I’m specifically writing to comment on the narrated stories. I really appreciate these stories. The only problem- the narration makes the stories feel less authentic, less connecting. I world much rather have the story read by the authors- their intros never have me desiring that someone else read their story. Their voice feels right. They understand their material. The narration of the story about the driver for prisoners feels to be the wrong tone for the subject matter.

I appreciate the effort being made to create an experience with the narration, but i would prefer to hear the authors’ voices. That really connects me to them and their story.
