The Holocaust during which some some 6 million Jews, gypsies, Jehovah Witnesses, homosexuals, and other people were systematically exterminated by Nazi Germany during World War 2, was one of the most horrific war crimes committed. Antisemitism, sometimes called history's oldest hatred, is hostility or prejudice against Jewish people. The Nazi Holocaust is history's most extreme example of anti- Semitic.
