Lara Logan 00:00:31 Welcome to this week's episode of Going Rogue with Lara Logan. It is my great pleasure to welcome back someone to the show who has become, I think, a good friend and amazingly, a brave woman who was targeted by the deep state, by all those people that were involved President Obama, Hillary Clinton, you name it, John Brennan when they went off to President Donald Trump and they didn't care who else. They made casualties of their war. So it was Carter Page, it was George Papadopoulos. And of course, one of the most central figures to all of it was Svetlana LaCava. And for those of you who don't remember, Svetlana was a professor at Cambridge University in the UK. She was born in the Soviet Union. She was an expert, basically in Soviet history, and that made her the perfect target.
Lara Logan 00:01:22 They set her up to be a honeypot for General Michael Flynn. When they were trying to drag Michael Flynn into this whole operation. Really a conspiracy, a real conspiracy. So Svetlana is the author of several books, and she has a new book that is coming out. This one is particularly interesting because it goes off to one of the individuals at the center of it all, which is, Barack Obama, Barack Hussein Obama, and, and this book is not is not out yet. we've been talking about it, her and I going back and forth Because there is, there is. Obama was at the center of so much of this. And what makes this particularly interesting and relevant right now is how it lines up with certain things that the president said in the speech he made to the nation not that long ago, where, you know, he laid out if you were really paying attention to what he was saying, he was laying out all the different people that were being targeted, as they work on a number of issues, whether it's justice for election accountability or it's justice for treason and sedition.
Lara Logan 00:02:30 There was there was, you know, to the not casual observer, to someone who was following this, anyone who has been following this from the very beginning, there was some very significant points that the president made, and there is nobody who is more qualified to address this than Svetlana markova. The poor woman was pregnant with her first child and happily married when the next thing the world exploded and she was framed as the honeypot for General Michael Flynn. That failed, but at great cost. Personal cost. And what's extraordinary about Svetlana is that in all these years, she has never taken a knee. She has not. She is unbowed. She has not been silenced. She won't be intimidated. In fact, she's on the offensive constantly. The woman has a tireless. She's tireless and incredible energy for this. And a very supportive, loving husband, David, who is right there in the trenches with her, I have to say, quite remarkable how the two of you have survived all of this and stayed together.
Lara Logan 00:03:42 And now you have this new book coming out. Svetlana, tell me, why did you decide to do this? Why does this book focus on Barack Obama?
Svetlana 00:03:53 Laura, thank you so much for you and for your audience to be with me on this journey. And, the new book is about Barack Obama, but it's also about the machinery of the state where, they can just suddenly turn on someone they do not like. They do not want to become the next president. And in this particular case, they just decided that Donald Trump was just not going to be the president. they decided that the sacred right of the American people to vote for the person that they, like. they just decided that's not going to happen. We're just going to stop it. And President Barack Obama stopped it. And, he tried to stop it, rather, and he decided to approve a plan by Hillary Clinton and the CIA and John Brennan. And the reason why I decided to write this book is right now. We hopefully have grand juries out there in Florida persecuting the prosecuting the case against Barack Obama, against John Brennan.
Svetlana 00:05:06 And I'm hoping that I was the first person to lay out the evidence altogether, to say that this is something that should not have happened and should not happen again.
Lara Logan 00:05:17 Okay. Let's talk about that. So for people who are not following what's going on in Florida, there has been a significant investigation going on down there that is run by the US attorney, Joe diGenova. And, you know, Joe has a long history in Washington, D.C.. Man, he is. No, he is. This is not his first rodeo. That man has, I mean, he has staying power and he is not a DOJ insider. He is not a career bureaucrat. He is a pit bull. That man is a pit bull. And he has been put in charge of this Mar-A-Lago documents case. Right. That's really what we're talking about, which is, you know, outside of the jurisdiction of the typical, jurisdictions like Washington, D.C. and Southern District of New York, where the president doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of getting anything through.
Lara Logan 00:06:07 This is in the jurisdiction, of Florida and, you know, and and particularly the judge, Eileen O'Connor, who, has ruled in the president's favor before on another case. And one of the things that the, that the defense tried to do in this case was to move venue to try to get a change of venue. Did they fail in that, Svetlana?
Svetlana 00:06:31 They did. So the judge, I think, was the one who surrounded the case against President Trump and, against, against President Trump in the classified documents case. And the reason why I even have a case in Florida is because all of the original, events. The regional conspiracy took place ten nine years ago, but the co-conspirators, including Brennan, Coleman, Barack Obama and people who assisted them, they did not stop. They did not just like, give up, they continued. They did not give up. They continued with the cover up. So the latest events we had in terms of the conspiracy, which is continuing to this day, is the raid on the president's home in Mar-A-Lago in Florida, which is where they try to hide and extract the documents that they say were classified documents were actually the documents proving the conspiracy.
Svetlana 00:07:40 And so that's why we have the case today, because on one level, they never covered up. They have to. So they never stop. They have to keep covering coming up. But from our perspective of people who hopefully, you know, want to suggest this is they kept going and going and going. They did not stop. And so they didn't stop in 2016. They didn't stop in 2017. They continue today to cover up their crimes. Can we redo that last bit? 1911. Okay. We do that bit. Yeah. So they did not stop. They did not stop in 2016. They did not stop in 2017. They kept going and going to cover up their crimes, which meant that they raised the peasants home in Mar-A-Lago in 2022, and they seized documents that would have proved that their guilt. Meaning that the conspiracy case continues to date. And this is why we have the jurisdiction of Mar-A-Lago.
Lara Logan 00:08:45 Okay, but so how do you know what documents they seized? And, how can you say that with such conviction?
Svetlana 00:08:58 Because myself, I was, assisting the Durham, a special counsel Durham investigation in the middle.
Lara Logan 00:09:03 Of John.
Svetlana 00:09:04 Durham. So.
Lara Logan 00:09:05 Yes. Who was the special counsel who was appointed to look into the whole thing? And, and for, you know, for most of us, we were pretty disappointed in what he came out with in the end.
Svetlana 00:09:18 So was that.
Lara Logan 00:09:19 Yeah. So you were working with his team and talking to his team for several years.
Svetlana 00:09:26 Right.
Lara Logan 00:09:27 And they told you what was in those documents?
Svetlana 00:09:32 Well, first of all, the first thing that happened is in the middle of the Durham investigation. So you might remember, and it sounds like a bit of an ancient history now, but back in the day, Durham was appointed back in 2019 and then in 2020, the investigation gathered some, strength. And this is when I was started speaking to John Durham and his people. Then, of course, Joe Biden was allowed to take the election over.
Lara Logan 00:10:10 The 2020 election. I'll say it for you, Svetlana. And then Joe Biden was allowed to steal the 2020 election. The geriatric, dementia patient was put in place by the auto pen administration.
Svetlana 00:10:26 And this is something that, you know, you can refer to. And I refer to my book, in my book is Obama's third term. So Obama never left Washington, Obama never gave up. And when Biden was placed, installed, into place. All of his people assumed senior position within the so-called Biden administration, including, for example, Lisa Monaco, who was a senior person with previously the Obama administration, including Susan Rice. She was in. She ended up in the white House, including Avril Haines, who used to be Obama's deputy director for the CIA, deputy director, and including Maggie Goodland, who was Jake Sullivan's wife. Jake Sullivan became the national security advisor. He was the Obama and Hillary Clinton adviser. So basically, the Obama team took over during, you know, what I now call Obama's third term or Biden's first term. They took over the Department of Justice and took took over the intelligence community. And what they did is they initially went and we retroactively reclassified the documents that they didn't.
Svetlana 00:11:50 They didn't like they they thought could cause them harm. So we actually have the stamps which show that about April and May 2022, they reclassified retroactively the documents that President Trump declassified.
Lara Logan 00:12:06 In his first.
Svetlana 00:12:06 Term, in his first term. Then a few weeks later, they went and raided Mar-A-Lago and seized the documents that they claimed were classified and tackling. Technically they were, because they've just retracted it.
Lara Logan 00:12:21 I see they just retroactively reclassified documents that had been declassified. They're so slimy. It's disgusting.
