A Story About Persistence, A Grandfather, and His Grandson

My father-in-law is in town. We have all enjoyed having him, well all of us except for my son. My son is a covid baby and after a year of isolation, he doesn't like strangers. He screamed when he met his grandfather. And while this concerned me at first, after a few days, a little persistence, and a lot of snacks, he eventually came around. Watching the two of them navigate and build their relationship, got me thinking. What areas in my life do I need to show a little more persistence? Our journey in life is not a straight line. It often takes time and dedication.
