> Curtis Jackson (also known as DJ Curveball)>Welcome to the Living the Dream podcast with Curveball. If you believe you can achieve. Welcome to, the Living the Dream with Curveball podcast, a show where I interview guests that teach, motivate and inspire. Today I am joined by RL Malpica. He is a certified detoxification specialist, an author, as well as a holistic health advocate, helping people reconnect with their natural state of wellness. Through Orel's YouTube channel, coaching and retreats, he challenges the mainstream health myths and he provides actionable strategies for detoxification, fruit based living and a healthy terrain. So we're going to be talking to RL about everything that he does and everything that he's up to and going to be up to.
00:01:10.549 --> 00:01:12.790
> Curtis Jackson (also known as DJ Curveball)>So RL thank you for joining me.
00:01:13.109 --> 00:01:15.269
> RL Malpica>For sure. I'm excited to be here. Thank you.
00:01:15.750 --> 00:01:18.790
> Curtis Jackson (also known as DJ Curveball)>Why don't you start off by telling everybody a little bit about yourself?
00:01:19.849 --> 00:01:25.799
> RL Malpica>Oh, well, you know, you gave me such a great introduction. You know, hard to follow that up.
00:01:25.799 --> 00:02:23.139
> RL Malpica>But you know, I've just been into natural health and natural diet, for, you know, roughly about four years. I, kind of went through the, the similar ups and downs when it comes to health issues that you go throughout life and found a path, through nature, through nature itself. And, and it kind of led me to this point of being able to share that light with others who might be dealing with, you know, certain ailments, whether that be diagnosis from the doctor or whether that be excessive weight gain or you know, just wanting to feel better. And by everything that I've learned, you know, it's kind of got me to this point where I feel, you know, almost like a light to share to others and allow them the opportunity to learn more about natural health and, and how we were originally created to you know, to ultimately become better versions of ourselves physically, mentally and emotionally.
00:02:24.580 --> 00:02:35.719
> Curtis Jackson (also known as DJ Curveball)>Well, speaking of that, talk about your book Detox Yourself and you know, kind of tell us what we can expect when we read it, where to get it, and how can this book help, a person create a healthier life?
00:02:36.439 --> 00:02:59.990
> RL Malpica>Oh, for sure. Like, so this book, I wanted to write it in a way that it wasn't necessarily a health book. you know, there's amazing health books out there. And what I wanted to do was go a little bit deeper and get to the root issue that I see, is going on from a, from a health standpoint in, in the world. And that is the mindset. Right?
00:02:59.990 --> 00:03:45.370
> RL Malpica>Like in order to truly detox yourself, you have to understand how You've been intoxicated in the first place. And that's what this book does. It shows you all the different ways that you've been intoxicated mentally and physically. And then it shows you the steps on how to reverse that and how to break that conditioning. Get your mind right, get your mind free and ultimately the steps it's going to take to get your physical body back to a, a balanced state. That's as far as availability goes, it's, it's available everywhere. It's available on my website, which is the, the Ecoach do. It's also on Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, any bookstore. you can, you know, you can search it's there as well.
00:03:46.250 --> 00:03:53.250
> Curtis Jackson (also known as DJ Curveball)>Well, one of the things I forgot to mention during your intro is you are the known as the eat coach.
00:03:53.250 --> 00:04:04.639
> Curtis Jackson (also known as DJ Curveball)>The EAT coach. So talk about your personal health story and how this led you to develop the EAT philosophy and explain what that philosophy is for sure.
00:04:04.639 --> 00:04:59.439
> RL Malpica>You know, I, you know, growing up I had some health issues. well I should say what society would consider health issues. Like things like irritable bowel syndrome, lactose intolerance, chronic headaches, eczema. Right. Those are just a few of the typical ailments that people deal with on a day to day basis. And we're kind of told that we have these things and there's, you know, ways that we can relieve it, but there's really nothing you can do about it. but as I got older and I started to really dive deep into the body and you know, the natural aspects of the body, I ultimately uncovered how I could heal that. And that is really what helped me build my own philosophy. And that was from studying some of the, the great natural paths out there like Dr.
