> 00:19:30.960
in Pottstown, you're not that far
from Philadelphia. So I just googled

241
00:19:30.960 --> 00:19:34.839
it here quick, let's find out
it is two hundred and fifty eight miles.

242
00:19:34.839 --> 00:19:38.839
Man, Okay, what's over two
hundred miles? Yep. It takes

243
00:19:38.839 --> 00:19:41.920
me ninety one miles to get the
Scranton so yeah, it's yeah, that

244
00:19:41.960 --> 00:19:45.680
seems about right. So you're talking
about two hundred and fifty nine, two

245
00:19:45.759 --> 00:19:49.920
hundred and sixty miles across the state. You have other things happening, and

246
00:19:51.200 --> 00:19:55.279
you know that part of the state
also has its UFOs. You know,

247
00:19:55.400 --> 00:20:03.119
southwestern southeastern PA has probably just as
many sightings of UFOs as southwestern PA.

248
00:20:03.240 --> 00:20:07.839
And I just wonder why there's not
as many creature sightings that happened in in

249
00:20:07.000 --> 00:20:11.319
negotiation with that. Maybe it's just
because at that point in time, there

250
00:20:11.400 --> 00:20:15.079
wasn't anybody there to talk about it. And that's something else to think about.

251
00:20:15.200 --> 00:20:18.599
You know, you have Stan Gordon
who's out there, who's now known

252
00:20:19.559 --> 00:20:26.119
by the you know, the state
police as having a hotline and as a

253
00:20:26.160 --> 00:20:32.839
resource to report these too. They're
the police are getting so inundated with these

254
00:20:32.880 --> 00:20:37.920
sighting reports they're reaching out to STAND
to help them meter that out. Matt,

255
00:20:37.960 --> 00:20:41.720
what's that say as a member of
law enforcement? What what? How

256
00:20:41.759 --> 00:20:45.160
does that true? You know?
What's that say to you? Well,

257
00:20:45.480 --> 00:20:49.319
you know what, they they have
a trust in STAND that they know when

258
00:20:49.359 --> 00:20:55.680
they send somebody that that went through
an experience like that, uh to someone

259
00:20:55.720 --> 00:20:59.720
like Stan Gordon, he's going to
be someone that's that's going to be as

260
00:20:59.799 --> 00:21:04.920
good good with interviewing and treating the
person that's giving the report as they would.

261
00:21:06.640 --> 00:21:11.839
So for someone to for one of
us to to send somebody to a

262
00:21:11.880 --> 00:21:15.039
person like that, we really have
to have a high regard for them,

263
00:21:15.599 --> 00:21:19.680
and we have to know that they're
not gonna be you know, some guy

264
00:21:19.759 --> 00:21:26.599
that that has a hotline. Stan
really established a great relationship with the with

265
00:21:26.680 --> 00:21:32.480
the State Police, and they probably
saw the way that he interviewed, you

266
00:21:32.519 --> 00:21:36.799
know, some of these witnesses and
if it's doing it, you know,

267
00:21:37.000 --> 00:21:41.039
as as they would all the power
to them to uh to have him take

268
00:21:41.079 --> 00:21:45.559
those reports. Right. And with
that said Matt at which is a very

269
00:21:45.599 --> 00:21:52.920
good point, Stan Gordon was just
relaying the information that he took in and

270
00:21:52.960 --> 00:21:59.200
the way that he took that information
in was in a chronological order, and

271
00:21:59.240 --> 00:22:03.160
that's how the state Police took a
look at it. Yeah, Okay,

272
00:22:03.240 --> 00:22:08.920
all he is is he's the sounding
board for these incidents. I would also

273
00:22:10.160 --> 00:22:17.319
interject one other really kind of interesting
point. It was in nineteen seventy three

274
00:22:18.000 --> 00:22:26.799
when then Governor of Georgia, Jimmy
Carter reported his UFO experience. With that

275
00:22:26.839 --> 00:22:30.480
said, we'll let that go forward. And on that note, we're going

276
00:22:30.519 --> 00:22:33.079
to jump into our big show break
here, folks, with almost that nine

277
00:22:33.119 --> 00:22:36.200
to twenty five guys, if you
can believe that, stick around, guys,

278
00:22:36.200 --> 00:22:38.480
will be right back. We're going
to regroup, continue on our discussion

279
00:22:38.599 --> 00:22:44.119
of the UFO big Foot Flap.
Fifty years of high strangeness. We'll catch

280
00:22:44.119 --> 00:22:55.480
you after this, Tu steave a
symbol. Ah. Yes, it is

281
00:22:55.799 --> 00:23:03.279
Monday Night live once again right here
on the Big Distraction Bigfoot Bullhorn, on

282
00:23:03.319 --> 00:23:10.519
the Sasquatch Experience, and we are
quickly approaching the Turkey Week. We're only

283
00:23:10.640 --> 00:23:15.200
days away, folks. And if
you're listening to this on the Turkey Day,

284
00:23:15.279 --> 00:23:18.759
well enjoy. And of course,
out by me we have the annual

285
00:23:19.440 --> 00:23:26.960
Turkey Testicle Festival. No, thank
you, I will stay at home on

286
00:23:26.119 --> 00:23:32.960
that date, but let's kick things
off here staying in concert with what we

287
00:23:33.039 --> 00:23:37.839
are talking about tonight, the big
Muddy Monster of Southern Illinois. I know

288
00:23:37.880 --> 00:23:41.200
what you're thinking, the big Muddy
Monster. No, we're not talking about

289
00:23:41.279 --> 00:23:48.160
Michael Moore's undercarriage. Believe me,
I've stood close to that guy. He

290
00:23:48.240 --> 00:23:52.960
smells bad. I'm not sure he
knows that water can actually clean the human

291
00:23:53.000 --> 00:24:00.160
body. But I digress. Out
of Murphy'sboro, Southern Illinois, there are

292
00:24:00.200 --> 00:24:06.759
two dates in Murphy's Borough that still
leave some haunted or at least curious.

293
00:24:07.279 --> 00:24:11.160
Two police reports dated June twenty fifth
and June twenty sixth relate the sighting of

294
00:24:11.200 --> 00:24:17.480
an unknown creature. It was in
those two evenings that the reports came out

295
00:24:17.599 --> 00:24:22.720
of a loud, tall, white
haired creature caked with mud, being spotted

296
00:24:22.759 --> 00:24:29.160
in the woods on the outskirts of
the town near Big Muddy River. It

297
00:24:29.359 --> 00:24:34.559
was later dubbed the Big Muddy Monster
because of its indefinable features and mysterious presence.

