Welcome to Fluxedo Junction! Each episode we bring you the best music of all genres from throughout the world, and this week we'll be speaking with theatrical producer Stuart Haimes. Stuart's connection to the theater world dates back almost to childhood, but hs is currently the co-producer of Andrew Lloyd Webber's and Tim Rice's classic "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", which opens on Saturday, March 8th at the Brooks-Elowsky Theater at the Plainview Jewish Center and runs until Sunday, March 16th. This production, directed by Bruce Bider and choreographed by Meghan Park, stars Joseph Massimillo in the title role, and Terry Hochler as The Narrator. But of course, the roots of this show go all the way back to the 1960's, with many different versions gracing the stage and being filmed over the years.
