Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Psalm 55:6 which says "I said, "If only I had wings like a dove-- I would fly away and find rest."

"A lot of the things we want in life, we might not have. Sometimes it’s health, or money, or a job. We tell ourselves we don’t have them because there is an if only hovering over our thoughts. If only I had more time to commit to the gym. If only I had more money to buy that ticket. If only I had more confidence. If only I had less on my plate.

My prayer today is simple. Let’s stop blaming “if only” and let’s start doing what we can with what we have.

If you need rest, find rest you don’t need wings. "