298
00:24:36.079 --> 00:24:40.359
It set off a media frenzy after
the initial reports on those two days,

299
00:24:40.680 --> 00:24:47.039
said former patrolman and retired Murphy's Borough
Police Chief Rod Man Warning, those

300
00:24:47.200 --> 00:24:51.240
are the most copied and most looked
at reports in the history of the department.

301
00:24:51.279 --> 00:24:55.960
He said, letters came streaming in
from those as far away as California

302
00:24:56.000 --> 00:24:59.920
and New York, winding a piece
of information or piece of the prize.

303
00:25:00.079 --> 00:25:07.200
But that prize is still elusive.
It is unsolved case because I can't tell

304
00:25:07.240 --> 00:25:11.799
you what it was, he said. Having retired eighteen years ago and having

305
00:25:11.880 --> 00:25:17.160
not seen the Big Money Monster police
reports in years, Man Warning is still

306
00:25:17.200 --> 00:25:22.960
able to recount those haunting evenings as
if they just happened yesterday, and he

307
00:25:22.039 --> 00:25:27.680
recounts the stories as if he were
writing the police report. All over again.

308
00:25:29.279 --> 00:25:33.119
There were numerous sightings and people interviewed. The first report came in just

309
00:25:33.240 --> 00:25:37.599
before midnight on June twenty fifth.
A couple had been parked near the boat

310
00:25:37.640 --> 00:25:42.559
dock on the southwestern edge of Riverside
Park, next to the woods. The

311
00:25:42.640 --> 00:25:48.279
two were not married, said that
they were in a car and when they

312
00:25:48.359 --> 00:25:53.279
heard very loud screaming sounds coming from
the wooded area and observed a large creature

313
00:25:53.319 --> 00:25:59.400
approximately seven feet tall. The creature
appeared to have light colored hair that was

314
00:25:59.559 --> 00:26:03.160
matted with mud. The creature appeared
to be walking on two legs and was

315
00:26:03.240 --> 00:26:08.200
proceeding towards his car. According to
the report, police searched the area with

316
00:26:08.319 --> 00:26:15.720
flashlights and spotted tracks in the mud
approximately three to four inches deep, ten

317
00:26:15.759 --> 00:26:19.960
to twelve inches long, and three
inches wide. While officers were searching the

318
00:26:21.000 --> 00:26:26.079
area, they reported hearing another scream
coming from the woods, but nothing could

319
00:26:26.079 --> 00:26:33.240
be found. When we come back
the second report of the Big Muddy Monster.

320
00:26:37.000 --> 00:26:47.160
You're listening to the Sasquatch Experience.
We take you back now to the

329
00:27:40.599 --> 00:27:44.200
We'll take it from here. Thank
you. Introducing Geek Squad twenty four hour

330
00:27:44.240 --> 00:27:48.160
Computer Support Task Force. The whole
one eight hundred Geek Squad help has arrived

331
00:28:00.480 --> 00:28:06.519
well. As mentioned at the top
of this news break that we were staying

332
00:28:06.559 --> 00:28:11.240
in concert with the subject matter in
which we are speaking of tonight. These

333
00:28:11.319 --> 00:28:17.079
two reports of the Big Muddy Monster
happened on June twenty fifth and twenty six

334
00:28:17.319 --> 00:28:22.640
of nineteen seventy three, So the
next report follows that. The next morning

335
00:28:22.720 --> 00:28:27.359
after the first report, Officer man
Warning said he was the officer on duty

336
00:28:27.680 --> 00:28:33.680
when a call came in from the
Westwood Hills Subdivision that two teenagers were sitting

337
00:28:33.720 --> 00:28:37.759
on the back porch when they spotted
a tall, white hair covered creature in

338
00:28:37.799 --> 00:28:42.759
a field on the edge of the
woods. Man warning said, officers responded,

339
00:28:42.920 --> 00:28:47.400
and while they were in the area, a neighbor said their five year

340
00:28:47.400 --> 00:28:52.079
old son had just come in ten
minutes earlier, saying he saw something on

341
00:28:52.119 --> 00:28:55.680
the edge of the woods. My
partner and I decided to go down to

342
00:28:55.839 --> 00:29:00.599
the area where they said they saw
this thing. Man Morning said he started

343
00:29:00.640 --> 00:29:06.240
traveling in a footpath through the bushes
and noticed a stench and slimy film on

344
00:29:06.279 --> 00:29:11.799
the tree branches. I saw the
substance and smelled the smell myself, he

345
00:29:11.880 --> 00:29:18.039
said. Now. Jerry Nellis an
officer with the Carbondale, Illinois Police Department.

346
00:29:18.200 --> 00:29:22.200
At the time, was a dog
handler and was called to the scene.

347
00:29:22.279 --> 00:29:26.839
The dog did track the scent all
the way to a barn, but

348
00:29:26.960 --> 00:29:32.319
once it got to the barn,
the dog refused to go inside. We

349
00:29:32.519 --> 00:29:36.920
never got a good view of any
tracks. Nellis said, Is there a

350
00:29:36.960 --> 00:29:41.920
sasquatch? And I don't know,
but it does make for a good story.

351
00:29:41.960 --> 00:29:47.680
Thanks again for listening to this edition
of The Big Distraction, Bigfoot Bullhorn

352
00:29:47.839 --> 00:29:55.240
exclusively on the sasquatch experience, and
as always, remember keep those toes in

353
00:29:55.359 --> 00:30:11.319
the mud. Well, thanks Vance
for the big Foot bullhorn this week the

354
00:30:11.400 --> 00:30:18.720
Muddy Monster. If I could just
interject, I was just so entranced by

355
00:30:18.799 --> 00:30:25.599
the new Bigfoot bullhorn graphics. Pretty
cool, you're outstand. Yeah, you're

356
00:30:25.599 --> 00:30:30.160
welcome. Sean John did awesome with
that. That was all Vance and I

357
00:30:30.240 --> 00:30:33.599
discussing this morning about how we need
to give some things a facelift. Here.

