Week 60- VSG Surgery- 1 yr Dietitian follow up appointment
This week I talk about my 1 year follow up with my Dietitian at Toronto Western Hospital
My Dietitian recommend I change my Calcium + D to Calcium Citrate + D. She said that Bariatric patients need this type of Calcium because of the surgery. She also commented on my food intake. She recommends, 60-80 grams of Protein, up to 100 grams of Carbs ( need more carbs because of my frequent workouts at the gym) and no more than 1200 Calories a day.

Surgery Date: 20/3/2018
Location of Surgery: Toronto Western Hospital ( Surgeon- Dr. Timothy Jackson)
Weight:
SW (Starting Weight) December 2017: 450 lbs
Optifast Weight February 20, 2018 : 400 lbs
SW ( Surgery Weight), March 20, 2018: 375 lbs ( Gastric Sleeve Surgery)
Last weeks weight- May 5, 2019 : 237 lbs
CW- Today's weight, May 12, 2019 235 lbs - 2 pound loss
I have lost 215 pounds in total since the start of this journey and 140 pounds since my surgery.
