We put the tea in reality. Oh my god, this week we have so much going on. We have the newest episode of The Kardashians, another episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, and Salt Lake City. I mean, I'm so excited. There's so much to talk about. Wednesday nights are getting really busy for us with all the new episodes, and now there's Love Is Blind coming out and yes Winter Oh let's I guess we should let people know we will be discussing those shows as well in the next episode. Yes, okay, let's get into it. Um, should we start with the Kardashians. Let's do it.

1:10 Okay. So this episode, I was loving Chloe. She was like letting loose in Miami. It was so nice to see the old Chloe. She was like partying, having fun. I really missed the old Chloe. Um. I wish that Kim was like there for her because she was just like a little bit more focusing on We're kind of like a Debbie Downer, but I love seeing Chloe like in her element in Miami. Can we go back and quickly kind of recap what happened in this episode just in case someone is not as caught up and wants to know what we're talking about Chris undergoes.

1:51 So Chris undergoes hip surgery and begins her vote to recovery, which is amazing. She's so strong. Love it. And then um, him and Chloe take Miami for the SKIMS launch, which, by the way, I live in Miami. I was here doing this. I wish I was invited. Rude and Kylie and Candle were supposed to take Vegas, but Kylie bailed, so it was just Candle on Haley Baber and like on Kylie's part exactly. And that was basically the whole episode. So now I can discuss like in more detail. Okay, let's actually start from the beginning. Um, when the episode open and it was like Chris getting hurt hip surgery, I was like, Okay, did we really need to see the full surgery the hammering.

2:37 I'm like, this is too much for me. I actually couldn't even watch it always weirds me out on any show one day have cameras inside the operating room, and I'm like, is that hygienic? Are these people like scrubbed in? Like what's happening? Especially during COVID times? I mean, I feel like that just makes it so much harder. Like yeah, like I just feel like there was no like need to surgery because it's like, fine, she got surgery. You know, we'll get skipped to the afterpart. Yeah, the recovery part where everything's better, Like I don't need to see the bloody gore and everything. That just just like a filler, right, Like there was no reason for it. I mean, this whole episode I was not really into. I feel like it felt mostly like an ad for like a lot of the Kardashian businesses and stuff, and it was a lot of them complaining about being famous, which I thought was kind of ironic given who they are and that it's their reality show. So yeah, it's funny though, because I mean the only person not complaining is obviously the person who propelled them into this fame, which is Kim, and she's loving every moment and I respect that, Like I'm like, listen, you built this career for yourself and you're actually enjoying it, Like that's refreshing. Yeah, she's thriving like she was owning it. All the cameras on her. She loves the spotlight but never complains professional. I love that. Yeah. No,

4:08 she's she's very hard working, as we know. She loves to say, um, she definitely gets her ass and works. Yes. Uh, oh my god. I was actually dying though. It was a little bit delusional when she said in the show that Apple, Nike, Skins like all in the same sentence. I'm like, Okay, Skins is doing so well, but like, let's not put it out the same level. To be fair. I think every like startup that's valued over a billion as a unicorn and starts being compared to like Uber and Apple and all those other ones. So I feel like she has something to be proud of, even though get differences. So I mean, who would have ever thought, like ten years ago that Kim Kardashian would own like a three billion dollar brand. Yeah no I didn't, But it is a little bit delusional to be like we're the same. It was interesting to see, Yeah, it was interesting to see like how professional she was and like how she was discussing like at the launch, she was like, I pick up a fabric, I pick every photo, I like, come up with every concept and everything, and I was like, really show us more of that, like take us like day at work with Kim. I want to see that because I want to see if that's actually true or if it's her business partner who's actually doing that. And she's just like I, in the face of it, obsessed with Emma gred So. Emabree is a co founder Slash business partner, which I did not know for the longest time until I went to a conference and saw her speak,

5:40 And she's so inspirational. She's amazing, just like so smart, so accomplished at such a young age, and just like I mean, I would love to have a partner like that. She's amazing. So I mean obviously she's in the background and doing probably the operations and like finance stuff, and Kim does all the creative and whatever, but like I really do want to see Kim, like see how she comes up with the concepts, because the Skim's concepts and even like the photo shoots, the celebrities, she hires the models, it's all like it's always like such an interesting concept each drop is a thing. You know. I want to see how she comes comes up with all that. Yeah, I know I thought that, Um, her all of her ideas are so inventive, like how she said that she takes the girls insecurity and she makes something that like hides it, which is so smart because we all have her like problem area and she was like, we have a bikini or shapewear for whatever problem area you're trying to hide. That was amazing because like when you go to a store and you're like, hey, I can't I wish I could have a bikini like hides my arms or something or like my stomach, and she's like, tada, that's right about you girl. Yeah, that was amazing. That launch looked fun. Um.