Svetlana 00:12:31 Right. And then they charged President Trump out of a fear of of all people. So they were the ones who did all these things. And then they accused President Trump of doing what they themselves were doing, which is treachery. And they went and accused him of being a traitor under the Espionage Act. And what that meant, what that meant is that we have the list of documents, including the documents about myself, which is how, you know, I come into the picture in the first place, right? The documents where I was accused of being a Russian spy who seduced President Trump's national security adviser documents about me, documents about other things which show that the CIA and the British intelligence and other members of the Obama administration were involved in the coup against President Trump.
Svetlana 00:13:27 They reclassified those documents retroactively, and then they tried to punish President Trump for declassifying them by saying that he could have provided the documents to Russian spies, and therefore they charged him under Espionage Act, which was the Jack Smith case.
Lara Logan 00:13:44 It's just unbelievable how I mean, what is said up there? So dishonest. And then Svetlana. This is the thing, though. Here's the headline is when the president came out and made his speech to the nation, you were one of the people listening. And you heard the same thing that I heard when when he inserted into that speech a line about documents that were put in burn bags. Now, we heard early on in the second term, I think it was fairly early on that at the FBI they had found all these burn bags. So can you speak to me about that and how that relates to your book?
Svetlana 00:14:29 That's right. So President Trump mentioned in the speech about election interference, about how President Obama and his crew had documents, had evidence destroyed. And he also mentioned how those documents, through sheer luck, were found by his current administration during his second term.
Svetlana 00:14:49 And, what actually happened was that, there were a number of documents. They included the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. They also include documents related to the Durham investigation. They should also include documents related to James six, so J6 and also documents relating to the Mar-A-Lago raid. And those documents were found in the secret room within the Hoover, the FBI. You know the.
Lara Logan 00:15:20 Hoover Building, right?
Svetlana 00:15:22 Yes, the FBI, Hoover Building on the seventh floor. And only a limited number of people have access to this floor and this specific, specific room. And President Trump's people found it only, only last year. And President Trump specified that they were not there. for reasons of, you know, luck, they were actually there for those documents. They found them only because of how incompetent the people were who tried to destroy these documents. And just to clarify, the burn bags are the, documents that theoretically, if you're not doing anything nefarious, you're supposed to destroy documents that are super top secret. And people under Obama and under the Biden administration use that in order to destroy documents that showed their guilt.
Svetlana 00:16:25 And they put them into that secret, room in these bags to be destroyed because they didn't want President Trump to use those documents to show what they've done. And specifically on the list of this documents we have. the Hillary Clinton plan to tie Donald Trump to Russian intelligence. We have other Crossfire hurricane documents, and we have the Mar-A-Lago raid, which was done in order to retrieve those documents and made sure that no one saw them ever again.
Lara Logan 00:17:04 Okay. Svetlana, a couple things there just for, for so for people who don't understand the process. Right. Is that there is a very strict legal process for destroying official documents, classified or not classified. If you're going to destroy official documents, you there, there is someone who actually you have to check in with. You have to have lists on outside of a burn bag. It needs to list exactly what documents are contained therein. That has to be logged by the person who is normally in charge of this, and so on. So the thing here was that you couldn't take well, if you're going to destroy documents that you don't really have a good reason to destroy, except that you're covering up your crimes, you can't take that through the normal process because it gets logged and it is tied to your name, your badge number, your everything.
Lara Logan 00:17:59 So if you're the person that walks into the the the place where documents are normally destroyed, there's a person there. You have to be physically face to face, accountable to that person. If you have a physical paper document today, it typically in the intelligence community. I know this from talking to people in intelligence. If you have a physical piece of paper today, chances are that is a highly secretive or highly classified document because most of what we do is digital. So when people are printing stuff out. When you actually have just a piece of paper, it typically means that this was so sensitive you didn't want it in a digital system where it can be accessed, you know, by all kinds of people. It had to be printed out and dealt with like that. And so there is, you know, these are not these are not random steps. They're not voluntary. These are. This is protocol and procedure and rules and laws that you actually have to follow. So you've got to go to that guy.
Lara Logan 00:19:01 You've got to give your badge number. You've got to be accountable. You've he's got to lug it in. And there has to be on the outside of the bin bag, a piece of paper stapled to it that lists this document, this document, this one, this one, this one. Exactly. What's in that bag? Now, they obviously tried to destroy so many documents and do it secretly that they appear to have run out of time. Would you agree with that?
Svetlana 00:19:28 I would, and I think that. And thank you. This is a really good explanation because it's not some random process. So regionally. And Lara you're right. Is that so? If you were not using this process for nefarious reasons, what normally happens within the intelligence communities, there are some documents that so top secret, they're so top secret that you can only have a hard copy, right. And they've used a process. So they made documents that implicate themselves. And by they I mean the Obama administration and then the Biden administration, they used the disguise, they used the cover of national security to make this documents, paper only, to make sure that nobody is aware of their crimes.
Svetlana 00:20:19 And they used the normal or, you know, the very high standards of the national security procedure, which which you should. If the document is highly secret in under ordinary circumstances, you should destroy documents. If you read them and they, you know, for your eyes only. And then and then they represent high, high risk, you should destroy them. But they.
Lara Logan 00:20:48 Especially.
Svetlana 00:20:49 When you.
Lara Logan 00:20:49 When you go up to top secret, special compartmentalized information. TSC. Right. Once you get up to that level, these are the kind of documents that you're talking about.
Svetlana 00:21:02 That's right. And so, so so what they did in this case is, is they took this procedure, which would be the procedure for using, in case you were reading, you know, very, very highly classified documents. And they apply this procedure for documents that implicate them. Right. So for example, and we know that from, you know, the list of documents that was found, for example, they used the Durham report documents.
Svetlana 00:21:32 So. So, so special counsel Durham uncovered that Hillary Clinton, presidential candidate back in 2016. She had a plan to link Donald Trump to Russian intelligence. That plan was communicated by John Brennan to Barack Obama. And he effectively signed off on this plan. And she was communicating with her.
Lara Logan 00:21:54 Wait, let me stop you there. Just just to remind the audience, this was in 2020, in the summer of 2020, when her campaign was in trouble. Right. And there was some angry communications between her and the Soros people because they were like, we're pouring all this money into your campaign and you're not doing as well as you said you were going to be doing. And like, are we in trouble here? And so the Clinton campaign came up with this, they with this strategy to tie Donald Trump to Russia and to make out as if he was some kind of Russian stooge or Russian spy. Putin was his handler, and they worked on this and worked on this and worked on this, and they eventually forced it through.
Lara Logan 00:22:37 Correct?
Svetlana 00:22:39 Correct. 2016. That's right. And of course, you, Lara, were one of the first people who exposed what the scandal was, which is that Hillary Clinton was using her private, unsecured server to hide a bunch of her crimes, which includes in Benghazi, which is something that you reported on. And Barack Obama was copied, under fake name in this communications. And Hillary Clinton was obviously very unpopular at that point because although they told the general population Hillary Clinton was going to be the next president, but when they actually looked at the polling day data, they realized that actually she probably could and would lose the general election in November 2016. And they have to. They had to come up with this plan.
Lara Logan 00:23:32 So they came up with this plan. And then what happens is because one of the things that I know that you bring out in your book is the fact that Barack Obama was very good at, creating a narrative. So he would make sure that so he would have these meetings that were that were off the record, and then he would follow it up with an official meeting where he would say all the right things so that he would create.
Lara Logan 00:23:58 It's almost like parallel construction, right? You're creating a parallel chain of evidence. So here's the real evidence. Here's what really happened. But you're creating a parallel chain of evidence that is that is a cover up. Right. And that says and does all the right things.
Svetlana 00:24:16 That's right, that's right. So in 2016, Hillary Clinton was going to lose the election and whatever they told the American public on TV. They had the eternal polling which said she's not going to win. She's not going to win. She had health problems. She had corruption problems.
Lara Logan 00:24:34 And a lot of people just hated her.
Svetlana 00:24:37 Right. Right. She was just unelectable. And they were trying to figure out, hey, how are we going to do that? And Barack Obama was heavily invested in making sure that she's going to be elected. And he instructs his apparatus, his intelligence and law enforcement apparatus to make sure she gets cleared and then that to make sure that she gets elected. So, for example, he shut down while Loretta Lynch, you know, the investigations into the Hillary Clinton or the Clinton Foundation.