358
00:30:33.599 --> 00:30:36.359
We were talking about ourselves because you
know, we're getting old and every

359
00:30:36.359 --> 00:30:38.759
time we fired it smells like cream
corn. But uh, and you can't

360
00:30:38.799 --> 00:30:45.920
trust it. Were trust but as
we age gracefully, you know, we

361
00:30:45.960 --> 00:30:48.920
also figured we'd update some of our
graphics here. But folks, if you're

362
00:30:48.960 --> 00:30:52.640
just joining us, regrettably you're listening
to the SaaS Bunch experience. I'm Sean

363
00:30:52.680 --> 00:30:56.559
Forker, that's Vance Nesbit, James
Baker's forehead, and Matt Arner down there

364
00:30:56.559 --> 00:31:00.440
in the bottom corner. We've been
talking about the nineteen seven teventy three UFO

365
00:31:00.559 --> 00:31:03.960
flap. We're gonna, I think
we're gonna stop calling it the Westmoreland County

366
00:31:03.960 --> 00:31:07.839
flap because we've discussed it's affected a
lot more than that. It's hit Washington

367
00:31:07.920 --> 00:31:12.279
County, so you know, we
all know I love John Green. Right.

368
00:31:12.720 --> 00:31:18.319
John Green, the prolific bigfoot investigator
writer, wrote Sasquatch he had some

369
00:31:18.319 --> 00:31:22.480
among us pretty much the best book
written on the subject, although Matt Prewitt

370
00:31:22.480 --> 00:31:25.079
may be giving him a run for
his money. We can send a little

371
00:31:25.079 --> 00:31:30.680
shout out to our Matt Prewitt.
There. From June nineteen seventy three to

372
00:31:30.720 --> 00:31:34.799
February eighteenth, nineteen seventy four,
the UFO Group, which was Dan Gordon's

373
00:31:34.839 --> 00:31:40.079
group, documented one hundred and eighteen
such sightings with two hundred and forty five

374
00:31:40.240 --> 00:31:45.359
witnesses. Two hundred and forty five
ninety one reports were in Westmoreland County,

375
00:31:45.480 --> 00:31:51.480
seven in Alleghany, six in Indiana, five each in Fayette and Washington Counties,

376
00:31:51.920 --> 00:31:55.920
three in Beaver, and one in
Somerset. Only about thirty of these

377
00:31:55.960 --> 00:32:00.160
sightings took place in daylight, while
there were twenty four at dust and thirty

378
00:32:00.240 --> 00:32:06.200
in the vicinity of a ten and
eleven PM. Forty nine of the creatures

379
00:32:06.200 --> 00:32:08.839
were seen in wooded areas, but
there were nineteen year trailers in eighteen near

380
00:32:08.920 --> 00:32:15.160
houses. Only ten were seen on
roads, so just kind of interesting.

381
00:32:15.240 --> 00:32:16.839
As you know, he looked at
these reports as they were coming in.

382
00:32:16.880 --> 00:32:21.880
You know, Sasquad James among Us
written around that time, so that's fresh

383
00:32:21.960 --> 00:32:23.960
material. And he went through and
dived in and you know, did a

384
00:32:23.960 --> 00:32:27.920
little deep dive on that. And
I think we've got Henry back. Henry,

385
00:32:27.960 --> 00:32:30.759
how are you doing there, buddy? I'm hanging in there, which

386
00:32:30.839 --> 00:32:35.640
by connection was so as we're talking, Henry, what's your thoughts on seventy

387
00:32:35.640 --> 00:32:37.240
three. You've heard some of the
things going on, You're familiar with the

388
00:32:37.279 --> 00:32:42.759
material. What's Henry May thinking on
this? Well? Now, John Green

389
00:32:42.880 --> 00:32:46.319
said best. He said he didn't
like to explain another mystery, right,

390
00:32:46.680 --> 00:32:50.240
he didn't like to explain a mystery
with another mission. Well, the thing

391
00:32:50.440 --> 00:32:54.200
is you can't deny what was going
on, especially in Westmoreland County, right,

392
00:32:54.839 --> 00:33:00.079
is a big deal and it's documented
well documented overall. How do you

393
00:33:00.000 --> 00:33:04.599
do you think it impact how do
you think it impacted Bigfoot studies? Well,

394
00:33:04.759 --> 00:33:10.400
I think it brought gotta love it. Sorry, Henry, Sorry folks,

395
00:33:13.319 --> 00:33:15.960
it's a weather thing. It brought. Like I said, it brought

396
00:33:15.079 --> 00:33:22.319
a new element into the studies of
Sasquatch in that we had something interesting and

397
00:33:22.480 --> 00:33:28.200
new and even controversial going on with
the UFO flat. When do you think

398
00:33:28.599 --> 00:33:32.680
when do you think it became controversial
that these two subjects were starting to overlap

399
00:33:34.240 --> 00:33:38.240
from the get go. Was there
always some sort of hesitation or some sort

400
00:33:38.279 --> 00:33:44.000
of like alienation between the two groups
that said, you shall not commingle and

401
00:33:44.519 --> 00:33:49.599
share documentation and you know, these
topics should not intertwine, or did that

402
00:33:49.640 --> 00:33:52.759
come later on, because that's that's
a question I have. When did that

403
00:33:52.799 --> 00:33:57.559
become such a a hotly debated,
hotly divisive topic, you know, Sean,

404
00:33:57.920 --> 00:34:04.440
I think it really got divisive within
the last ten years, maybe with

405
00:34:04.599 --> 00:34:08.519
social media. I know, from
even with the old group. You know,

406
00:34:09.760 --> 00:34:14.840
there was a lot of people that
you know, had varying concepts of

407
00:34:14.920 --> 00:34:21.360
what a bigfoot was. You know, we I'll use the word. You

408
00:34:21.360 --> 00:34:23.079
know. There was people in the
WU crowd, and there's people in the

409
00:34:23.360 --> 00:34:29.880
in the Ape crowd and everyone.
You know, Hey, we'd we'd sit

410
00:34:29.920 --> 00:34:32.840
there, we'd have our discussions face
to face, you know, or at

411
00:34:34.480 --> 00:34:38.239
at a conference or or whatnot,
and hey, you know what, we

412
00:34:38.320 --> 00:34:42.280
have difference of opinion, but we
still believe that there was something there.