6:50 I did really enjoy them partying obviously in my city, but I was dying at how much they were not enjoying the club. I did not expect that. I was like, oh my god, Shade. I feel like they want a little early though. I mean, like you know that early since COVID Miami has been starting like really early and ending really early, so like I feel like two am was like prime time to go. I just like the place they chose was not like the most fun they never have, like really fun like DJs. I just felt like the music they weren't vibing with. Yeah, I mean I went to a story like I think like seven years ago or something. It was for fun. Then I think they actually went together with um we did, and it's like it used to be one of my favorite places, but now it's just like turned into like a more like less of a dance club, Like they don't really have as many DJs and stuff. It's more like kind of more hip hop e now.

7:49 So I feel like maybe they wanted more about you know e d M. Yeah, they wanted to go a little bit harder. Yeah, they wanted to rave you know closet. You know who didn't want to rave is Kendall in Vegas. She was having it. It's actually funny that someone who really doesn't seem to enjoy partying so much came up with like such an amazing alcohol brand. I know, I'm like, wait, so do you just drink this at home then? Because you're like a grandma and hate partying? No like that. I mean, honestly, that trip did not look that fun, Like it was kind of like it wasn't as fun as the Miami trip. I'll tell you, yeah, I mean Vegas. I feel like it's a little bit overrated unless you are getting like blackout drunk, because ye, like it's a hard place to be like not blackout. Yeah, And I don't think that was Kendall's vibe on the trip, but I did like seeing I did love seeing Brody Jenner show up. I never thought I would see him again on a Kardashian show because like they kind of seem like they had their like falling out a little bit ago, when well not so little ago, but with Kim's wedding and stuff, he wasn't he didn't come, and because his girlfriend wasn't invited, it was that whole thing. And then ever since then he hasn't been on the show. So I was really excited to see him, Like they're supporting Kendall. It was really cute. I was

9:20 like ten years ago, no, yeah, but yeah, no, we haven't seen him. I mean we've seen him like a bit on the hills, like the New Hills, but he hasn't really been like around. So it was really nice that he was supporting her, and it was cute that Scott showed up you know famiilife. I love that as their new real estate thing together. Yeah, Like I feel like they have a lot in common and it's so cute, and I feel like, you know, who's more Vegas than like Brodie Jenner and Scott Dick. There's no one. They're like the epitome of Vegas. So they did all the partying that Kendall didn't exactly and like, weren't Travis and Courtney in Vegas at the same time have like their little wedding at a um Cha chapel there and like that he meet up with Candall. It was just like, oh, but here, but like we're doing our own thing. And then Courtney was like, why wasn't I invited to Miami? And It's like, well, aren't you getting married right now? Likes to do No. It was so cute. I loved UM the Miami trip. I always love to see like a little like UM cameo by Hailey Bieber. I think it's so cute, Like how close they are and obviously like their whole friend group was super cute to me. And it's funny how different like in life, like where Kylie is compared to the rest of her friends because she's such a mom like so like you know, she's like a mogul and yeah, she's like here, I'm not coming, but take my jet. I love that, just the casual jet. Her jet

10:52 is so cute. I'm obsessed with her jet. Like I was just having a conversation today with my friend and I was like, she's like, oh my god, I love Kim's at like I love all the Kashimi and I was like, no, I'm all about it's too minimalists for me. I love the pink and Kylie would be too scared to like even sit on those scenes like the like you can't enjoy yourself, it's too crazy. The last episode when she was like asking Candle, are you eating pasta on my jet? Or when she was like to Chloe like are you gonna do a spray tan on my voe on my jet? Like and be careful exactly, Like it's funny. I don't want that. I like the more chill vibe of like Kylie pink lights and like beautiful food printed out menus. It's so cute.

11:35 Um. Yeah, So Miami was super fun. It was nice to see like all the influences and how serious him is about her work as you were saying. I don't necessarily agree that you were saying that, like she wasn't there for Chloe during this party weekend because it was her work weekend. I but like put down the work for a second, Like, I mean, there's so many photos of them out there, are like, so what if there's like a bad photo or something when you know there's so many out there already, I think of them, there's like paparazzi shots that they don't get to choose from. So just be there for your sister. And you know she's going through clearly a lot right now. So I was expecting her to just be like partying and keeping it up beat for Chloe because Chloe needed that more than anyone. Well, I feel like that's why she invited her and Malika. She was like, Hey, you'll have your besties. They're like all our friends will be there. You don't really need me because it's a work thing for me. I'm going to focus on my hustle. And you know, she's so like obsessed with her work and her image. I feel like she's very O c D about her image. So she was sitting there, like you know, editing photos and it was just so funny because I'm like, that couldn't be me. I would be getting wrong. I would be partying. I was like, I want to party with Chloe.