Svetlana 00:25:11 we literally have the e-mails that say, shut it down. he shut down the investigation into her email scandal, which would have included the Benghazi scandal. That's something you reported on. And that also included, the fact that they, they, they, they were struggling by, made, you know, that's why the Hillary Clinton email investigation, which was a fake investigation, into her email scandal, into her use of private server was called media exam. And the exam was for the FBI to make sure they shut it down by the media. They shut it down before the time. They were reluctant.
Lara Logan 00:25:57 To give her time to recover before the election.
Svetlana 00:26:01 That's right, that's right. And the moment they cleared her, they had to start with this plan of linking her to Russian intelligence because they had no other way of getting her elected.
Lara Logan 00:26:15 You mean linking Trump to Russian intelligence?
Svetlana 00:26:18 Oh, sorry to link Trump to Russian intelligence because there was no other way of getting Hillary Clinton elected because she was unelected. But she had health problems.
Svetlana 00:26:27 She had personality problems, she had corruption problems. And she had the problem of the using the unsecure, email server that made her look like she's somebody that American people could not trust. Whereas Donald Trump came up and he had a very, very different message. He was the one who was going to unite the two, you know, people who are unheard, people who were not listened to. He was going to unite the working class. And I think it's very important not to underestimate what was happening in 2016. So although they were telling everyone, that Hillary Clinton, of course, was going to win. Yes. But actually, I think people knew, substantively, that Donald Trump had a very good chance. Okay. He came out of nowhere. okay. He did not have experience as a politician, but that's what people liked about him. Oh, yeah. He was the first person who was able to unite the religious, the, you know, the faithful, the evangelicals with the working class.
Svetlana 00:27:40 So people who traditionally voted for Democrats, who felt that they have no voice and they represented a real danger, too, although on the news, you would always hear that Hillary Clinton was always going to win. Actually, that wasn't that was not the truth, because they saw the real poll numbers. And the poll numbers said that Hillary Clinton actually probably was not going.
Lara Logan 00:28:02 To going to.
Svetlana 00:28:02 Lose. So they.
Lara Logan 00:28:04 So, so, take put this for me in terms of those documents. Right. Because okay, they realize that she's going to lose. There's those emails between her campaign and the Soros people and their furious. Right. And. And so they come up with this Russia collusion thing. They push, push, push. And eventually, Obama says yes. Correct.
Svetlana 00:28:31 So Obama says we we need to get her over the line. But, and he makes sure she gets cleared of any investigation. So she gets cleared of the, Clinton Foundation investigation through, of course, we always have James Comey and Andy McCabe, and we, of course, have, Obama DOJ on the case.
Svetlana 00:28:55 And they always clear her up to the point where we have the infamous tarmac meeting, where.
Lara Logan 00:29:02 The tarmac meeting between Loretta Lynch, who was then attorney general, and Bill Clinton, which they tried to claim was about everything other than what it was really about.
Svetlana 00:29:12 Exactly, exactly. She's going to be cleared. So Obama orders that. But now. Now she's cleaned up, now she's cleared. that's not enough, because the polling numbers are still not looking good. And her sponsors are seriously worried because the e-mail scandal, although James James Comey came out in public, has said that, you know, they're not going to charge her with this crime of possessing classified information on her email server. American people don't believe it. The polling numbers look terrible. So what do you do? Your sponsors. If you're. What do you do if you're Hillary Clinton, what do you do? If you if you're a Barack Obama, what would you do if you're bad guys. Right. And your sponsors, George Soros and people like that say, hey, we have a problem.
Svetlana 00:29:59 And Hillary Clinton or her campaign sends a message, which is the message that we end up later discovering that they tried to destroy said, hey, don't worry about that. We have a plan. So what are we going to do? We're going to distract. So we're not going to address it directly because there's no way of addressing, you know, being a criminal directly. But we're going to do we're going to distract the attention. And that's a typical Clinton Obama trick, where whenever you actually caught your bank to rights, we're going to we're going to distract from this. We're going to say that actually, I'm not the one in Hillary Clinton's case that is a risk to national security. Donald Trump is we're going to link him. We're going to link him to Russian intelligence, who actually, in reality doesn't have any links to Russian intelligence. But that's what the campaign decided, what they should do. And now what are we going to do? Part one is we're going to demonize demonize Donald Trump.
Svetlana 00:30:59 It's actually it's written down in those emails. We're going to demonize Donald Trump. We're going to link him to Russian intelligence, and then we're going to get there by to investigate it. We're going to get Jim Comey and Andy McCabe to end this investigate the thing that we ourselves made up, which is Donald Trump's ties to Russian intelligence. That's what we what's written down. That's the message from the Hillary campaign to her sponsors source. And that is a document that then, John Brennan, the director, receives because it gets intercepted and he goes to Obama. He goes to the president and say, hey, we have this document that says Hillary Clinton is actually going to set up this thing where she's going to demonize Donald Trump and she's going to end up having FBI investigated her opposing candidate and Barack Obama. And these are not my words. These are the words that are written down in documents. Barack Obama doesn't say, oh, hey, let's rescue Clinton for this, or let's investigate Hillary Clinton for this horrible plan, you know, to send out, to set up her opponent.
Svetlana 00:32:10 Barack Obama says, hey, can you bring me any evidence we have of collaboration between Russian intelligence and the Trump campaign? And Jim Comey replies something with this document is still redacted, but he has four asterisks to it. And we know that a few days after that, the FBI started investigated for investigating four Trump campaign advisers who are Mike Flynn, Carter Page, George Papadopoulos and Paul Manafort. So we know effectively that Obama ordered his FBI to follow the Hillary Clinton plan, that she agreed with Soros, which is to investigate the Trump campaign for the Russia collusion. And those documents are the ones that they later try to hide because it nails the Obama people to and.
Lara Logan 00:33:15 And these are documents that some of them are notes that John Brennan made during that meeting with Barack Obama. Right. Who was then president? That's right. And of course, it's completely illegal for a, you know, a candidate in a presidential campaign to create false intelligence about their the other candidates and to go off to them. I mean, as you say, you know, the shock is that Barack Obama didn't say, yeah, I mean, let's investigate the Hillary campaign.
Lara Logan 00:33:45 This is wrong. We got to stop this. Oh, no. That wasn't even a thought. In fact, it was like, okay, well, let's see what evidence we have to support this effort that she's doing. And these are documents that were in the burn bags.
Svetlana 00:33:59 So the doctors weren't in burn bags. So, half of the documents, were declassified by the first Trump administration and the half of the documents, they could not. They were not able to declassify. So Hillary Clinton campaign communications ended up in the John Durham reporter. Much later on, John Durham gave special counsel. He tried to investigate this plan by Hillary Clinton and with the blessing of the Obama administration. And he was trying to get hold of his documents, and he couldn't because they again abused the classification authority to say that these documents are highly classified. So he was forced to put them into something which was called classified appendix to the Durham report. And I knew there were pages. So we're kind of, I suppose, jumping a few years forward, which is that the plan, Hillary Clinton plan was during the 2016 election and approved by Obama.
Svetlana 00:35:00 And then much later on, when special Counsel Durham investigated this, this whole affair, he was not able to declassify these documents. and so therefore, the public did not see them. And, you know, I and others, you know, said, well, why are there missing pages to the Durham report? So eventually, eventually they got released in 2025. So only just last year. So remember the whole thing took place in 2016 and we only got hold of these documents now. And it transpired that the reason why those documents were missing is because nobody could find them, because they were put on the seventh. they were put into special burn bags, which this burn after reading bags, which you only invoke when you have serious national security concerns. So the, concerns. So the Obama people and the Biden people use this national security excuse to, try to destroy documents that would, show their role in in the coup.
Lara Logan 00:36:12 That would implicate them in a treasonous conspiracy. I mean, that's that's what we're talking about.
Lara Logan 00:36:20 Their role as co-conspirators in a treasonous conspiracy that was against not only President Trump and his administration, but against the American people.
Svetlana 00:36:32 Well, that's right, because all of you suffered as a result, because you all have this sacred right to vote for the president that you choose. Right. Some people might like Donald Trump. Some people might dislike Donald Trump, some people might like another candidate. But the bottom line is every every person, every every person who's, you know, allowed to vote in America. Yeah. He's supposed to be able to vote for the candidate they like. But here they said, actually, we don't like that. We don't like that candidate. Right. They decide back in 2016, 2015 2616. And they continued that that actually, you know, the great unwashed, as we call them in England, which is that the normal working class people, they you know, it's something like they should not be allowed to choose their own presence. No. And and this is why, you know, something else has explained in my book, which is that the, you know, why it's called the Treasonous Conspiracy? Because there's, there's the seditious conspiracy, which is the conspiracy to overthrow the government of the United States.
