We Go Together - Grease Live, Barry Pearl And I

When I was ten years old, I saw “Grease” for the first time and it changed my life forever! The music, the sets, the costumes, the dancing, and all those amazing actors playing all those memorable characters sparked the creative fire in my soul - which fueled my desire to be a part of the entertainment industry my entire life. 

So interviewing actor Barry Pearl aka “Doody” from the film “GREASE” on this podcast has been a dream come true!

Even though Barry and I have several mutual friends, we had never met until I attended the Emmy FYC (For Your Consideration) event for the Fox “Grease Live” program at Paramount Studios on June 15th, 2016! As you can tell by the photos posted I had a blast that night.

Not only did I get to meet Barry, but I also met several cast members and the director, Tommy Kail, of the live special - including Vanessa Hudgens (“Rizzo”), Julianne Hough (“Sandy”), Kether Donohue (“Jan”) and Andrew Call (“Sonny”). And even though it was a new cast telling the same story and singing the same songs that magic I felt when I was ten years old was still there.

In other words, Grease is STILL the word and we STILL go together.
