She demonstrates how to make a delicious high-protein pizza using her magic dough recipe made with Greek yogurt, complemented by a quick homemade tomato sauce.High Protein Pizza Dough RecipeIngredients:1 cup Greek yogurt (preferably full-fat Faiye)1 teaspoon baking powder1.5 cups all-purpose flour (or bread flour for a thicker dough)1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)1 tablespoon water (as needed)Instructions:Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix 1 cup Greek yogurt with 1 teaspoon baking powder.Add Flour: Gradually add 1-1.5 cups of flour, mixing with your hand until a dough forms.Adjust Consistency: If the dough is too dry, add a tablespoon of water at a time until it comes together.Optional Step: Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil for extra flavor and knead into the dough.Rest the Dough: Let the dough rest for 5 minutes to relax the gluten.Prepare for Baking: Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.Bake the Crust: Pre-bake the crust in a 450°F (200°C) oven until it is golden brown.Quick Homemade Pizza Sauce RecipeIngredients:1/2 can (15oz) San Marzano tomatoes6 ounces tomato paste1 tablespoon Italian seasoning (homemade blend recommended)1 tablespoon olive oil1 clove garlic (optional, for flavor only)Salt and pepper to tasteOptional: 1 teaspoon sweetener (sugar, honey, or maple syrup)Optional: 1 teaspoon olive or anchovy paste for added flavorInstructions:Combine Tomatoes and Paste: In a bowl, mix 1/2 can of San Marzano tomatoes with 6 ounces of tomato paste.Season: Add 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and a whole clove of garlic (if using).Adjust Flavor: Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, add a teaspoon of sweetener for a sweeter sauce.Enhance Flavor: Optional - add 1 teaspoon of olive or anchovy paste.Mix Well: Combine all ingredients thoroughly and taste to adjust seasoning as needed.Assembling the PizzaIngredients:Pre-baked pizza crustQuick homemade pizza sauceMozzarella pearls or shredded mozzarellaParmigiano Reggiano, gratedFresh basil leavesFresh rosemary, choppedCherry tomatoes, halved (optional)Pesto sauce (optional)Instructions:Prepare Crust: Once the crust is pre-baked, remove it from the oven.Add Sauce: Spread a layer of the homemade pizza sauce over the crust, removing the garlic clove if used.Top with Cheese: Sprinkle grated Parmigiano Reggiano and add mozzarella pearls evenly over the sauce.Add Fresh Herbs: Tear fresh basil leaves and sprinkle chopped rosemary over the top.Optional Toppings: Add halved cherry tomatoes and dab small amounts of pesto sauce over the pizza.Final Bake: Return the assembled pizza to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly.Serve: Slice and enjoy your high-protein homemade pizza! Serve hot.
