Alaska since ‘77

and as a 5 year old I can still remember putting my hands on Portage Glacier and staring at the patterns in the ice. There was a pullout near Girdwood and the glacier was in the parking lot. Now, you get on a boat and take a 15 minute ride out to it. If you have never visited this amazing state, you better hurry, the ice cream has definitely started running down our arm.
