Speaker 1: Welcome to Jay dot m a production of I Heart Radio. Hello, everybody, welcome back to Jay dot IL the podcast. Yeah, we're already in this thing and we're back, and already we're talking about the amount of vaginas and amount of penis is that we're seeing on the DV And I, for one, am happy to see more penis. That's just me, you know, that's just me. You're happy for penis. I'm happy for that's a hashtag. Seymour penis pene seymore. Shout out euphoria because I mean, thank you there, Okay, young woman executive, Yes, several girls, all of the flowers. And when I say yes, can I just personally can just appreciate the fact of the just the range of this baby and just she's and she's just beginning like she's a baby to me. But really what she's doing, Stormy is the baby, like the young girl that she chose to pick her sister. That's like to come up, Like I feel like that's like the baby and now is in dead's like the woman running this show. It's so ill. I don't know, right, So she's a she's definitely like a grown ass woman. So let's let's let's not you know, you know, but when I say the baby, I just mean like, I feel like she's got so many more years in the business that we're just seeing the beginning of the type of boss ship she's about to do. And I'm just loving it from the from the talent. Yeah, listen to the fact that you ain't seen us barely a belly you know, maybe you have seen a belly butt all the people on that cast hunt it. You ain't saying nothing of the day because she's she's she was brilliant enough to take on a role where she doesn't have to put on a whole bunch of makeup, She didn't have to wear the sexy outfits she she came to Okay, not a c T. I said, home, Ack, that looks harder, Jill. I mean, I don't know if I feel like, yeah, I'm like, what she's doing looks so like you go home every day and you gotta screen because it's traumatic and dinner with all of the storylines that go along with this this show. Jack showed it to me and I was like, oh, snap, wait a minute, that is watching Ehoria. All the babies are watching Euphoria. Girl listen. If your child, no, I'm telling you, if your child tells you they're not watching you for they line out they got damn teeth because all of the children are watching it. What I will say is this, I watched the first I've watched the first season, and I'm ashamed to say I'm the only person on the planet that hasn't gotten all the way into the second season yet, not because I don't want to, but because life is just life, and but I love I just I just love the work. And look anyway, period, just all of the good, yummy black ass stuff that beyond on the TV even is not black, it's but black people in it. But Zendaya. I mean, and I'm going to claim it, we chip in it, but well we'll take it. What I'm saying is that I'm just really appreciating the amount of guts and and when Jet showed me the show, because we sat down and watch it together and he's like, have you seen you for your My mom was like I think I saw. He was like, you need to watch this. When I talk about the issues of being that age and all of the issues in your face, I was like, oh my god, you really you know don't have as many questions as I thought, you know, because he's coming to him like, you know, got any questions about this? The way the body I want to talk about it, you know what I mean, let's let's talk about it. And he means well informed. And I think that anybody who watches this show is going to end up well inform. The conversations that we had about drugs. Okay, baby, it's about drugs, baby. And I wasn't mad. I wasn't a mother of a teenager. No shade to y'all, but I'm like, y'all brave warriors in this battle. I was like, yo, this is I said, if this is what the teenagers are doing now, what they're gonna be doing in ten years. I mean, first of all, they said the same things, because I'm gonna tell you we were WoT we was. We was we was, and and we were the tame wout okay, because you know there was another level, the next level wout to the teenagers of our of our era. So just listen to the music, amen. I mean, music is telling a lot. The music, definitely. But my children have called me out there like ma'am um. These songs that you used to listen to when you were thirteen. No, I want you to never say another word to me about anything because this this is with credit cards. Okay, I got what you saying. Misogynist, this is violent. They're like this, this is bad. That's why I'm so pumped out about the evolutionist see and all these private parts on TV. I'm like, well, this is natural evolution, and I ain't mad at it. We ain't pretty in this ship no more. It's like real life. I love it, yes, because the coucie needs its respect. The bottom line is that I'm tired. We need to get beyond the coucie image that was on the porn that said no COUCHI yeah, I'm just not seeing the flower. You know, we're seeing the outskirts. You know they see you know, we're talking. We're seeing the reality of having a vagina. We're talking about vaginas in you