Svetlana 00:37:35 But then there's a treasonous conspiracy where you involve other, other countries, you know.
Lara Logan 00:37:41 Other nations. And then, of course, there's other crimes like spallation of evidence. Right. Because you've now taken evidence in criminal cases and you've tried to destroy it as part of your cover up. And that's just one of a litany of crimes that are involved in this, never mind defrauding the American people and the president himself. Because if we remember right. Barack Obama, he met with Donald Trump. He didn't tell him about any of this. He didn't tell him about the Clinton campaign targeting him. He didn't come clean on any of this. The only thing that he wanted to do at that time was to stop President Trump from hiring General Michael Flynn as his national security advisor, because Obama knew that General Flynn was a real threat to the false narrative of Russia collusion, that it just wasn't going to fly. They weren't going to get away with that. The man ran the Defense Intelligence Agency, right? I mean, he had relationships with with every relevant country.
Svetlana 00:38:41 You say that like, oh, you shouldn't hire such and such. You know, he didn't say, oh, you shouldn't hire such and such because there's a problem with that person. he says he said that. And that's one of the things that I think I opened my book with is that, you know, Trump, President Trump, incoming president sitting there with Barack Obama and American people expect, rightly so, that there's going to be a peaceful transition of power. And Barack Obama doesn't say, hey, Hillary Clinton has this plan against you. He doesn't say, hey, we have this investigation against you. He's sitting there like looking nice and saying, oh, we're just going to have this peaceful transition, which is what American people in the world expects from the United States of America. But actually, behind the scenes, they had this whole fake investigation organized based on the plan by Hillary Clinton, endorsed by Obama, endorsed by Brandon, CIA, to actually stop, American people electing the country that they want.
Svetlana 00:39:50 But about Barack Obama doesn't say that he actually does the opposite. He then uses his information, the information which is discussed where Hillary Clinton and her crew by people like Stefan Halper and Christopher Steele and other people.
Lara Logan 00:40:05 Who were.
Svetlana 00:40:05 The.
Lara Logan 00:40:05 British spies that were involved. Yes.
Svetlana 00:40:09 Right. Who provides fake information about the Trump campaign, created the fake.
Lara Logan 00:40:14 Steele dossier with all the nonsense about about Trump being peed on by, you know, hookers in Russia and all that, that, complete, you know, BS that they made.
Svetlana 00:40:26 Up about the context, right? But also about the contacts between the, you know, the fake information about, Trump campaign contacts with the Russian intelligence. So, for example, they made up the story about George Papadopoulos when.
Lara Logan 00:40:40 They made up stories about Carter Page. They made up stories about you.
Svetlana 00:40:44 Of course. And that's why I come into place. They said that I had an affair with president, so by the stage of Trump's national security advisor and that I was Russian intelligence general Michael Flynn.
Svetlana 00:40:55 Yeah, they sound right. They sound ridiculous. But what they did. They did not dismiss them. What they did is they recycled the fake stories that they used to influence the election, and they put them into the intelligence community assessment. And we know from former Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, the classifications that Barrack Obama personally had a meeting with his, with his intelligence community and said, hey, why don't you change the assessment that we have? So every year the intelligence community produces an assessment saying, hey, how did the elections go? And there was just another regular, election. And what they did in this case is they had a normal assessment. And then we know that on December 9th, 2016. So that's after President Trump won the 2016 election. So that's, one month after the election, and also one month before one and a half months before the inauguration. President Obama ordered the intelligence assessment from saying that nobody interfered in the election, including Russia and Russia didn't have the means to affect the election or the need or the desire to do so.
Svetlana 00:42:18 They, as Tulsi Gabbard says, it wasn't whether Russia changed the election it was given that Russia has changed the election results. We're going to produce intelligence community assessment. That's going to say on the orders of Barack Obama that, Russia and President Putin, use his intelligence services to install Donald Trump. It wasn't it wasn't Eve. It was how they did it. Although the actual intelligence community documents say it was the opposite, that Russia didn't have the desire or the intention to see President Obama. And so Russia didn't have the desire and intention to interfere in the election and install President Trump. They didn't have the means to even do that. And they used exactly the same story as the story we're talking about, which is why it was so important for the coup plotters, as I call them, right, for the Obama administration people to destroy any documents about this Hillary plan. They recycled the documents from the Hillary plan, which said that Trump campaign advisers, were being investigated by the FBI for ties with the Russian intelligence.
Svetlana 00:43:30 Those are the same documents. during 2017, in order to make it look like President Trump was not.
Lara Logan 00:43:40 legitimate.
Svetlana 00:43:42 legitimate. Legitimate. Right. So it's kind of like, you know, when you initially start, you know, reading the Steele dossier and the CIA documents from people like Stefan Harper. But like first, about people like me. It kind of sounds a bit weird, funny and not funny, but it kind of doesn't sound so serious, right? But now you come to the coup plot, right? Which is that actually they recycled the very same documents that were already made up by the Hillary people. President Obama orders them to be used for Bran and Clapper and a whole lot in order to make a definitive assessment that actually presents legitimate. And that's when it becomes really, really serious.
Lara Logan 00:44:27 And so you're altering intelligence, you're committing fraud, and, you know, you're defrauding the American people and the president and, you know, not to mention all the other things that you're doing by setting up people who are completely and utterly innocent, like Carter Page, who was just a naval graduate who had helped the FBI and the CIA was working, was on the CIA's payroll, was helping them bring in and prosecute Russian spies, and that's how they knew how to target him, right? Because he had helped them before.
Lara Logan 00:44:58 So you took a person who was a patriotic person who served his country, and you completely destroyed him and destroyed his life, just like they tried to do with you.
Svetlana 00:45:09 I think you're quite good at explaining that, actually. You know, the people they targeted, they have two types of favor, right? some of the people like me were in the periphery, but some of the people were their own operatives. So they would like, tell, you know, I see a guy like Carter Page, hey, you're helping your country. You're protecting them from, you know, some sort of threat from Russia, from whoever. And you should do this and you should that. You should do that. And then they would know, like you would show up. They were the ones they sent him to Moscow. Then they they were the ones who sent him to Cambridge, remember, in England and then other operatives like Stephen Harper, the long term CIA operative, and Christopher Steele could read. Hey.
Svetlana 00:45:53 Carter Page went to Moscow. Carter Page went to Cambridge.
Lara Logan 00:45:57 Yes.
Svetlana 00:45:58 and.
Lara Logan 00:45:59 And then they can make something nefarious about that trip. Right. They can suggest something. So it's, you know, guilty, in the court of public opinion without anything that could ever stand up in a real court. And, Svetlana, let me ask you. So, I mean, you Barack Obama, is on the cover of your book. You have made this one specifically, focusing on him. And I wonder why is that? And how do you see the role that he played?
Svetlana 00:46:28 Well, half of it is because of what the documents show and half of it because of all of the events that happened, could not have happened without, explicit approval of Barack Obama. So he was the president of the United States. And we have so many players. We have Australians, we have the British, we have the CIA, we have the FBI have the Department of Justice? How did all the people you know? We know it's a conspiracy.
Svetlana 00:46:55 We know that there was no Trump-Russia collusion. And yet they all somehow agreed that there was going to be this plan where they were going to link Donald Trump to Russian intelligence. Right? nobody would have done it with explicit without explicit knowledge and approval of the president of the United States. You know, the British wouldn't do it. The Australians wouldn't do it. They say they are the DOJ. In all the players involved. We're not going to do that. But we also, of course. you know, I think something we were discussing earlier when we when we're talking is they also sometimes they split. They, they slip up a bit. they don't mean to leave the notes of their crimes, but they end up doing that in covering up their crimes. They sometimes end up doing notes. So, for example, we have two days after receiving the Hillary Clinton plan to tie Donald Trump to Russian intelligence. We have a meeting between Brennan and Obama. That meeting was not noted because they heated. And this is something I'm still working on, trying to get the notes off.
