In today's episode Adrian Lawrence talks about the progression from trainee accountant through to CFO, each step is important, but the first one is to train with the big 4 firms, to then move into industry with a role such as Financial Controller or Group Financial Controller.  To progress upwards then to Finance Director and finally to make the move to CFO.  This last stage is best achieved by cultivating contacts within the Private Equity space.

Here at FD Capital we work closely with PE houses and VC funds and whilst our primary focus is the technology sector in London we do still recruit nationally for FD's and CFO's across all sectors.  If you are recruiting a CFO please reach out to our team today and we will find you the perfect candidate.
