Long decline

I used to be a big Washington Post fan, but good Lord over the last year and a half or so has just been a bunch of hot ideological garbage. A perfect example is today’s episode on Wednesday, September 25 discussing the possible emerging war between Hasbulla and Israel.

The conversation starts off with a Washington Post “reporter“ interviewing a lady from Lebanon, the Lebanese lady was asked by the reporter if she was impacted By Israel’s bombs (which is a loaded in itself…), and the reporter was shown the ladies phone who scrolled to her social media accounts showing “people who had died from bombs“. News like this is embarrassing. I’m embarrassed that the Washington Post publishes contents like this. I used to be a big fan, but you have to report the story, not report your heart. this is a horrible example of news coverage and should strictly be labeled as a personal piece.

This piece is a microcosm of similar content broadly covering the war between Israel and Hamas. But even outside of this war, the Post has started to model most of the stories in a very opinionated way, just like this.

Again, most of the content being provided here are opinion pieces, not news pieces. The Post should really reconsider retiling their podcast.