Svetlana 00:48:06 But we know that following that meeting, Brandon, or met up with Comey and Comey ordered the opening of Crossfire Hurricane, which is the investigation to the Trump campaign. So we can deduct this. Then another few days later, we have this meeting of 3rd of August, which I think what we were discussing is that the way they do it, they have this off the books meetings, and then later on they have a meeting, which kind of settles it. So we have brands now it's a meeting with Barack Obama. And there they say, hey, you know, those notes are published, they are in public domain. And they say, hey, Brent says, I received this meeting. I received sorry, I received this information. I received this intelligence that Hillary Clinton wants to link Trump to Russian intelligence and, you know, open the FBI investigation. Barack Obama says, oh, yeah, cool. you know, what is it that we have? And Comey response and then they, they, they, they start an investigation to this Trump adviser.
Svetlana 00:49:11 So we actually they sometimes, in their, desperate, you know, desire to, cover their backsides, they sometimes slipped out because they didn't think this information would become public. And they write it down. They write, they write down what was said. And what was interesting is Brennan said that, Barack Obama said, put the right people on it. Then we have, numerous text messages between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. So this page was a you know, it's easy to say, oh, she was just a girl that Peter Strzok was having an affair. Well, she was actually legal counsel to Andrew McCabe, who was the deputy director.
Lara Logan 00:49:51 And Peter stopped to remind people. So Andy McCabe was deputy director of the FBI at the time. Peter Strzok was the deputy of head of counterintelligence under Bill Preston at the FBI. And Lisa Page was legal counsel. She was an attorney. I mean, and.
Svetlana 00:50:10 Right, right. So they're not some like, like kids, you know, having a love affair.
Svetlana 00:50:16 I think I think it sounds funny now, but back in the day, they actually had serious roles and they were saying, look, Porter's, you know, the president of the United States wants to know everything we're doing. And the white House is running this, right. They attended the meeting. So President Obama was watching really closely what was going on. And it is in his character to make sure that he was informed about every step and and and further all these characters like Jim Comey, like Andy McCabe, like John Brennan, all this other people, they would not take those steps without explicit knowledge and approval from the president of the United States. But then it gets worse, because we know from Tulsa classifications that Obama ordered to change the intelligence community to say, you know, original assessment was this was just a normal election. The 2016 election was just a regular election. And the Obama person ordered changes from saying that to say, hey, Russia interfered. We'll have those notes because Jim Clapper and John Brennan, Jim Comey email about that and say because of president's instructions, we changed the assessment to say that Russia interfered in in the election to install Donald Trump.
Svetlana 00:51:37 We also have, Obama's, specific instructions to go and quote unquote, brief. He gave instructions to Brennan just before the election to go and brief then Tories. Leakers such as Adam Schiff and Dianne Feinstein and Harry Reid. We have his instructions to say, hey, why don't you go to Harry? Why don't you go to Adam Schiff? Why don't you go to Dianne Feinstein and tell them about this alleged fake Russian interference in the US election? And so at each and every point, as far as Obama was, and I sometimes call him Teflon, right, because he tries not to leave fingerprints. But in each and every point, all those steps could not have taken place without presidential interference or proven knowledge. And sometimes without, you know, he gave direct orders. And the point is, is that he gave these instructions because he wanted to make sure Hillary Clinton becomes the president of the United States. And of course, it all culminates in 5th of January 2017. So the elections in November. President Trump is going to be inaugurated in January.
Svetlana 00:52:56 And people always talk about January 6th of 2021. But what about the the two insurrection, the true, election interference took place on January 5th, 2017, when we actually have Susan Rice, saying that, okay, there was a part one of the email that she says, oh, we should do things by the book. and that was a lie. But the later declassification shows that actually, when it comes to national security, we should not do it by the book. What we should do according to the orders of Obama is we should hide The Russia investigation, which they know is fake because they were the ones who fabricated it from the incoming Trump administration and specifically from the incoming national security adviser, Mike Flynn, because he would have worked it all out and we should hide all this information. So and that's on Obama's orders and on the same on the same day. so, he then, orders. So the day so the day before, seventh floor, which is Comey and McCabe, the order for the investigation to Mike Flynn, which is called the raid investigation, crossfire raiser to be kept open, which is the investigation which started about lies, which is where I come in.
Svetlana 00:54:28 they were supposed to close this investigation. They created this fake story about how, a Russian spy who had an affair with President Trump's national security adviser, my Mike Flynn, they knew it was. It was a lie. They wrote it down. It was a lie. But they ordered to keep open because they wanted to make sure they had a reason to hide the Russia investigation.
Lara Logan 00:54:48 And also because the FBI agents involved in the original investigation were about to shut it down because they found nothing. They were. Yeah, they were about to shut it down. And when the leadership at the FBI found out about that and communicated that there was panic and the white House were the ones with Barack Obama involved who said, no, no, no, keep it open. Right.
Svetlana 00:55:11 Keep it open because they had to hide the details of the Russia investigation from President Trump. Now, incoming President Trump and his incoming national security adviser, Mike Flynn.
Lara Logan 00:55:22 And they had to have a reason to stop mike Flynn because they knew the one person who was going to see through all of this and tear it all apart was general Mike Flynn, because he'd been running the Defense Intelligence Agency.
Lara Logan 00:55:34 And and he knew. He knew well. The bodies were buried. He knew how they were lying. And he knew when they tried to brief the nonsense that they were going to breathe. He was going to call him out.
Svetlana 00:55:45 Right? Right. So it was very important for him. And they recycled the same information. Remember we talked about July, August before the election. They came up with this plan to link President Trump. Oh, sorry. By that stage. so, candidate Trump to Russian intelligence? Yes. And they didn't have any. You know, they made it up, but they set up this fake investigation and the insurance policy was that they're going to they're going to run it in case, in case Donald Trump wins. They were going to run it through. So they recycled the same fake intelligence, which is why they had to hide it. Later, they recycled the same fake intelligence into the intelligence community assessment. And then they kept this investigation open. The one which is you and I just discussed, which, you know, involves me because I was set up, on the meeting.
Svetlana 00:56:39 In the meeting on personally ordered by Barack Obama, who said, oh, let's keep this investigation going. And they need to keep it going because it moved from election to Ference where they wanted to change. the result, you know, the election result. It now became a proper coup, meaning that American people elected Donald Trump and they, they they needed to overturn the election. And we actually have notes from Peter Strzok. So he was the head of, counterintelligence.
Lara Logan 00:57:12 Counterintelligence. Yeah.
Svetlana 00:57:13 Yeah, yeah. And he was actually internally saying that there's nothing like he specifically talked about the story about me and President Trump, national security adviser General Flynn. He said that there's nothing there. There's no derogatory information. FBI agent said there's nothing. Right. So we have evidence that the FBI internally knew this, but they were orders from the top. They were ordered by Barack Obama to start the coup. So it now moves from election interference as bad as it is. And this is why Tulsi Gabbard calls it treasonous conspiracy.
Svetlana 00:57:52 It now moves to a coup to actually overthrow the president of the United.
Lara Logan 00:57:57 States, overthrowing the legally elected president and overthrowing the will of the American people. And that's that's the critical thing here. So, so when you heard the president refer to these burn bags and the documents and the evidence that they tried to destroy, when you heard President Trump mention that in his speech, what did that say to you?
Svetlana 00:58:21 Well, because President Trump, like some people, dismiss him saying, hey, like he's just, you know, he's just being too, you know, he just says stuff, right? And I listened to him very, very carefully because when he says things, that means he possesses specific, specific information. And what did he actually say in his speech? He said that Barack Obama was involved in ensuring the documents, revealing his role in the intelligence in the election interference and later the coup ending up in the burn bags to be destroyed. What does what does that actually mean? That means that documents, you know, we just we just went through the documents, which is the Hillary Clinton plan, which Obama approved to tie Donald Trump to Russian intelligence.
Svetlana 00:59:09 It means Crossfire hurricane documents, crossfire hurricane documents are the ones that, as part of the Hillary Obama source plan, that they are open investigation into the Trump campaign during the 2016 election season and call me personally authorized opening of the investigation, which is fake. In order to try and stop Donald Trump. So what we have in the burn bags is the Hillary plan. We have the Crossfire Hurricane documents, and then we also have the Mar-A-Lago raids. that's also in the burn bags, because much later, President Trump, during his last day of his first term, he declassified documents we've been talking about just now.
