WBCQ/The Planet airdate - 7/13/24Welcome to Fluxedo Junction! Each episode we bring you the best music of all genres from throughout the world, and this week we’ll be speaking with jazz/pop band Karma’s Tea. Comprised of musician and composer Mike Desroches on keyboards, and singer-songwriter Mystina Sol on vocals, Karma’s Tea skillfully merge contemporary jazz with the sultry essence of R&B, creating an enchanting musical experience that draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists including Erika Badu, Chick Correa, Stevie Wonder, D’Angelo, Alicia Keys, Miles Davis, Fiona Apple, Sting, and Snarky Puppy. That diversity is no surprise when you consider the pedigree of the musicians. Mystina Sol also fronts the multi-platinum group Cult Jam, and Mike Desroches has toured nationally in a variety of bands including the Skynyrd Legends Tour.