know, in the sexual and in the and in the not sexual and the just real life. Because it's like an elbow right see I'm hanging up. I thought it was like when you close your fists and you look at that part right there. Oh no, it's like take looks like the top lip and into your bottom. Lite. See this conversation right here is ebold. You know what I'm saying, because you know, ten twenty years ago, three women would not be sitting here feeling comfortable talking about vaginas in this way. And I'm just saying, now we have commercials where women are skating out of like real life reginas. Now we are rid up fluid. We are seeing blood on the back of girls booties on commercials. I'm I am and and on and on shows. I'm so grateful in the city lies, it's been lies. Do you like remember it Lose the Ball. You couldn't even be pregnant on the show, Like that was like a pregnant woman on the show. I used to have people. I remember they used to high people. Remember, like Folia were shot. They used to just put stuff in front of her and stuff like that, and it was like, come on, oh they still do that. They still do that. But that's because it hasn't been written in the storyline. If it's not written in the store line, you know, somebody toiled over those words and those scenes and all of that stuff. Yeah, night that, yeah, but you know what, even the products you mentioned the whole thing about periods and stuff. When you talk about the products that that they have. Now, it's just like everything we're learning so much. Y'all remember this thing. It was like a I don't want to say it was an infomercial, but it was like a thing circulating on the internet where men were selling like natural pads. Do you remember? This is like a multi level marketing. It was like a multi level marketing thing where they were like selling and they were like the pitch was that they had to know all of this information about how the cycle worked and why women shouldn't have certain chemicals in their pads and all this other stuff. And it was really deep because at first I was just like, no, I don't want to dude talk to me about my period. But then I was a little bit impressed because I was like, oh, well, he had to learn this information and this is stuff that men just don't even know. So, I mean, we've gotten to the point where not only are we having better conversation around our vaginal health and stuff like periods and everything else, but now the men are starting to understand it's a lot better and and and get less squeamish about it because they know it's directly tied to our health. So that's a really cool thing too. It's just like, you know, it is some conversations with my boyfriend about pH I would have not done it probably like ten years ago, because well, yeah, because the man ain't gonna tell you. Because because men they're they're not so squeamish like I guess the older you get, I don't know, or maybe because I've been married a long time. But you know, some men will be like, oh yeah, I like the natural smell of that thing, girl, But then other men are like super like wanted to smell like full on like I don't know, like flower and apple. But also it does that ship work? Do you eat pineapples make your vagina smell good? What it? Originally? I know that I'm well when I don't smell like anything at all. It doesn't have a smell nothing. Initially was for the men to take and then the men to go down for us. It was for us to eat. It was for them to taste. Wo That's what I thought. Yeah, stuff to than anyone attest to whether this works? Does this work? Amber? You can speak? Just eat pineapple? I don't think so. Yeah, I mean I don't know if it's proven, but it's it's a long held Uh yeah, I believe in in the community urban urban legend, women women friends. We haven't introduced Amber to anybody, yes, yes, no, no, you do it introduced introduced Amber. Who are you? What do you do here? Hey, y'all? I am Amber. I am the producer of Jay dot L. So I'm just starting around the background. You know, we want to shout out Eves. She has going on to um create something amazing for herself. She's like seriously into nature and that is her her path and goal. And we just want to send out a shout out to Eves and welcome Amber. Ye. On occasion when we have have old lady confusion, we might we might refer to Amber to pull us out of it, and it's you know, it's all up, but not for nothing. Amber and y'all sell our other producer, right. But it's great to have women on the show of Intergenerational because even to talk about the couch, I've learned, I've learned. Listen, I've spent more time in target in that section learning about honey pot because of my younger sisters telling me about you might want to try this or honest, I just introduced myself to the third wash cloth. We're gonna have we have an honest Tutchi conversation. So let's just tell me the conversation the third Yeah, because you're having the face and the body. But did you think that you probably need to watch that cooch cooch with something