Lara Logan 00:59:56 Yes. Which they reclassified. And then you said there were January 6th documents in the burn bags. Can you tell me about that?
Svetlana 01:00:05 I don't know what the documents are because they haven't they haven't published what the specific documents are. What we know the documents include is the Mar-A-Lago raid, the Gen six documents. We don't know which ones, but we can, you know, probably guess because, you know, we had Lisa Monaco and Mikey Cutler, who is in Monaco, who is an Obama person.
Svetlana 01:00:29 And, Maya goodland, there was, Jake.
Lara Logan 01:00:34 Sullivan.
Svetlana 01:00:34 Wife of, Jake Sullivan. Right. So we can guess that probably. So at the moment, all we know is that there was an investigation is investigation. I don't know what the status of it is. And that's something that, you know, should be made public. So we haven't actually seen the documents about J6 yet, but they found documents relating to J6. They found documents relating to this is the Trump administration now in 2025. Gen six Mar-A-Lago. Yeah. Raid. And then they found documents relating to the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. Then they found an appendix classified which included the Hillary Clinton plan. Because remember, Durham found all these documents, but they did not allow him to declassify them. And then they ended up in the burn bags. And they also found the referral from the CIA to Jim Comey Saying that Hillary, you know, had lied.
Lara Logan 01:01:29 So. So really? They found all this evidence of the of these people who were co-conspirators in subversion and in treason and in fraud and in spoils of evidence and a litany of other crimes.
Lara Logan 01:01:42 You know, that's one thing the Justice Department is very good at is getting you for every aspect of this. So, you know, a lot of people are frustrated and say, well, why didn't the president announce any arrest to to me, first of all, the president is not the guy to announce a risk, because that would be the attorney general's job and it would be challenged immediately right by the psycho Trump anti-Trump media. But, but when you when you heard this speech, did this signal to you as steps towards accountability, or did you feel like many people felt, oh, this is just more exposure without any action?
Svetlana 01:02:24 Well, I think I think President Trump just genuinely wants accountability. I think that president is like less, powerful than people think. I think that there is limited amount of what he can do so he can go and expose it. And he did. So he went on stage in front of the in front of the whole media and said that Barack Obama had the evidence of his crimes, put in the burn bags to be destroyed, and we found them through the incompetence.
Svetlana 01:02:56 Right. These are his exact words. That's that's what he can say. It's then up to his Department of Justice to prosecute on that. So I think that he's saying, come on, let's just let's let's just do it. But on the other hand, you know, one of the things that also happened in recent days, and I'm not sure I've updated you on this, but like John Brennan, you know, the former CIA director who's in charge of the whole operation, he published, like he, he he started this whole malicious prosecution case, and he specifically says, oh, the president of the United States, you know, Trump, Donald Trump, like, ordered me to be indicted. And he hasn't even been indicted yet. But he said in advance of him being indicted, I just want to file this.
Lara Logan 01:03:41 Well, you know, they say Atlanta attack is the best form of defense, right?
Svetlana 01:03:45 Right, right. So, so, so theoretically, he's not supposed to, like, interfere in the course of justice.
Svetlana 01:03:52 But I think that in this particular case, he wanted American people to hear what the evidence is. And that's, you know, why you and I are speaking? Because I think he specifically named Barack Obama as a person who was behind the plot against him, at least in the first four years. Yes. And I think that that that actually did sabotage his administration. Like, so, you know, people might say, hey, but, you know, he got elected anyway. So what's the problem? Well, the problem was That the steps that Barack Obama took to try and frame President Trump for, you know, being a puppet of Russia ended up in the Mueller investigation and other things that ended up, you know, handicapping his, his administration. No.
Lara Logan 01:04:42 It's not just handicapping his administration. It's a Marxist tactic. It's called paralysis of government. That's what they're trying to do. So they will. So not to mention that it cost the American taxpayer hundreds of millions of dollars, right? it prevented the Trump administration from moving forward on their agenda in, in many different ways.
Lara Logan 01:05:06 They were fighting on every single front. They were fighting for their survival. And there are still people today who think that Trump colluded with Russia and that he wasn't legitimately elected in 2016. So it's an information warfare operation, but it's also a Marxist tactic to stall, stall, stall, cripple, undermine, slow down. It's the paralysis of government so that you cannot govern effectively because you're constantly on the defense trying to to react to every single false allegation. And then, of course, you know, you know, with General Flynn, for example, I mean, he was going to prison until he figured out that his attorneys weren't working for him. And, and he was being, you know, really steamrolled because they were threatening his son. And until he got an attorney that that understood the case and the law well enough to fight it for him, you know, he was going to jail. I mean, for goodness sake, this was, you know, the head, former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency, the national security adviser.
Lara Logan 01:06:09 And the message was, if we can get these people at this level, then you better watch out because we're coming for you. Right? And you're not going to stand a chance. So it has a you know, it has second and third and fourth order effect beyond the paralysis of government that is meant to really pave the way for them to do what they do best, which is to steal elections and then come in, you know, and hide evidence and then create false malicious prosecutions. I mean, of course, John Brennan knows all about malicious prosecutions, right? Because that's exactly what he's been involved in against President Trump. I mean, these people, that's another tactic in information warfare, which is to project onto your adversary your own actions. So you cover up by accusing someone else of doing exactly what it is you're doing. And I know everyone's nodding in the audience when they hear that because they've seen it 100 times now, you know, they've seen it over and over again. Oh wait, we're interfering in Ukraine telling people what to do.
Lara Logan 01:07:16 Threatening them, you know, Holding withholding aid and American money, you know, so that we can get. So what are we going to do? We're going to accuse Trump of doing that. Did he do it? No, he didn't do it. That was the subject of the first impeachment trial. Who did it? They did it. Joe Biden was even caught on camera at a think tank event saying that he'd done it. Gloating about it and boasting about it. And because that was such damning evidence, what did they do? They got out front, so they got out first. Which is another critical thing. Right? Because when you get out first, you can set the narrative. And then they have to now try and counter the narrative, which is a losing proposition. Most of the time. You want to be the first one out there because nobody wins on defense. And once you're defending yourself and trying to dismantle something now everybody believes it. Now you got to prove to them it's not true where you know.
Lara Logan 01:08:10 So they make sure that they get out first when something is coming out and they can't stop it, they then try to control it so that they can control that narrative. So even if they can't prevent you from finding out about it, they can manipulate how you perceive it. So they can say to you, oh, for example, the Hillary Clinton emails, oh, oh, they know this is coming out. So what do they do? They can't stop it from coming out. So they tell you there was nothing classified in her server.
Multiple Speakers 01:08:39 Oh, wait.
Lara Logan 01:08:40 I'm sorry. First of all, she had one server. Anyone with a security clearance who works in the United States government knows that when you sit down at your desk, even, you know a low level soldier, you've got a classified system and you have a an unclassified system. And if you have if you have one system for classified and unclassified, you're breaking the law, right? So first of all, no one talks about Hillary Clinton having more than one server.
Lara Logan 01:09:10 They'll say she had one server, okay. She broke the law. Then they say, oh, it was you know, there was nothing classified in there. That's a lie. Then they say, oh, it was classification gone wild things that were classified that shouldn't have been. That was another lie. Then it was a oh, it's retroactively classified. You know, we're going to go in afterwards. They can only be talking about what is classified by the State Department, because Hillary Clinton doesn't have authority to declassify or retroactively classify or whatever it is, any information that is issued by any other agency in the United States government because she was secretary of state at the time. So what's issued by the CIA? What's issued by the National Reconnaissance Organization, the National Security Agency, whatever it is that comes from them, they're the issuing authority. They're the only ones that can alter it. And if you want, as secretary of state, part of that information to be declassified, you have to go to them and ask them to do it.
Lara Logan 01:10:05 The only person who the act of declassification, the act of speaking is an act of declassification, is the president of the United States. and and they all know that. But they are counting on the fact that the American people don't know it. So they covered up their crimes, and now they've been caught. And that's what the president was telling the nation. He was saying to them, they covered up this crime and this crime and this crime, and we found the evidence in the burn bags. We know what they did. We know that there are journalists who were paid by China to lie, and they did. We know who they are. And if anyone really believes that they're not going to do anything about that or they're not already doing something about that, I think that they're naive and and maybe falling, you know, maybe they're just frustrated because they're not seeing things at the pace that they wanted. But this is a this is a massive, massive act of treason that the likes of which we have never seen in the history of this country, the founding Fathers prepared for this moment.
