In today's episode Adrian Lawrence talks about the career progression from Finance Director (FD) to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and how often the best transition route is achieved by building up a network of contacts in the Private Equity or Venture Capital spaces.

We recommend using LinkedIn to build up contacts, cultivating a small number maybe 12 or so but having a long list of 1,000 or more, this volume of contacts is then enough to bring in a regular stream of opportunities which can then lead to roles and work.

If you are a business looking for a CFO or an FD, the we will be delighted to work with you to find the perfect candidates, we work closely with PE houses and technology companies.

We are based in London with a focus on the South East but also handle national opportunities.  Please visit our website at https://www.fdcapital.co.uk