00:04:59.439 --> 00:05:42.750
> RL Malpica>Morse and Dr. Douglas Graham, T.C. fry, Herbert Shelton and, and a, a number of others. But taking all of, you know, taking all that information in and developing my own philosophy based on my intuition and my experiences because I applied all these different things and figured out what truly works. And that's where the, the eat. The eat comes from, is from the. That, that's the genesis of that, that is the foundation of that. Me actually applying these things, healing my irritable bowel syndrome, healing my eczema, healing my chronic headaches, losing over 30 pounds and you know, just being in a much better state of mind and you know, being at balance.
00:05:44.829 --> 00:05:55.439
> Curtis Jackson (also known as DJ Curveball)>Well, talk about why you feel like energy efficiency, avoiding acid forming foods and reducing toxicity is crucial to achieving optimal health.
00:05:56.560 --> 00:06:23.819
> RL Malpica>Oh yeah. So, okay, so when we're talking about energy efficiency, and that's not necessarily a phrase or words that you usually see, you know, in line with diet, right? you hear other things, about diet, about macros and micros and all these different, different things, right? Well, to me, energy efficiency is the most important thing because ultimately we are a self healing organism.
00:06:23.899 --> 00:07:43.550
> RL Malpica>Our body heals itself. You know, you go, you get cut, what happens? Your body ultimately heals that cut as long as you don't interfere with the natural, the natural energy of the body. But your body needs energy to do that. And we are electrical beings, like we are, we are made of electricity. We need electricity. That is our vitality. So food provides us energy, but digestion takes away energy. Digestion is one of the biggest burdens on the body. So what that means is, what energy efficiency means is we want to eat the foods with the highest amount of electricity and the lowest amount of digestive burden. And those foods are fruits. Fruits have the highest, by far the highest amount of electricity that we can consume. And they, they cause the least amount of burden during the digestive process. They digest very quickly. So your body has a surplus of energy to utilize, to repair and to revitalize the body. When we eat foods like, you know, if we have a majority cooked food diet or if we're eating a lot of meats, a lot of processed foods, a lot of starches, those are foods that are giving us barely any electricity, if any electricity, and high digestive burden.
00:07:43.790 --> 00:07:53.069
> RL Malpica>Right, because it takes our body a lot of energy to actually digest these foods. You know, meat can stay in your system anywhere from 8 to 24 hours.
00:07:53.149 --> 00:09:40.059
> RL Malpica>Processed foods aren't even real food, so that can take even longer sometimes. So your body's constantly digesting, constantly working. That means utilizing a lot more energy than the body can actually use. What that means is you don't have that surplus. So your entire life you're just building upon that discrepancy of your body, body's profit and loss system. And ultimately that c culminates, into disease within the body over, over long periods of time, sometimes short periods of times, depending on a person's genetics and dispositions and whatnot. So that is energy efficiency. All right, to keep it in layman's terms, basic, like I, I call it the body's profit and loss. You want high electricity foods, low digestive burden. Now the avoiding acid forming food ties into that because there's only two sides of chemistry. There's acids and there's alkaline Right. And our body is alkaline dominant. Our ph is at 7.4, so we have to keep our body alkaline dominant. So when we eat acid forming foods, what it does is it has a domino effect within our body that ultimately causes issues down the line because acids are destructive and acids are corrosive. So when we eat acid forming foods, like they're extremely dehydrating, they overwork the body and they, stagnate the lymphatic system. And the lymphatic system is our sewer system. So that's how our body gets rid of all this cellular waste within our body. So, and I know I'm saying a lot here, so feel free to jump in. and then the last one, reduce toxicity. That is going to be, you know, your soaps, your cleaners, your chemical products that we use on a day to day basis. Right.
