Teach Me, Father

This is Episode 508 of the My Morning Devotional Podcast

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Psalm 143:10 which says "Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground."

"Sometimes I don’t ask for help. I don’t specifically God for help.

I say things like I know He has it under control.

Or I know that it’s going to all work out.

But I am quick to forget to ask for his active teaching. Almost as if everything I know about Him is all there is to know.

But the truth is God is an active teacher. There are things I don’t know and have yet to learn. The beautiful part is that He continues to reveal himself to us. He continues to teach us, to shape us.

My prayer today is that He would actively teach us something new today. "
