Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of 1 Peter 6:8 which says "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."

"How many of us know, driving tired is just as bad as driving under the influence. A tried driver can ruin their lives and the life of someone else in the blink of an eye.

This verse says be alert and of sober mind. Because if you are not, the enemy can devour you.

Being sober, doesn’t only mean alcohol and drugs. It means anything that can steal your mind and exhaustion can do that. Because in that state the enemy has full control over your motive, your will, and your thoughts.

So today, let’s vow to slowing down when we need to. Lets rest if we have to. Let’s focus on ensuring our minds are alert an sober and ready to take on all that God has for us. "
