Welcome to Fluxedo Junction! Each episode we bring you the best music of all genres from throughout the world, and this week we'll be speaking with artist and photographer Mike McCartney. Having worked under the name Mike McGear in the 1960's to distinguish himself from his brother, Paul McCartney of The Beatles, Mike became a key part of the satire boom in the U.K. with the poetry-comedy-musical groups The Scaffold and Grimms. He enjoyed a successful musical career throughout the 60's and 70's, but photography was always his first love. His new book, Mike McCartney's Early Liverpool, is a celebration of the city where it all started for him, and it's currently available through Genesis Publishing.