413
00:34:42.599 --> 00:34:46.519
Then it seems within like the last
ten years, probably really with the with

414
00:34:46.559 --> 00:34:52.360
the Onslaught of some of the claims
coming forth on on Facebook. It really

415
00:34:52.400 --> 00:34:58.800
started, we really started to see
a divisiveness in the community. And you

416
00:34:58.840 --> 00:35:02.280
know, I have an open mind, you know. With that, said

417
00:35:02.360 --> 00:35:07.199
Matt, and you bring up a
really good point. This does not mean

418
00:35:07.719 --> 00:35:20.679
that one creature may be similar to
another creature of extraterrestrial origin. Only because

419
00:35:20.679 --> 00:35:24.199
of the fact that it seems that
and I brought this up in the past,

420
00:35:24.760 --> 00:35:32.280
a head that sits on the shoulders
with two appendage arms with opposable thumbs,

421
00:35:32.360 --> 00:35:37.559
and on the thorax and legs,
it may be the perfect design,

422
00:35:38.079 --> 00:35:46.679
and therefore it was created that way
to bring another species from someplace else to

423
00:35:47.480 --> 00:35:53.199
mimic something that is already an indigenous
creature here. So there could be two

424
00:35:53.199 --> 00:35:59.320
different things that we're experiencing, but
yet it seems like the argument is it's

425
00:35:59.360 --> 00:36:04.480
either one or the other. It
could be two different things all together.

426
00:36:05.440 --> 00:36:09.239
And I've always had that argument with
myself going you know, with the flat

427
00:36:09.280 --> 00:36:16.599
that happened in Pennsylvania, with this
red sphere that Stan Gordon reported that landed

428
00:36:16.639 --> 00:36:23.000
on the farm that was bigger than
a farmhouse itself, and these two bigfoot

429
00:36:23.360 --> 00:36:30.440
like creatures came out and you know, George fired to trace a rounds over

430
00:36:30.519 --> 00:36:35.480
it. If you don't know that
story, it's fascinating within itself. But

431
00:36:36.800 --> 00:36:44.440
these could be similar looking creatures,
but yet two entirely different type of creatures

432
00:36:44.480 --> 00:36:49.599
altogether, not to be confused as
one. So you're saying that just because

433
00:36:50.199 --> 00:36:57.239
you could have different different scenarios going
on at the same time and they don't

434
00:36:57.320 --> 00:36:59.639
have to be related at all.
What do they call that? Correlation?

435
00:36:59.800 --> 00:37:05.119
Not causation, right, or you
know, not causation, And that's a

436
00:37:05.159 --> 00:37:07.679
potentiality too, Like we have to
you know, acknowledge. But you know,

437
00:37:07.719 --> 00:37:10.639
when you look at this just shit. By the sheer amount of dates,

438
00:37:12.000 --> 00:37:17.159
So many of these accounts happened as
we start going through August of seventy

439
00:37:17.239 --> 00:37:22.320
three, like so much of this
is occurring, and when some of its

440
00:37:22.320 --> 00:37:27.199
coming from newspaper articles, right,
but also I'm just trying to find some

441
00:37:27.280 --> 00:37:30.079
of it. Once again, here's
the rotten eggs smelling bigfoot sighting on a

442
00:37:30.119 --> 00:37:35.119
golf course. Again, people start
talking to the state police at the end

443
00:37:35.199 --> 00:37:38.000
of August. August twenty fifth,
nineteen seventy three, that's the story where

444
00:37:38.000 --> 00:37:44.079
a woman in a trailer cart court
saw a huge black creature around seven feet

445
00:37:44.119 --> 00:37:47.199
tall, rip open an electrical box
attached to a trailer, and as the

446
00:37:47.239 --> 00:37:51.800
woman screamed, the creature fled and
it left behind a three toed prints.

447
00:37:51.880 --> 00:37:53.599
So I talked about that earlier.
That happens right in the middle of all

448
00:37:53.639 --> 00:37:59.840
this. Now you're talking about that
really interesting story as well with the you

449
00:37:59.920 --> 00:38:02.960
know what happened. I think that
happened was that the twenty October twenty fifth,

450
00:38:04.000 --> 00:38:07.039
nineteen seventy three North Union. Yes, yes, yeah, now what

451
00:38:07.679 --> 00:38:10.840
he's talking about, folks. For
those of you listening, a man and

452
00:38:10.840 --> 00:38:15.679
two boys saw a UFO land in
a field. Upon investigating, they observed

453
00:38:15.679 --> 00:38:20.119
two tall, hairy, bipedal creatures
walking along a fence line. The creatures

454
00:38:20.119 --> 00:38:22.639
had matted, dirty brown hair,
glowing green eyes, broad shoulders, and

455
00:38:22.679 --> 00:38:28.440
small necks. They walked stiff leg
giving them the giving them an overall robot

456
00:38:28.599 --> 00:38:32.119
like appearance. The man shot at
the creatures, which caused the spherical UFO

457
00:38:32.199 --> 00:38:37.320
that had landed in the field to
leave the area immediately. Although the witness

458
00:38:37.360 --> 00:38:40.199
felt he didn't miss, the shots
had little effect on the strange creatures.

459
00:38:40.239 --> 00:38:45.840
They simply turned around and traversed their
way back to the ufo along the fence.

460
00:38:45.920 --> 00:38:50.599
Right, a luminescent ring on the
ground remained where the UFO had once

461
00:38:50.679 --> 00:38:53.000
been. The witness left the area
and returned later with a state trooper.

462
00:38:53.400 --> 00:38:58.679
Although the glowing ring near the ground
was still visible, its intensity had diminished.

463
00:38:58.920 --> 00:39:02.920
Several hours later, the luminescent ring
completely dissipated. So they're talking about

464
00:39:02.960 --> 00:39:07.199
this happening in twenty fifth Small Town
Monsters does a great reaction of this go

465
00:39:07.199 --> 00:39:13.480
ahead vance right. No, when
the state trooper arrived at the scene,

466
00:39:14.280 --> 00:39:19.960
he didn't make this specific statement that
the glow on the ground was still bright

467
00:39:20.079 --> 00:39:24.119
enough to be able to read a
newspaper by. And the first round that

468
00:39:24.280 --> 00:39:30.079
was shot at the creature was not
shot at the creature to kill it.

