S1 E9 We're Ready for Another Hike at Starved Rock State Park

Episode #9 began with a three-mile hike back to a falls on a beautiful December day in Starved Rock State Park. Kathy Casstevens was our docent host for the day. A comfort food lunch provided the perfect backdrop for a great conversation about the park’s history and plans for the future. From an impromptu birthday song in the bar and snowshoes to twins and a dog named Woody. From boys who seemingly worked for a dollar a day to music via a canyon harp and funeral bagpipes.