different like that's you know that the body one? The body one was kind of for that too, But I guess, okay, let's work because the body with the body you you you washing that booty too? Why why always? No? I always rent and reapply the soap. You rent out somebody one and then you rent it off real good and like a hand wash, and then you go back. But but I'm all four and then you go you don't go through there's you don't booty tooty just like no not you know you never bring the ship to the clip, isn't that would uh right down? That from I got that from Martin. Martin said that in You're So Crazy when he was talking about how you properly wipe about and drop y'all don't remember that never bring the ship to the clip. Yeah, that is such rules, fellas listen up, because if she do that ship. Don't go down there. Don't go down there. Don't go down there. We'll be back. But again, we're just we're talking about the evolution of talking about in public. I love this, y'all. We free my mind be blown washing TV. And to be honest, even on that, my like my man pulled my coat on seeing these commercials without the blue ship no more and I was like, yo, women are making ship for us now like women. Well even with the products like honey pot and stuff, those are products made by women for women. Honey Potter is a good product. They have this one product that has it has like a little tingle in the thing. It's like like something honey and let me tell you something if somebody don't want you first, First of all, all the honey pot products unless you get it specifically, not with the tingle. They come with the tingle. And that means the pad too, because I got the pad with the thing, and that's that's a nice. Yeah. I don't know about this. What is what is this pad? And what does this what does this tingle? Just quick up? Okay, so your pad is for your cycle? Okay, come on, and you know I'm a five yd girl, So I don't mesess where everybody's past. You know, of course I gotta go overnight every time. I mean, so for this to be a product that I use, it's pretty cool brand. I might not use it on the heaviest day, but yeah, so, and it's all natural, so like for the overnights. I'm just gonna tell y'all real quick, it's a it's herbal infused, okay, pads with wings. These pads have mint laugh enter listen, Yeah, an aloe and no uh and plant based, all plant based or feminine care. Yes, no fragrances, no pesticides, none of that kind of stuff. Just really great. And then they got a moose that you use for your washing that you won't even to wash cloth a moose form. What's the difference? Will come on? Moves, Come on, couchie moves. Um excuse me, ma'am. I would like to know where this is not a honeypot commercial. But I'm just saying, y'all, I love that the tampon and the pad aisles are looking differently these days, and they're looking brown, like Asia said, full of brown women making ship too. So it's kind of dope. And you know, I mean, we have you know, we have a higher instances of stuff like five boys, and we deal with a whole lot of different health issues directly associated with our vadge and you know, and black women are always just kind of really fighting that that upward battle with our health. And so it's always good to know that black women are making products specifically with us in mine. And you know right now, like I said that, one of the more popular ones is honeypot, but certainly there's other products as well, because you have a whole lot of Black women who are doing um things called um I think they call them, like Yoni washes, all kinds of differend the Yoni steam steaming for the money. Now, there's a little bit of controversy on the on the coach steam thing. The controversy, first of all, what the Yoni steam is a series of of herbs. I'll say, oh, I loved it. I've done it many times. I absolutely loved it, loved it about the whole I felt new. You know how it is after the first time you have a calonic, if you okay, It's like the first time I had a colonic, I walked out and I felt like everything the birds were whistling a little bit louder, my eyes were whiter. That there was a song in my heart that I just I couldn't I couldn't sing it, but I showed up felt it everywhere. I said, this is right, this is right. I feel free. I felt the same way with the Yoni theme. I really did, like, yeah, wow, I got rid of some stress, you know, some some pasts, you know, situations that I shouldn't have been in the first place, and get extracting, extracting energies. Y'all, let that energy go. I was like, okay, and all I had to do is sit on the bucket. It was a hot bucket, a hot bucket. Can I ask some silly questions, but I just need to know, okay? So number one, what does your couci physically change as you're doing this on the pot? Like I feel like it would like plump it plump up or something a little bit. It felt um, it felt warm, obviously, and it felt I'm gonna go with it. It did a little plumping business. I'm gonna go with that. And you had to really gap, you know, like really open