00:09:40.909 --> 00:10:00.799
> RL Malpica>while they may seem safe on the surface, over time they accumulate and they also, create an acid response from the body and are, foreign and poison to the body and ultimately, you know, manifest in things like disease as well. So you want to, you want to stay in line with those three things and I guarantee you're going to see better results in your health.
00:10:02.559 --> 00:10:10.190
> Curtis Jackson (also known as DJ Curveball)>Well, talk about how societal conditioning impacts the way that we think about health and how can one start breaking free from that conditioning?
00:10:10.750 --> 00:10:18.350
> RL Malpica>Yeah, so that's, that's the big one. I mean, you got, you think about how we've been taught as you know, since we were kids, what health is, right?
00:10:18.350 --> 00:11:34.899
> RL Malpica>We, we're taught from the jump, like we're born into a world that's a germ theory based world, that germs are constantly attacking us at all time and our body is constantly on defense. That's kind of the basic premise of, of, you know, our livelihood. So all of our thoughts, all of our ideas of health come from that foundation and that societal conditioning. You see it every day, every time you turn on the TV and you see an ad. What is it for? It's for medicine or it's for unhealthy food or it's for insurance. And all those things are in alignment with each other, right? They're all in alignment with each other. They all work together. These systems have been put in place, unfortunately, to you know, keep us as customers when it comes to the medical system. So when I talk about societal conditioning, that's what I'm talking about. The there are systems that have been put in place to keep us in line in certain aspects and keep us you know, unfortunately, detached from who we truly need to be, they keep us away from nature, they keep us away from the better foods for us. because ultimately a healthier, better you is not necessarily beneficial for them at the end of the day.
00:11:36.820 --> 00:11:46.940
> Curtis Jackson (also known as DJ Curveball)>Well, give us three actionable steps that people can take to start detoxifying their bodies and their lives for sure.
00:11:46.940 --> 00:12:34.769
> RL Malpica>Well, I mean, I want to start off with detoxing up front, like itself. Detoxing is something you do every day. Like I know we've been conditioned to think that a, detox is some tea that we take or some juice that we drink, or like a five day this, a seven day that. No, you detox every day. Every time you sneeze, every time you have a bowel movement, every time you urinate, every time you sweat, every time you cough, you're detoxing, right? So what happens is like it goes back to the energy efficiency, right? The more energy your body has, the more detoxing you're going to do because that's, you know, you're utilizing your body's utilize, utilizing that vitality to repair and clean itself. Because that's what detoxing truly is. So actionable steps. The first thing I would say is do a self audit on yourself, right?
00:12:35.409 --> 00:12:47.970
> RL Malpica>The choices that you make, the foods that you eat, the people that you're around, everything that you do, are they for the betterment of you or are they for the detriment of you? No gray area, right?
00:12:47.970 --> 00:13:41.009
> RL Malpica>Are, the foods you're eating on a day to day basis, do they help you be a better person? Are they helping you be a better person from a physical standpoint, a mental standpoint, an emotional standpoint. And when you do that self audit, you can write it down, you could journal it, look at all that, look at all those things that you are in control of because society has taken that power from us. They make us think that we're not in control of anything, that if we're sick we have to go to the doctor so they can figure it out. No, you have the power to heal yourself. So that's the first thing I would say is to self audit yourself. See all these different issues, these different red flags that come up in that assessment and then start looking at the choices that you're making. Because at the end of the day, it's your choice, it's your life, it's your body and you have the power to change it.
00:13:43.409 --> 00:13:49.259
> Curtis Jackson (also known as DJ Curveball)>Talk to the listeners about your ebook, the Nash that natural, reset. tell us what we can expect when we read it.
00:13:49.659 --> 00:14:10.740
> RL Malpica>Yeah. Okay, so the Natural Reset is a great ebook because it is perfect for somebody who's looking to make some changes. But you know, look, it's hard to make dietary changes like you know, immediately right? To, to wake up tomorrow and say, you know what, I'm done with meat, I'm done with all cooked food. I'm gonna be a raw vegan.