12:52 She looks so funny. Oh my god, the tequila shots from the little teacups, Oh my god, so funny. I Chloe, she was like, super lit, super fun. I felt bad that she didn't enjoy the club, and you know, Kim tried. She went to the club. I didn't think she would have she would go. Yeah, I mean, what can you do when it's not the vibe. Honestly, Dave Godman did them dirty. He could have like taken them to like a more fun club like Live was way more fun. Yeah, like Live or Bust. I don't understand why. I mean, I guess it depends on the night. I feel like Live is only good some nights. But still yeah, yeah, I mean, honestly, I haven't gone so long. It's just there's so much more to do now. But Swan was fun. I mean, you want to Swan last time you visited? That was nice. I went, like the opening weekend it was nice. Yeah, um yeah, So what else happened this episode? We had Chloe saying that she wants to get a boob job, which I was like, no, you don't even like why you have like perfect, perky boobs. I was very confused by that, Oh my god, that whole boob job segue. I was just like, I don't get it. You don't need one. You look amazing and clothes. I wish I had your boobs. Yeah, but like it's sad that she feels like she's been compared to her sisters so much that like she always wants to do stuff. Yeah, I feel like Chloe struggles with like that insecurity of always like comparing herself and like body image issues. That was

14:26 a little sad to see. I feel like that's really hard, and my heart aches for her because I think she's so beautiful. She's literally never looked better. She's always she looks amazing. Yeah do you think um, yeah, sorry, no, she's beautiful. But do you think um that Kim rerecorded her like interviews, because I do. She does look different. She looks a lot skinnier in her interviews than she does in actual show, like while it's being filmed Drive. And so my theory is that she said a lot more about pe and she's editing it out afterwards because she's now broken up with him and doesn't want to reveal as much and get too much into the relationship. I think if they were still together, we would see a lot more of that. But actually, you're right. She she didn't say his name once this whole episode. Yeah, I mean next episode we might get some of that because she's going I think, to the Mecala and he comes with her obviously, so it'll be hard to avoid the p conversation and getting the juicy details. But like, I'm hoping we get stuff other than the whole grandmother like sex by the fireplace thing, because that was just not the kind of info I wanted. Well, today's um sex info. Nobody asked what was Chris and Corey? So, oh my god, like too much,

15:58 too much, Like I need to heal fast her so I can like do fun things and take care of Corey's needs or something on that, And I was like, not again, why must they do this every episode like you do? Uses. I love that You're like, you know, getting it on at your age is beautiful, but keep it to yourself again, it's funny. Um. I was so happy for Chris that like her healing was going so well. She's like back to normal now, So that was great to see. She's a superwoman honestly, the fact that she did it without any meds, because she was like, I'm still working, I'm signing too many documents, Like imagine the pain. I'd be like, no, give me, give me all the meds. I'm not working right now.

16:45 I feel like I'm done. I'm hoped for now. She's actually superwoman. I actually felt really bad for Candle and like knowing I guess now how bad her like anxiety is about like doing public things, and how crazy it is that she wants to kind of like she's not comfortable being famous, like as famous as they are, but yet she is still and still has like that public career. But at the same time, I'm like, okay, so if you don't want to be famous, and she kept being like I want to live on a farm and like wyoming, and like, well you can escape, escape it on like you can if you want to, Like it's not that hard. You have the resources. You can like buy a new house tomorrow, go live there. You can. She could still run her businesses. She can just do like a more relaxed approach to I mean, look at Rob, I'm sure you're still getting paid exactly. I think.