up so all the steam will go in yonder because around it's not the same. That's nice. You know, you wanted to steam go in in now okay, a full extension of a squad okay. And then so by the time you do all that, there's no chance that your smells, like the smells that are going into you are so pungent that you don't even do you not smell your original smell. I just because with a bunch of a couple of girlfriends, I don't recall any pungency. I don't remember anything. It's it's like a weak tea if anything. But I don't recall any particular sense that I was like, oh, I don't want my girl to smell like that. It's just smell clean. That's That's about. How long does that feeling last? Like for the days, Like it lasts until you're ready to get it again, you know, because it's like the stual thing as well. I I think so I felt like I'd love to have a you only steam again. And then they do have stores. Well, they're saying that it comes from it's becoming a lot more commercialized because now you can buy at home, you only steam on the Amazon and you put it. Yeah, but I want no, no, no, it's not in the actual toilet. It's in a bowl. So you put the bowl fits around the come over, you put it in, and then you put the seat on top of the bowl. So basically, it's just like if you were having an enema, if you've ever you know, if you know anything about that, like after you have a baby or something, they tend to give you these these little bowls so you can clean and wash clean a sid spad, that's what I'm thinking about, not an enema. That's more like a uh that's clean out your butt. That's clean out your butt. Yeah, that's not what we're talking about. Yeah, so it's a sid's fat that's what I'm thinking of. But it's more like that. So it's just hot water and then you sit down and you put a blanket or towel or something over your lap and let the steam just go up in yonder and you you breathe really well, and you just sit and wait. So what's a controversy agent controversy? Well, I don't know if it's controversy, but you know, now, let me also start by the fact that Western medicine is always gonna question, ain't your medicine is always gonna come out talking about trying to tell Black people and Indigenous people they don't know what they're doing. But there is some thinking around they only steaming that it doesn't really have any actual, like measurable health benefits. And so it's kind of like yet, it's nice, it's pleasant, but there's no real evidence that it helps any of your kind of vaginal or internal like uterine health or anything like that. But I mean, who's doing the measuring, who measured it? Is anybody actually doing that work? And are you gonna take hundreds of years of I don't know, indigenous wisdom over you know, a fraction of that amount of Western medicine that hates Black women anyway, So there you have come. Listen for a fever. I'm still putting onions in my son's secks. Baby, listen and it works like a charm, and it works gets cooked or the potato and it draws the heat from the body. And you can tell me whatever you want to say, you know, but I know that to be true, So you know, I want to do it, but you'll eat for me. Was was very pleasurable. I felt I felt better. You know, if you if you've been in this situation with somebody that, um, you want to get gone out your spirit, you know, you want to get gone out your out of your mind as well, but particularly your body. You know, going and sit on something and I'm talking about you. She say, she said what she said hurt hurt it girl specifically talking about that moved it to my product. Child, you can't be saying things like that to me. Just off the cuff. You gotta you're girl, non listen. My husband, okay, so we had this conversation recently and he is like, what is going on with you, ma'am? And I was like, dude, I had to look it up because I was very concerned. I was like, where did this come from? And I did get worn. Don't get me wrong. Some people was like a girl, when you're turn for, what are you going to turn? Yeah? Who child, it's a lot, it's a lot. He was like, listen. He had to put the hand up on me. He like, ma'am, ma'am, I'm forty nine. Because this is what happens when you go younger. Sometimes yeah, well I'm not that much younger, but I'm younger than It makes a little, It just makes sometimes it makes a little difference. He was like, he's like, lady, lady, sit your ass not right on this. Sit down right here, ma'am, right here, ma'am, come here, sit down right here, right here? Can I sit down? I'm telling you, guys, it's always on. The light is always on. He's like, you cannot believe this, this is unbelievable. He's so excited. He was just like like he will just test it. He will test it to see. He'll be like, he'll give me the look and I'll be like he's like, oh ship really, I'm like, yes, what what happened? What are we doing? And you know this is so great because because you're emptying at your house slowly, you know, the children are graduating, moving on with their life. And my, my mind, I