00:14:10.740 --> 00:14:11.059
> Curtis Jackson (also known as DJ Curveball)>Right.
00:14:11.059 --> 00:14:13.620
> RL Malpica>That's tough for, for, for a lot of people to do.
00:14:13.620 --> 00:15:20.250
> RL Malpica>But this ebook gives you an eight week transition transitional diet plan that will help you week to week take incremental steps to get yourself on the path to a healthier diet. Okay. By the end of the eight weeks you're going to be eating majority raw food. Raw food meaning raw fruits, raw leafy greens, you know, sprinkled in with some nuts and seeds and whatnot. and all plant based. Right? So you have an eight week transitional period in the E book. It also has, you know, just a plethora of information about how many calories you're supposed to have. Fruit combining, what, what type of detox, m effects am I going to experience when I start changing my diet? All these different things that you may experience throughout this process are in this ebook. So it's you can get that on my website as well. right now the ebook is 999. I'm in the process of creating a physical one. So you could buy a physical one and once that's available, that'll be on the website as well. But right now the ebook is available for you. It's about 61 pages long. so yeah, definitely check that out.
00:15:20.250 --> 00:15:24.049
> RL Malpica>If you are interested in making some incremental changes to your diet,
00:15:25.820 --> 00:15:29.789
> Curtis Jackson (also known as DJ Curveball)>tell us about any upcoming projects that you're working on that listeners need to be aware. Of.
00:15:30.669 --> 00:16:04.519
> RL Malpica>Well, this is really cool actually. I, created what I think is going to be a game changer for natural health. and it's called the eat cheat code. All right, so I basically developed an AI code, that is basically a 24,7 detox coach at your fingertips at all times. So you purchase the code, you have lifetime access. And what's cool is it gives you personalized plans. You know, basically what you do is you log on to the, to, to the to the AI platform and you put in your information.
00:16:04.679 --> 00:17:19.259
> RL Malpica>Maybe you want to lose weight, maybe you been dealing with an autoimmune disease your whole life. Maybe you have a thyroid issue. Whatever the case may be, you type all that in it's going to ask you and prompt you and get some information from you, like what your diet look like, what is your lifestyle habits, and then it's going to ask you, if you want to incorporate your astrological blueprint. Now some people are into that and some people are not, and that's totally fine. But if you do, you can do that. And what it does is it builds plans for you specific to who you are and the way you operate based on, you know, what you're looking to accomplish and what you've been doing. Right. And what's cool about it is, it's a continuous tool. So even where it gives you the plan, you know, it's there for you as a resource at any time. Because I, I do coaching and I coach people and I know one of the biggest things is some people don't have the time or some people don't have the money, right? You do a coaching session, you know, you're talking, you know, 150 a session, right? That, that can get pricey. Well, this allows you to have that information, to have that coaching on your phone, on your tablet, on on your Mac or your PC at any time. So it's called the EAT sheet code. I'm launching it this month.
00:17:19.289 --> 00:18:15.670
> RL Malpica>it's actually, it's actually available on my website right now with, with the launch special of only $111 regularly. 333. So you know, for the next couple months you have an opportunity to take advantage of that. But, I get everyone who's utilized this, I've had case studies has said that this is one of the most amazing things that they've ever had. Because all the information you get online through like regular ChatGPT or AI mode on Google or just Google itself is going to give you the mainstream answers. This is giving you, this is giving you health and diet and detoxing coaching from a natural perspective. All natural, for the betterment of you from your personal humanistic blueprint. That website again website is www.theeatcoach.com. that's eat E a T, right W.

00:18:22.710 --> 00:18:24.509
> Curtis Jackson (also known as DJ Curveball)>We'll close this out with some final thoughts.
00:18:24.509 --> 00:18:29.589
> Curtis Jackson (also known as DJ Curveball)>Maybe if that was something I forgot to talk about that you would like to touch on any final thoughts you have for the listeners.
00:18:30.230 --> 00:19:14.720