17:45 So it kind of annoys me when they complain about it so much, because I'm like, life is a life you chose, so you know, deal with it. I mean, and I feel like that this whole episode was complaining, complaining, complaining, Like for me, yeah, I'm like, you signed up for it. You guys are like the epitome of being famous for me. When they started, she was a child. I don't think she had a lot to say, Like I feel like, no, Kylie, I'm sorry, Kendall, Oh yes, yeah, yeah, that's true. But control she could leave the like she could choose to not be on the show as much like Courtney is doing. I think I think it's a decision that she made and she I think she like secretly likes the fame and all the benefits that come from it, but she doesn't like, you know, the paparazzi and like the media backlash and stuff, and it's like, if you want one, you can't have not have the other. I think actually, maybe she's being a good sister and feels like she needs to pick up slack for Kylie and Courtney who don't want to be filmed because like they have kids and stuff. Of maybe she's just like fine, like I'll do more of the show, but yeah, that could be a yeah. I mean, I feel like Courtney if anyone, I really miss her on the show because she I think she brought so much to it, like her dead humor and like her just like not giving a funk was like such a good

I'm actually really looking forward to seeing more of her next episode, um, which will discuss next week. And now can we move on to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, which is the real ship show of the week? Oh my god, another crazy, chaotic episode in the books. I can't even I don't even know where to start. Do we start with? The argument was Whitney at the beginning and Heather, Yeah, so we're coming back that this trip from hell is still not over. By the way, this is another week of just like them being stuck in Arizona, which apparently is cold. When they're they're weird. Whitney is still being a little I don't want to say crazy, but like really unstable. I think she's going through something really dark and she needs to be going through it off of camera, and she needs to stop drinking so much and like taking it out on everyone else around. Yeah, and like I don't even understand the argument, like she was getting so mad at Heather when like Heather was like I had nothing to do with this, Like why am I being pulled under the bus with you? Like you're the one who brought this up. And Meredith is like, why am I being pulled under the bus too? Like can you

20:48 just relax and go to bed? Heather literally told her earlier that they don't bring it up. Don't bring it up. She like, I don't know why. Whitney was surprised I had the was like I don't know what you're talking about, Like I don't nobody wanted to bring this up and with me, Like, I mean, I agree, she is going through something really, really horrible and she probably should be getting real help for it. And getting drunk with a bunch of you know, women you may or may not really be friends with, is like and filming it is not probably a great thing to do when you're going through this um. But last season, she wasn't really going through that, and she still would just like started out of the blue because she was just like board that dinner. I don't know, Like now I see why Mary Crosby did not want her around. Yeah, I feel like she's projecting all of her issues and like getting angry and taking it out on everybody else, and like she doesn't realize that they're two completely different issues. That like the jazz um the jazz Tolowy situation, and you're trauma are two different situations. So if Heather doesn't want to support you in your like jazz tickets blow situation, then that's fine. It's not the same as her um not being there for you with your like trauma, which I do think jumping ahead at the end of the dinner, I do think Heather

I can see why she has her frustrations considering, you know, what went on at the lingerie party, but I think she should just, you know, understand that her cousin is going through something, be there for her and you know, set aside her bad behavior and just be like I'm here for you despite what you did and yesterday, let's move past this and I want to like help you. Well, like she like was trying to avoid it. She's like, I'm on the bathroom, and then she's like what did I miss? And then Whitney's like, I'm on, how be with you? Like da da da da da, And it's like can you just have one freaking dinner where poor Heather gets to enjoy her food? But for her, she was also like egging it on a little bit when she was like, your trauma is like not the real issue. Jen's Jen going to person is the real issue. And I'm like those are both issues. Those are both really big issues. But I think what she meant was like that this trip is not about your trauma.

Can we address your trauma maybe later, or like make it about your trauma and want to ask us to be there for you, but like don't like trauma with the whole like you know, Lisa rumors. You know, I'm like, Okay, you're a big person. Yeah, and Meredith too, because she tried to like get Meredith involved and say that you're the one who brought up the jazz tickets for blows for jazz tickets, and I'm like she was like starting chilling Whitney, and I'm like, wow, you guys are m v p s. Because if that was me, I would be like fingering. I don't think I could do that. But they were just like listen, you were trying to start it, make us all hate each other and just like make this whole trip hell, but like you're going through something, so we don't care. Like that was really really nice of them. Yeah, No, I don't. I think nocent. I would be like still mad. I would. I would say, like, your your issue is an issue, but I still would be like what the hell. I would say, it's a huge issue.

And focusing on their problems is like what was making her feel better or like distracting her from her own issues that she was facing mm hmmm, which also is hard for her to like compartmentalize her trauma like and be like, Okay, let me just focus on Jen when I'm just learning about this and going through all of it. So I do feel for her in that situation, because it's like, how can I just forget that that this happened to me when it just is this like huge, big revelation. How am I just supposed to be like, Okay, let me shelf that for a second and only focus on Jen. I think they should have given and I think they did, but I think she got too drunk and then like blew the whole up. Yeah, very dark, very very quickly. Yeah see, I would agree with all that if we didn't see her like every other season basically doing the same thing for no like without an actual reason behind it. Like every season she like blows up a trip or dinner because she's like let's all talk, let's let's let's get the truth out there like nobody wants to truth, like stop the mysteries and

She just needs to go to bed and like remove yourself from the situation. And you're going through ships, so you know, it's just gonna be like a dark rabbit hole. Speaking of going to bed, when she got out of bed and like ripped up the card was dying so childish like such like elementary school behavior, like this will get her. You know, she was blocked out. She was just like that will show her, like I know my friendship card is gone. Oh no, Like she just seems like a lot like being friends with her looks like exhausting. She reminds me of like a little child in an adult body.