couldn't been for you. It's so intrusive. But I gotta know a your I gotta question, go, go go, that is your hot and the parents? Do you watch porn? Um? It doesn't? I'm sorry, tell me if it's okay. I'm sorry if I didn't know what corn is not morning for me? Unfortunately, you know what it is. What it really is is that you can't unsee the racism and the misogyny. And when I was young, it's like if you have to when you search for it's like what comes up. It's just like ghetto ho black. You gotta know what you're looking for, you ye, So anyway, I'm just super So it's it's the but not even just in that. I'm just talking about the search bar itself is scary, and then all of it it's not doing. When I was younger, it was like a nice, good little thing to get whatever I needed to get out. But now I don't even really need it like that, to be honest, it's um, the mind is a beautiful thing and I'm a I'm an an artiste and so there for the imagination. It's a lovely place. It's somewhere in between. It's now I was gonna ask you jail, but I felt like I knew they Yeah, you already know. But I mean, there's no judgment for anyone else. I mean, you asked, I told you. You You know what I'm saying. Have we judged each other? Tell me that they judged each other? Right, never judge about these folks out here. But we're not out here to judge each other or to judge you. For that matter. We're just you know, three ladies having a conversation to spark conversation, which is the whole goal. You know, we want you to talk about, um, what works for your vagina, what's going on with yo pussy, what's happening with your sweet girl? You know, sweet girl? Thank you, thank you for this. Now my sweet girl doesn't do that? Okay, time just to the text. Man, you know, you know the personalities of she you know, um being being alive down yonders. I know a lot of women, um unfortunately have never had orgasms, which is so crazy. I'm like, oh, not even by yourself. Oh, which which goes back to the porn you know industry as well, like a lot of it is it really isn't healthy. It's just it was mentioned on Cooria I feel like a couple of episodes ago because the boy was trying to have sex with somebody and she but they were like, okay, you're going real fast. You watch a lot of porn huh yeah, yeah, it really does feed a lot of really bad, unhealthy sex practices that actually don't give you pleasure. So it's just like I don't know, I mean, because I just searched soft porn and my ship is I got real specific movie scenes. I don't know, I don't. I did by this book, Oh god, I do Girl on girls sometimes, so girl on girl makes it a little bit less Sorry is that too much? A little less Massagya you said a little less missagy sometimes? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, go ahead, I'm sorry, yo. Now that's that's really something like who's shooting the porn? Right? Do you love vagina? Do you love it? Or you're just using it? Like I won't see. I want to see stuff, appreciate it. I was thinking a woman should start I'm wondering when a woman is going to start her own porn site. From that perspective, you know what I mean, that would kind of be dope. I think about it all the time. I think about the search bar agents you're talking about is just men searching for bullshit. But so you're right, but I think that when we are also seen. You know, for me, if I could watch just a wee bit of a story, not much softn that soft pat something in my mind. Yes, yes, it's a couple of movies I go to. You know, there's a disappearing act scene and refrigerator with Tonalathan and Wesley Snipe said, I'm like, if I close my eyes, it's not Wesley someone else and it's not actually enjoying this. And yes, it's sorry sharing too much. You're not sharing too much. Oh my god. When McKai fifer through um Nia long. Yeah. So the TV show Nicole, Ari Parker and Boris had if I sometimes I want YouTube and do just their scenes because they had some sexy situations. So I'm yeah, they're actually I enjoyed before they Jason's lyrics. No, Jason's lyrics had who he was doing it? He was doing it. If I'm trying to tell y'all, you gotta YouTube so full the TV show is Nicole and Boris because they're really doing it because they wasn't marry we want it. Don't kill me. Boris and Nicole, I don't know that they were doing it or they were, but I think I know they have like a super hot relationship and it's like it's still burning and it's great and they just like they'be they'd be grossing their kids out and stuff. They trow their kids big time on the internet and it's awesome. I freaking love it. Jason's lyric had the two really epic sex scenes for me, talk about it. You know, I've never seen movie. So it was the one's the one obviously in the TV shop on the one and in the alleyway the one with the one in the alley with the girl with the Lisa the Cole Carson. Don't you babe me, Lisa Nonicole Carson. Girl, ma'am, wherever you are, come on, wherever you are, Lisa. I thank you for that scene. I thank you for that scene because that