469
00:39:30.079 --> 00:39:32.719
It was a trace around. If
you don't know what a trace around is,

470
00:39:32.880 --> 00:39:37.599
it's a lit magnesium round to light
up the area, and it was

471
00:39:37.599 --> 00:39:43.519
shot over the heads to try to
intimidate these creatures to move away, But

472
00:39:43.599 --> 00:39:47.280
it was not shot at the creatures
to kill them. And there were two

473
00:39:47.320 --> 00:39:52.480
of those tracer rounds that were fired. The third round was fired at the

474
00:39:52.559 --> 00:39:58.960
creature because now they're being intimidated,
and that's when these creatures turn around and

475
00:39:59.000 --> 00:40:00.840
walked away. I mean, and
they do a great reenactment of it through

476
00:40:00.880 --> 00:40:05.840
the you know, animation and small
town monsters. What is innovation chestnut Ridge

477
00:40:05.920 --> 00:40:08.000
is that where they tell the story
and so go check that out. It's

478
00:40:08.000 --> 00:40:12.280
playing in the background, actually on
one of the monitors here in the back.

479
00:40:12.800 --> 00:40:15.760
Sorry, Seth and team. Not
copyright infringement, it's just thematic.

480
00:40:16.760 --> 00:40:22.719
Well, in November of seventy three
in Fayette County, a man shot at

481
00:40:22.760 --> 00:40:27.599
supposed a bigfoot creature and it disappeared. He saw the same creature later and

482
00:40:27.639 --> 00:40:30.079
shot at the creature again. This
time the creature grunted and cried. So

483
00:40:30.639 --> 00:40:35.920
you go from October to November you
get two bigfoots getting shots taken at,

484
00:40:36.239 --> 00:40:39.400
which is interesting because you know,
you add some clarity when I read the

485
00:40:39.639 --> 00:40:44.719
when I read the report that was
reported to an organization locally, it makes

486
00:40:44.760 --> 00:40:47.119
it sound as if he took shots
at the sasquatch creatures. You know,

487
00:40:47.159 --> 00:40:50.679
you're saying tracers, you know what
I mean. So there's differences in the

488
00:40:50.719 --> 00:40:52.480
stories that we're getting, you know, and how they're portrayed, which is

489
00:40:52.480 --> 00:40:54.760
interesting. I mean, it doesn't
mean anything, but it's just interesting.

490
00:40:54.800 --> 00:40:59.400
On how those reports are interpreted and
then put out there on the internet,

491
00:40:59.519 --> 00:41:01.559
and just going going through here some
more, just trying to see here we

492
00:41:01.639 --> 00:41:07.159
go. February sixth, nineteen seventy
four, one of the strangest things happening.

493
00:41:07.960 --> 00:41:10.119
A woman heard a noise outside her
trailer, went to the doorway with

494
00:41:10.119 --> 00:41:15.280
a sixteen gage shotgun, opened the
door and saw seven foot tall a white

495
00:41:15.280 --> 00:41:19.320
creature in the doorway. She claims
to have shot at the creature and it

496
00:41:19.440 --> 00:41:22.360
disappeared into the flash of light.
Her son, who lived nearby, went

497
00:41:22.400 --> 00:41:27.440
to the area to investigate and saw
several hairy creatures there. He shot at

498
00:41:27.440 --> 00:41:30.119
them with a pistol. A large
red light hovered over to a wooden section

499
00:41:30.199 --> 00:41:35.320
about five hundred yards away during the
incident. So now take that February sixth,

500
00:41:35.360 --> 00:41:39.239
nineteen seventy four, partner that with
the October twenty fifth, nineteen seventy

501
00:41:39.280 --> 00:41:44.800
three, some very similar incidents happening
there. A witness was watching television when

502
00:41:44.800 --> 00:41:46.639
he heard a noise on the back
porch. When the witness went to the

503
00:41:46.639 --> 00:41:51.960
doorway to see out the back door, he saw a big hairy thing standing

504
00:41:52.039 --> 00:41:54.480
on two legs, looking through the
screen door at him. The witness ran

505
00:41:54.559 --> 00:41:58.840
back to the living room and grabbed
a loaded twenty two caliber handgun. He

506
00:41:58.880 --> 00:42:01.679
then fired through the screen door at
the creature, and the creature ran off,

507
00:42:01.719 --> 00:42:07.599
screaming. A neighbor heard the shots
and then the scream At the time,

508
00:42:07.639 --> 00:42:09.880
he turned on all the lights in
the house and outside, but could

509
00:42:09.880 --> 00:42:14.679
see nothing. The next day they
went to the area to see if they

510
00:42:14.679 --> 00:42:16.840
could see anything. No clear footprints
were found, but you could see that

511
00:42:16.920 --> 00:42:21.960
something big had run through the grass. The creature had also run through a

512
00:42:22.000 --> 00:42:24.559
barbed wire fence that had the strength
to keep a fifteen hundred pound bull from

513
00:42:24.599 --> 00:42:30.679
running through it. Right. Wow, So it's saying around that same time,

514
00:42:30.880 --> 00:42:34.119
a group of young men were walking
along the railroad tracks in the evening

515
00:42:34.119 --> 00:42:37.559
when they heard something running through the
brush on the hillside above them. They

516
00:42:37.599 --> 00:42:39.880
look up to see a dark brown
animal running on two legs across the top

517
00:42:39.920 --> 00:42:44.559
of the hollow above them. And
that's kind of the last story I got

518
00:42:44.599 --> 00:42:47.559
around nineteen seventy four in that time. Anything you guys want to add to

519
00:42:47.559 --> 00:42:51.800
those because if you for some reason, it's southwest Pa. They like to

520
00:42:51.840 --> 00:42:57.400
take shots at this damn thing,
right, Well, say, I blame

521
00:42:57.440 --> 00:43:00.880
them well bing you know, vance
been a good point in the beginning,

522
00:43:00.960 --> 00:43:06.480
being that the Patterson Gimmelin film wasn't
a huge thing, and that Bigfoot as

523
00:43:06.480 --> 00:43:13.079
an animal wasn't considered a big thing
to reporting like that. The people outdoors

524
00:43:13.119 --> 00:43:16.519
may have saw it as an intrusive
animal, not as much bigfoot, like

525
00:43:16.880 --> 00:43:20.239
hey, you know, that's kind
of bear like, but it's not a

526
00:43:20.239 --> 00:43:22.800
bear. But it's coming towards us. And they're already in the woods with

527
00:43:23.079 --> 00:43:29.079
guns to hunt something else, so
like aggression's already up and they're like fight

528
00:43:29.159 --> 00:43:31.119
or flight, and hey, I've
got her rifle, you know what I

529
00:43:31.199 --> 00:43:35.719
mean. So I don't think it's
the same. I don't think it's the

530
00:43:35.760 --> 00:43:38.280
same group that you would look at
today that might be in the woods or

531
00:43:38.360 --> 00:43:44.239
out there to commune with nature or
to to you know, have a picnic,

