Through her research, Dr. Benson has learned extensively about entrepreneurship, particularly focusing on the success of Black women in fashion. She also shares her personal experience of running a small sewing studio, 'That's Sew Samii,' where she taught sewing to all age groups between her master's and PhD programs.