scene validated all of the I mean, it was just so equal parts like ho ship but like love ship but like yeah, that's my man, and we just can't. We're gonna do whatever we're gonna do, and do whatever we do till we're done. Girl, don't understand that. Baby. I need to see Jason's lyric, Jill, because I'm gonna tell you as Harry as Alan Paine is, I ignored all of it when they him and Jada Pinket has sex and that field okay and full of flyers okay, okay. I just appreciate the fact that he didn't shave it for him. For him, it was everywhere everybody man something not everybody man. But you know, if your man is Harry bless him. Yeah, we'll be back after the break. Somebody would ask me for a list of the best like black sex scene or just sex. I got, y'all risky business. I do white too, risky business on the on the train, we could go old school, like I'm trying to think of from white movies. I don't know. I'm sorry white people, y'all don't turn me on. But we wasn't always in the movie, so we had to go where we had. I don't dislike y'all just saying y'all don't turn me on. I'm sorry, State, I'm sorry, but I mean Michael Douglas ain't my goal too. But when him and Sharon Stone hit that bin and wait a minute, no, no, no, no, no, no, I take that back. I take that back. Who you got? Who you got? Jason Momoa and and Denarious in the Game of Thrones when she figured out how to know before but she figured it out, figured it out, and she was like she made him look at her. Yeah, here, here, here, here, Inelu, I'm gonna pull that up. Later, there was a couple of moments with brother and sister. I was like, Okay, well they're brother and sister, but their actor we we got, like we for for cultures, so many that particularly like the Asian cultures. You know, you've got the Indian culture, You've got the Karma Sutra, and um, there's lessons in love making, there's lessons in the art of love making and sexuality, but we're left to porn as an educator primarily a lot of like what we were saying earlier about a lot of women not having orgasms, they don't know how to please themselves. And if they don't know how to please themselves, how how are they going to know how to please anyone else of that matter, you know what I'm saying. So it's and the release that you're missing out on, Like, I wonder what that does to you, that that mentally several virgins that are in their upper fifties, Yeah, I said, several they feel free to you what they like? What's they feel bottled to me? You know, they feel bottled to me. They one of them is absolutely insane, that's my opinion. She's nuts. She needed some dicks so bad or something. She needs something, something gotta happen. She need to pop off okay, and that's that's my at least for yourself, it's okay. You need to at least know how to pop off something something. Um, there's like a sometimes in religion, you know. Um, they can make you make make you feel like you're wrong for knowing how to please yourself, which is really unfortunate. And the other one, the one that's nuts to me. To me, I mean, maybe that's not fair to say, but to me, she don't that's not good sense. I don't know what's going on inside that brain. The other virgin plus a fifty plus virgin that I know, she's brilliant, brilliants, had a lot of time to read my goodness, does she know everything about everything? Brilliant? The look? First of all, No, let's let's real is back. Let's just realist back, hold up, because we're going to shame listen. I would rather I would like to hear what these women feel about their lives, because honestly, for real, for real, if that's a choice that you want to mak and you feel happy with it, see that's one thing. But if it's if it's if it's a choice or something that's happened that happenstance or maybe you've not been able to find that partner or whatever the case may be, or maybe there's something you feel insecure about. See, that's different. So I don't know, I mean, because that's in that spectrum of that's exactly, that's that's the thing. And we don't want to hyper sexualized black women and act like all Black women have a specific type of sex drive or desire sex in the same way, because we don't. No, absolutely not. I am. Before I get into it, I just want to remind you our health and wellness journeys are all very specific to each person, so before trying anything, you always check in with your care team to see if it's right for you today, like you have talked about the Honey Pot Company and its products now. This company is founded by b Wilson, a black woman who suffered from chronic bacterial vaginosis when an ancestor came to her in a dream and gifted her with a vision to heal herself. With that vision, she created the Honeypot, the first ever feminine care line powered by herbs. Get into it. You can find the Honey Pot products and target. I'll also link their site in the show notes. Jill also expressed her love for Yoni steams. They're an incredible tool for many women, but they may not be the right choice for everyone's body.
