Managing Anger with Dr. Tiffany C. Pope
In Episode 17, I am joined by Dr. Tiffany C. Pope, PhD, LPC, NCC who is a Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor, Life Coach, and Consultant. In her practice, Cultivating R.O.O.T.S. Counseling and Consulting, she helps her client's learn to grow in their relationships outcomes, and enhance opportunities to transform their self-concept. She has a passion for helping others by providing a warm, safe, comfortable environment where you can truly be yourself. Some of her specialties include working with teenagers, young adults, and military families. Dr. Pope does not subscribe to a particular counseling model because she doesn’t believe in a "one size fits all" approach to meeting her client's individual needs. Instead, she uses her instincts and professional training to help children, families and individuals look at their lives with a fresh perspective.
October is World Mental Health month. In exploring this topic of mental health, I realized that I have been seeing an increasing number of people who are angry. In this episode, we take a deep dive in discussing anger management, it's possible causes, management, and how to deal with others who may be suffering from anger issues. Candidly, I share some of my own issues with anger management and dealing with the anger of others. This almost became a mini therapy session for myself! This was a great episode we can all benefit from in our continued quest to live happier and fuller lives.