Lara Logan 01:11:14 And what the president was telling the nation is we have a deadline. That deadline is called the midterms because if we go into the midterms with everything the way it is, we will not have a real election. Would you agree with that?
Svetlana 01:11:34 Well, first of all, yes. And second of all, I think, you know, you know, some of the things you said, they just, very, very, very beautifully put. So, for example, back, you know, back to Hillary Clinton, is that, they were trying to deceive the public with this, what they called the DNC hack, because people get confused, because they confuse convoluted stories. So there was this DNC situation, which, you know, Assange was threatened to expose, etcetera, etcetera. There was one thing, but the thing that was really happening is that Hillary Clinton had an unauthorized server and they were trying to distract from it. They would say the typical tactic, and I think you call it Marxist tactic.
Svetlana 01:12:21 You can call it whatever you like. But basically, you know, I call it the Clinton tactic, which is that what you do is you do not address the crime, you know, head on. What you do is you distract from the crime. So they came up. I mean, with these two stories, they came up with this DNC hack thing, to distract from the fact that that that the secretary of state had an unauthorized, unclassified server that she and other people, such as Barack Obama, has been confirmed that he was communicating with her under a fake name on that server. They had an unclassified e-mail server, and therefore she represented the presidential candidate in the 2016 election, as well as the president of the United States at that point, their There is national security, right? And we just literally saw a few weeks ago John Bolton, you know, pleading guilty and potentially going to jail, I don't know, a deal he got for much lesser thing. But the point is, you're you're just not allowed to store, as you've just explained, a simple soldier, cannot, you know, have classified information, when he's flying or at his home.
Svetlana 01:13:36 This is secretary of state, the president of the United States and other people. They had unclassified classified information on the UN,
Lara Logan 01:13:44 On an.
Svetlana 01:13:44 Unclassified.
Lara Logan 01:13:45 Server, which is illegal. Right. And they all know it's illegal.
Svetlana 01:13:50 And she was an actual threat to national security. So, for example, the Benghazi story that you obviously was, in a lot of, you know, you suffered a lot of pain as a result of exposing it. That was just exactly the type of thing, you know, I obviously don't know what was in her emails, but what we do know is that if she was communicated about location of American personnel on her unclassified server, so a classified server that was not protected and people were able to trace it. And as a result, American, you know, servicemen suffered, you know, lost their lives. That would be a big problem, right? For for her, for Hillary Clinton and for Barack Obama. So therefore, and American people. Right. They might not, you know, they might have not known ins and outs of all of this.
Svetlana 01:14:49 But the Hillary email scandal was a big problem, as was her health in the 2016 election. And how did they try to to to distract from it? They tried to distract from it by creating an alternative situation. So she was a national security risk. And I think that's what you said. is that always accuse you. It's a very good tactic. They accuse you of the crimes that they themselves committed. So if Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were the threats to national security, what do they do? They accuse Donald Trump of that. So they accuse their opponent of that. They're guilty. Yes. And it's a very, very effective,
Lara Logan 01:15:32 It's very effective. But you know what? It's not as effective as it's not as effective as the truth, because there's only one truth. You can make up a million stories and you can project all you want. But, you know, people stubbornly cling to the truth. They just know they may not have all the details. They may not be. You know, sometimes they're sophisticated, sometimes they're not.
Lara Logan 01:15:55 But people just know. They know when something is true or or not true. And it may take time. You know, you can get away with lies for a certain period of time, But in the end, those those lies that you keep telling to keep your your lie up. Right? Because lies have no legs and they just keep collapsing on themselves. You know, the truth doesn't have to. To worry about any of that. It stands no matter what. Whether we like it, don't like it, no matter how much we want to change it, it doesn't matter. There's only one truth. And so it seems to me that we are reaching a point now. Tulsi Gabbard. Did come out with her investigations. She had the dig, the director's intelligence group, which spent months going through all of this and have a plethora of evidence. But now what we have is the president, not just Tulsi Gabbard, the president, standing before the nation and laying out all those different people. Barack Obama being very, very specifically named in that speech.
Lara Logan 01:16:57 That, to me, is the president laying out for you all the people? well, not all the people, but a lot of the key people and elements that were involved that you have addressed in your book because as I understand it, tell me if I'm right. But as I understand it, the Department of Justice has. Yet you spent years talking to the Durham investigation, but you've yet to talk directly to the Department of Justice or the FBI.
Svetlana 01:17:24 So, I'm hoping that, you know, I think President Trump wants accountability. I have no doubt about that. I also think that all the people think that the president is all powerful. I you know, he's he's limited because he has to follow specific processes. So I'm really hoping that what his speech meant, you know, part of it is that and also the appointment of, you know, George Genova and other things, I hope, I hope and I think there's very little time left, but I hope that's a signal to getting accountability.
Svetlana 01:18:05 And the reason why I wrote the book in the first place is I felt the duty because I, you know, I collaborated with numerous investigations. I've started off back in 18, collaborating with the, you know, do you remember Devin Nunes was back then, in charge of the investigation, you know, by the Congress? I, you know, I helped them out. then I helped out the, the Durham investigation. So I tried to do my best to provide all the evidence because I'm not sure anyone else, laid it all out in one place. So one is that I personally witnessed a lot of things that happened. But secondly is because of my job as as a historian, as a researcher, I was able to pull everything together. And I'm really, really hoping that, this time around, with the right people in place. and that's why I wrote the book. They can just read it. They can just look at all the evidence together. Do I think Barack Obama will necessarily go to jail? I don't know.
Svetlana 01:19:16 I don't know about that. Do I think there's another evidence? So do I think there's enough evidence to put him in front of the grand juries? I think there is. And so what this book does, yes. It also tells the story for the American people to know what happened to them and what was done to them in the last ten years, you know, to steal their voice, to steal their ability to vote. But it's also a gentle sort of, I suppose, push, to tell the Justice Department. Here are the documents. and that's why, you know, I stayed away from any any direct attacks. I kept to the documents, as I do as a historian, and I just laid it out in one place because there's has been a lot of declassification thanks to President Trump, and we're just so lucky to have him because if he didn't come back, we would be in really, really bad shape. But the time is running out. We don't have this much time, right? He's done his best and it's now for us to do our best.
Svetlana 01:20:19 And so I, I did what, what what I do best, which is to lay out the evidence in one place. I put all the documents together, I put all the evidence together. And I think it's now up to his President Trump's Justice Department to actually do something.
Lara Logan 01:20:35 To actually do something. And you sent me the document that that lists what's in the burn bags. We're going to post that as a link with the show so that people can see it themselves. I know your book is not out yet. Right. So, so people, I guess, need to follow you on x, or on social media to see when it actually comes out if they are willing. But but I think what you've said there is important is that if you really want to understand, there's been pieces of Russia collusion that have come out over the years, documents declassified as Tulsi Gabbard, the president and so on and so on. And if you just if you want to understand it all, that's really what this book is.
Lara Logan 01:21:17 one of the things that it does for you is to bring all of that together so that you can see how it relates. And it's it's with the benefit of where we are now, because there's been some good books written, you know, Lee Smith's book, for example. Excellent. But, but it's older and so it doesn't bring it right into the present with the second Trump administration and the burn bags being discovered and all of that.
Svetlana 01:21:44 Well, first of all, thank you. Secondly, when we're over there, I hope, it's going to come out probably by the time we edit this interview. I hope the book will come out. So, we can rerecord this, But basically the my my social media handle is at real estate. Look over and the books should probably come out in the next few days. And the idea was, is that, so the idea is, is that everything, like, as much as a human can possibly put together in one place for the last, you know, from the documents and the information that came out? Yeah.
Svetlana 01:22:22 For the last 11 years, which include my own evidence, but also includes numerous the classifications. I think that's as complete as it is. And it's an indictment of the Obama administration. But also, you know, what we call the deep state or the shadow government. So these are unelected people who are Obama weapons, and it has nothing to do with intelligence. It has nothing to do with, you know, spying or it's nothing to do with collecting intelligence. It's all to do with abusing your position. You know what they call weaponizing. It's basically in layman's terms, it's when you abuse your position as a politician in order to circumvent another, person winning because you just do not like what American people are going to in.
