Lisa Vratny-Smith, MSW, shares her journey of starting yoga in 1994 as a means to cope with the high stress of her job as a young social worker in Child Protective Services. She discusses how practicing yoga at home improved her mental and physical well-being and how she later incorporated Japanese energy work, Jin Shin, to further support her wellness.

By 2002, Lisa began teaching yoga after completing a teacher training course she discovered during a Jin Shin training session at the Community College of Aurora.