532
00:43:44.400 --> 00:43:47.639
or to you know, something like
you forage for mushrooms. These guys

533
00:43:47.719 --> 00:43:52.239
were out there to hunt something else
and ran into this thing, so that

534
00:43:53.000 --> 00:43:57.800
I think that their mindset was,
yeah, why not, We'll see what

535
00:43:57.840 --> 00:44:00.960
it tastes like. You know.
Yeah, not a damn thing safe about

536
00:44:01.000 --> 00:44:06.280
any of these scenarios that happened here. Gentlemen, Let me tell you orange,

537
00:44:06.360 --> 00:44:08.360
back then that could be said to
these folks. You know, you

538
00:44:08.480 --> 00:44:13.079
just talk about open doors and pulling
triggers like I mean, I guess you

539
00:44:13.119 --> 00:44:15.440
didn't have to worry about the castle
doctrine back then. But my god,

540
00:44:15.519 --> 00:44:19.159
these things are out there that you
know, with all these big foot shot

541
00:44:19.159 --> 00:44:22.880
I'm surprised there's not been a body
that turned out somewhere. It's also a

542
00:44:22.920 --> 00:44:29.239
time differential because back then you didn't
have the you know, security systems we

543
00:44:29.360 --> 00:44:32.719
have today, and you would call
a police officer if you got one,

544
00:44:32.760 --> 00:44:36.239
he could be two hours before he
gets to you. So a lot of

545
00:44:36.239 --> 00:44:39.920
people are ready for home defense.
Apparently they security systems in the world Smith

546
00:44:39.960 --> 00:44:45.320
and Wesson and Remington plus yeah,
plus you're looking at the time variance is

547
00:44:45.360 --> 00:44:49.519
like a lot of like you know, we were talking about how Sylviet Union

548
00:44:49.639 --> 00:44:52.039
was considered the big red you know, scare and stuff like that. So

549
00:44:52.079 --> 00:44:55.480
they were already on edge of somebody
coming to their house, you know,

550
00:44:57.000 --> 00:45:00.840
to start trouble. Yes, because
that's exactly where it's to happen with a

551
00:45:00.960 --> 00:45:08.559
Soviet invasion in the farmlands of Westmoreland
County, Pennsylvania. Yeah, you got

552
00:45:08.559 --> 00:45:16.400
an entirely different culture. Yeah,
it's an entirely different culture and mindset at

553
00:45:16.440 --> 00:45:24.119
that time period. Again, I
will mention there's no social media whatsoever.

554
00:45:24.559 --> 00:45:30.400
All you had was three or four
channels on your television set. If you

555
00:45:30.599 --> 00:45:37.719
came across something happens stance that presented
some information to you that you took an

556
00:45:37.719 --> 00:45:40.599
interest in, okay, you're going
to take it to your local library.

557
00:45:40.920 --> 00:45:45.920
What's the local library have at that
time, it did not have a whole

558
00:45:45.960 --> 00:45:51.079
lot, So the fear factor kind
of raises the temperature quite a bit.

559
00:45:51.199 --> 00:45:54.880
At that time. You're going to
have home defense, especially in the areas

560
00:45:54.920 --> 00:45:59.360
in which we are talking about.
You're going to have that home defense,

561
00:45:59.800 --> 00:46:02.440
and if something strange does happen,
what's the first thing you're going to do.

562
00:46:04.000 --> 00:46:07.920
You're in the Cold War right now
with Russia. Yeah, you're going

563
00:46:07.000 --> 00:46:10.719
to fire on something, and if
something strange happens, you're going to report

564
00:46:10.760 --> 00:46:20.320
it. I would be absolutely privileged
to the fact of how many reports were

565
00:46:20.360 --> 00:46:28.920
not reported of being fired upon something
that either disappeared. We get one or

566
00:46:28.920 --> 00:46:36.159
two of those reports, but I
wonder how many cases actually happened that were

567
00:46:36.199 --> 00:46:40.199
not reported. That would be completely
fascinating. To what we're talking about right

568
00:46:40.239 --> 00:46:45.679
now. You got to also look
at the fact that this is the same.

569
00:46:45.559 --> 00:46:49.800
Yes, there's a difference in decades, but you know the fact that

570
00:46:49.920 --> 00:46:52.360
you know, when they had the
radio would tell them that aliens were coming,

571
00:46:52.400 --> 00:46:55.440
and people were actually afraid it was
going to happen. You know,

572
00:46:55.920 --> 00:47:04.039
there was civil civil disobedience, civil
unrest. You know, you're looking at

573
00:47:04.199 --> 00:47:07.039
You're looking at the you know,
the end of the Vietnam War. You

574
00:47:07.079 --> 00:47:14.199
know, you're looking at a lot
of people that were scared and didn't didn't

575
00:47:14.199 --> 00:47:19.079
believe that if they couldn't protect their
family, you know, kind of like

576
00:47:19.119 --> 00:47:22.320
gather around the family with the pocket
full of shells. You know, they

577
00:47:22.360 --> 00:47:25.880
they believed that they couldn't protect the
family. Who could So when somebody they

578
00:47:25.920 --> 00:47:30.679
didn't know hit the front door,
they were ready and sometimes they didn't think

579
00:47:30.760 --> 00:47:36.079
before they shot, because in a
small town you could kill a man and

580
00:47:37.039 --> 00:47:40.360
it was an accident by the time
the Federals came. You know, no,

581
00:47:40.920 --> 00:47:46.039
very true my bigfoot UFO theory.
And I've taught to you Sean about

582
00:47:46.039 --> 00:47:51.760
it, and I think we talked
about privately. So what the what the

583
00:47:51.760 --> 00:47:58.760
theory is is people talk about UFOs
and Bigfoot uh together and they you know,

584
00:47:58.840 --> 00:48:01.519
automatically associated that, Okay, Bigfoot's
coming, you know, it must

585
00:48:01.559 --> 00:48:07.360
be an alien. The way I
figured it is, we have people that

586
00:48:07.639 --> 00:48:13.400
claim that they are abducted. So
how many people are there in the world?