First of all, I love Jen Shaw for bringing like her makeup artist slash twerking instructor to the group. Like. The one thing I'm sad about is that Jen's a criminal and we won't get this like bizarre behavior anymore because it's just like so hilarious and I don't think any of the girls will bring it, kind of like how Jen is bringing it with this insanity. Um, but I was dying at Meredith being like, no, I'm not going to be able to pay rent this month. And I'm that in her like tight leather spandex pants. Oh my god, that looked hard like I would be able to pay rent, that's for sure. She was such a trooper about it, though I loved it. There's no like drama like Jen shot drama. I'm gonna miss her. She's the only reason why I started watching this show. Like she brings it and she's so sad she's gone. And it's actually funny that, like I was comparing Arika and Jenn and I'm like, Janet like brings such good energy even though she's like going on all of this right now, Versus I feel like Erica is like

29:41 an energy sucker and she's like not the fun one in the group anymore. So it's interesting to see those comparisons between the two. It's also funny because one of them, the fun one, is actually guilty, yeah, and Erica is not even like technically guilty and she's still just like so like, yeah, the negative energy is palpable lately. You can tell she's going through it, which is terrible. I feel for her. Yeah, I mean I normally love Erica because she's so funny and like doesn't give a fuck, but I can't really not. The way Jen is dealing with problems, I love it. They like who was saying that the way she complementalizes is incredible.

30:21 Oh, it's amazing, and well, I think she's also fully delusional and she's like, yeah, I'm getting off because actually at Bravo Con she was saying I'm not guilty, like I'm not going to jail, and I'm like, girl, you played guilty. You are going to jail for at least at least five years, probably like probably seven to time, but at least five years. Does she know how the law works? I love the end of the episode when Meredith, because she has like a law degree and everything, she was just like, okay, everybody sit down, like Jen's gonna go to jail, Like there's like a ninety percent chance that Jenna is going to jail, and Whitney was like, wait, so wait. Stewart pled guilty though, wouldn't that help John? And I'm like, how, no, honey, the opposite. No, she's the kingpin that is not going to help her. He definitely did a plea deal, don't get botox.

31:18 I was it was sending me. I was like dying because like it makes sense, like you can't if you're not showing emotion or remorse, Like no one's gonna want to like feel bad for you. She needs to stop heading a beauty bar and laser. She needs to look natural and homey and just be like listen, I'm I'm not that person. I was not using these old people like stolen money on botox. I mean her face, she's gonna I guess you can't like take out botox, so I mean you don't just don't have to like top it up like it will eventually melt. I wish by the time for a trial, I guess by the time her trial starts, it'll be pretty much. But I doubt she's not getting away.

My god, like these do they I don't think they realized that they looked like they were in prison chum suits, which just makes it so much funnier. No, because they would have comments said on it.

I felt so bad for the stakes. Honestly, I was like, what are ways? Those stakes looked really good. I'm with Heather on this one, like I would be angry. You can just ruin whatever, but don't ruin my stakes. By I'm gonna go eat you guys. Deal with this. The way she was praising it too, I don't even remember how she said it, but the way she said it was like so funny. I just love the way how they speaks like things. She says, so ridiculous that they did the in Memorium of the Stakes hilarious. Salt Lake City editing is like top two tacks, really amazing. It's like like the editors trolled them. Yeah, Or like when they're like, um, good morning and the editors say like the time toto pm or whatever, I'm like, this is amazing. Keep doing what you're doing, editors. The editors troll like my mother, you mean good afternoon, my mom. Every single time I say good morning when I wake up, every morning I wake up to a text, Hey it's morning.

Another thing I was dying how they were like acting like jenn is such a hero for going to jail, Like they were acting like she's mother Teresa, And I'm like, you guys know that she did commit a crime, like she's going to war. Yeah, it's like, okay, she did this to herself. I don't know if you guys know that. Um. It's actually kind of weird that, like, the these first few episodes were just like this small core group, I guess the original group without any new people joining.
