Just a Little Girl from 5th Ward Texas is Conswello Baker Foster's life experiences and journey. Fifth Ward, Texas is where it all started with many stigmas and stereotypes, which plagued the very essence of her community. The reader will journey into aspects of her life and see how she uncovers the mask. The mask of shame, fear, suffering in silence, depression, anxiety, abandonment, hurt, self-destruction/ sabotage, insecurity, fornication, lack of self-worth, and unforgiveness is dismantled. The release of this book is the act of facing her fears, exposing oneself, and letting go of anything stopping forward progress.

Romans 8:1 NIV reads “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Her hope is that you find peace, healing, restoration, faith and gain a closer walk with God (2 Corinthians 5:7 [NIV]). James 5:16 NKJV “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." Never give up, know you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength (Philippians 4:13 [NKJV]). You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37 [NKJV]).