587
00:48:13.800 --> 00:48:22.400
Seven billion? So you have a
small population of humanoid creatures, yeah,

588
00:48:23.639 --> 00:48:30.079
that are maybe I don't know,
you know, maybe anywhere from fifteen

589
00:48:30.159 --> 00:48:35.119
hundred, you know, individuals to
you know, maybe fifty thousands spread throughout

590
00:48:35.119 --> 00:48:39.079
North America. If UFOs are coming
through to like abduct people and you know,

591
00:48:39.199 --> 00:48:45.119
do their bad things, don't you
think that there's only a smaller population,

592
00:48:45.360 --> 00:48:51.039
so you're you're gonna see more UFOs
trying to find these big harry creatures

593
00:48:51.239 --> 00:48:53.199
that are out in the woods because
there's so few of them. Man.

594
00:48:53.239 --> 00:48:55.760
I think you make a good point
on that, and it's something that you

595
00:48:55.840 --> 00:48:59.280
and I have talked about in the
past, and I'm glad you brought it

596
00:48:59.360 --> 00:49:02.639
up, particularly in this show,
because I believe there was also somebody who

597
00:49:02.679 --> 00:49:08.559
was abducted that reported seeing other animals
and creatures that were also being held in

598
00:49:08.599 --> 00:49:12.400
the craft with them. And it
makes sense that, you know, if

599
00:49:12.400 --> 00:49:15.840
this being is native to our planet, the Sasquatch right, that it would

600
00:49:15.840 --> 00:49:21.840
be one of those creatures that would
potentially be of interest to the our extraterrestrial

601
00:49:21.920 --> 00:49:23.559
visitors. I mean, I think
we'd say for us to say now that

602
00:49:23.599 --> 00:49:30.639
we know we're being visited by beings
from another planet, without being conspiracy theorists

603
00:49:30.760 --> 00:49:35.400
or crazy. Nonetheless, Matt,
your points, your point to me is

604
00:49:35.519 --> 00:49:38.320
valid and on point in that respect. But as you know, we talked

605
00:49:38.360 --> 00:49:44.920
about guys for fifty years. You
know, fifty years ago this became this

606
00:49:45.039 --> 00:49:50.840
flap. The hundreds of reports and
witnesses that came forth and had these experiences

607
00:49:50.960 --> 00:49:57.320
in coinciding with one another, it
can't go unnoticed and it can't go unremarked.

608
00:49:57.360 --> 00:50:00.920
And Stanying Gordon, who's been in
the forefront for that for a long

609
00:50:00.000 --> 00:50:05.039
time, doctor Paul who's been more
behind the scenes, and the other researchers

610
00:50:05.039 --> 00:50:08.039
that investigated at that time, they
went through some strange shit, and they

611
00:50:08.079 --> 00:50:14.920
went through a very interesting time that
I don't know if we'd ever experience in

612
00:50:14.960 --> 00:50:19.159
our heyday we did, would it
be as dramatic as it was back then.

613
00:50:19.719 --> 00:50:22.719
And I think there's something else to
say for the fact that a lot

614
00:50:22.760 --> 00:50:30.400
of that activity has ceased that you're
not getting hundreds of reports like that happening.

615
00:50:30.519 --> 00:50:32.880
And Matt that could be right back
to the point you made earlier.

616
00:50:34.280 --> 00:50:37.679
It was the Cold War. We
are experimenting with nuclear energy and we know

617
00:50:37.800 --> 00:50:43.559
that that leaves isotopes and it leaves
residue, and if it's something these things

618
00:50:43.599 --> 00:50:46.719
were looking forward to as a sign
of what maybe that's how they measure intelligent

619
00:50:46.800 --> 00:50:51.119
life. You know, Star Trek
always used the you know, warp drive.

620
00:50:51.199 --> 00:50:54.039
Did they had the ability to you
know, what if they're the extraterrestrial

621
00:50:54.079 --> 00:51:00.119
equivalent. So that was nuclear you
know, harnessing nuclear power and again and

622
00:51:00.119 --> 00:51:02.840
that's a lot of scipercal No,
I get it right, But I mean

623
00:51:02.880 --> 00:51:07.559
it's a thought process, the logic
that's there right right. I would say

624
00:51:07.599 --> 00:51:16.159
too that in this timeframe of the
early nineteen seventies, the lack of technology

625
00:51:16.280 --> 00:51:22.400
which we have in our lapse today, it brought a romanticism to it,

626
00:51:22.519 --> 00:51:28.000
if that makes any sense to anybody. You could only communicate through CB or

627
00:51:28.000 --> 00:51:34.360
Ham radio, through a dial telephone. This is how you were communicating all

628
00:51:34.400 --> 00:51:42.000
your information of things that were just
not explainable at the time. Very lack

629
00:51:42.039 --> 00:51:50.159
of technological communication at that time,
and when Stan Gordon was compiling all this

630
00:51:50.360 --> 00:51:55.440
information, he's face to face with
all the information that he needs to be

631
00:51:55.519 --> 00:52:01.840
given to present that information to the
general public. Because it wasn't a social

632
00:52:01.880 --> 00:52:07.000
media event at that time. You
had to literally do face to face,

633
00:52:08.239 --> 00:52:15.360
do a report, get the emotion
physically of what the witnesses experienced, and

634
00:52:15.440 --> 00:52:22.719
then transpons that upon all of us. It's a whole different environment today.

635
00:52:22.920 --> 00:52:30.880
The technology today is kind of and
excuse the term, but retarding the emotion

636
00:52:31.079 --> 00:52:36.920
of what is experienced today. Yeah, go ahead, Sean. To illustrate

637
00:52:36.920 --> 00:52:38.800
the point you're making, if you
see that photograph of stand up in the

638
00:52:38.800 --> 00:52:44.119
corner with all that electronics behind it, is radio communications there, right.

639
00:52:44.599 --> 00:52:46.719
Yeah, you know, that's what
it took to communicate long distance. You

640
00:52:46.760 --> 00:52:51.480
know. I remember my great grandmother
having a CB setup like that in her

641
00:52:51.920 --> 00:52:54.000
in her house and she'd be able
to talk to people long distance with her.

642
00:52:54.320 --> 00:52:59.000
She had a massed antenna and my
great grandma loved her CB man.

643
00:52:59.079 --> 00:53:01.880
She could talk to people everywhere.
That's how you communicated. That was the

644
00:53:01.880 --> 00:53:06.000
social networking of the time. You
had a handle. I remember my PABs

645
00:53:06.039 --> 00:53:10.079
was Muddy Buddy and the big money
monster. It's funny that you brought that

646
00:53:10.199 --> 00:53:14.960
up. You know, this was
muddy buddy, and wow, that's awesome.

