Hello everyone, I’m Sally.
I’ve been teaching Japanese for 30 years, and recently I began creating online lessons to support learners around the world. Today、I’d like to gently explain what Udemy is, why my courses are short and easy to finish, and how adult learners can enjoy Japanese Language Learning comfortably.

What Is Udemy and Why I Teach There

Udemy is a large online learning platform with many courses, from IT and business to languages and music.
Japanese courses are still not as many as English or IT courses, so I decided to share my 30 years of teaching experience in a structured format that supports Learn Japanese and Easy Japanese learners.

YouTube has short lessons, but Udemy allows me to organize them into a complete path that adult and senior learners can follow without stress.

Why My Courses Are Short and Focused

Long courses are hard to stick with.
I have taken many online courses myself, and long 10〜20 hour courses were difficult to finish. I often felt tired and discouraged halfway.

4 to 5 hours is ideal
A five-hour course is the perfect size for busy adults and senior learners.
You can complete it over two or three days and feel a sense of achievement.

That is why my Katakana and Kanji courses are designed to be short, focused, and approachable.

Understanding Udemy Pricing and Sales

Instructors can set any regular price, but most learners buy during sales.