Lara Logan 01:23:13 Well, you could argue, since John Brennan was there lockstep with the president. Right. You could say the intelligence agencies are very much involved.
Svetlana 01:23:25 Well, that's right, that's right. But what I'm trying to say is people think intelligence agencies or, intelligence community is about spying in the sense of like, you know, collecting intelligence, analyzing intelligence.
Svetlana 01:23:37 But in this particular case, what they did is they twisted it. So what they did is they just didn't want Donald Trump because he represented the existential threat for them. And you can, you know, you can assign whatever motive you want to each individual actor. But collectively, Globally. You know, American deep states, as we call the shadow government, British deep state and other global. They just didn't want Donald Trump, so we didn't want him. The British didn't want him. Basically, they just didn't want him. Right? That's right. But you guys kept insisting that he's going to be the president. And so what can they do? They can't tell you outright. Actually, we we're not we're not going to let you vote for who you like. So they use the intelligence community because the intelligence community no longer was being used for collecting information and analyzing it with it, which is its job. But it was used to create a coup, over an overthrow of the government using completely fake data.
Svetlana 01:24:42 And that is what I'm exposing. So what I'm exposing is the president of the United States. Back then, Barack Obama conspired with various axes within the US intelligence community as well with the politicians as well. As well as with the media and American people. Hey. Right. And law enforcement. That's that's a very that's a very important point you made because, you know, John Brannen can't arrest people, but Jim Comey could. Right. And that's why this is for another interview. But this is why they transferred this fake, you know, this fake stories. This lies from, the CIA invention to the practicable, practical, you know, FBI story where they could arrest people. That was the insurance policy. In case Donald Trump wins, we can go and lock up his people and himself. Right. That was their plan. And so what they did is they abused the government. They abused the intelligence community in order to achieve a political aim, which was not to allow the candidate that people elected.
Lara Logan 01:25:54 To overthrow the will of the American people. Yes, because they think they know better. So when they say a government of the people, for the people, and by the people, they don't mean it. Because when the people choose their own government, they say, oh no, no, no, no, wait a minute. We can't legitimize this guy. This guy should never be there. The people shouldn't actually choose. They don't know what they're doing. They're not qualified to choose their own leader. In fact, I don't even know why they exist. Right. That's what it's come to. Why do these people even have a right to exist? And, And then they thought that they could they could do whatever they wanted and get away with it. And now they're facing the reality, the possibility that they're not going to get away with it. And they're doing everything they can to make sure that that doesn't happen, that that accountability doesn't happen. And if they can stop it, They're never, ever, ever going to let themselves be in this position ever again.
Lara Logan 01:26:53 That's why they're talking about getting rid of the Senate and packing the Supreme Court and abolishing the Electoral College and all the madness, the madness that is being laid out by these candidates. And the reason for it all is so that they are never in danger of being held accountable ever again. There can be no Donald Trump. That can be no junior Donald Trump, no wannabe Donald Trump, no Charlie Kirk. Right. There cannot be a Charlie Kirk, somebody that sets fire to the people because they speak the truth. They can't have that. They can't have that because it gets in the way of their political ambitions, which do not involve borders there. The open borders crowd, it does not involve nations and sovereignty or faith or family or freedom. That's not the world that they're that they're dragging us into. They're dragging us into a world where the United Nations and and the World Health Organization and all these global institutions rule over the entire globe, the whole of the Earth, one world government, and they use their NGOs and technology to police us and keep us in line.
Lara Logan 01:28:09 And, and they use the Marxist tactics to get us there. But in the end, even Marxism is, looks pretty enticing compared to what lies ahead for us. So it's a pretty bleak picture if they win. But they are right on the point. They're right at the point of accountability, so we don't. Nothing is guaranteed. Nothing is assured. But they are right at the point of accountability. And it all hinges on the midterms. Because if they can get, they can steal the House and steal the Senate and pack it with enough rhinos. They will be unassailable. And it'll be over for us. And if those people who are sitting at home who are grumpy and disgruntled right now and feel betrayed or pissed off or whatever it is. Even if you have every right to feel that way, if you stay home in the midterms, you 100% play into the hands of every enemy that this nation has ever had. And and what's coming is going to make your frustration right now. You're going to wish that that was the only thing that you were dealing with, right? Because the good options are disappearing every single day.
Lara Logan 01:29:25 Good options will be gone before we know it. And we think that there's a price to be paid right now for standing up and for speaking up. That's nothing compared to the price that you'll have to pay further down the line. Well, Svetlana, I really appreciate your coming on the show. I know it's late in London where you are. I know your your baby's asleep and your husband is probably giving up on on you at this point. It's very kind of you. I, I wish you luck with finishing the book and getting it out. We will we'll be happy to let our viewers know when the book is out. There'll be a link attached to the show, and, and of course, you know, any and all documents that you want to share with us, will make available to everybody. You, you have you have been absolutely tireless. I, I really appreciate the fact that you have never given up. you're you're just an unbelievable fighter. I mean, it's a good thing you're not into wrestling or boxing because there'd be a trail of bodies in your wake.
Lara Logan 01:30:33 You know, I really.
Svetlana 01:30:35 I told you this off line, and I just want to repeat is, It's just watching you every single time you get it right. You know, you always stood up. You know, for the little people. And you always stood up for the truth. And when it came to lockdowns and Benghazi or anything in between. And it's just such an honor, you know, to speak to you and have you commenting on on my efforts. And I hope that together we can, you know, shine a little bit of light and, you know, the picture you've just thrown about what would happen if we do not succeed at making sure that the truth prevails and the honesty prevails, and that people get to choose their own freedoms because, you know, I think we discussed it before, but America is really is the last shining light. and if if you guys don't get it right, we're all screwed. So please, please, please, We just need to make sure we have accountability.
Svetlana 01:31:43 We need to make sure that that the freedom in America continues, because that will also impact Britain and all the other countries in Europe. And I also think again in your audience for never giving up. Yes. Thank you for the truth.
Lara Logan 01:32:02 You are absolutely right. America is a beacon of light for the world, and that's why it's so important to them to dismantle this country and this nation. But I got to tell you, Svetlana, you know, no matter what people think and no matter what people say, the rubber has not met the road yet. You know, when when a when tyranny really comes to the door of the people of this country, it's going to look very, very different to what it is now. They've gotten away with it for so long because they've been subversive, and they have a little bit by little bit, you know, managed to, to, to get away with their crimes. But in the end, it's not going to work in the end. The truth is stronger than their lies.
Lara Logan 01:32:52 and, you know, faith is a very powerful weapon, more powerful than all the power in the world, right? All the governmental power. And, of course, God is more powerful than everything. God is more powerful than everyone. And we all know that God wins in the end. It's just, you know, it's just so important to stand up, for the truth because, it it it it touches every single one of us. And people are having the same conversations all across the world because this is a global fight. They've made it a global fight. And, we're not going to surrender here. There's there's no chance in hell that the American people will surrender to tyranny. That is not going to happen. So and you know, none of us can do it alone. Right. You give me strength and and I'm sure you know, I give somebody else strength and and together, you know, you don't need every person to be an outlier. the more that speak up and stand up, the better.
Lara Logan 01:33:57 But in the end, it's going to be a small number of people that change everything. It always is. And and so we just ask and, and thank we just thank our audience for all of their support. We thank them for hanging in with us, you know, for being there with us. I mean, honestly, the my audience is the only reason ordinary people all across this country and all across the world, they're the only reason that I'm still out here, that I'm still working, that I still have a voice and have a job. I don't say that, you know, to flatter people. I say that because it's true. I absolutely mean, it's not. It's, you know, Corporations would have killed me off a long time ago. They've certainly tried over and over and over again. So I just want to say thank you to my audience and thank you. I know that people are going to be very interested in your book. You and your husband has worked with you on it, and you're both great writers.
Lara Logan 01:34:55 And, and so, I would ask everybody out there, please like, share, subscribe, get this out to as many people as you can. Let our voices be heard. and, thank you for supporting independent journalism and for supporting our work. You can go to Lara Logan. Com if you want to help support the show. But most importantly, you know what I'm going to say if you're a regular viewer. Thank you for being bold enough to go rogue with Lara Logan.