647
00:53:15.199 --> 00:53:17.119
But you also got to realize back
in that day, it was the

648
00:53:17.239 --> 00:53:22.480
days of the newspaper and the barber
shop and the beauty shop, where people

649
00:53:22.039 --> 00:53:25.599
talked at the diners and stuff like
that. And the thing was is we

650
00:53:25.639 --> 00:53:30.679
didn't have the we don't we have
the ability now to if I want to

651
00:53:30.719 --> 00:53:37.280
say something, I can reach thousands
of people within five minutes if I hit

652
00:53:37.320 --> 00:53:40.440
the right forums. I didn't have
that back then. And if your story

653
00:53:40.599 --> 00:53:46.280
wasn't something that the editor wanted to
hear, you were shut off. Yeah,

654
00:53:46.519 --> 00:53:52.159
you were touching. Well, there's
not this like there's conspiracy theories and

655
00:53:52.199 --> 00:53:54.119
there's whatever. But you realize that
if we were working on the days of

656
00:53:54.159 --> 00:54:00.719
the newspaper and the and the small
town gossipers, you couldn't say a lot

657
00:54:00.760 --> 00:54:04.920
of the stuff that we say now
because somebody in some room would go stuff

658
00:54:04.960 --> 00:54:08.800
listening to the baker, and then
I would basically have been silence. I

659
00:54:08.800 --> 00:54:12.400
don't know that's much different today.
We just have a lot more freedom with

660
00:54:12.440 --> 00:54:16.239
it. Yeah, but I could
find the worst thing is we've had this

661
00:54:16.320 --> 00:54:21.480
conversation of multiple times. I could
take a picture of the river, make

662
00:54:21.519 --> 00:54:23.199
a circle, and I could get
a hundred people to believe me I saw

663
00:54:23.320 --> 00:54:27.400
NeSSI in this Susquehanna, and then
those one hundred could turn it into a

664
00:54:27.480 --> 00:54:30.320
thousand. In a small town,
I could chose somebody a picture with a

665
00:54:30.320 --> 00:54:35.480
circle and they'd be like, go
home, Baker, get drunk, fair

666
00:54:35.559 --> 00:54:38.000
enough, And that's you know,
the newspaper was how these stories were told.

667
00:54:38.039 --> 00:54:42.000
They can't tell you how many of
these I was looking up tonight that

668
00:54:42.079 --> 00:54:45.480
were taken right from the newspaper.
They weren't even necessarily investigated by the research

669
00:54:45.559 --> 00:54:49.280
organization. You just put right out
there, go ahead. No, I

670
00:54:49.400 --> 00:54:52.920
was gonna say. You know,
if you came up with something like that,

671
00:54:53.000 --> 00:54:57.719
you would be shunned, you know, from your community. But really

672
00:54:57.760 --> 00:55:02.800
the only thing you had was church, bars, the diner, and really

673
00:55:02.880 --> 00:55:07.239
the newspaper that was that was it. You know, if you look at

674
00:55:07.239 --> 00:55:10.320
some of these old time newspapers,
you'll actually see you they'll actually have little

675
00:55:10.320 --> 00:55:16.000
gossip columns where they'll say, Sean
Forker left, you know, left his

676
00:55:16.079 --> 00:55:22.079
house to go to Monteursville. You
know, on this day you know,

677
00:55:22.199 --> 00:55:25.280
it's just weird, weird stuff that
they would have. But if something came

678
00:55:25.400 --> 00:55:30.280
up that and I always looked for, especially in the local papers where I

679
00:55:30.320 --> 00:55:34.199
live, for any sort of you
know, the wild man, the the

680
00:55:34.280 --> 00:55:37.239
you know, gorilla or there's been
actually a lot of mountain lion signings,

681
00:55:37.440 --> 00:55:43.320
so I looked for for those.
And every so often you'll you'll get something

682
00:55:43.440 --> 00:55:46.079
like that, but it'll be all
the way, you know, on the

683
00:55:46.199 --> 00:55:51.599
on the third page, at the
bottom column. And it's something that the

684
00:55:51.679 --> 00:55:54.320
editors didn't want to you know,
didn't want to put on their front page.

685
00:55:54.519 --> 00:55:59.239
You know that right, you know
there's something something weird in the woods.

686
00:55:59.559 --> 00:56:01.760
Yeah, they've we didn't want to
turn it into a tabloid newspaper.

687
00:56:02.000 --> 00:56:07.480
No I did it just tabloid column, yes, yes, no, fascinating

688
00:56:07.679 --> 00:56:10.360
guys. I'd also be remissed to
say we did get a phone call last

689
00:56:10.440 --> 00:56:15.559
night. I was talking to you
guys about it ago from Miss Grady out

690
00:56:15.599 --> 00:56:17.960
in Loser And County, who had
a very interesting tidbit to share with us

691
00:56:19.000 --> 00:56:23.360
that while doing renovations and homes,
he came across a wood carving in one

692
00:56:23.360 --> 00:56:29.159
of the barns from eighteen oh two
of a large hairy figure carved in the

693
00:56:29.199 --> 00:56:32.760
barn. So it was pretty interesting
and some interesting cool encounters he had out

694
00:56:32.800 --> 00:56:36.960
that way. He's going to stay
in touch with us. But I talked

695
00:56:36.960 --> 00:56:39.480
to him for over a half an
hour last night about interesting things happened in

696
00:56:39.519 --> 00:56:45.599
Loser and County. So more to
come from Grady fingers crossed that you too

00:58:01.840 --> 00:58:06.039
we want to thank you for tuning
in. Good show tonight had some fun

714
00:58:06.199 --> 00:58:08.480
a lot. This only scratched the
surface again of these topics. I feel

715
00:58:08.480 --> 00:58:13.159
like an hour it's just not enough. No kidding, it's not. It's

716
00:58:13.199 --> 00:58:15.960
not. But you know that's why
we have more episodes and we can come

717
00:58:16.000 --> 00:58:21.599
back and revisit this topic. I'm
Sean Forker, that's James Baker, Matt

718
00:58:21.719 --> 00:58:23.920
Arner, Vance Nesbit, Henry May
who's been on and off. We hope

719
00:58:23.920 --> 00:58:28.239
he's okay with the bad weather.
And if Henry was here, what would

720
00:58:28.280 --> 00:58:31.920
he say, Vance, y'all be
good or be good at it? All?

721
00:58:32.039 --> 00:58:36.559
Right, folks, we'll see next
week. Our episode is going to
