1/2 pound broccoli
1/2 c freshly grated Parmesano Reggiano
1 c basil
1/2 c extra virgin olive oil
Zest of 1 lemon
1/2 lemon juiced
Salt and pepper to taste
1/3 toasted nuts
2 cloves garlic

1 # pasta I used tricolor Italian vegetable pasta

To a salted pot of water cook broccoli until softened and bright green

Remove and add to a blender with all ingredients except pasta .

Blend while pasta is cooking .

Once pasta is done toss with sauce and add pasta water as needed . Toss well and top with more cheese enjoy
